Reason for Low comfort level was due to the unclear nature of the Kosher status of the hotel. The Meat Restaurant \"Ranch House\" is not Kosher and is open on Shabbat. Also, the Farm shop is open on Shabbat. The Hotel itself serves kosher Dairy food with a very good Hechsher from Rav Eliyahu of Tzfat, but if someone is going to stay for shabbat that is the only option. I think that given this is an Isrotel Exclusive Hotel they should be much more open about this. The reason the Meat restaurant is able to be non-kosher is that they say technically it is is not under the same roof as the hotel. This is quite misleading. I understand they are trying to cater to a more religious crowd, however, if they really want this to happen, then they should make the entire place kosher. Thank you.

The fixed price kosher meals in the milk/fish restaurant were unbelievably diverse and superbly done. The facility was very beautiful, very upscale. The views of Rosh Pinna and the rest of the valley below were amazing when eating on the terrace. The staff was outstanding and very helpful and very friendly. Lots of staff.

What a find. Incredibly beautiful hide away on top of a mountain. Fantastic amenities and a killer breakfast. Wish we would have booked our massages earlier as they were sold out when we got there. Didn’t realize what a happening place Rosh Pina was. Alll the restaurants in the main city wee hopping at 10:30pm on a Monday night!

Lovely place and everyone there wanted to please. Beautiful environment and the food was outstanding. The pool was absolutely terrific. At night a guest musician would come in and sing and everyone would joyously join. Wonderful hotel. And the staff was extraordinarily caring! B

The best spa hotel in Israel

This spa hotel is absolutely magnificent, starting with its location featuring natural views, beautiful landscapes, and herb gardens. The tasteful interior design, blending rustic and modern/classic elements, creates a wonderful ambiance. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the entire place is spotless.

The hotel's restaurant offers an enormous variety of dishes in a welcoming buffet style. This was our second stay, and it has become our top choice for a vacation spot in Israel. The only disappointment was the limited TV entertainment options, which included only basic channels and no VOD.

Superb Getaway

Amazing! An absolutely magnificent hotel, with ample places to relax and enjoy the outstanding views. Breakfast buffet was bountiful and fresh without being overwhelming. Staff could not have been more accommodating and friendly. Hands down the best atmosphere and service of any hotel I have visited in Israel. Spa was delightful with highly trained staff! Recommend!

Beautiful property with gorgeous views of the Sea of Galilee, valleys and hills all the way to the Golan Heights. Milk, cheese served at breakfast are from the hotel’s farm, as are organically grown vegetables and herbs served to the guests.

Our experience at this hotel/spa was beyond wonderful. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The restaurants were excellent. The dairy restaurant was awesome. It’s amazing how many dishes can be made using vegetables. Breakfast and dinner offered at least 100 different things to choose from. The wait staff were welcoming and helpful. Dinner at the meat restaurant was sit down the other was buffet. It was wonderful as well and the wait staff were eager to please and friendly. Our couples massage was magnifico. If we lived in Israel we would visit this property a few times a year. Since we live in the States we’ll have to wait until next year to return. Until then we’ll smile when we think of the fantastic time we had.

2 fabulous days up north!!

Our 2 day stay was amazing! The property is beautiful! Swam Laps in the Olympic sized pool. We did the half board which included dinner. The meals were outstanding. Gourmet, plentiful, delicious. Lastly, the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and solicitous. Would definitely stay again. Highlight of our trip!!

This is an amazing place for a couples or adult retreat. There are activities scheduled throughout the day but mostly this is self directed relaxation. The food in both dining rooms is outstanding and makes your visit. Take the farm tour and the Rosh Pinna tours.

Good hotel, but the food is mediocre at best

On arrival we were amazed by friendliness and efficiency of a reception staff. Hotels grounds and interiors were gorgeous, and our room was spacious. The hotel was extremely clean. Room service personnel was friendly and polite, and responded immediately to every request. The swimming pool and spa facilities were fantastic and free.

However, our stay was overshadowed by a low food quality int the main dining room. All salads were watery and not tasty. At first glance, there was a good cheese selection, but all were of same flat sticky taste regardless to brand name. Omlet was the only tasty breakfast dish, and onion soup and minestrone soup at dinner alike. Desserts do not deserve mentioning at all. To contrast with other hotel staff, the dining room service was absolutely indifferent and inattentive. One could wait around half an hour for cappuccino.

Furthermore, a second negative surprise at the dining was compete abscence of meat dishes in the dinner meal. Nearby meat restaurant was good, but it was small, always busy, and overcrowded. We managed to book a dinner at a suitable hour just once during our 6-day stay. The hotel staff was unable to help us reservation.

We are frequent visitors of high rank hotels around the globe, and know exactly how the things should run on. This was probably our worst experience in exclusive hotel.

At the bottom line, we can barely recommend this hotel to our friends.

Summing up 40 years of vacations at Mitzpe Yamim. The new design of the hotel is disappointing, tough economic reasons are obvious. Generally the hotel is trying to upkeep the spirit of Yaros the founder. No modern designer take away the view, the fresh air and the atmosphere of the place. The food is bad and low grade, the quantity & variety can't cover up for low quality, you must change the chef! - if you want us back.

It was impossible to get real hot coffee in the dining room although i tried 4 times !!! 0n breakfast .Why there is a rule of the administration- that's what we were told- not to serve hot coffee or tea in supper ? I was told to get the dessert to the lobby and order the coffee there !
Why in a room for a couple there are only 1 chair ?

I was in a hotel a few years ago before the perfect renovation was done on the place. The stay was excellent. We got the room at 15.00 to my delight and not at 17.00. It was great because I booked a massage and was able to rest a bit after the trip here. Important note: I booked one night at a hotel online because there were no more days available. The order stated that the amount to be paid was 1770 including taxes. To my surprise at the hotel I was told that the payment is 2008 shekels. ????There is ambiguity here when booking. Please check this. The entire hotel staff is extremely courteous. The place is clean and well maintained. On the morning walk he was a professional and sympathetic guide. The massage at the spa was excellent and Oksana's treatment was courteous and professional. Thanks for the super. We will keep coming back. ..

hotel is beautiful. surrounding grounds and view spectacular
food is spectacular
tried to change dates of stay; i am frequent Isrotel Exclusive customer and spent hours of phone calls, emails, on hold, and told 'i'll have someone call you' or transferred to more numbers of no answer. customer service of Isrotel just abysmal. and this at 2,000 nis a night.
I will never book again via Isrotel website (zero response) and will seek alternatives to teh Isrotel line whenever possible because of the non-existent customer service

We had a great time, our room was upgraded but the staff overlooked my request for hypoallergic pillows that caused a terrible allergy for me and really ruined my second evening. most of the time the food was great, the dinner in the main dining room is not as good as the other restaurant. The facilities are extraordinary and walking the grounds is so special. The staff is wonderful and very helpful

The hotel is beautiful and renovated. The room is spacious and lovely. The food is delicious!! Don't give up about the hotel's restaurant!!
Unfortunately, there was no flexibility about the check in or check out hour. We felt no effort to help us with that issue, although we wanted to pay for the extra hours. From 5 stars hotel I would expect a better service.

The hotel is very comfortable, quiet and clean. The food - breakfast and dinner is good and of very high quality, although for meat dishes you need to reserve a place in the steakhouse next door. The pool and gym were great as well.
