Das Zimmer war sauber und die Zimmerausstattung hat einwandfrei funktioniert.
Der Wellness- und Fitnessbereich war sehr schön und ein Grund für uns dieses Hotel zu wählen.
Eine extreme Frechheit war allerdings der Preisanstieg für den Sauna- und Poolbereich am Ersten des neuen Jahres von 3 Euro auf ganze 14,80 Euro pro Hotelgast für einen Tag. Über den originalen Preis waren wir informiert aber die Preisveränderung wurde uns nicht mitgeteilt und ist außerdem für einen Hotelgast übertrieben und viel zu teuer. Vor allem steht auf der Buchungswebsite noch der Preis für 3 Euro da. Wir und auch andere Gäste waren extrem irritiert und verärgert. Dies wäre ein Grund dieses Hotel nicht noch einmal zu wählen.
Die Lage zur statt war hervorragend. Parkhaus mit Lift zur Lobby und Zimmer waren top. Gutes Frühstück.

The room was clean and the utilities were functional. The Wellness and Fitnesscenter was great and a reason for us to choose this hotel.
However, the pricechange from 3 Euros to 14,80 Euros per Person for one day was outrageous and way to expensive. We knew about the original price but we were not told about the new one. The bookingwebsite this hotel still says 3 Euros per day and we saw other guest get visibly irritated and angry about this aswell. This is a reason for us not to visit this hotel again.
The hotel is well-positioned and the parkinghouse with lift leading to the lobby an rooms were great. Breakfast was great aswell.

Staff was pretty bad, rude, abrupt would anticipate our questions wrongly. Hotel advertised parking but it was full and we had to park about 1km away not terrible but annoying. I would not stay again. Certainly not worth the price.

I have been to Dresden almost yearly since 1985. Staying at the Hilton is super, especially the location. I hope that I can meet my friends there next year again. My only negative is that my room 3021 was dark, even with all of the lights turned on.

Overall a very good hotel.
Excellent location. Very good breakfast.
The only questionable experience was at check-out when the lady at the reception argued that I couldn't add my parking fee to the hotel bill. I was told otherwise when I checked in and after I insisted she added parking to the invoice and I didn't have to deal with the parking pay station.
This situation was an exception, all other members of the staff that we dealt with was friendly and helpful.
I'd recommend this hotel.

The hotel itself was good but requires an update. We stopped here for an overnight rest as we driving from Kakow Poland to Osann Monzel Germany and Dresden was the half way point. Unfortunately we had no rest as the air conditioning was useless and rattled all night and we did not sleep. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices.

Excellent Stay at Hilton Dresden.

Our stay in the Hotel Hilton was perfect for the 6 days we stayed, Hotel in the centre of town easy access to restaurants and walking distance to the Heinz Stayer Stadium for the World Transplant Games. All staff in the Hotel where very helpful from the front desk when we booked in, kitchen staff, and house staff all excellent and would recommend staying at this Hotel, once again thank you for making our stay very pleasant.

Brilliant Hotel

We stayed here several years ago and booked again for location. Very good hotel, helpful staff, great room with river view. Even a fireworks display one evening. Particularly enjoyed Schiff Bier Keller for good food, beer and atmosphere. Staff were great. Would happily stay again.

Exceptionally located in the heart of Dresden.

* Location (10/10): The hotel is located right next to Frauenkirche and all the sights in the old town are within walking distance. You have plenty of shopping and dining options very close to the hotel, and supermarkets too. As far as locations go, it does not get much better than this.
* Room (9/10): We had a double room for us and our kid and it was spacious and renovated. The room had windows and a small balcony facing the street, which brought in plenty of natural light. There was one large bed with a comfortable mattress. It had a large bathroom with a bath tub and toiletries (not including toothpaste). The room had also a fridge but no microwave. The TV had a wide selection of both German and international channels. Wi-fi worked fine on all our devices.
* Facilities (8/10): We used the swimming pool in the morning (when we got there in the evening, it was already closed). Unbeknownst to us, there was a 3€ pp charge for using the pool. The water was a bit cold but it was warm enough outside. The whirlpool was not working.
* Breakfast (9/10): The breakfast buffet was good. It had a bit of everything you might want for breakfast, both cold and hot foods. It had plenty of local fare, too.
* Parking: We did not use it but the building had a parking lot, as well. We chose to park overnight on a street nearby, which was free.
* Staff (9/10): The staff were nice and welcoming and kept our luggage on our last day before leaving for the airport.

They mistakenly put lotion instead of conditioner in the shower. Tissue holder was loose. When we asked cleaning person for more towels, that person rejected. Drinks in the bar was tasteless...

La struttura e senz'altro datata e per questo camere e bagni non sono il massimo della funzionalità, ma la pulizia é buona.
L'aspetto vintage delle sale comuni potrebbe anche avere un suo fascino, ma l'atmosfera è rovinata dalla scarsa gentilezza e disponibilità del personale alla reception. L'esperienza è stata non piacevole con ciascun addetto a cui ci siamo rivolti per avere le più semplici informazioni, in un caso l'impiegata é stata addirittura indisponente.
Infine sulla proposta Expedia non era chiaro che l'area benessere fosse a pagamento e l'utilizzo gratuito del wifi limitato a un solo dispositivo.

Breakfast is excellent! Very convenient & walkable to Altstadt and Neumarkt. Mostly are friendly, except the receptionist guy when I was checking in. I didn't get his name. I was so tired, travelled 8 hrs & he wasn't so friendly & accomodatibg. I felt as if he wanted to get rid of me quickly! However, checking out is excellent. The lady was very helpful. It was my first time visiting Dresden & I really like it. It's magnificent!

