Nicer than I expected! Great bar on site with food as well. I got breakfast there rather than getting the buffet. A 5-minute walk to the Neustadt train station. The wifi and AC were both excellent.

We chose this property for a two night stay in Dresden because it was within walking distance of all the major sights and had a parking garage. The staff were friendly but checkin took a long time. This seems to be a common issue at Motel Ones as we had the same issue at the Berlin-Alexanderplatz. The room and restaurant were bright and clean. Breakfast was very good with a wide variety of food. Decaffeinated coffer was availble but only as instant - disappointing. Nevertheless, I would stay again.

A good budget hotel. There is no staff to check you in—you do so at a kiosk outside of the hotel and it prints out a key for you, so be prepared to handle that. Once you check in it’s absolutely fine—clean and well kept; you can come and go as you please.

Very good budget hotel. Excellent location. Seems new and is very clean. The rooms are minimal, but we know what to expect from this chain. Downsides (1) it's hard to take a shower without soaking the bathroom floor. (2) At check-in, the credit card machine gave me an option to pay by EUR or USD - without thinking I hit USD (I was tired from a long trip) and immediately incurred a 4% surcharge on the crooked exchange rate. I realized my mistake within one second but it was already too late. (3) having to decide on breakfast time at check-in is a bit rough.

This was a fairly typical European hotel: perfectly adequate but smaller rooms than in most U.S. hotels. There's a pleasant lobby, free wi-fi, and a bar. No restaurant in the hotel. Located on the Neustadt side of the Elbe river, it's about a 20-min walk over to the Altstadt where most of the historic tourist sites are.
Breakfast is not included in the price of the room. It is a substantial continental breakfast, whereas the other hotels I stayed at in eastern Germany offered eggs, sausage, fruit, etc. in addition to breads, cheese, and jam.

We thought motel one was a great place to stay in Dresden. It's an easy walk to the town centre. The staff were great, very helpful, they helped us to work out our train station and timings. We didn't eat at the hotel. Yes, the rooms are small, but they are on a par with other places we are stayed in this price bracket, and we're modern and we're very clean. We would happily recommend this hotel.

This place was a pleasant surprise. The neighborhood doesn't look like much at first, but it's a pleasant 15 minute walk to the Augustusbrücke and then across to the Old City. Or walk the other direction for 20 minutes or so and you're in the midst of cool dirty bars and food. But then you can come back to sleep in a quiet place with not much around. The hotel itself has cool blue hues everywhere and a nice bar downstairs.

Like other Motel Ones, clean and stylish. The room is a bit small, and two luggages are maximum to fit in the room, yet it is cozy and the bedding quite comfortable. It is close to Neustadt S-Bahn and train station, North of the Elbe River, yet easy to get to main attractions with street cars. There's a very nice restaurant just next to the golden statue of August III near the bridge (stop: Neumarkt or 15min. walk from hotel) with good food and view of the city. Try it when you get a chance.

This was a great hotel. I can't figure out why they call it \"Motel\" because it's definitely not a motel. Great modern hotel with everything you need. The rooms are quite small, but very clean and comfortable. Hotel was very close to a bike shop (w/ in walking distance) so we rented bikes and went across the bridge into old town. Would definitely stay here again.

Ett bra hotell som hade allt man behöver. Smidigt att parkera, bra öppettider i baren. Rummen är kanske i minsta laget men man åker ju inte på semester för att sitta på rummet. Rent och fräscht och tyst. Dock anser jag att frukosten har ett alldeles för högt pris i förhållande till vad som erbjuds. Det enda varma var kokt ägg. Men det finns ett antal caféer inom promenad avstånd där man får mycket mer frukost för pengarna. Men hotellets läge bredvid spårvagn och i den betydligt lugnare delen av staden gör att vi gärna återvänder.

Das finden wir sehr unhygienisch, da auch Taschentücher und andere Dinge die im Müll landen einfach den Eimer verschmutzen und so die Servicekräfte den Eimer reinigen müssen.

Uns hat es gut gefallen. Da wir selber ursprünglich aus der Gastro kommen guckt man immer mit anderen Augen. Der Service war teilweise nicht gut weils einfach keinen gab. Das betraf den Abend und Nachtservice. Schlüssel soll man nicht abgeben? Noch nie gehört. Der Rest war super, auch das Frühstück und der Service morgens. Für unsere Zwecke absulot ausreichend, wir würden wieder kommen.

Kritik gibt es aber: Auch die Bars besuchen wir sehr gerne. Hier sollte man bei mittlerweile stark herunter gefahrenem Service ( Selbstbedienung, Vorkasse ) auch die Preise der Drinks anpassen. Auch die Zubereitung war mal besser.

Zentral gelegen, mit offenen Fenster laut, bei geschlossenen Fenster herrscht Ruhe. Sehr gut das es Klimaanlage gibt. Zimmer etwas klein. Es war ein super Aufenthalt, sauber, keine Mängel, man fühl sich einfach wohl. Werden versuchen jetzt immer ein Motel one zu finden auf unseren Städtereisen und natürlich weiter empfehlen.

Alt var godt bortset fra, at.vi havde bl. a. booket hotellet, fordi vi kunne parkere vores bil i hotellets parkeringsområde. Da vi ankom kunne vi ikke få en p- plads på hotellets område og blev henvist til at finde. Offentlig p- plads i byen. Det var besværligt og utrygt, da vi var kørende i en ældre cabriolet, som har en stor værdi for os og også økonomisk, så det ødelagde fornøjelsen noget.

We had a road trip whit 5 hotels this was one of the worst rated but the absolute best one.
exception that we found breakfast a bit to expencive. when getting the hotel, the rooms was far above what we had hoped for... we had a wonderful view. and a perfect room for us. since we didnt plan to spend time in the room except sleeping... if you need time in the room its a bit cramped. but we had 0 problems.
sadly the english in the reception not good. and we ended up paying for parking twice even tho told we could leave and come back. small detail but max 9 euro became 15 euro.
