The location is excellent and very close to most activities. However, the pictures of the hotel are not very accurate—the rooms are smaller than they appear online.

I had a truly relaxing stay at Plaka Arch Suites and couldn’t have asked for a better location. The hotel is extremely close to the Acropolis and all the main attractions, making it easy to explore everything on foot — yet it’s tucked away just enough to remain peaceful and quiet.
Even though I arrived in the middle of the night and left very early in the morning, everything was handled seamlessly. Transportation was arranged for me, and the check-in process was smooth and stress-free, which I really appreciated after a long journey.
The room was spotless and thoughtfully equipped with many amenities that made my stay comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful, with a great selection to start the day. The cleaning and kitchen staff were especially helpful and courteous throughout my stay.
Overall, a fantastic experience — comfortable, convenient, and welcoming. I would gladly stay here again.

We could not have picked a better hotel and location! The manager at the hotel was wonderful and very accommodating and totally took care of us as far as where to go and what to do and then took care of our transportation to the airport on the last day. The area was outstanding as it was an easy walk in any direction to get to restaurants and shopping and also you are right at the base of the acropolis. When we go back, we will definitely stay at the same place.

Communication was top-notch the entire time, and he even helped us organize a ride to the cruise port on a day when there was a national strike. He also facilitated the return of a very sentimental item that we had left at the hotel. Truly an exceptional host that went above and beyond!

The Excelsior Terrace Dream Suite wonderful -- was just as advertised, but note that the terrace is on the roof top up a set spiral stairs. It was great and fairly secluded, and not difficult to access, as long as you can handle stairs. The hotel is in easy walking distance to shops and restaurants, but on the edge of that busy district, so not as loud a neighborhood as those more central to nightlife.

The location of this property was great, close to the acropolis, shopping, and restaurants. The room was very clean and included lots of little extras like bottled waters, a travel toothbrush, etc. The breakfast in the morning could use some attention… it runs from 7:30am to 10:30 and when we attended it near 10am many of the items had spoiled but were still out. It wasn’t a big deal to us and we just ate the fresh fruit and went in with our day. Would definitely stay here again.

The building is older and you could not flush the toilet paper into toilet, but had to toss in a very small garbage can provided. The picture of the rooftop view w/seating and tables were not accessible to all the hotel rooms. Access was only allowed from one of the rooms. I found that to be deceitful. Overall, The location and the breakfast buffet was great. The room was spacious and the staff very helpful and friendly.

We got help with our baggage, a tour of the room, an overview of the area and some great restaurant recommendations. The breakfast was great, and the staff were extremely friendly. It’s right in the middle of the action, just minutes on foot to the Acropolis and Hadrian’s Arch, and Syntagma, and Anafiotika, and basically anywhere else you might want to go. We splurged on the Excelsior Terrace Dream Suite, which had plenty of room for the three of us—and a newly renovated bathroom with TWO showers!—and the private rooftop deck with hot tub and view of the Acropolis is divine! Breakfast is served in the courtyard and there is a buffet, plus hot breakfast made to order. To top it all off, the staff were lovely. Highly recommended!

The room was absolutely perfect and having the little staircase outside of our room to head to the roof to relax in the hot tub (with a breathtaking view of the Acropolis was fantastic!). We stayed in the suite with the roof top and hot tub. It was fine - not a luxury place you would bring other people to see. The place is worn with \"older updates\" that appear to have been performed by a novice...\"cloppy\" plank flooring, entry level tile and fixtures that were poorly installed. Shower head/bar is loose, light fixtures are loose, light switches behind the TV, missing towel bars and crooked towel bars, mold on the ceiling (because the bathroom is not vented, except by a window). The service is great, communication is great. Not a luxury suite.

This is a wonderful little hotel located in a perfect area, within walking distance to the Acropolis and other historical sites, museums, shopping and restaurants.