The location is prime. Right around the historical center. For its price, the hotel service is mediocre. Staff is not very friendly, and the property is very old. The room floor especially has a musty smell that reminds me of some very old hotels. The gym is great though.

Give the hotel 3.5 stars. Flight was cancelled so had to stay extra night. Stayed at the Relax & Chateau. THAT property is 5 stars and no comparison. Price was the same. Hilton sauna is clean, but very small, tight spaces. Hot tub was luke warm. Service in Executive Lounge was very lacking. Staff there was incredulous if I even asked for a soda or ice. Gym equipment was worn and torn at many pieces yet some equipment modern, like a Peloton and the cardio equipment.
Hotel concierge was best part. He was excellent and very helpful.
Front desk staff wasn’t knowledgeable at all about where to obtain euros, when an ATM turned out to be right in the lobby. Front desk didn’t think to invite me to the hotel NYE party. Just inconsistency and oddities in service and conditions.

This hotel scores well on some points, but the room was small, there were no drawers for clothes, and it was really expensive. There was no desk lamp. Mineral water was provided on the first night only. The main restaurant was closed, the only really good feature was the bistro. This is definitely not Hilton standard.

Set in gorgeous downtown Dresden, it was a delight to enjoy the surrounding areas. Staff in hotel were absolutely wonderful, helpful and accommodating, though surprisingly often did not know their way around Dresden and so could not alway advise. Otherwise, it was an excellent experience.

The Big Ripoff: The Shining

We came for a family vacation on the way from Berlin (parents and a daughter). We reserved a family room for 3 for which we were charged twice the cost of an ordinary double room for 2. What we got was a slightly bigger corner room with an extra bed, not two rooms as we expected, though the cost was that of two rooms. But this is just the beginning: a week before arrival, we got an email from the hotel telling us that our daughter can only get an inferior breakfast (no omelet no salmon) unless we pay extra 26 euroes for her breakfast, though we paid the equivalent of breakfast for four.... When we actually came for breakfast, we had to wait in line for 15 minutes to be ushered in.... Finally, I wanted to take a dip in the pool, and was told this will be 3 euro per person, and mind you, we already paid almost 350$ for three people in one room!!!
The location of the property is great in the center of Dresden. The hotel is big and especially the corridors reminded us of the movie THE SHINING. The point is that after we were overcharged, this greedy pettiness about the breakfast with the long line, and finally the 3 euro for the pool took away any sense of pleasure from being at this hotel.

Sad rooms need updating -not worth it

Tired rooms and nothing like one would expect a deluxe king room to be. Turns out the deluxe designation, as compared with standard king room, is free minibar, which isn’t stocked with much at all. Not a bigger or better room, but free water and peanuts. The bathroom was still a tub with a shower curtain and hand wand, not a shower. Looked straight from 1985. The only good thing going for the hotel is the location, which is superb. I really regret not booking the Steigenberger Hotel — also a superb location, I just thought the Hilton would be more modern but I was wrong. I was very disappointed.

Good location to access many sites we were interested in. WONDERFUL breakfast buffet! The only real negative was the late nighttime noise from a bar downstairs from the hotel. The noise inteferred with us going to sleep at least 2 nights. We should have asked to be moved to another room, but that would have also been inconvenient to have to move. Overall, good hotel.

Nice enough Hilton hotel in a great location right in the heart of the old town. Rooms are usual Hilton quality but the air con could be better. Decent pool and spa complex. Breakfast is poor with a limited choice of food. There are plenty of places to eat nearby so an room only booking is recommended. Hotel is let down by the attitude of some staff members. Also although both my and my friend's bookings included executive lounge access we were both told it did not. We both had to show our booking e-mails to prove it. Make sure you bring yours.

Enjoyed My Stay at the Hilton Dresden

Stayed three nights at Hilton Dresden. Location is very good, next to Frauen Kirche and the Dresden Castle. Room was very comfortable, carpet a little worn. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Just a short walk to tram stops so it is easy to see the city. Used the sauna and it was a good experience.

The hotel was located right in the city center perfect walking distance to anything you wanted to see within the town Square. The breakfast was superb and above all expectations. The hotel also has an actual fully equipped gym and pool area. It is important to note though that you do have to pay three dollars per person per day to use any of the facilities but I really think it’s worth it. They also have on-site smoothies and an executive lounge that hosts different types of drinks throughout the day and a pre-dinner menu, that gives you snacks and small things to tide you over if you are going to have a bigger dinner or a later dinner. The hotel also has three different restaurants that are all open on different occasions and also I do believe that while we were there, they did serve lunch overall it was an amazing stay and completely worth the amount paid.

Everything was fine and especially the city view in the corner suite room was fantastic.
One thing they need to know is about shower booth.
In the main shower booth, the temperature controller is not working properly. I could get burn with the extremely hot water. I did nothing, but the temperature of the water was changing suddenly.

Great location. Everything a tourist wants is within walking distance. The suite we stayed in was wonderful too except the bathroom shower area. There is no curtain or glass door covering the shower area, so the floor is all wet after you showered.
The staff here didn't seem particularly friendly, & our housekeeping services always seem to be missing something not cleaned or restocked.

Overall great stay. Only issue was parking upon arrival. When I arrived the machine to let people in was having difficulties and I had to park down the street and move car later. Room size was great and pool/ jacuzzi was very nice. Breakfast was amazing. Location can’t be beat in the heart of Dresden Old Town.

The stay was enjoyable. The only complaint I have is that the bathroom floor was filthy. I do not know how often the floor gets cleaned but it should never be in the condition that it was. All the personnel were very friendly and efficient.
