Wonderful family hotel; however, it's lacking in simple things like a coffee station in the lobby for parents to relax while children play. Not everyone wants to drink alcohol, and to say it's a Muslim country, this was disappointing. The only food options in the hotel are by the pool and hotel restaurants. Restaurants were not open all day, so that was a no. The poolside restaurant options were not great. This hotel doesn't cater to gluten-free allergies. However, if you bring your own bread, wraps, etc., they were accommodating with making the food. Its a good hotel for young families and the slides make the entire trip worth it for the children.

The hotel is very dated. I think it was splendid back in the day but needs an upgrade. Food was ok, sometimes not hot enough. Premium drinks are extra. Gym is fine but only available for free between 9:30 and 1200. Ice cream by pool is extra. I probably wouldn’t return. Was not a nightmare but I was a little disappointed.

Check in was extremely slow, we arrived at 11am and were allowed to use the facilities straight away while we waited for our room to be ready. We were told to come at 2pm to get the room key, however the room wasnt given to us until 4pm and not without a lot of back and forth to keep coming and checking for updates. Not ideal after a long flight and very exhausting but the rest of the stay was great. Breakfast is quite limited and repetitive, some of the fruits were definitely not fresh and tasted off. Staff was very helpful and friendly and spa and pools were amazing. Perfect for a family holiday with young kids.

I’ve never written a bad review before, I’ve travelled to almost 30 countries in the world, and I have never had such an upsetting experience, so I feel like I have to speak up.

My group included 3 people and a toddler. We arrived exhausted after a long day of travelling. The stay we paid for was supposed to include lunch, which was clearly stated on our booking and receipt, and confirmed by the booking company.

But when we arrived, we were flatly denied the lunch. We were met with coldness, unhelpfulness, and even laughter from the reception staff—who smirked as we tried to show them our proof that we had paid for lunch to be included. It was humiliating and deeply frustrating, especially given the needs of our group, a visibly pregnant lady and a child who needed to eat were denied food they had paid for.

When we asked for our room key to at least rest, we were told it wasn’t ready. We ended up waiting in the lobby for over 2.5 hours with no help, no food, no room, and no compassion.

We were told to initially wait to speak to the Manager - Nour/Nora, however when she arrived we were told she wouldn’t speak with us. At that point, I gave up—not because I was wrong, but because I didn’t want this hotel’s lack of care to ruin our entire holiday. So we went the entire trip paying for lunch. The reason we booked this hotel was for the food to be provided to us for ease for our pregnant sister and toddler.

Dated hotel. Carpets filthy inside of hotel. More 3* than 4*. Breakfast very mediocre did not feel fresh, best part was bread and butter. Machine gives hot chocolate in place of cappuccino. Good coffee at breakfast is a must. Cleaners did great work on the rooms. Lengthy walk to marina (40 minutes). Beautiful view from balcony was the best part. If not all inclusive drinks very expensive £7 for a small beer. Scent being continuously pumped into hotel very overwhelming.

I had such a bad experience at Amadil.
Noura is the worse staff and disrespectful.
Upon arrival, I was told to wait until 2 pm for the room to be ready and asked to pay for the local tax straight away. Then at 2 pm, Noura told us that we going to stay at the hotel Dunes d'or Ocean Club next door as Amadil is overbooked. I explained I booked well in advance and checked in online 2 days ago without any communication of any move. I told her that I did not want to move as I would have paid less if I booked with dunes d'or in the first instant. She promised that she will compensate the different in the price and the distress by giving us a free massage and dinner at the hotel as complimentary. She stated that the manager at dunes d'or will do the necessary as she instructed her. We were forced to walk to dunes d'or with our suitcase on the road without any staff assistance. Upon arriving at the dunes d'or, the managed said that Noura has not agreed anything and when I called Noura she refused to talk, said to whatapp her and even cut the call. The manager of dunes d'or told us that she will give us seaview room for our trouble but I reminded her that paid seaview already for the booking at Amadil. The following day the manager called Noura to discuss for any complementary message or dinner as she agreed that we should have been compensated for the price difference. However Noura refused to honor her words and refused to give us any support or complementary service.

