Bad!

Wasn’t expecting much of a luxury considering that I booked a basic room. However, there wasn’t anything at my stay that made the hotel a delight and to say the least a place to chill. Despite a good number of tourists the music by the pool was exclusively to the local taste. It seemed that the music choice was made to please the hotel staff not the visitors. They played loud music all day long with the exception of Friday where they did not play music whatsoever. Worse still, music was way too loud and cleaning staff had to communicate yelling across the hotel compound. It was so noisy and way too loud that I had to use ear plugs at my room so I can get some sleep. Restaurant was empty and despite advertising a diner menu, 4 members of staff at the front of house couldn’t deliver service. I ordered dinner and sat for over 30 minutes before standing up and cancelling my order. But, what made it worse and unacceptable is the hotel Wi-Fi that kept dropping and had to spend most of my time waiting for content to load. Absolutely terrible, I felt so miserable. I did complain to reception and all I got was shrugged shoulders.

Great value in central Agadir

Another return trip for us to the Tagadirt (our first stay was over 35 years ago, so it’s not new!) & enjoyed it as much as ever. The staff are lovely & always find us a quiet studio. Rooms are spacious, well maintained, lots of hot water and comfortable beds. The swimming pool is very relaxing & shielded from Atlantic winds in winter and the well tended gardens make this a great value stay in the centre of Agadir.

Very poor service the receptionist was rude , no door man nobody helps , the room was dirty smells terrible , towels very dirty dirty , toilet smells of drain, the bed wasn’t comfortable , no air conditioning no Hairdryer no soap Nooo tv it was so boring , the swimming pool was so dirty, the breakfast was a Disaster only Smelly eggs and old bread, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL please save your money and go somewhere Else. Booked 2 bed room, we had to go up multiple of stairs before getting to room and that was exhausting every time. Also, telephone in room does not work, don’t know why staff placed it there. No fridge in room even tho we were staying there 7days & weather was really hot so constantly buying water but having no way of keeping it cooled also Moroccan water is not drinkable so had to buy bottled water. When I explained to staff at reception, they said to pay extra 200 dirhams daily if I wanted a fridge in my room otherwise it’s not their problem I should of booked a bigger apartment with kitchen instead. Very poor quality everything at the hotel, would NOT recommend it at all!

I booked a room for a week. The toilet did not work on the Friday, brown tap water on the Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday I had no hot water and the lady at réception was argumentative and rude and very reluctant to assist me in moving to another room. I was unable to take a shower for 3 days.
This most definatly is not a 3 star hotel. No TV or fridge in room. Approximately 12 sun loungers for the whole hotel so if you want to leave your room to lay by the pool youd have difficulty finding a lounger. I was unable to get to the pool until 4 days after I arrived. The lady who cooks the breakfast uses her fingers to touch the food and the food is generally uncovered.
If you just want an uncomfortable bed for one night then this is the hotel for you any longer and the highlight of your week will be whether you were able to get hot water shower.
Apparently the hotel is well aware of the issues(according to the one decent member of staff) but don't care.
If this is the type of hotel that you are recommending, I would be very reluctant to use you again. I deserve a refund and a medal for endurance

URGENTLY NEEDS RENOVATION — Poor equipment in room

Overall poor condition on the hotel in general. Staff were hard work trying to avoid any question or even try to be helpful. Only positive was location and to some extent breakfast if I am allowed to considerate or polite. Definitely needs urgent renovation. Toilets & baths old with taps rusted. It’s a shame but as it’s in wonderful location. As others out there with similar prices nearby and in much much better condition. We cancelled our second leg of journey after this experience and gone elsewhere.

I like it was near the beach other than that the facility was filthy, house leaning service was terrible. Had to switch rooms 3 times in the 7 days we were there. First room had no power, shower stall did not work and was filthy. 2nd room, has leak and carbon monoxide smell and dirty linens and towels. The hotel did not provide toiletries for daily use. Bed sheets and towels were not replaced on a daily basis even when it was set aside for cleaning. Breakfast menu was the same for 7 days all eggs and bread. The eggs were rotten and the chef had to throw a lot away when it was prepared. The bread was very stale and old. Dinner was leftovers from lunch. Same pasta, potatoes, water down tomatoe sauce. If they served fish, the same fish would be served 4 days straight in a row then they would take the fish and bread and fry it. It beef was serve they reuse it the next day and add extra sauce in it. The food was horrendous even the staff commented about the lack of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation that this hotel has. As soon as a person check out the room was immediately available for vacancy, we know this because we witness the rooms near us first hand. There is only a total of 3 house cleaners and when they come to the room there’s never any cleaning tools or detergent only there empty hands and eyes as visual. This is by far the first and only filthiest, unprofessional , and I compassionate hotel I have ever stayed at.

Very nice hotel and the staff in the reception was very friendly and service minded.

