Great for a few nights stay, the villa-style property is a gem outside of the city. Many places were walkable from the location. Room was a good size for what we needed. Spa and pool are €10 per person but we made the most of a day there so it was worth the spend.

I’ve been staying at park Hotel Radebeul a few times. I was disappointed with cleaning and general upkeep. My sheets were not changed during a weeks stay, and in general the only thing cleaners seem to do was making the bed.
I would urge management to address this, it’s a lovely place and you cannot fault facilities, staff and food. But, if I pay for a hotel I expect a clean room with clean sheets

It was very quiet and the area outside was very nice. The room itself was kind of old, as far as furniture and the grates in front of the doors and windows. I slept well and was warm enough, even though it's December, and there were only two heaters in the suite. The restaurant was very good for dinner and breakfast.

Concidering the rating of the hotel, we were possibly surprised on the premesis, cleanliness and how easy it was. We were travelling by car, and the car was parked directly under our building. We had balcony in our room and as travelling with pet it was superb!

Perfect place for the stay in Dresden area. Parking is awkward as the entry way is usually dedicated to fire brigade. For check-in people are supposed to go to garage. This is not clearly visible i.e. people are consistently parking in front of the hotel which is a risk in case of fire or emergency. The hotel itself is frequently used by business seminars which is not good for the tourist traveler as the restaurant and bar area is busy and crowded. As guest of City Hotel one has the chance to use the wellness area in the Radisson Blu mother hotel. This would be perfect if there would be a chance to use other ways to get there beside using the garage or the outside walk (all in bath clothes).

Misleading description

This was the third time we have stayed at this hotel, but the first to be frustrated. In the hotels.com app there are two hotels that can be chosen from: City Hotel Dresden Radebeul, and Radisson Blu Park Hotel and Conference Centre. The former has a picture of a swimming pool next to it, the latter does not. However, it is, as we were later told, the same hotel. We chose the one with the picture of the swimming pool, since one of the main reasons we go to this hotel is the swimming pool. We were therefore stunned to find out that we told we had to pay for each person to use the pool, every time we entered.This never happened during past stays, and it was quite unpleasant having to explain it to the receptionists. We were made to feel 'cheap' for questioning why we should pay for something that we had never had to pay for in the past, and when we specifically paid for the property that a) had a picture of a swimming pool next to the name of the hotel b) has 'Indoor pool and outdoor pool' listed among the amenities. After arriving back I carefully checked again, and see that at the bottom of the page in the 'small print' section it states, 'Facility access costs EUR10 per person, per day.' However, this is not readily visible in the mobile app where we booked. In short: It isn't about the money, but about misleading advertising, and the damper it put on our moods, and our stay, from the embarrassment. Radisson could review this content to avoid dissatisfied customers.

needs modernisation - really going down hill

The city hotel is attached to the Radisson hotel, the hotel facilities are really modern and up to date as are the restaurants and wellness centre, however the city hotel over the past 12 months is slipping.
the room I was given was very dated, not the cleanest, bed was extremely uncomfortable and the bathroom was very dated. I have stayed here many times in 2018 without any issues however April 2019 the hotel is looking very dated and in need of an upgrade. the next time I will choose the Radisson as the price difference isnt that much but the level of accommodation is very different.

I booked City Hotel because it was near the Lossnitztalbahn steam train, and also near good train links to the airport and city centre. The linked rooms we had were perfect for me and my teenage children. Breakfast was good and staff helpful and friendly.

An unexpectedly pleasant stay!

We were visiting Dresden as tourists and meeting up with friends. We used public transport and the hotel is near trams (2mins walk) and Sbahn (12mins). The problem is that it is part of the Radisson, but consists of 'houses' in the grounds, with access to the main hotel. However, there is nothing at the entrance to say that it is there, and that registration is in the lobby of the Radisson! We found the staff very helpful, and the room was warm and spotlessly clean, although the breakfast which we had on two of the four mornings, was somewhat expensive!
The overall experience was far better that we had expected and we would return and would also recommend it to others as excellent value. Radebeul is effectively a suburb of Dresden {but a separate municipality} about 20mins away: there is rather a village atmosphere with a centre between the railway station and the main road which was larger than at first sight. One can also head to Meissen and Moritzburg and be in the countryside within a few minutes, and vineyards sweep up the hill from the hotel. One gripe: the only English TV was CNN and BBC was signed but unavailable!

Week-long stay for a wedding.

