An abundance of kindness

It was amazing. Everyone was very helpful. Get this! Almost all the way north, I discovered I’d left my passport in the safe. They confirmed it. Driver and manager met me at the station when I returned, took me to get my stuff, took me back to the station and helped me buy my return ticket. WOW!!

Five minutes walk from the bus station with a family mart opposite so very well situated. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The breakfasts were ok. Reasonable variety but not much fruit. The room was clean and well equipped, good shower. No complaints and would recommend without hesitation.

The hotel is located near the Railway Art Park in Taitung City. While the hotel is located a few blocks away from the busier city centre, the location is not as at all inconvenient as it is only a 20 minute walk to the night markets.

The hotel staff are very nice and helpful to point out the attractions around town. They were always willing to help call a taxi as taxis are not that easy to find in Taitung.

The hotel rooms are large and roomy and are very well adorned. The bathrooms are well laid out separating the toilet from the walk-in shower. The layout is very well thought out and very functional yet comfortable. We particularly love the sound insulation of this hotel.

The breakfast buffet has many different flavors and options. They have a nice tea and coffee machine that makes good milk, tea or espresso. Breakfast is served between 7:00 until 10:30 in the morning.

From our room window, we were also able to see the Pacific Ocean. We highly recommend this hotel to visitors to Taitung.

Later we saw one when we came down. Must be on break or bathroom.
No good if people are checking in. Should have another person or shift. Only one person at front desk.

Location is good for night market. Walkable.
Overall goodish-average. 3-star hotel still.

There were QUITE a few live ants on our bed/bedsheets! We had at least 5-7 on one (some dead some alive) and another one had about 2 that we just flicked them off the second bed and slept on it. For about 5200NTD (we upgraded to a family room from a double room), we really did not expect that sort of poor standard. It was at midnight when we got back to the hotel and saw the ants so were too tired to go and complain, but this should not have happened in the first place. When we checked out the next day and showed the receptionist the video (yes we have proof), she just said ok thanks for the feedback, and then later gave us a packet of treats (???) and that was the end of it. Really quite shocked with the standard but also the poor service recovery. Are we living in a age where we pay 5200NTD and we are supposed to just accept that there’s quite a few live ants crawling in the bedsheets? Would never go back again

Glad to see the hotel provides self served laundry. 飯店住過非常多，但像這家飯店的房間設計算是數一數二 guest oriented. 廁所跟浴室分開很常見，但廁所裡面還有洗手台很少見，很方便也比較衛生。行李箱擺放處放在浴室外，很方便洗澡拿取衣服或日用品，而且浴室裡面還有可伸縮的晾衣繩，現在很多新飯店都很少裝這個了，但對於習慣會晾衣服的個人來說，真是加分很多。推薦給大家

This is definitely not a luxurious hotel; however, rooms are well designed and kept in excellent conditions -- clean and comfortable. Mountain views are great at higher floors. I have been visiting Taitung at least twice a year for more than 20 years and stayed in many other hotels. I fund this hotel the best choice and have been staying here for the last few visits.

The hotel price was a little high but I guess it’s definitely worth the money. We were given an upgrade to a suite and the room was really fantastic. There were way too many windows for the room but I guess it was because this is the corner unit facing the junction. The thing I don’t quite like is the laundry facility which you need to pay for both washing and drying. Other than that, everything else is more than expected.

This is a corporate hotel. It was big and clean. Checkin and out was efficient. Communication by email/hotels.com message in English was excellent but the staff didn't speak English very well at the hotel.
Taitung is a bit of a sprawling transit city, not that pretty but the hotel was central enough that we walked to the market and restaurant easily.
Hotel provided luggage storage and transport to/from train station.
Breakfast was rather skimpy but serviceable. There appeared to be a Western option which was lost in translation.

A good centrally located hotel.

Check in was easy (but not until 1500 which is the norm).

Well located in a fairly spread out city. Places to eat in easy walking distance and convenience stores nearby. We also had dinner at the restaurant which was very nice.

Used their free bikes twice to cycle around the city. Has a great bike path that keeps you safe from the traffic.

Would stay there again.

I chose this hotel because of it's young age and nice decoration. I was not disappointed given that the price was reasonable and that the hotel was modern and well-appointed, as opposed to some cheaper hotels around. I stayed in a double room with an open washroom area. Although I didn't mind that as I was staying by myself, do take note if you are sharing a room with someone else. There was a gym and laundry area which was nice. As I stayed during the low season, I never encountered other guests except during breakfast. Breakfast was changed to a set meal service with a self-service salad and bread area, instead of the usual buffet due to the limited number of guests. Service was attentive and the staff catered to my needs whenever needed.