Watch out with this hotel - on their main page it states airport transfers. When you click in and check further down it states that this is chargeable. We were only there 3 nights - 2 of those nights the shower was so cold I couldnt stand under it. Contacted reception who knew of the problem and were working on it. With regards to the airport transfer - I was on online chat with hotels.com on day 2 - they were going to contact me on day 3......still waiting to hear from them - poor service

Reception staff are okay 1 girl was rude

We only had breakfast included we went 2 out of 6 days as it just has really basic stuff like tea bread and egg dishes

Rooms feel really out dated and not clean as you enter the room firsts time it stinks the pillows stink the curtains the towels everything

Upside about this hotel great location great fun with the pool and slides and a lot of activities for the kids

Price wise only book if you finding it cheaper and want access to the beach easily with good pool

A highly recommendable place to stay!

My wife and I spent 3 nights in this wonderful hotel.
Nearly everything was excellent:
The rooms: clean and modern with all en-suite facilities.
The location: facing and next to the beach, and not too far from other shops.
The food: marvellous! With a full and varied menu.
Staff: friendly and helpful.
The hotel was also good value for money.
The only downside was that we had a heavy smoker in the bedroom next to us, so we couldn't sit outside on the balcony and appreciate any fresh sea air!

Honestly, I have been to Morocco a number of times and I can honestly say as a family trip here this was a shocking experience. This whole trip was let down by the hotel and facilities. They have bed bugs, and the place is really unclean. They moved us after one day as they said our room was not ready when we arrived and put us in a floor and room which did not have any working taps, blocked toilet and was very unclean. I don’t leave reviews, I have been to over 20 countries and me and my wife was appalled by the whole experience. It’s on the strip of the beach but apart from that it’s a really bad experience in terms of stay, staff are really bad and need training and the food is awful.

Basic hotel, wouldn't recommend. Some staff bad!

The hotel is a 3star at best and in need of some serious TLC. It's a shame because it could have great potential with the beachfront location but there is a clear lack of guidance/training from management and some staff do not want to be there!!! Some bar staff also do not have a clue...we got a margarita one night and it was pure lemon juice(not lime) and tequila with no conitreau, it was so strong and gross i couldn't drink it, see pic. We had a sea view room which was nice but our balcony door did not lock, we got maintenance to fix this but it broke again - the courtesy room balcony door was also broke so i think they are all just needing replacement. The beds are comfy and clean but the floors in the rooms and especially the bathrooms always seemed dirty(like you could see on the towels the dirt coming off the floors) so they aren't being mopped properly.
We only went B&B thankfully as the buffet breakfast is chaotic and has no structure, very little fruit or options other than sweet breads/pastries, there also wasn't enough seating in the restaurant.
Most of the staff are so lovely and helpful but we witnessed one extremely rude encounter with a woman called \"Nora\" from guest services. The way she spoke to two English guests in front of us was the worst manners i have ever seen from someone working in hospitality, she was disgraceful and should not work in the industry!
If you want good restaurants walk 10 mins up the promenade to O'Playa, Jade and El toro.

Property is very worn & in need of a refurb. When we first arrived we thought it’s a 3 star hotel but as the week went on it got worse & worse.

There are 3 lifts in the hotel & 1 did not work our entire stay. The other 2 worked intermittently & on 2 days none of the 3 worked.

Breakfast was ok but the omelette station & msemmen station were understaffed. So there would always be a queue & the bigger the queue got, the smaller the portions got & the staff would get irritated if you asked for 2 portions.

