Very nice hotel, pleasant and helpful staff, great restaurant. Breakfast was pricey bit also very good. Best thing was location. A 10-15 minute walk to the beauty of the historic buildings, the zwenger, semperoper etc. We even walked from the train station (about 30 minutes). Highly recommend this hotel.

L’hôtel est vraiment bien situé, quartier tranquille près de tout. Chambre récente et lit très confortable. Petit déjeuner complet et très bon. Le seul bémol de cet hôtel c’est qu’il n’y a aucun espace commun pour s’asseoir ou passer du temps à l’extérieur de la chambre. Bar et terrasse ($). Sinin j’aurais mis 5 étoiles!

We like almost everything about the hotel but the only thing that we didn't like is the front stairs. My wife has knee disability and stairs is very challenging for her, but other than that its all god.

Spent 2 nights here so we could visit Dresden. Didn’t have breakfast as too expensive - plenty of choice in city which is a 12 mins walk away. Did have dinner in the restaurant which was good. Parking cheaper than some of the other hotels and although room was small - bed was comfortable.

I stayed during the ongoing pandemic and received excellent service. The hotel is clean, modern and the service is first class. It is well located, 2 mins walk from Dresden Mitte train station so airport access is exellent. Asked for a few things to be sent to my room, all arrived fast and as asked. Superb covid precautions too. Location also within easy walk of all Dresden's main attractions

This is a nice clean hotel located in a fairly central area. There’s free parking in front of the hotel but if that’s full, then parking on the roadside is absolutely fine and not very expensive at all. Overall this hotel provides Excellent value for money.

Nice place close to the Sbahn

Nice room, nice bathroom, very clean, comfortable bed which was on the firm side. The phone next to the bed wasn't working. Staff was very friendly. Just a few minutes walk to the Sbahn, two stations away from the Hbf, 15 minute walk from the Altstadt zentrum. Not many food options in the area after midnight, just a Mcdonalds about a 10 minute walk away. Still, would stay again and I would recommend.

Great hotel. Not in the historic centre, but only five to ten minutes away by foot and on the way there you can walk through the fabulous Zwinger Place grounds and once you have done this you are right in the centre..

Well located.

Tram stop about 100 metres from hotel with trams going to both the Main station and the Neustadt station. Wish I had known this when I arrived.

Main bus stop for city sight seeing busses at the Zwinger as well.

Rooms very clean and one of the best shower rooms (I have seen in a hotel like this for a while)

I was there alone and all perfect but for a couple the bedroom might be deemed a little on the small side.

Actually very quiet - I was on fifth and top floor so no noise from above that you can get with people walking around and no noise from rooms on either side.

I would recommend this hotel

Easy, very reasonable choice for Dresden visitors. The rooms are pleasant and comfortable, the breakfast room is large and sunny and the breakfast buffet extensive. Good, modern bathrooms and the hotpot with tea and coffee in each room much appreciated. Pillows could be better but on request reception will supply alternatives.

Pleasant Stay in Dresden

hotelis great but the room is little smaller than usual. Rooms and facilities remain good standard of holiday inn - clean and tidy. Location of the hotel is good. 10 mintues walk to the old town. Breakfast is great. Service is good. Outside parking with not mich spaces, but can park along the street 2000-0800 are free.

Well designed modern room - lovely decor and bathroom (powerful, 2 shower heads). Kettle ablnd hot drinks provided which is unusual for a German city hotel (not many others did during our Germany tour). High quality TV and comfy beds. A very nice hotel. We used the sauna (downside is they charge 4 euros, you have to ask at reception so they give you a robe. in return for using the sauna they give you a 4 euro drink voucher). Bar is nice - restaurant and bar closes at 10pm. All staff spoke English but some were better than others. It's very close to town by foot.

Excellent shower. Room size on the small side. Breakfast buffet comprehensive and well tended. Not a big breakfast area, but a separate room was available when it got busy. One of the reception staff was not well trained to advise tourists.

Very good location. Hotel is a old building but completely renewed. Conditioner was not functioning properly, but the street was very quite so we kept the window open and were able to cool don the temperature. Staff was very friendly.

Room too hot - could not sleep!

I would usually rate this hotel as a 4 or a 5 but I had issues with the air conditioning in the room. I stayed a total of 3 nights. The first night, I could barely sleep as the room was too warm (28 degrees C/82 degrees F) with the AC on high all night. I brought this to the attention of the front desk. Next two nights same thing even after complaining again. My colleagues mentioned the same thing so I believe it is an issue with the AC service in general or the controls. The hotel says it has AC but this should mean that I should be able to control the temperature in my room for a comfortable sleep. Very poor sleep this on top of jet lag made for a lousy week!

Very convenient for conference centre and only 5-10 mins walk from all the city centre sightseeing attractions. Decent restaurant as long as you don;t want anything too fancy and very helpful staff. Phenomenal shower that will wake or refresh even the most tired traveller. If I return to Dresden, I'll be booking into here....

Der Empfang war sehr nett und der Check-in war in kürzester Zeit erledigt. Es gab alle Infos die wir benötigten. Das Zimmer war zwar etwas kleiner als gedacht aber dafür war das Bad hervorragend eingerichtet. Das Bett war ebenfalls sehr gut, da keine Rückenschmerzen aufgetreten sind und ich sehr gut geschlafen habe. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig an Auswahl und von hervorragender Qualität. Alle Angestellten waren äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich kann dieses Hotel sehr empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder in das Holiday Inn zurück, beim nächsten Urlaub in Dresden.

Wir haben nur im Hotel geschlafen. Frühstück haben wir nicht genutzt - zu teuer. Preiswerte Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es in der Nähe, das Zentrum Dresdens ist gut zu Fuß erreichbar.