The hotel had excellent facilities and staff were friendly and helpful.Our room was spacious ,clean and comfortable and had a little balcony overlooking a wooded area.Transport links to Dresden and Coswig are good as are local restaurants and supermarkets.Our new son-in-law is from the area and we'll definitely return.Other family members also enjoyed their stay.

Beautiful Hotel, Great Pool

The hotel was a 20-minute tram ride away from city center, located at a very quiet and beautiful neighborhood, with several tourist attractions around, like the DDR Museum and a castle-looking place up on the hills. The staff was incredibly friendly. The hotel rooms were all arranged in small villas close to one another, and I enjoyed the indoor pool very much. Everything was elegant, clean and comfortable. Only thing was there weren't many restaurants near by, and make sure to plan your trips in case it's on a Sunday when many shops or restaurants don't open in Germany.

This hotel exceeded expectations in comfort, cleanliness, staff friendliness, facilities and overall quality. Really fantastic place.
Two notes I have for future travelers: many amenities required extra cost including parking, wifi and the pool, and the location was much farther from downtown Dresden than we thought. This was my mistake for booking too quickly without thoroughly checking a map; however the name of the hotel implied that it was in Dresden, even though it was in the neighbouring town of Radebeul. Regardless, Dresden was easily accessible by tram.

Still charging for internet?

The hotel is 30 min away from the city center, it is like a complex of different buildings.
the rooms are nice. I did a last minute booking and I was able to get from the city center where everything was fully booked to this hotel a little bit outside in 40 min.
the price was very fair and the service was OK.
Internet charged extra, which i think nowadays is like charging for hot water and that it is the main reason why i am writting the review and i would not recommend the hotel to anyone.
the hotel is in residential area so not much around.

We thought we were getting an out of the way hotel for less expense but found an amazing resort to refresh and take in the local events and amazing views. Staff was five star, restaurant wonderful and train to Dresden a short walk from the hotel and 15 minute ride.

The room was fine, but the service was non-existent. Because the price was discounted, nothing came with the room --- no parking, breakfast, use of pool, or internet (although there was a way to use a free internet). The hotel was part of the Radison, so it was nearly impossible to find without a GPS. Staying inside the room was fine --- but I felt like a second class guest.

Nice but can be better...

Hotel is in a reasonable driving distance from Dresden (also available by public transport). Not far, by car, from Elbe Park shopping mall. Staff was efficient and nice.
However, even though the hotel has a swimming pool (well, not this hotel, the Radisson Blu, which is co-located) and even though my reservation mentioned that the hotel has a pool, I was told that - \"yes it has a pool but you are not entitled to use it, you can pay 8 euro per person for it if you like\"). This was quite disappointing.

A trap - complete rip off

The beds are ancient, they are not only super hard but loose springs are poking all over the place! No exaggeration - I wouldn't believe this is possible. Also most of the pictures on this hotel's page are from the Raddisson next door! Very cheap trick to make it look classy on paper, I am appalled that Raddisson management would do such thing. But this hotel itself deserves maybe 2 stars tops and only if they put some beds in it.

We booked this hotel last minute to break a long drive, but we would have been better off if we kept driving the whole night. Neither of us closed an eye the whole night.

We had to travel to Dresden on the spare of the Moment, as the Senior member of the Family died. As we had a Long drive, we booked an Hotel as near to the cemetry as possible. It was a good decision to stay in Radebeul, as we were only 4 Kilometres away from Heide Friedhof in Moritzburg. The Hotel has a main house and 9 Villas. We had to park the car in the Basement Garage. The distance to the main Hotel to have breakfast was quite a walk, meaning I had to drive my disabled husband to and from the main building to take our meals. I had asked for a disabled room, but we were given a room with a normal bath. The staff were all very friendly. The Food was good. There are many interesting places to visit: Karl May's grave and Museum. The Hotel is near to the A4 motorway. The Hotel has a large Wellness area.

We booked this hotel as we got a good price. We had a car so it did not matter that we were out of town, plenty of free parking in surrounding streets or you can pay for hotel car park. Tram a short walk from hotel. Our room was furnished nicely, very comfortable, with a fridge, great bed, nice modern bathroom, safe in room. Our room was in a separate building to main hotel so there was a little bit of a walk to room.

The hotel is clean and up to date but very Soviet looking. There are some very nice areas to see if you drive around, but the town is still a bit depressed. Cheaper than staying in Dresden though if you have car to get there in. Not the most romantic place.

