The location to the main train station waa awesome and it took just crossing the street and walking a minute or two to get to the front door. We paid a bit more at the front desk to get a room facing a side street.

Around 1 AM, we were woken up to the strong odor of cigarette smoke coming from the bathroom exhaust. My husband immediately went to the reception desk to report the issue. Mattias took action and placed us in a better room. We were pleased and enjoyed our stay even more.

Love the hotel and its location. Within easy walking distance to the Christmas markets, shopping and restaurants. It is also next door to the red lights area but it is very quiet. 15 minutes walk from Hauptbahnhof. Love it. Room is very clean. Didn't eat breakfast at the hotel nor use the bar as there are many options nearby. Supermarket and pharmacy all nearby and world class shopping plus the Churches and monuments/fountains/sculptures. Love it. I have to mention that housekeeping is so very accommodating. So sweet to personally call on us to make sure everything was alright. Our request for firmer pillows had an issue as the hotel is fully booked. The head housekeeper gave us 2 pillows in one case to make it firmer and suggested with do it to the other remaining pillows. They also gave us fresh pillow covers. So nice. We will definitely stay here again.

It was so good in front desk and other services. However, Room cleaning looks so rough. I asked the room cleaning for one day while my staying in 4 days. The cleaning missed towels, cups, hair dryers, etc. I think they are too busy to control all rooms.

Dresden with love

We usually choose a hotel near the central railway station. Therefore InterCity Dresden was a natural choise, since we have staid at other InterCity hotels. Extra plus was a fast WiFi connection and free tram tickets. We also liked that the room was not cleaned every day. Suited us fine.

This property is right in front of the train station which is very convenient. The staff are friendly and kind. What I don’t like about it is, the room is carpeted and it has stain in some area. Carpets are very unhealthy and it should be removed.

Ideal if you want to be near the station

It was the ideal location for the station as it was just a couple of minutes away.. We particularly appreciated the early check-in at 12 without any fuss even though check-in time was 3pm. The breakfast staff was super friendly. The room was a decent size and the bed was very comfortable. Exceedingly quiet despite proximity to the station.

I was traveling solo by train; the hotel's location adjacent to the train station, but within easy walking distance to the historic center, was perfect for my one-night stop in Dresden. I arrived by train, crossed the street, dropped off my bags, spent the day exploring! The city tram stops right outside, too, although I didn't need to take it. My room was spotless, comfortable, quiet, and I felt entirely safe.

Train Station Concenience!

We were diappointed the AC didnt work. We told the front desk it wasnt working and they said they would send someone up, but that never happened. If you need a place convenient to the train station, its right across the street. The hotel was clean and people were friendly. Excellent in hotel bar as well

Decent enough hotel, but they tried to upsell at every opportunity - Buy breakfast at check-in for 15.99 or pay 19.00 per person in the morning. For an extra 10.00 euros per night you can have a room with a kettle. Pay for faster wifi or settle for slow WiFi for free. If you have better amenities, provide them to your clients. Don’t nickel & dime them, it just makes you look greedy.

Very good hotel. Excellent location, facing the train station and at the beginning of the busing streets. Room was good size with good amenities. Excellent breakfast with something for everybody. The only downside was that all night we could hear whenever a train passes by or if someone was moving in the upper floor. Rooms could use additional soundproofing.

Excellent hotel, extremely convenient if you are traveling by train. By car there's a garage underneath (max height 2 m) but if you have a roof box there is street parking nearby at a reasonable price. Rooms are comfortable, though the mattresses could be better. The staff is very friendly and helpful and I will definitely stay here again the next time I am in Dresden. They even helped me arrange a shipment of something I forgot in the hotel room, and they are quick to respond to emails as well. Highly recommended!

Another IntercityHotel that is right next to the train station and therefore close to all the buses and trams.It is a modern. clean, and up-to-date hotel and they give you a $10 voucher and a free transit pass for all of the days you were there. We try to stay in InterCityHotel’s whatever we can when we are in Germany.

Loved the fact the hotel was across the street/tracks from the station. Which could be bad for light sleepers as the windows are not soundproof. They did offer when checking in to change our room to one in the back of the building for an extra fee. Breakfast was good.