There's some wifi in the reception, but nowhere else.

Less good was that didn't clean the room under our entire stay and the service was very slow, we never received a towel for the 3de person even though we asked twice a day.

But overall it's a good place to stay!

Good location, stayed in a beautifier studio, spacious , clean with all facilities. But there is no TV and no WIFI. Even the wifi in the reception was not reliable and most of the time failing. which is a pity. I could not book my next accommodation and access Internet. There was no heating in the room either so it was cold. The Reception are dismissive rather than responsive. It is a pity., The hotel is big and has nice rooms and apartments with good wifi and some more improvement and positive staff could be an ideal place for tourists. However its many stairs and zigzags make it unsuitable for the elderly and disabled.

Mediocre hotel close to the beach

We booked on expedia, and when we got to the hotel, they could not find our booking. They asked me for a deposit until they can figure it out the next day, and when I refused, everything was ok.... Hotel was stuffy and very NOISY. No A/C in the rooms, and breakfast was the worst. Also no parking, I had to park my car on the street about a quarter of a mile from the hotel!

When we got to the hotel we were checked in happily but slowly and taken to our room, as we left our room to explore agadir the woman on reception said there had been a problem with our room and hotels.com had cancelled saying we had to pay a different rate (£50 more) we argued for a while saying they should honour the rate we booked at but she was having none of it. We were meant to pay €175 but ended up paying €225 plus €15.65 tax. This annoyed me greatly but I decided not to let it ruin my first day. The room was simple, comfortable, quiet and clean! The pool area was quiet and a good sun spot with little kittens running around! We never ate at the hotel. But a woman constantly knocked on our door from the hotel asking us about trips, we ended booking one to get her to leave us alone but the night before I fell ill, she then knocked on our door at 9am shouting at my boyfriend and demanding the money saying she will come back later with some more people to get it (she never did) again another annoying person that again I didn't let spoil my time. The maids and one of the bellboys were so lovely and warm but I feel all the other staff were rude and cold. And on the last day the woman on reception demanded more money for the room only 40Dh but even so the cheek of it. Overall I enjoyed my stay but the service was left to be improved.

Very nice place. We were a family of four in a 2 bed apartment which was cleaned with new towels provided every day, staff are very friendly, we had a leakage one night, it was fixed in no time. Entertainment for kids every night was a bonus, I have been to agadir before but this time I have enjoyed my stay very much thanks to this hotel's great location. This place could do with a makeover but I still recommend it especially to big families and I would love to go there again.

Very nice hotel next to the beach

The hotel is in an ideal spot close to the busy part of the beach near to the food court on the beach promenade.
The hotel offers wifi but our room had some difficulty picking.up the signal so i had to step outside.
The room was clean when we checked in. We did not allow any room cleaning until a few days after and when it was cleaned it was really well done.considering the mess we had made.
There was hot runnimg water and only on one occassion the hot water had stopped due to some issue throughout the whole complex which was resolved on the sameday.
We were checked in and checked out without any issues at all. We were asked to pay the city tax when we checked in. If you meed to exchange.yoir money there is the beureau de change directly outside the hotel which has the best rate we had seen anywhere in Agadir. There was live music one night and the lounge tv is either showing football or Morrocan music channel. There was no tv in our room.
We did not have breakfast with our booking or used the bar.
Overall really good hotel for a very.good price.

Location was excellent easy walk to beach and marina, hotel very tired but fine for the price as nice bug apartment with big balcony, apartment has basic cooking facilities, water pours all over the floor when you shower and runs everywhere into kitchen and they don't leave a mop in room very dangerous with small children, one bed smelt badly of mould had to change all linen but could still smell the damp smell. Nice pool. Staff slack on check in didn't have reservation and wanted me to go to an Internet cafe and print booking.

Unbelievable HOTEL EMPLOYEES

If I could go back and book another hotel after spending 1500 on a plane ticket and spending 2000 dollars in morocco I would. Hotel was awesome up to the end the lack of places to eat and repetitive foods was pretty bad. Absolutely horrible service as an employee thought I didn't speak arabic the employee cursed me out in arabic and as I came to speak up about it an argument started and the employee hit me and the person whom owned the hotel was standing there and begged me to leave after doing absolutely nothing and had the nerves to charging me money to pay for a broken glass. -Hotel is a 3-4 star by the looks of it. Don't be fooled pay a little more and you ca stay at a way nicer place.

Low price hotel in Agadir

Don't expect much from this hotel. It was built in the 90s and has never been remodeled. Everything looks worn out. Some rooms are noisy from the local bars, where music plays till 3 or 4 am. Try to get a room on the inside. On the positive note: the hotel is in a good location, close to the beach and restaurants. It offers rooms, studios, as well as apartments with kitchens, which is convenient if you travel with family.

NOT for the aged or infirm, but OK for insomniacs!