Amazing hotel! This hotel shares management with the Radisson in Dresden and also shares the premises. The hotel itself is quite large with lush gardens. The rooms are fairly big and very comfy. The hotel is very close to the local tram network as well. Only thing to watch out if you are using the local transportation, is that this hotel lies outside the Dresden tariff zone 1, which means you will need to buy tickets for two tariff zones to access the hotel.

We stay during 2 days in the Hotel, the place is 8km from the city but 10 min by car. Is very calm and the rooms are quite well, but a bit hot inside. We didn't eat in the restaturant of the hotel but near are some restaurants. The hotel is quite clean and the spa is nice, good swimming pool... Good experience!

Top Hotel, room needs some redesign

This Hotel is certainly upmarket with a very impressive reception and reasturant area, the member of staff who looked after us was very polite and helpful and spoke excellent English. The rooms are located in villas, ours was well appointed and very clean, it was also cleaned every day and the towels changed. However the room needs some design improvements, the lighting over the desk was poor so business travellers would find some difficulty in writing reports, the extraction in the bathroom was poor ( I have never yet found a hotel where it was good, as the systems do not seem to be designed for any maintenance). The floor tiles were slippy when exiting from the shower (although floor towels were provided). The spare toilet roll holder in the bathroom and the cleaning brush were located just where any splashes from the toilet (there are always some) will land on them and cause contamination. There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room.Despite these points overall it was a very nice room.

Beds were miserable

This hotel was almost perfect in a cold, granite like East German way. The plumbing as the best I've ever seen, and the beds looked comfortable and firm, but they were a nightmare for some reason. Felt like we were being tortured by design. Kafka could build a story around the sleeping experience. And when will hotels stop charging so much for breakfast: 18 Euro, which is far more than we ever paid for dinner at good restaurants. We drove to a pastry shop and got great coffee and breakfast rolls for two for about 8 Euro total. Give me a break.

Als mein Mann und ich in die Eingangshalle kamen, waren wir zuerst positiv beeindruckt. Sehr groß, hell und stilvoll eingerichtet. Das Personal war freundlich.
Also wir dann aber auf dem Zimmer ankamen, waren wir etwas enttäuscht über die Einrichtung. Diese war ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen, es waren Risse in der Wand, die eine Schranktür quietschte laut und ging nur sehr schwerfällig auf etc. Also für ein 4 Sterne Hotel tatsächlich sehr schlecht.
Außerdem mussten wir 10€ pro Person für die Nutzung des Wellnessbereichs bezahlen, da wir im City Hotel gebucht haben und nicht in dem anderen dazugehörigen, wo der Eintritt nur 5€ pro Person gekostet hätte. Zusätzlich hätte man für jede Nutzung des Wellnessbereichs bezahlen müssen und nicht nur einmalig.
Für eine Nacht ok, für einen längeren Aufenthalt leider nicht wirklich zu empfehlen.

Mooi hotel aan de voorzijde maar de kamer zat in een gebouw aan de achterzijde, laten een mooi zwembad van het hotel zien maar ook voor gasten moet je dit extra betalen staat niet vermeld.
Kamer vieze vloerbedekking en spinnenweb en ontbijt is veel te duur personeel onvriendelijk over aanspreken spinnenwebben antwoord die zitten goed daar ,sorry geen aanrader

Kohde oli vaikea löytää, koska oli ns toisen hotellin takana. Kiva ja rauhallinen paikka, soveltui hyvin siihen, että olimme vain ohikulkumatkalla. Kaunis puutarha, iso huone omalla terassilla. Siisti. Hyvä aamiainen. Autohalli. Koiran kanssa matkustaessa erinomainen. Ravintola oli mennyt kiinni jo klo 21:30, mikä oli harmi.

Das Hotel war Super. Leckeres Frühstück und nettes Personal. Schade das man für die Hoteleigenen Parkplätze als Gast richtig abgezockt wird. Das Hallenbad ist pro Tag mit 10 Euro auch extra zu bezahlen obwohl es auch zum Hotel gehört. Alles zusammen als Familie beim Aufenthalt von 3 Nächten waren wir auch noch ca.150 Euro los.

Wir waren nur für eine Nacht dort und können nicht viel dazu sagen. Was uns gut gefallen hat, war die ruhige Lage und dier auch der angrenzende Park der innerhalb der Unterkünfte ist. Wir waren zu viert und hatten zwei Zimmer. Das eine war schon modernisiert, dass andere leier noch nicht. Was dennoch fehlte war eine Minibar, ein Körpergroßer Spiegel und die Matratzen waren sehr weich. Das ist aber persönliches Empfinden und außerhalb der Bewertung. Im Großen und Ganzen hat es uns gut gefallen.