The staff were very rude & seemed lazy or that they just didn’t care. On arrival I saw a member of staff at reception say to a guest “I don’t have time for you right now” in quite an abrupt manner & just left him standing there bemused. One morning at breakfast, a waiting staff was asked by a guest for cutlery & they picked dirty cutlery up from a table that had not been cleared, wiped it with a dry cloth & hand it off to them. All in plain sight. The guest saw & was furious but the member of staff insisted he didn’t & then threw his arms in the air & walked off.

The hotel offers currency exchange & the rates seem reasonable that they put up on the boards. However every morning I asked, I was either told “come back in the afternoon” or “we don’t have cash now” or “we’re too busy at the moment.” i gave up after going to them twice a day for my first 3 days trying to exchange money.

I would not stay at this place again under any circumstance.

On my confirmation it was written free lynch and free dinner, but at the hotel upon check-in they told me that we could only have free breakfast and free dinner. Before booking the hotel, I called Orbitz and spoke with a representative who told me that breakfast is included in the price, and if I add Lynch and Dinner, then we will have 3 meals a day. But as a result, we only had 2 x one meal.

The woman at the reception was short with me. When I arrived at my room, immediately had issues: food stuck on the mirror, mini fridge had multiple hairs in it, shower stall had black mold all along the trim and balcony door DID NOT LOCK. I returned to reception. The same woman saw me and said, what is wrong? I said, you want me to say right now? She said yes and so I told her. She proceeded to say, we will check the room and I said, you mean, you do not believe me? I have been in the room 5 minutes. I choose to walk away instead of argue with her. Later, a supervisor arrived with housekeepers. She said she would clean the room. While my Moroccan Arablic is not perfect, one of the housekeepers said someone stayed in the room and hadn't been cleaned. I demanded to have a new room assigned. I was EXHAUSTED and needed to rest. She said the woman at the reception would not let me change rooms and that she thought I had made the room messy. What choice did I have at this point? I took a deep breathe and stepped away while the room was cleaned over the following 30-40 minutes. The housekeepers did their best. The door was never fixed and as a woman traveling by myself, I spent the night nervous someone would come into the room. I was unable to rest and this stay was an utter disaster. WOULD NEVER RETURN.

first time staying at Atlas Amadil and I will continue to stay here.

I love the layout of the property, it's big and has all the amenities you would expect. The pool area is well maintained and has great accommodations for kids.

Our room was wonderful, We had a relaxing view on the ocean on the first floor, sunsets were so splendid to watch from the comfort of my terrace.

The front desk really shined in our stay. We would like to thank everyone for their efforts and help, a special thank you note goes to Hanane and her supervisor who went above and beyond.

Overall we find our experience very pleasant and we're looking forward to come back.

The hotel is nice and fairly clean and has good amenities but the food (breakfast/lunch/dinner) are really terrible and not worth the money. Also, somedays the room service takes a longtime to even answer the phone, let alone bring you what you want.

All in all, if your are lookig for a decent hotel on the beach for the a good price you can't go wrong with this hotel but when it comes to food and service, its not so good.

Cons: 2 of the lights were not working, balcony view was not great on the second floor, had no toilet water spray (bear in mind this is a 4* hotel so I found that shocking), toilet seat was also a bit out of place but still useable, sink is quite low and not deep so difficult to wash face without getting water on to the floor..

A great location and a facility, however I was asked to pay hotel reception 1000 dirham in cash to change my two reserved room to a better view instead of no view at all looking at concrete.

Pool area and water slides very good, pool attendants always accommodating. front desk service poor, very noisy in the evenings, not suitable if you want to an early nights sleep of have young children. Breakfast options terrible.

service levels are poor to non existent, there is no customers service, reception staff are rude and blatantly ignore you, they speak English fine but when you ask them a question they will start talking with you then walk away, rooms are dirty, they provided us with a room but changed it 4 times in 24 hours the final room we were given the previous guests were leaving the room and we were told this was the only room available for us which was in a complete state of shock. we were ask to pay extra for sea view but were given a room which you could only see the restaurant roof and the side wall of the hotel, they said take it or leave it but refused to refund our money to find another hotel. absolutely disgraceful experience. never go here again....!!

