Nothing fancy but great service
Nothing fancy, the beds could be more comfortable. The service and breakfast were more than fantastic. It’s a bit of a walk to city centre but a pleasant one and makes for a more quiet stay.

Comfortable room for our family of four with two teenagers. Very clean and quiet. Wonderful breakfast. Shout out to the Middle Eastern restaurant down the street — we did takeout on a Sunday night and it was delicious.

The hotel is located about a 30-minute walk from the old town. Taxis seemed to be scarce. The hotel could improve its signage - as it just says \"Hotel\" on the building, along with a fitness center sign (which is more visible) from the road. Cannot see the name of the hotel until you are at the side of the hotel where the entrance is - it's a small sign. Our room was small, and comfortable. The breakfast (not included in our price) was delicious. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Nice hotel close to train stop
We arrived at the hotel before check in time. They gave us our room key as we wouldn't be back to the hotel until after 9 PM when the check in desk would be closed. The staff provided maps and direction to the train station, a ten minute walk. The train trip into the city was about a half hour. Nice large room, good breakfast. Parking on site.

We booked a night here as a stop over on a long drive through Europe. We chose Meissen having stayed in this beautiful town previously on the same trip. The hotel was clean and the staff very friendly and very helpful. The rooms and the hotel in general can be said to be a little dated and in need of an upgrade BUT it was perfectly clean, comfortable and functional. The hotel location is a little out from the historical city centre. If you are alone or a couple then its not a bad walk. If you are with young kids then it means driving or taking a bus which is a little bit of a pain. Overall a positive stay and would consider again next time.

Hotel was good basic accommodation. The staff were freindly and accommodating and the restaurant offered a reasonable variety. There were a couple of vegetarian choices available. It was a not too far from the old town and the train station was easily reachable on foot. Would recommend as a short break.

Two night stop over
Meissen is delightful but this hotel is quite a walk back to the centre. Exterior is somewhat dated and shares its car park with Netto. The railway station for visiting Dresden is close enough with free Park & Ride facility.

We had a pleasant stay at the Hotel Andre. The room was comfortable and well pointed. It was fresh, clean and met al of our needs. The dining room was wonderfully appointed and very comfortable. Breakfast was exemplary, the food was fresh and bountiful. The selection was wonderful and appetizing. The hotel was easy to access and near services and shops. Apart from our difficulty in accessing the Internet everything else met or exceeded our expectations. The Hotel Andre was well worth the cost of the stay. It was great value.

En general está “normal” pero la cama está muy muy incómoda… amanecí contracturado. No lo recomiendo. El check in es hasta las 9pm y pues es impractico si estás de paso a otra ciudad.

Das Hotel \"Alte Klavierfabrik Meißen\" wurde von uns spontan für eine Nacht aufgrund eines Konzertbesuchs gebucht. Leider waren die Matratzen sehr weich, fast schon unangenehm. Das Frühstück war eher zweckmäßig; besonders enttäuschend war der lösliche Kaffee anstelle von Bohnenkaffee. Auffällig war auch, dass die Frühstückszeit bereits beim Check-In festgelegt wurde und man einen festen Platz zugewiesen bekam – fast, als ob man sich schon auf die nächste Corona-Welle vorbereitet. Zudem war der Fahrstuhl an unserem Aufenthaltstag leider defekt. Positiv hervorzuheben sind jedoch die zentrale Lage und die ausreichenden Parkmöglichkeiten. Es reicht gerade so noch für 4 Sterne.

Wir haben ein Wochenende im Hotel verbracht. Die Matratzen im Comfortzimmer waren so durchgelegen, die Spiralfedern kamen schon heraus. Die Ecken im Zimmer wurden schon länger nicht gesäubert. Tote Insekten und jede Menge Staub z.Die Gardinen waren teilweise aus der Schiene und hingen lose herunter.. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und bot alles was man erwartet. Der Frühstücksraum ist freundlich hell und liebevoll dekoriert.

Für die Durchreise OK, aber…
Der Empfang war kühl und sachlich. Das Zimmer sehr sauber, aber in die Jahre gekommen. Die Matratze super weich und mir taten all die Menschen mit Rückenschmerzen leid die in der billige Schaumstoffmatratze nächtigen mussten. Frühstück mit Plörrekaffe (Instantkaffee aus der Maschine) und Aufbackbrötchen. Richtigen Bohnenkaffee bzw. Kaffeevariationen gab es gegen Aufpreis (z.B. Kaffee Crema 2,50€) und leider keine Michersatzprodukte. Also für mich kommt das Hotel und die Hotelkette Travdo absolut nicht mehr in Frage!

Der Empfang war sehr nett und freundlich. Wir wurden über alles wichtige informiert. Bei der Datenübermittlung gab es aber scheinbar ein paar Probleme. Der vollständige Name wurde nicht übermittelt. Auch das wir mit Hund angereist sind, ist nicht übermittelt worden. Die Zimmer sind bei den aktuellen Außentemperaturen sehr warm. Es gibt keine Klimaanlage. Aber das stört weniger.

Gutes Hotel für einen Kurztrip
Wir waren nur eine Nacht in diesem Hotel und sehr zufrieden. Zimmer schön groß, Duschabtrennung mit Vorhang ist immer etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig aber ok. Frühstück passt auch. Betten vielleicht etwas sehr weich. Würde beim nächsten Meissen Aufenthalt das Hotel wieder buchen.

Pas un très bon séjour, on a bien cru que l'hotel allait nous facturer la présence de notre voiture stationnée dans la rue mais ça n'a pas été le cas. La chambre était correcte, mais le lit mauvais, je sentais des ressorts du matelas, le double vitrage laisse a désiré, il y a une rue passante à proximité avec de nombreuses sirènes à toute heure, et un supermarché juste en face. Cependant si on regarde plus loin, on a une belle vue sur le chateau de la ville. Très bon petit déjeuner. Dans l'ensemble, ça ne vaut pas le prix qu'on a payé.

Aufgebackene Brötchen von Penny nebenan und kaltes Rührei, wahrscheinlich von 7.00 Uhr. Beim Auschecken wurde der volle Preis abkassiert, und lapidar bemerkt, ja der Aufzug sei defekt. Hvis du ikke behersker det tyske språket har du til tider et problem. Hvis du må ringe for å meddele en sen ankomst kan dette bli en utfordring. Engelskkunnskapene er fraværende . To av personalet gjorde et tappert forsøk. Rommet var rent ,men kunne vært litt romsligere for 2 personer. Men, vi bor gjerne der neste gang vi skal til Dresden.
