The breakfast was very good with vegan and lactose intolerant options so worth the price. Underground parking was convenient though there is paid parking across the street, too. We walked to dinner and a bit further one can walk to downtown.

Great base for exploring a wonderful city

Great location, in a quiet area. A 15 minute walk to the Altstadt and also Dresden-Neustadt station in another direction. Several bars, a 10 minute walk away in Äußerer Neustadt. Large room and clean. Would stay again.

The Radisson is in a very quiet area of Dresden. It takes about 7 to 10 mins to get to the tram lines to get to the old town area. Or you can walk it. Other than that, the hotel is superb. It’s just very very quiet with nothing around the hotel.

Great hotel about 20 minutes walk to the city centre. The rooms are big and everywhere was really clean. Also close to Neustadt. Our only issue was i booked a twin room through Expedia but we were given a double on the first night, so worth checking your booking in advance with the hotel. The staff were really helpful and swopped our room for the second night.

The hotel was very nice and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful as well. The breakfast was €20/person. So a family of 4 would have been €80, which is excessive. There also wasn't coffee or tea available in the room. The coffee was only available by purchase, but for €3, it wasn't bad. Otherwise, the hotel stay was very pleasant.

Room was very large, however, rather dated and lack of any pictures and white wood chip walls gave a very unhomely feel. Also lack of facilities included no kettle, no tea or coffee making facilities or body wash.

Location was superb for our purposes (visiting family in NeuStadt), but others might not find it as suitable, although tram service is very convenient (around corner from front door) to get to NeuStadt train station or to AltMarkt, for example. Front desk staff were not fluent in English (nor I in German) so there was some difficulty in communicating at times. Room was good value thanks to special pricing Expedia was able to obtain.

The park inn Dresden was an efficient and economical stay in Dresden. Near to a hip district and about 20mins leisurely walk to the main sights. A little tired but overall: Good stay!

Basic hotel in good location

Big basic hotel, clean and with good staff. Staff extremely friendly, rooms very basic, but you get what you pay for. This is not a central location, hence the price probably. Comfortable beds, parking at 6 or 8 Euros per night, or park on the street at night free, alternatively low priced parking lot directly on the other side of the road. A great low priced location.

This is a nice place to stay. There's a parking lot across the street that had plenty of parking at a reasonable price. Room was clean and comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful; they gave us city maps and recommended a restaurant that we liked. If the weather is good, it's a pleasant 20-30 minute walk to the cathedral and museums. We would stay here again.

short trip will definitely stay again

From location of Hotel there is a beautiful 20 min walk alone the river into town. lots of museums, churches and beautiful architecture to see in and around town. The Restaurant attached to hotel- food OK but next time I will go to one of the many restaurants for supper. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. In room coffee facilities would have been a bonus!!

Out of the way, but nice...

A little out of the way for the major sights of the historic district of Dresden, but close to Neustadt, where there is a lively bar and restaurant scene populated by locals. Clean, spacious, great bathroom, early and inexpensive parking.

Not walking distance to restaurants or shops

You need to use the Tram or Taxi to eat or shop. The hotel room is what we expected and the staff warm and friendly. The breakfast is what you would expect for the €13 Euro price. If taking the train, get off at the Dresden-Neustadt station and take the #3 Tram. If you need a cab, use the more distant Dresden Hbf.

5 min. walk to the north bank of the Elbe river.
and another 15 min. walk can get the major attraction.
No good view from the room's window. Room is air conditioned, but it is littel bit noisy, and not so strong.

In Neustadt, 10 mins walk from Neustadt station (10 mins to airport) and 10 mins to old town, though 10 mins the other way is Dresden's main bar and restaurant area, so very handy. Clean, modern and efficient

Nice inexpensive hotel....if you don't intend to use the internet. 12 Euros ($16) per day for internet access, or 10 Euros for 120 minutes. Poor phone reception in my room, and so I could not use my cell phone to surf the web. Also, no electrical outlets at desk. But, the room was nice.

Reasonable location with plenty of eating places nearby. About 20/30 minutes walk to old town. Shame that they dont provide coffee/tea making in the rooms and that wifi is chargeable. Didnt go anywhere near breakfast at €13 a go.

Stayed in Park Hotel as I thought it would be a safe option as a simple, clean and good value hotel. It was all of those things and I was pleased with my choice. The only criticism was that I had a single duvet for the double bed.

The hotel was comfortable, nice, and very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful whenever needed and also spoke English even though it wasn't quite necessary for me. The location of the hotel was very good to great. Its about a ten to fifteen minute walk to the altstadt mitte, but only about a five minute walk to neustadt. I have absolutely no complaints and for the price it was a completely pleasant stay. Frühstuck was pricey, but I didn't eat any at the hotel.

This is a quiet unpretentious business hotel in a pleasant residential area of Dresden. The location is very convenient because it is close to the northside of the River Elbe and trams stop at the Rosa Luxemburg Plaz at the end of the street. Breakfast is typically German with rolls and butter, cold meats and jams, yogurts in different flavours, muesli and fresh fruit. Service at breakfast is quiet and efficient. The bedroom was spacious and clean and good standard and there was a shower / bathtub.

Staff was so friendly and helpful. Brought up a crib for us and recommended a great pizza place. We were amazed at how big the room was and wish we could stay at a Park Inn everywhere we travel. Perfect for our family with three small children.

Great hotel, close to tourist sights

This hotel is a short walking distance (10-15 minutes) to the tourist sights.
The hotel provided fantastic value for money, with spacious rooms, well furnished and very clean.
Staff were very helpful and friendly.
This hotel provided me with the best value for money in 8 weeks of travel across Europe.
Rooms were quiet (ie. I could not hear people in nearby rooms) and the housekeeping staff worked quietly throughout nearby rooms, allowing me to sleep-in as late as I wanted.

Park Inn Dresden, everything you need, great price

The Park Inn Dresden, Melanchthonstr, was a very nice, modernly furnished hotel at a very reasonable price. The location was fairly close to the center, we walked there. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room had everything we needed, beds were comfortable and the bathroom was large and bright. The room looked newly, modernly, finished. There was not a thing we needed. TV was available with CNN, nice for us as we don't speak German.
We used the internet, reasonable rates, free printing. The area was pleasant, traffic a little noisy with the window open but very quiet when closed.
We would definitely recommend this hotel.

I personally find that the relation between features/ offers and the price of the breakfast is quite bad.
15 EUR per person for the items which were offered... that's quite bad.
The location itself (the distance to the train station), tram connections- also during the night- are great.

War alles top! Super freundliche Mitarbeiter, am Tresen und beim Frühstück. Sehr leckeres Frühstück. Unsere Koffer konnten wir auch kostenlos nach dem auschecken noch ein paar Stunden im Hotel stehen lassen, das war auch sehr nett. Such top Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Gern wieder!