M'y family travelled a long way to escape the harsh Canadian Winter, and soak up the Moroccan sun. However, sadly our experience had been very very bad during our week stay at Amadil hotel. We were extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with the food buffet and a la carte restaurants (except for Far Fez)
Went with my wife and 2 kids (7 and 3 years old). The food situation at the buffet was shocking because it lacked protein, and was loaded with low low quality ingredients, even the tiny desert section had tons of flies over the oranges and apples....
My wife and kid got food poisoning from the buffet on day #2 , we had to go out and eat outside most meals.... Which is unacceptable for what's we paid $200 /night.
Even the coffee machines were broken half of the time....
Regarding a la carte restaurant they are to be avoided at all costs, the servers are absolutely useless, and the food coming out of the kitchen is absolutely un-atable...no seasing, no flavours whatover, and it came to our table cold as ice!!!
I was surprised to see many people lighting up cigarettes everywhere in the hotel, I mean this is 2019, you would think that the hotel would disignate smoking areas out of respect for the non smokers....,but I hated that my young kids had to inhale the smoke everywhere in the hotel premisses....and that was totally ok by hotel management!

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone... Look out elsewhere in Agadir for a fun, enjoyable family vacation.

The place was great for food etc however our room was not a king bed , it was two single beds put together. Toilet stank of sewage when ever we took a shower.

They did not have duty maneger and we have complained four times but they were keep on saying sorry No maneger.
How can you have a hotel with no duty manager for four days ?
There is no safty in that hotel, bed sheets are dirty, it took three hours to get them change the bed sheets.

Stay in Agadir - Atlas Amadil

Pros: good location, comfortable bed, car park and nice sea view room (we paid extra for this)

Negatives: Lot’s of work to be done. Safe could be used for additional charge (unheard of), mini bar empty and dirty (disgusting red stains), dusty room, balcony door didn’t close (had to call someone to repair), found cockroach in room, tv with no tv remote (again unheard of), very loud music every single evening.

What shocked us the most however was the following: on my last day with the resort I woke up with severe food poisoning (not due to food I ate at hotel), my partner was desperately trying to find me medication and went downstairs to explain the situation to reception. As we were due to check out that day he asked if we could have the room for a couple more hours as I was unable to move. The lady at reception showed zero empathy and kept asking ‘what time exactly will you check out’, which of course we were unable to answer under said circumstances. We were informed that every additional hour post check out would be charged at 100 Moroccan dirhams an hour. We were forced to leave. We were left fuming and disappointed. A bad situation was made even worse. So much for Moroccan hospitality...

Ok hotel on the beachfront, 20 -30 minute walk to agadir marina. Room was clean, hotel shop is outrageously expensive. Nice outdoor swimming pool.

Great hotel, poor food

Stayed for 4 nights, extremely clean and the hotels decor was lovely. We didn’t go all inclusive but we were repeatedly asked why not by various staff members who were sometimes a little too attentive in my opinion. Beware if not going all inclusive that the buffet is 200 dirham per person which is no way worth it in fact the food there was a massive let down. The surrounding area doesn’t offer much although you can easily take a stroll along the beach whenever you like.

Nice Hotel but let down by small things

I found damage on furniture, the balcony was unuseable when it rained due to leaking water causing puddles and the same within the hotel. the wifi was hit and miss, the outdoor pools were not heated so unuseable in the cold weather.

i was also confused by the naming, it is atlas beach hotel on the hotel, and labranda beach on expedia.

the hotel wasn't frequented by many british people and this caused some problems as not all the staff spoke english, including a misunderstanding with the cleaner when we asked for an extra towel and asked to ensure the door is locked(as the day before the door was left open by one of the cleaners).

The beach was right on the door step of the hotel which was great though and generally speaking the hotel was nice including the breakfast. friends and family were impressed by the pictures and our daughter loved the water fountain features in the hotel lobby
