White beach exceeded our expectations.
Friendly greeting in amazing huge reception area
Beautiful grounds running down to promenade & amazing long, wide “surfers paradise” beach.
Room was large and spotless.
Great bathroom / shower. Good WiFi.
Dining / all inclusive was fantastic - food was top class both in options & quality.
Incredible meat dishes, lots of fish and seafood options. Moroccan style food available every day and desserts made as you watched
A la Carte meal at Azha was great - they really looked after us with petals on the table & a cake for my wife’s birthday.
It was so peaceful & quite around the pool area, perfect for R&R. There were activities for those who wanted them but they didn’t disturb the peace.
The gates open onto the seafront promenade - its one hour walk to Taghazout village but so worth it... or just stroll on the wide sandy beach. Fantastic !!
There are two large indoor bars. One holds entertainment every night. We enjoyed one dance night and the Moroccan show but you could go every night if you wished. Bars had OK range of local cocktails and drinks from 10am poolside to midnight in main bars. it felt like proper all inc. Poolside Food Court has tasty snacks all day inc delicious freshly made pizzas.
The only thing we didn’t like was the tour manager Abdul. He pounced on us at check in & later wanted cash only for tours we ended up booking for under half the price on line. Overall: Amazing friendly hotel - we loved it.

Not a 5-star experience – very disappointing stay

I stayed at Pickalbatros White Beach Resort Taghazout with my partner from 2nd–5th April 2026, and the experience was very disappointing.

The room and bathroom were poorly cleaned, with visible hygiene issues including hair strands left behind. The room itself was in a dilapidated condition and nowhere near 5-star standards.

There were also serious safety concerns. Some lights produced a burning smell when switched on, suggesting faulty wiring and a potential hazard. This is completely unacceptable.

The bathroom was not properly maintained. The shower was broken and only fixed after repeated complaints, and the shower area light did not work at all during our stay despite being reported multiple times.

Service was inconsistent and at times felt discriminatory. During lunch, we were told to get our own water as it was “self-service,” yet the same waiter was serving and chatting with another (white) couple.

The only positives were the pool and the beach, although the beach is not private and the hotel has no dedicated sunbeds.

Overall, this hotel does not meet 5-star expectations in cleanliness, maintenance, safety, or service.

This hotel was perfect. Clean throughout. Fantastic food and restaurants. Great bar and entertainment area. Lovely outside areas and loungers. But best of all...the staff. They were always happy, polite and helpful. I have dietary needs, the catering staff went out of their way at every meal to help and advise me, even cooking from scratch portions (just for me). A fantastic holiday thanks to a brilliant hotel.

The staff were absolutely amazing and worked so hard to please the guests...and always with a smile. Our room was serviced beautifully and the whole hotel, inside and out was spotlessly clean.
The location was ideal for a walk along the beach or easy access to hop on the local bus into Agadir.
We would definitely recommend to others.

Large resort. Very comfortable rooms. Very close to sea with great beach and surf. Don’t expect calm seas; it’s a surf resort. Staff very helpful. Facilities very good. Not a lot else in the area at the moment, but everything catered for in hotel if you’re looking for a great place to relax and unwind. Agadir close enough to visit. Souk worth a trip.

The resort itself is beautiful, with stunning views and well-maintained surroundings. However, there were a few disappointments during our stay.

Despite being advertised as heated, the indoor pool was not warm at all, and the outdoor pools were also too cold to use — which was a real letdown, especially considering the resort’s “Ultra” package description.

It was also unclear what made this an Ultra All-Inclusive experience compared to a regular all-inclusive stay. We were surprised to find that certain alcoholic drinks still required additional payment, which didn’t align with what was advertised.

Overall, while the setting and scenery were lovely, the amenities and clarity around the “Ultra” inclusions did not meet expectations.