If you want to improve your leg muscles, this is the hotel for you - steps and stairs everywhere with not a lift in sight - definitely not suitable for physically impaired or elderly persons. Hotel is built on a sloping site, hence the \"maze\" effect. Pool area barely adequate with restricted sun to all areas, Very loud disco music from basement nightclub every night between 2230 hours to 0130hours, which reverberates through the whole of the hotel premises - so loud you cannot expect any sleep, even with a good set of ear-plugs - totally unacceptable and the staff seem unconcerned about clients inability to sleep during nightclub hours. Would not recommend this hotel and certainly would not go back

\"Do not stay here unless you have no choice\".

I was extremely disappointed with this hotel. I was really looking forward to my stay there but was extremely disappointed. I checked into my room and found that the only only furniture present in the room was a double bed and a single chair, literally nothing else. There was no air conditioning and the entire hotel smelt like a dirty wet towel. The lounge and the pool area were always crowded with local teenagers who I think were not even staying at the hotel. I checked out of the hotel earlier than my check out date and moved in with a friend.

Great Hotel if you dont expect too much!

Just back from a weeks stay at the Tagadirt, and I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel (after the absolute bargain price we paid for it).

Clearly I went there not expecting a palace so what we got was great! The rooms lovely and big, clean and all the facilities you'd expect. The style is a little dated and maybe a little rough around the edges in places but if I wanted luxury i'd have paid for it!

Location was perfect, close to all the restaurants and the beach, right on the main street!

Overall this is a great little place, nothing to complain about from me. If you go there expecting some kind of upmarket contemporary hotel then of course you will be disappointed, but for the price we paid and what we got in return, I can find a single fault!

A friendly hotel with welcoming staff. Clean but basic rooms ideal for a stay on a budget.
Noisy road outside with constant traffic- not ideal for small children sleeping- ask for a back room to avoid this.
Clean pool and surroundings, many cats!!!
Will return to this setting again and have already recommended it to others.

First of all i really liked the look of hotel it was huge and nice style, it looks more european to me than african maybe that's why i liked it. Secondly i like location of that hotel cause its very close to Atlantic Ocean, the views and night life there was great,I would deffinately like to come back there :) .

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in, im a world traveler

I have traveled all over the world and this is the worst hotel I have EVER STAYED IN!
The employees at the hotel have no customer service skills whatsoever! They were also racist, and I was assulted by one of the guards men that worked at the back entrance of the hotel towards the beach because I wanted to go and call the police after watching him attack a senior citizen. Then when I went to get the receptionist at the hotel he came down and started pulling on the woman and her suitcase not even asking what was going on...etc-even tho a lot of foreigners visit this hotel they have no respect for women.
The hotel room was not very clean, especially the floor and they do not change your sheets daily nor your towels. The breakfast is awful nothing but bread and egg, coffee, and watered down juice, and half way cooked pancake, and salad with too much onion. Just Awful. Also, it was advertised on Expedia ( the agency that I booked my hotel through) that if you did not want the breakfast buffet the room came with a continental breakfast for free-not true at all. Also, the hotel kept harrassing me every morning to ask me did I pay for this and that...pay for what extra things, there were not peanuts or drinks in the room! Crazy and worse experience ever! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

The hotel must have been up to date in the 1970s. We did a reservation over 3 nights and left the hotel after 2. We spent the first night in the worst hotel room I have ever been in. There was no sunlight coming into the room and mold everywhere. The smell was disgusting. We ran immediately to the reception desk to get a room change. Next to us was a man who had the same problems. We were told that there were no rooms to change in and that we had to come back the next morning. The guy at the desk also told me that I can be glad not to have gotten one of those basement appartements. Well anyway we slept in our room. Since the beds felt like they were wet from the inside we took towels which we laid over the sheets. The next day after the worst breakfast we got our room changed. It was a liitle better than our other one. In the end we still decided to look for another hotel. Especially also because of the pool. It was almost impossible to see the ground since the water was so murky.

TAGADIRT APART HOTEL IN AGADIR, MOROCCO

Basic clean hotel near to everything, 5 min walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. Lots of steep steps down to the beach wouldnt suit someone who had difficulty walking.

A great base for us as was so convenient for everything. If you go for the standard room it is what its says bed, warbrobe and basic ensuite shower. No tea making facilities here so just check what you actually want in the room and you should be ok

Même gratuit j’y retourne pas! Cafard… saleté… la piscine est une grande mare remplie de javel. Le petit déjeuné : pain rassis, jus d’orange chaud, beurre fondu.
Tout part en lambeau. Toilette cassés. Baignoire qui sent l’urine mélangé aux cheveux d’une vingtaine de personne. Idéal pour la fabrication d’une perruque. Une serviette pour 4. 2 lits pour 4. Pas de wifi. Porte qui ferme pas. Cafard gros comme des chats. Une odeur de friture constante. Personnel à l’accueil qui sent le Ricard. Depuis le coup de boule de Zidane c’est la pire expérience de ma vie.