Tolles Haus - immer wieder gerne wieder.

Das City Hotel oder auch das Radisson in Radebeul ist wirklich toll. Eine große Hotelanlage mit großer herrschaftlicher Gartenanlage, angenehm große Zimmer, Kaffee Wasser auf dem Zimmer, sauber, ruhig, was will man mehr.

Tolle Poolanlage, Gym, Massage, man braucht das Haus nicht unbedingt verlassen.
Frühstück sehr reichhaltig, mit speziellen Features, wie frische Kräuter zum Beispiel.
Aber, ohne Auto ist das Haus schwieriger zu erreichen.

Mein FAZIT: Wenn ich nach Dresden muss, bin ich im City-Hotel in Radebeul. Ich komme immer gerne wieder.

Silvester mit Hindernissen

Bis zum Zeitpunkt der Rechnung, noch einigermaßen überzeugt, aber nach dreimaligem Mailverkehr endlich Problem gelöst (Rechnung 100€ zu hoch) und Preise passen nicht mit dem vorher angegebenen überein. z.B 16,50€ fürs Frühstück, abgerechnet 21,50. Es waren noch 5€ für Getränke extra zu zahlen, stand nirgendwo?
Beim Silvesterdinner kam es zu einem Missgeschick durch einen Kellner, dabei wurde ein Glas Rotwein über Jackett, Hose ,Bluse und Schuhe geschüttet, nach Rücksprache heißt es selber Kümmern und dann die Rechnung zuschicken( Kosten rund 50€) ,ob die dann anstandslos bezahlt wird, wer weiß? Ich finde da hätte weit mehr kommen müssen als das beschriebene, also zum Abschluss, Hotel soweit gut, aber Service schlecht

Gutes Hotel mit einer sehr guten Verkehrsanbindung

Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt. Das Frühstück ist lecker und reichhaltig, jedoch mit knapp 22 € pro Person auch nicht günstig.
Bett ist sehr bequem. Die Räumlichkeiten könnten einen frischen anstrich vertragen, damit es wieder gemütlicher wirkt. Das Auge isst ja bekanntlich mit.

Ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Haustiere (Hund) sind kein Problem. Frühstück ausreichend und gut. Personal sehr freundlich.
Leider hat man uns Parkgebühren berechnet, obwohl wir das Parkhaus nicht genutzt haben. Aber nach telefonischer Rücksprache und Mailversand, wird dieses wohl erstattet. Da müsste man etwas ändern. Ansonsten topp.

Das \"City Hotel Dresden Radebeul\" ist im Grunde das Radisson. Wer möchte, kann alle Angebote des Radisson nutzen und auch das Frühstücksbuffet ist identisch. Allerdings sind es die \"alten\" Hotelzimmer, welche schon lange keine Renovierung mehr erfahren haben und somit Flecken auf dem Teppich, nur partiell funktionierende Fußbodenheizungen, weiche Betten, etc. eben auch mal vorkommen können. Wer nur eine Nacht bleibt und es im Grunde auch nur zum schlafe nutzt, dem wird es egal sein. Für längere Aufenthalte oder die Nutzung der Hotelanlage empfiehlt sich allerdings die Buchung des \"Originals\" mit mehr Komfort.

Die Ambiente mit den Brunnen, wunderschön. Großer Frühstücksbereich, wenn auch wenig Auswahl an Aufschnitt, hätte mir zu Ostern etwas besonderes wie Lachs gewünscht. Spa top... zwar nur bis 21 Uhr (schade) nach einem Tagesausflug Entspannung wäre toll, aber wenigstens durften wir es mit 5€ Aufpreis p. P. sogar am Abreisetag nutzen, nur leider ohne Massage, die wir hätten bei der Reservierung schon fest machen sollen, weil Wochen im voraus ausgebucht war. Wir hatten ein Appartement für 4Pers. mit einer Küchenzeile gebucht und wurden überrascht, das es zwei Zimmer waren ohne Durchgang und nur über eine gemeinsame Flur verbunden, daher waren wir als Gruppe gezwungen uns immer in einem Zi. aufzuhalten, sonst hätten wir nicht miteinander reden können.

gutes Hotel mit Superfrühstück!

Schönes ruhiges Hotel.
Es ist an einigen Kleinigkeiten zu sehen, dann man das Zimmer aufwerten kann.
Ein sehr vielseitiges Frühstück, wenn auch Schinken und Rosinen fehlten.
Gern wieder.