After reading some other reviews we were concerned about our holiday. However anything we had read was completely unfounded. We had a fabulous stay here and would highly recommend.
The staff are friendly and helpful and reception were extremely on the ball when we did have a small issue and it was rectified immediately.
The whole place appeared spotless and our room was maintained with no complaints whatsoever. The food and drinks were in abundance with lots of choice.
If we were to hopefully provide constructive critisicm we would maybe suggest to update towels and bathrobes - whilst perfectly adequate they are well used and becoming a little too worn out just to maintain the “look” of the hotel.
Also maybe open up a little more outdoor seating for the restaurants and whilst we ate outside all the time which was our choice and was great, it did look a little crowded inside, or maybe swop Alfredo and al a carte restaurant over ?
The animation team seems to be busy but we did not participate - our choice.
The sunbeds were plentiful and the leather sofas made great chill out seating - fantastic idea.
Would highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay away

Very tired hotel that they have literally just started to improve. Lack of cutlery, glasses, plates etc, have to relay your own table most nights, if you are not there at opening time. Swim up pool rooms are 40cm paddling pools and filthy. Bars have constant long queues and regularly run out of products. Bar staff substitute things e.g no white rum so use vodka and cocktails often taste similar for this reason. 95% of drinks are local and very poor quality. Bedroom cleaning often missed completely, but left as a dangerous skating rink, when they do do it, with patio doors left open after a serious accident. Drinks supplies (both mini bar and coffee) rarely replaced and towels missed. Entertainment virtually non existent during the day despite long listings displayed, very mediocre at night. Sometimes childish even. Poor labelling of food, occasionally even incorrect. Would not stay here again.

Incredible stay! Beautiful hotel. We especially liked the Moroccan á la carte dinner and both of the buffets! The beach is beautiful and the waves are so fun, would have been even better if we knew how to surf.
The lovely man who served us Moroccan mint tea every morning made our stay always with a welcoming smile and amazing customer service! Thank you so much.

Beautiful Hotel

This hotel is beautiful. My husband and I have just spent two weeks at this hotel. It is spotlesslessly clean, and the staff are wonderful - engaging, polite and happy to do anything for you.

The hotel is perfectly situated near the beach so there is a constant coastal breeze which helps to take the edge off the heat.

There are 3 restaurants - 1 a la carte specialising in Moroccan food, an Italian and International buffet style. There is plenty of food to suit all tastes but it what was really pleasing was it never felt over full and food is replenished constantly. Lots of fish and seafood, including sushi and oysters too !

The spa facilities were lovely and the back massage and reflexology treatments were bliss.

There are plenty of sunbeds and sofas, several pools and jacuzzi's so definitely no over crowding.

The lobby bakery is lovely for a mid morning coffee and cake stop.

Our only criticism is this hotel is billed as ultra all inclusive but international drinks came with an additional price tag - although we were offered a 10% discount !

Given the money spent on the booking, we wouldn't expect to pay anything more. Also, the need for plastic wristbands ??? Again, not expected of an ultra all inclusive hotel.

Would we return - absolutely !

This is not a five stars hotel!

I booked two rooms for our family holiday. One deluxe garden view and one swim up pool room with Ocean view. Unfortunately, we had issues with the rooms from the first day. The swim up pool is not a pool where you can swim. It is 40 cm if that and you can only cool your feet in it. Therefore the price difference is unjustified and the advertising of this room is deceiving to the public and needs to be amended. Rooms need updating and air conditioning does not always work. We had to call someone out to fix it three times for my son room and once for our room. Cleanliness is not great and should be improved. Although the cleaner for our room was super helpful and tried her best to make it please for our stay. The hotel overall is quite dirty, including the toilets in the main reception area, restaurants tables and floors outside of restaurants. Food is good but not always consistent. Some meals options are better than others. The Moroccan restaurant is great but you are limited to once a week only. The Italian restaurant is not Italian, I should know as I am Italian. The pools areas are good but again cleanliness and service needs improving. Towels also could be nicer. There is no private access to the beach which for me personally is a real let down. Be mindful of excursions as they are not through the hotel and there is no insurance! We met guests who got injured with quad bikes and the hotel was not taking any responsibility. You have to pay cash so there is no evidence.

We returned to Pickalbatros White Beach after a peaceful stay last year, drawn again by promises of “true serenity and privacy” and the chance to “unwind in our array of pools.” Sadly, this time was very different—same resort, much louder setting.