During our stay there were construction works at the hotel. In the morning it started already before 8 AM. Laying in the sun at the swimmingpool was with the noice of the construction workers and the workers walked with building equipment in the swimming pool area. When we booked we were not informed about this. We booked 2 weeks before.

Appartement assez vieux la cuisine est inutilisable (équipement désuet et non fonctionnel ... )
Cependant, si on utilise comme chambre c est assez grand.
Les services sont à revoir (serviette de bain troué, pas de savon.....)

Établissement ancien très sale pas de draps propre j’ai dû demander à la femme de ménage moi même de passer faire le ménage pas d’eau chaude la lumière de la salle ne fonctionne pas je signale tout les jours on me dit que le technicien va passer je pense qu’il y’en a pas ne vous faites pas avoir par le prix attractif il n’y a aucun confort et pourtant j’étais tout seul un vrais cauchemar

L’établissement est completement délabré et dangereux. J’ai du changer 3 fois de chambre. La 2e fois j’ai tiré la chasse d’eau et une fuite s’est déclenchée….

À notre arrivée à 17h chambre pas faite visite de 2 chambres pire que la nôtre avec énormément d’escaliers à monter et descendre ensuite piscine trop de chlore et petit déjeuner beaucoup de monde difficile de trouver une place donc à part les dame d’entretien qui font un super travail et le monsieur à l’entrée qui nous a permis des excursions à bon prix les chambres sont à rénover même la piscine tout mérite un coup de propre

Bella struttura ben posizionata, ma pessimo servizio. Né sapone né asciugamani in stanza (richiesti per almeno tre volte), assenza di climatizzatore, non c'è il servizio lavanderia citato nella descrizione. Ho dovuto dormire con la porta aperta perché la serratura era difettosa e la chiave non chiudeva. Colazione molto scarsa.

Séjours avec les enfants, notre arrivée n'était pas préparée, les appartements son délabrés, on a dû déménager à 2 reprise. Rien n'y fontionne ( chasse d'eau cassée, pas d'électricité dans la Sdb, plaque électrique hs...).
Le personnel es dépassé face aux plaintes multiples de mécontents...
Séjours a oublier.
Je vous déconseille cet hôtel si vous voulez passer des vacances reposantes!

Heizung ging entweder gar nicht oder ließ sich nicht mehr ausschalten.

Die Anlage ist absolut runtergekommen. Das Badezimmer war an der Grenze zur Unerträglichkeit. Das angebotene Frühstück eine Frechheit, der Kaffee absolut ungenießbar.

Das Hotel ist sehr hellhörig, man hört jegliche Körpergeräusche seiner Nachbarn.

Außerdem wird man bis spät in die nicht mit unterschiedlichster Musik aus einer nahegelegenen Passage beschallt.

Jól éreztük magunkat,köszönjük.

Kedves ,segítőkész személyzet reggelinél sok zöldség,omlett,tükörtojás,párizsi,túró,vaj,.péksütemény,kávé,tea,tej,gyüm.lé,viszont egy hét alatt nem volt sajt.Vacsoránál két húsos fő étel,párolt zöldségek,stb,viszont nem volt egyszer sem rizs.Ettől függetlenül bőséges volt a kínálat..Egy hét alatt egyszer volt igazi meleg víz,egyébként csak langyos.

hätte gern eine Antwort, wie das möglich sein kann

Die Buchungbestätigung wurde an der Rezeption nicht akzeptiert. Angeblich wurde mein Name nicht per Mail nicht weitergeleitet. Das Hotel hat dann einen höheren Preis verlangt, obwohl eine Buchungsbestätigung vorgezeigt wurde und das Hotel fast leer war...

Les matelats ne sont pas confortablez du tout, si tu fais une douche tu es clairement visible de l'exterieur via une grande fenêtre totalement en verre
Pas assez d'intimité surtout en famille
La piscine n'est pas propre et entretenue systematiquement
Le petit déjeuner est très pauvre en choix
Jamais je reviendrais je suis vraiment très déçu

Personnel zeer slecht. Man bij de receptie praat zo arrogant.
We moesten om 14 uur inschenken. Om 18 uur nog steeds niet kunnen naar de kamer. Moest nog schoongemaakt worden.
We hebben 2 kamers met ontbijt en diner geboekt.bij receptie ze zeggen dat we geen ontbijt en diner kunnen krijgen. Paar keer geprobeerd te vertellen dat het niet waar. Eindelijk zegt die man bij de receptie ja ja jullie hebben wel ontbijt en diner en heeft geen excuses aangeboden.
Echt heel slecht hotel. Eten is smerig ook.
