Good hotel - unpleasant stuff

The hotel, the room and breakfast were excellent however the front desk stuff were angry, unwelcoming and unpleasant to talk with. We felt like we were doing something wrong when checking in or trying to get service from them. Also, the hotels page stated parking on site but didn’t mention that the parking costs money and very very expensive.

Good location, avoid the on-site parking!

The hotel was very well-located for the Neustadt station and there was a tram stop literally right outside the door which made getting around very easy.

The room was comfortable and clean, the Wi-Fi was decent and the staff were friendly and helpful.

We did not partake of the offered breakfast, so I cannot comment on that.

I feel that I must comment on the ridiculously expensive parking charge at the hotel - 18,5€ per night; to compare, the parking at the station car park for 24 hours is 3€, so we parked there and wheeled our luggage to the hotel which is only a 5-min walk away.

Overall, we had a good stay at this hotel and I would recommend it, but definitely not the parking at the location, just park at the station and save 15€ a day!

Good location, nice staff, remote control and telephone are wrapped I guess is to prevent the corona virus. Comfortable bed. However, the hot water become cooler and cooler at the end for a night, and one night when I am back I found that the door is not fully closed.

All we needed

I selected this hotel for it’s price and proximity to the airport, the gig we were going to at Tante Ju and the train station. We arrived early and left our luggage so we could go for a wander. The receptionist was extremely helpful, giving us a map to show us how to get to the old town (also very close by) and which train we’d need to get to the gig that night. After a bit of sightseeing and lunch we got into our room, which was basic but clean and all we really needed.
I’d highly recommend this hotel for anyone heading to Dresden

A nice convenient hotel to stay in Dresden. Directly opposite a tram station made it really easy to get around and see the city. A sumptuous breakfast and friendly staff made it an enjoyable stay in Dresden.

Rooms were clean and comfortable enough but very cramped, space only to walk around bed and for one piece of luggage to be laid out on a small bench. no wardrobe space. No kettle - you have to go to reception to put down a deposit to bring a kettle to your room and you have to bring it back down to the reception when you check out. Parking has to be paid for 19Euros per day and the entrances to the hotel's parking are awkward as the roads leading are divided and you have to travel 1km or so down to get a u-turn to get onto the correct side. Not a car-friendly hotel. Best avoided if you drive. Free street parking is about 400m away on dark streets by the train line. Breakfast is decent but nothing to rave about and only worth it if it comes with the room at a small cost (less than 10Euros per person). Breakfast joint gets crowded and the queue for the coffee machines get long, so time your breakfast especially on weekends. Location of hotel is out of main downtown area to old Town, about 3km walk. Tram station is right in front of hotel so that might be a good option for getting into town. No restaurants around the area, except a Kebab kiosk and the main train station 500m away.

A week in Dresden.

Had an amazing stay at this hotel. Breakfast was excellent, service is very good and the location is perfect. Very new hotel so everything looks fresh and clean. Within walking distance or a very short tram ride to all the major attractions of Dresden. Tram stop right in front of the hotel and train station is a 5 minute walk. Buy an individual transit day pass for 6 Euros or 9 Euros for family use. My only issue is the very narrow shower enclosure.

The location is covenient to the New Town Railway Station, the tram system and the Old Town Centre. The Staff are helpful and friendly. The facilities are good and maintained to a high standard. I would have liked a drawer to put personal items in and a clothes rail rather than 15 cm pegs to hang clothes on. The breakfasts were amazing with an impressive selection of food. I did not see any dissatisfied guests during my time there, we all seemed very pleased with our choice.

The breakfast alone was worth the stay. Outstanding breakfast with a hugh selection of breakfast foods. The locations is also great. Your only a15 minute walk to zwinger palace/green vault. The hotel was extremely clean and the staff were helpful and knowledgeable of all transportation/locations of historical landmarks.

Trotz einer Baustelle direkt gegenüber, auf der bereits ab 7 Uhr lautstark gearbeitet wurde, konnte das Zimmer dank der gut isolierenden Fenster einen Großteil des Lärms abfangen. Das Hotel selbst ist sehr sauber, und grundsätzlich würde ich jederzeit wiederkommen. Beim nächsten Aufenthalt würde ich allerdings genauer auf die Zimmerauswahl achten, um eventuellen Baulärm zu vermeiden.

Das Hotel ist modern und gut gelegen. Eine Straßenbahnhaltestelle liegt direkt vor der Tür, der Bahnhof Neustadt ist unweit entfernt und generell sind Orte in Altstadt und Neustadt gut fußläufig erreichbar. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer-WLAN ist leider nurnnutzbar, wenn der Fernseher an ist, ansonstem ändert sich das Passwort.

Hotel bien situé, proche de la gare de Neustadt, et desservi par 4 lignes de tram différentes.
Petit dejeuner excellent avec beaucoup de choix.
Un pont negatif à noter : l'utilisation du wifi dans la chambre nécessite de laisser la télé allumée, car le code change dès qu'on l'éteint.

Mein Aufenthalt im Hotel war perfekt. Die Zimmer sind noch sehr neuwertig, die Sauberkeit war prima. Hier und da könnte man ein wenig genauer hinschauen an Ecken und Kanten.

Die Ausstattung war zweckmäßig und der Platz im Zimmer wurde optimal genutzt. Gut war, dass es für die Stromversorgung eine extra Karte gab.

Im Hotel ist ausschließlich Kartenzahlung möglich. Das empfand ich als zeitgemäß und angenehm. Dadurch funktionieren alle Prozesse schnell und effizient.

Das Frühstück war für den Preis definitiv eines der besseren, die ich bisher in Budget-Hotels genossen habe. Verschiedene Brötchen, Aufschnitt, Müsli, Rührei und sogar Pancakes waren dabei. Da sollte jeder etwas finden und satt werden.

Besonders herausragend war allerdings der Service. Das Personal war ausnahmsweise sehr, sehr freundlich und gut gelaunt. Überhaupt ist eine 24-Stunden besetzte Rezeption in Budget-Hotels nicht der Standard, sondern eher die Ausnahme. So ist aber auch eine durchgängige Versorgung mit Getränken und Snacks im Coffee-Shop gesorgt.
Die Erklärungen zu bestimmten Abläufen im Hotel waren sehr gut verständlich und bei Fragen hatte man stets ein offenes Ohr. Ich hatte das Gefühl, man interessiert sich noch wirklich für den Gast. Das habe ich selbst in hochpreisigeren Hotels schon sehr viel schlechter erlebt.

Ich wünsche dem Team, dass sie ihre Gastfreundschaft beibehalten, denn das bleibt im Kopf.

Und hat leider nicht gefallen das es keinen Kleiderschrank gibt,wir lebten praktisch so aus dem Koffer.
Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es am Hotel,mit Glück bekommt man auch einen Parkplatz.
Sehr gut war das man zu Fuß alle Sehenswürdigkeiten und Geschäfte in der Innenstadt erreichen konnte.
Man kann aber auch die S-Bahn nehmen die direkt vor dem Hotel Haltestellen hat..

Für uns als Zweitagestouristen war es genau das richtige Hotel. Fußweg in die Altstadt ca. 20 Minuten.