Mornings are calm and enjoyable. But by mid-afternoon, the volume rises to 75–80 decibels (yes, I measured), with high-energy music, booming announcements, and poolside activities. In the evening, after a brief lull, sound levels reach up to 100 dB and continue until midnight. Even in our room, with the doors closed, the bass was hard to escape.

If you're in your 20s or 30s and enjoy cocktails, dancing, and club-style music, you’ll probably love it. But if you’re looking for a quiet escape, it’s a challenge.

The rooms, food, and staff remain excellent, and Guest Relations was sympathetic to my concerns early in the two-week stay, but nothing changed. It feels like there’s a gap between the hotel’s branding and what guests actually experience.

White Beach is still beautiful, but it needs to decide: is it a tranquil retreat or a party resort?

Honestly would rate this hotel a 2/10 and wouldn’t recommend at all. It’s a 5 star all inclusive and pricey but lacks basic amenities in the room. Housekeeping would randomly walk into the room without knocking. On the first day the cleaner poured a whole bucket of water in the front of the door causing me to slip and hurt myself badly, the management did nothing even though it was a health and safety hazard, just told us to wait and changed our room. The food gave me food poisoning, entertainment was mid. Only good thing was it was close to the beach. Honestly save your money and don’t book this hotel, it’s definitely not 5 star, pushing it at 4.

This is not a 5-star hotel. While the grounds and the numerous pools are quite decent and could deserve such a rating, the interior is terrible. All the furniture is tasteless, uncomfortable, and looks like it was bought at a flea market. The so-called restaurants resemble a student cafeteria on a campus, and the food is nowhere near 5-star quality — barely reaching 4-star level, and even then, not every day. The alcohol is cheap. The evening entertainment is like something from a kindergarten — boring and unprofessional.

If this hotel claimed to be 4 stars and cut the price in half, then fine — it would be acceptable for that price. But forget about calling it 5 stars.

Although the staff are fantastic, this is not a 5* resort. Property is tired and pools/bathrooms need maintenance. Air conditioning in the rooms and gym is virtually non-existent. Although the food at the buffet is generally of good quality, the food court was very poor and the overall offering was not in line with a 5* hotel. Weird practices like needing a towel card for beach towels, despite the fact this is supposedly all inclusive. Beach bar very hit and miss when it comes to drinks and having appropriate glassware.

Not a 5 star! Customer Service very poor, food awful/not warm, soft and alcohol drinks are very cheap (the cocktails just look like squash). A la carte restaurant set menu no choice in a function room with a strange video playing on a large screen, food even worse. served on cracked plates. Lack of spoons. I was given a tiny wooden spoon. Drinks outside served in cracked plastic cups. Beach towels have holes in. Sun-beds are reserved with towels very early for the sea views and hardly used unfair for those who wish to use them all day. The hotel doesn’t enforce their own rules, people sat eating in restaurants wearing not appropriate beachwear. Lumpy pillows, bottom sheets don’t fit, two sheets used you could feel the edge under your body. Minibar (not cold), have to get ice from the hotel bars. No coffee machine, just a kettle. Soft drinks/toiletries not replenished you have to ask. No ironing board, iron, dressing gown or slippers. The hairdryer is awful very low power. Mould on shower ceiling. Sewage smell in bathroom. Spa very expensive and treatments are not even that good or as long as advertised beauticians not professional at all. Felt robbed. The only positive hotel kept very clean at all times and the view of the sunset and sea. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. This is a maybe a 3 star hotel it’s just views of the sea which are 5 star. Stayed for wedding anniversary see the cake in the room when we arrived…

Had an amazing stay at this all inclusive resort. It’s truly all inclusive with a variety of foods throughout the day. Delicious drinks and desserts. The views are spectacular and hotel is extremely clean and properly maintained. Easy and quick check in with Shaba and Yasine. All their staff are super kind and helpful. Waiters are super fun and entertaining especially during music/dance nights. Chef Hisham pleased us with his culinary expertise of moroccan dishes. Ali was very attentive and always made sure to serve his moroccan tea. I couldn’t recommend this resort enough. The hotel staff take pride in their work and their positive attitude made our stay very special and welcoming.

