Very nicely located with all Albi’s beautiful sights a short walk away. The Hotel is no-frills. clean and comfortable. Easy parking and check in/check out were flawless. The hotel personnel were professional, and friendly. I would gladly stay there again.

30 minute check in due to confusion over payment with receptionist and no apology! 360 room hotel and no one speaks English in the building! Finally get my room - characterless empty chamber with no view! finally spent 45 minutes trying to connect wi fi which failed so gave up. Breakfast was cold as well. Hotel is full of elderly Spanish who appear to be on a govt subsidised break. No bar no entertainment just a vast hotel with no character. I could go on but overall a very disappointing stay.

The hotel location is perfect. Away of the touristic lanes, but in 10 minute walking distance to the major attractions: museums and the Cathedral. Clean and very friendly. Very close to a Michelin Star restaurant. Downtown is a lot to discover. Three days is a perfect stay.

Nice place,easy to find,good room,friendly staff....and free parking!
Busy area with heavy traffic,across river from old City,maybe 15/20mins walk.
Did not pay attention to area walking to old City....came back thru empty streets to hotel.
Nothing there...nothing...all little shops...no bars,bistros,restaurants...nothing.
went back to old City for dinner,walked back thru dark empty streets to hotel.
Saw 1 back street restaurant open!
Went to bed left early.
Nice place for sleeping,with free parking.....otherwise....better to be closer to the sights.

ONE NIGHT STOP OVER AFTER A WEDDING.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was ok. bed comfortable. It was very warm and with no ac it was very hot and stuffy. Breakfast was great.

Very friendly service, great location, only 12-15 min walk to the famous Cathedral. Breakfast was good, extensive continental breakfast choices. Parking free and easy in the street or in the hotel parking. Bathroom small, shower tiny, buth despite this would certainly repeat staying there again.

Tiny shower, impossible to shower

It was the second time we slept in this hotel, but it'll be the last one. We booked (and payed) the same for both stays,but this time our room had a tiny bathroom with a shower so small we couldn't even fit.

Initially I was disappointed because it was cold and raining when I arrived and the access to the hotel was closed and when I eventually arrived the little carpark was full. The reception closes at 21h00. The room itself was clean and warm though the shower was a bit cramped. The hotel restaurant was not ope but there were soe restaurants nearby.

Hotel located near the city center with free parking. The room was quite big and clean. Our room (standard) had a queen bed and an en suite bathroom with a bath. Although everything was comfy, we had a little problem with the plumbing, since the water was hot enough but with lack of potency. Free wifi worked perfectly. The guy on the front desk was nice and helpful

Stayed one night as a stopover, hotel relatively easy to find, reasonable central to main attractions such as cathedral and restaurants (approx. 10 min walk with lovely views of river and cathedral). Parking space limited but managed to squeeze onto driveway. All staff very pleasant and helpful. Room clean and neat, bathroom compact especially the shower! Very good breakfast, easy links to main routes out of town.

No air conditioning in the middle of a heat wave

Took this hotel on the recommendations of Expedia reviews but it was very disappointing. It was hard to talk to the staff as no one stayed at the front desk and the rooms were very small and not air conditioned. It did not deserve such a high rating. The breakfast was relatively expensive with no special touches. Would not recommend for a summer trip to France.

An adequate, clean and generally friendly hotel.

The standard room is quite adequate in size. The bathroom is large, but the tub is an
unsafe four footer that is extremely deep and slippery. Be careful !! Overall the room was comfortable although a little worn. This is the fault of customers who are a bit hard on hotel furniture. The breakfast is typical, quite alright, but expensive at 9.5 euros.
Remember, this is France and breakfasts are never included and usually overpriced.
The staff is quite friendly and very helpful. If we were to return to Albi we would likely
stay there again.

