This is a 3 people friends trip. The description of the room showed on Hotels.com is 1 Queen bed and 1 twin bed. When we arrived, that was a bund bed not even sofa bed in room. They only prepared 2 people sets instead of 3 which I was disappointed. But hotel location was excellent to everywhere.

Definitely becoming a fan of the NH collection of hotels. Focus on sustainability, if you don’t need housekeeping service for the day, they give you vouchers for a free house wine/beer/soft drink. Nice touches like welcome fruit candies and strawberry water or mint cucumber water. Both NH hotels also have relaxation chairs, small sauna and steam room. Lovely experience, reminds me of the Ancient Aire philosophy of life.

Our seven days at the hotel were a truly wonderful experience. We arrive early, intending to leave our bags, but we delighted to be able to check into our wonderful room overlooking the Altmarkt!
We loved the practice of getting a drink voucher if we decline housekeeping service for the day.
The staff was very helpful and gracious and the room and common spaces were very clean and visually appealing.
The local of the hotel is perfect for sightseeing in central Dresden as well as a short walk to the train station.

I stayed for 3 nights in this beautiful hotel ideally located bedside the Altmarkt .. check in was quick efficient and professional .. my room was big the beds and bedding were very comfortable and of top quality.. A nespresso coffee machine was available with a kettle and selection of teas supplied very nice touch .. bathroom was good with hot powerful shower and other usual bathroom furnishing ., I thought very novel if you did want /need your room cleaned you receive a voucher for a beer or other refreshment 👍 I would highly recommend NH Altmarkt hotel for its charm and locality and walkibility that the wonderful city of Dresden has to offer 10/10

From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out, the service was efficient, friendly, helpful and professional. Our room was made up every morning when we had breakfast.
The room amenities were excellent land much appreciated😆. There were a free bottle of water, a Nespresso machine and in the lobby fruit juice, water, bonbons and fruit to take as much as you wanted to.
I have one complaint and that is that breakfast could be fresher. The croissants and pastries were a bit stale, the sausages were inedibly tough, the scrambled eggs a bit too chewy. It felt as if everything was left over from teo days before.
The rooms are quiet, extremely clean, well appointed and spacious.
The hotel cannot be better situated - wonderfully near the main tourist attractions.

Ab 5:00 Uhr morgens, brummte der leere Kühlschrank in meinem Zimmer, konnte kaum noch schlafen. Beim Check-out wurde mir gesagt: „Das wissen wir, die Gäste sagen uns dann Bescheid, und wir schalten den Kühlschrank aus. Diese Info müsste man den Gästen entweder beim einchecken sagen, oder einen Aufkleber auf dem Kühlschrank kleben oder einfach eine nicht Brumm den Kühlschrank installieren!

Overall it was quite good. Great location. Comfortable beds. Liked that they had hibiscus tea, water, and fruit in the lobby. Air conditioning was good, but when it got extremely hot AND humid, I’m not sure it was removing enough humidity. Small things that could improve:
I’m on a trip with a 19 year old daughter. Having frosted glass between the shower and bedroom area was not particularly appealing to her, given it’s not completely opaque. I guess I could have done with a solid wall too. I also would have liked the slightly higher seat height toilet. I’m old, have arthritis in my back. Toilet height and maybe something to grab onto would be good. Lily was great at the front desk!

This hotel is a -2 star hotel with horrible beds and service. I had to switch rooms because of the bed. The horrible 7th floor is reserved for Expedia users, it is the worst, is where all the trash is. The church next to the hotel is beautiful but the bells will NOT let you sleep. Staff had no idea of what features and bed type a room had. They messed up everything. And they even tried to charge me for parking when I checked out and I did not have a car. Horrible experience, I will never book this crappy hotel again.