The Food options were great and the quality of service and attention from the team was brilliant. The facilities were just what I hoped for and the entertainment for the Christmas period was really well manged and to a very high standard, the Hotel and the team hosted the guests with a very well thought out entertainment and dinning experience. We spent great time at white beach resort … every minute was a 5 star quality. All the staff is super friendly helpful and lovely .
the bar boys are amazing , chatty, smiley and very happy people … positive vibes are everywhere …. They listen and enjoy sharing great moments with customers and have great chat too .. speedy and don’t make you wait 👍…
The animation team are great full of energy and positive vibes … we had great time with them arranging events , town walks, cooking demonstrations , quizzes and dance … absolutely lovely young people.
The food was delicious on every single day , high quality delicious cuisines and many varieties… never get bored … thanks to Chef Tariq Radi the hotel chef and his team for delivering an absolutely delicious meals.

. Staff were great, always happy and nothing too much problem.
The breakfasts and lunch were ok but the evening meal was very hit n miss.
the sun beds were very uncomfortable, you were either flat out or on a very shallow recline.
The biggest bug bear was the incredibly loud music and shouting from the entertainment staff at various points throughout the day.
Not conducive to having a relaxing time.

I have just come back from a 7 night stay here and it was such a great experience. The staff are wonderful, they are all so friendly and make you feel as if you have known them for years! As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a cold fresh juice drink and lunch whilst we waited for our room to be ready! The entertainment was great everyday you have something to do and it was so much fun! I looked forward to the entertainment every night! The food was also good, I am a bit of a picky eater so struggled a bit as there was not many English options but there were many options that you can choose from and the food is on a good quality! The rooms are nice and spacious, the only recommendation is that I wish they had larger bath towels and better toilet tissue but I enjoyed my stay in the rooms the beds were comfortable and it was so quiet at night time so I had a great nights sleep every night. The hotel have travel desks within where you can book experiences and excursions Nouri who sits at the desk is such a lovely man! He really looked after us during our stay and we books all of our trips out with him. He also has a lot of information on the culture and how to get around which is so helpful. Honestly, do not hesitate to book this place it was such a great time away and I will be returning!

This resort is amazing. It’s so very clean. Staff are really friendly and cannot do enough for you. Food is ok, my family has a few fussy eaters who stuck to the Italian restaurant most nights. Cocktails are plentiful and they will make whatever you want at the bar if you ask, although they did give us heart burn after too many!! Only downside was our air conditioning didn’t work in our room. We reported it at least 3 times but it was never fixed. My sons room next door was like an ice box. Luckily it wasn’t super hot at night so the ceiling fan did the job. Highly recommend this hotel. It’s beautiful!

The best hotel and all inclusive i have ever been to in 40 years.
Michelin star quality food.
Where else would you get fresh Oysters as a choice.
Also Swordfish and every conceivable Tagine on offer.
Amazing!!!

The hotel was great. The staff and housekeeping were very helpful. However, the employees in charge of activities were a bit odd. They only interact with guests if they receive a tip, and they seem to ask female guests for their social media and WhatsApp contacts in order to meet up with them at night. This behavior is unprofessional and needs to change.

The hotel was excellent, with friendly and helpful housekeeping and staff. However, the individuals responsible for organising activities come across as a little peculiar. They only engage with guests if they are tipped, and they seem to overly pursue female guests for their social media and WhatsApp contacts. I hope they can maintain professionalism and focus on their responsibilities.

Overall an excellent experience, staff helpful attentive, a special mention to Anya the housekeeper who kept our room spotless. Mohammad in the Italian restaurant, Massi in the outside terrace who runs this section faultlessly and finally Mustapha in the upstairs bar. A superb selection of food in the restaurants, everybody should be able to find something to eat. Just a couple of observations, the 220 rooms sold with a garden view, really do not have one just a service road and wall, think you need to be aware of this when booking. Plenty of sunbeds around the many pools, but people still reserve them with towels!.Feel that as the resort is selling as 5* the sunbeds should have cushions as after a while they do become a bit uncomfortable.