Stayed here for one night in September 2014.The hotel was extremely clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The walk to the old part of town took about 15 mins, and there were a number of restaurants there. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Good hotel for a good price

We reserved comfort double rooms for the first night on France. We had plenty of room for all of the luggage w so we could move with ease. The roon was clean with a good shower. The bed was queen size and was comfortable. The hotel is a short walk to the historical center crossing the river Tarn. The hotel staff was very pleasant and eager to help. We will stay there again when in Albi.

Perfectly placed for seeing the sights of the city

The hotel staff are very welcoming and helpful. They understand english if you speak slowly. The rooms are clean and comfortable and if you are lucky to get a room on the front you will have a great view. Breakfast is continental with plenty of choice very good value for money. Overall I would recommend this hotel for 1 to two nights stay to see the sights of Albi. Plus they have free car parking.

Shower/WC very cramped behind sliding/folding plastic door. Secure car park holds so few cars that we had to park in non-secure (but free) public car park. All of the claims slightly overstated - secure car park, but too small. 500m from Toulouse-Lautrec (my satnav said 800m as crow flies, 950m on foot). No restaurant in hotel which recommended one 20m away - we didn't use it as we didn't find it until after our evening meal on last night of our stay - down a side street rather than on street quoted in address and closer to 100m away.
For the money we paid, would suggest Campanile would be a better option - standard Campanile room would be slightly larger and shower/WC definitely larger

Albi is worth a visit

Great location. All the sights you'll want to see are within walking distance of the hotel.
Very clean hotel with ample off street parking.
Very helpful and pleasant staff.
The main problem was we were there when it was incredibly hot and the ceiling fan was noisy enough to keep even me awake! So we had 2 uncomfortable nights trying to stay cool. When it's not so hot it would be a perfectly satisfactory hotel to stay in.

Would recommend as a stop over

We used the hotel as a one night stop over travelling to Toulouse Airport. It is conveniently situated about 1 hour from Toulouse. The staff were very helpful and gave us good information about local sightseeing. Hotel was very clean and the beds comfortable. Could not find any fault with it and would definitely use it again.

Un hotel assez vieux qui manque de décoration , serpillères géante dans le couloir , déjeuner qui laisse à désirer , salle de bain d’une rénovation d’un autre monde , odeur dans la chambre et dans le couloir qui réveillerai un mort !!! Parking qui manque de place .
Franchement les gérants se moque complètement de la clientèle au vue de la prestation fourni et le tarif proposé.

Seul,point positif,la localisation,proche du centre.Obligé de boucher l’aérateur au dessus de la fenêtre,deux blattes s’introduisent dans la chambre.La salle de bain est minuscule.Le confort de la chambre et de la literie laisse à désirer.La classification 3 étoiles doit dater de quelques années.Le petit déjeuner,à fuir,pain et viennoiseries décongelés.Bref,un établissement qui devait être de qualité,autrefois.Seul,le prix peut attirer.

Très surpris pour un 3 étoiles de ne pas pouvoir s asseoir aux wc sans avoir les genoux qui touchent le mur d en face...taille de la douche minuscule.
Pas d emplacement pour travailler confortablement...un \"bureau\" de 30cm devant la tv ..pas de chaise mais un tabouret.

Insonorisation intérieure très minime..on entend les voisins uriner..parfaite de l extérieur.

Parking insuffisant par rapport aux nombre de chambres heureusement qu un parking public est à coté.

10 min à pied du centre ville..assez pratique

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour à Albi. L'hôtel bien situé en centre ville nous a permis de visiter la ville à pied, notre voiture étant garée dans le parking sécurisé de l'hôtel. Petite remarque, nous avions un problème de lunette de WC et de frigo, mais nous avons changé de chambre et tout était satisfaisant

Bel emplacement pour visiter Albi

Emplacement idéal pour rayonner sur la belle ville d'Albi et les environs. Cordes-sur-Ciel est à 20 km. Prestations de bon niveau. Attention à la baignoire pour les personnes âgées ou à mobilité réduite : elle est un peu haute à enjamber.