We loved the food this was a big thing for us when picking the place/ reading other reviews. Lots of options. Lots of nice tagines everyday for lunch and dinner- the only thing we would have loved to see is lamb as we love Moroccan style lamb. We had one evening in the al la carte Moroccan restaurant which was great. We had afternoon crepes at the beach bar which were made fresh by the lovely smiliest employee (I don’t know his name but he also made the fresh desserts in the evening too!)
I also read a previous review which said the all inclusive drinks were watered down- I didn’t think that was the case a good choice of cocktails (I’d recommend the mojitos!).
We loved the mint tea corner which was a great added touch.
The gardens were beautiful and well maintained, it was right on the beach so was easy for us to go surfing. There are lots of stray dogs next to the beach but they didn’t cause us any trouble- they are just quite intimidating when they are in their packs.
We payed extra for a ‘swim up room’ it was a nice 40cm Poole at the beach of the property but we honestly didn’t use it once.
Lots of sports onsite and the entertainment team was very persistent but great
Overall a great stay and we would definitely come back!

Such a fun and relaxing stay! Drinks flowed and food was great, loved sunbathing and the room was beautiful! We had an excellent time here during our stay. The hotel is just as described and pictured; it is clean, spacious and there is lots to do. The staff are all extremely friendly and polite. The entertainment team worked very hard and would come over and make conversation and remember you. A shout out too to Mustapha for keeping our room clean and tidy each day.
The only non 5* we have given is for the area because as soon as you step outside the back of the hotel or even if at the perimeter there are locals there trying to sell to you/ask for ‘gifts’; it felt safer to be inside the hotel. The other hotels further down the road did not seem to have this. Also the hotel app was not up to date with what the day and evening entertainment was which meant we missed activities.

Amazing stay at this hotel! Everything was so smooth from arrival all the way to check out. I booked transfers through the hotel beforehand and Zehra was always very prompt in responding through the chat messenger. Also thanks to the reception team for always answering our questions and requests. Special thanks to Mustapha in housekeeping for keeping our room spotless every day! Loved all the swimming pools and loungers around them; we often felt like the one we used was our own private pool as no one else was using it. Both rooms we had were very spacious and comfortable. The proximity to the local beaches was great and the sunsets beautiful. All the staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Particularly enjoyed sitting peacefully in the lobby area in the evenings and our A La carte meal in the Moroccan restaurant.
Now the few niggly things: there was inconsistency with how the tables were laid out with cutlery. Often no spoons and we’d end up taking the small, plastic coffee stirrers. There wasn’t a proper system in place for the tennis court. The other thing about the court was that it was really small and it didn’t have proper drainage. Therefore when we’d had a day of rain, there were still puddles of water everywhere on it the following day. However, we were very grateful for the staff who were sent to try and clear it. Smoking was permitted in the main bar area which was very unpleasant ; also the outside eating area had no designated area for smokers.

Considering this hotel was full, the lack of congestion around the resort makes it feel really special. The grounds are enormous so that no one is in each others way. We only stayed one night but had a really relaxing time. The staff were all super friendly and really went out of their way to make you feel welcome. The rooms are very modern and well appointed.

A very beautiful property. Staff in the pool area was exceptional. The only disappointing factor I had was that I could not have my daughter and new son-in-law come to the hotel to visit me in my room. They did make the exception for one hour and I was thankful for that.

A nice resort, property is very well maintained. Food was great but Azha restaurant was a disaster, avoid it, we ended up leaving after two bites of beef couscous, the worst ever I had in Morocco, but the other buffet option was great. A lot of pools and very nice open air jacuzzis with great sitting area. Check in was average, staff had no smiles, didn’t feel any welcoming atmosphere, however the cashier was full of life and made up for all the sad faces at the reception. Room was very comfortable with all you need in a room. Snack bar around swimming pools served chicken nuggets, macaroni, tuna and chicken sandwiches with so so quality. Overall a great experience, will definitely recommend.

The hotel with all the pools you could ask for was amazing. The Spa is a must so reasonable and they where very good. Had the full works well worth the money. The rooms was amazing I stayed in one with a pool. The beds super comfy and the shower amazing. Only let down was food choices not much really on offer which was a shame when you look how amazing the hotel was
