A very good hotel, however a little more variety in the coffee shop/ bar would appeal to me….coffee, milk shakes a muffin or cake…etc and the usual beer etc.

Overall the room was great and even though i didn't have a view if the Elbe, I had a lovely view of the Christmas Market. And i couldn't hear the noise. The beds were very comfortable and spacious.

However, there was no kettle provided. The hotel bar did cocktails, but couldn't do classics like negroni. Beer was slightly pricier than bars a few minutes away. I didn't really enjoy the bar.

Lovely hotel

Stayed there for two night and booked a suite - which was so big that one can get lost in it. It has a dining area, lounge, a separate bedroom and spacious bathroom, with a view of the old town and the Elbe. It's also conveniently located - only a short walk to cross the bridge the old town. The staff was nice. I just wish I had been there in summer!

Hotel is nice, breakfast is good. Room cleaning is suspect as we found a leftover sandwich in the minibar from previous guests. Hotel is advertised as having a pool but they charge for use (7.5 EUR per person) so we didn't use it.

Clean, renovated, great view, and pandemic-safe!

Very nice hotel, great location, walking distance to Neustadt zentrum und train station, 10 minute walk to Altstadt, beautiful view from the window of the river and Altstadt, everything seems recently renovated, beautiful garden behind the hotel, nice mini bar selection, food available 24/7 in the lobby.

COVID-wise, I felt the place was VERY clean, masks required in lobby / hallways, and I felt safe the entire visit.

Only issue -- the bed was a little too firm for me, but that's completely subjective.

I would recommend and I would stay again.

Twee dagen Dresden.

De Bilderberg-keten is een fantastische hotelgroep.
Het Hotel in Dresden is daarvan een bevestiging. Rustig gelegen op de Elbe-oever vlak bij een brug op 1km wandelafstand van het oude centrum.
De kamers zijn onberispelijk, prachtige badkamer, super service en een alles omvattend ontbijt. Je betaalt misschien iets meer maar het is het waard.

The property was easy to find. The staff was very friendly and helpful upon check in as well as checking out on our last day. The room amenities were very good. The robe and slippers are a great touch. The bed was amazing and the comforters were over the top comfortable. The room was very spacious and had everything we needed with one exception. We were wishing there would have been a coffee maker or an electric tea pot in the room. We were hoping for a room overlooking the river and the city but the hotel was sold out and there were no more rooms facing the city. It was fine in the end. the breakfast buffet was amazing. The food was over the top and the staff was very accommodating to us. All interaction with the staff was very pleasant. We did have trouble parking, but the hotel made accommodations for us. the lack of an ice machine was an issue for my wife, as she likes to have ice in her beverages even if it is just water. Overall, the hotel was fantastic. When we go back to Dresden, we will definitely look first to stay at the Westin again.

Truly dreadful. The pictures you see on line are NOT what this hotel is. It is currently under a massively needed reservation. The rooms are extremely outdated and uncomfortable. The location is great, right on the river and breakfast was wonderful (we included it in our room rate). But beware that if you're looking for the nice updated rooms on the sites, you will be extremely disappointed.

At check in the gentlement was rude and not helpful.
The cleaning staff came very early and then came back late afternoon room never did get cleaned. Took a break to use the pool and ti find out at check out there is a up charge to use pool and fitness center not told this at check in or on hotel, com web site. Location was very good close to main train station ,river and sites.the breakfast was good.

Nice gardens. good location. Not the quality I expected from the web site. In need of some renovation. Paid for a grand deluxe room - I would rate it as economy. Had to move rooms as the first one had a view of the adjacent room rather than the view advertised, View claimed as over the garden to the river. Expected a lot better. On a positive the breakfast buffet had a good choice and decent quality.

Put us in a disabled room which we didn't and very rude when we wanted to change it. Most hotel don't charge for water its complimentary but they were charging. Plugs in the room didn't work and the two that was working you had to go on your knees to plug them in. The extractor fan in the bathroom didn't work. Lighting was very dim and hard to see late at night. Must say on the last two days there was different reception staff and their service and patience was excellent and so apologetic when they asked how our stay was and we informed them what happened the first day. The looked up timetables and got us the quickest route to the airport. Breakfast very expensive same around the corner for €10.

Lovely hotel across the river

The Westin Bellevue was a great hotel to stay in at Dresden. The hotel overlooks the city on the banks of the Elbe River but is only a short easy walk across the bridge and you right in the heart of things. The hotel is also close to many restaurants in the new town area which was quiet and relaxing. Our room was very spacious with all required amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Previous visit in the hotel was great, we had a great room, perfect bed. This time the mattrace was spring soft and terrible to sleep. I am allergic and they head feather pillow and duvet. There was spider net in the hotel room. They charge 16 euro per day for parking, which is expensive. Otherwise hotel stuff was excellent, need to book more expensive room next time to be comfortable.

Gorgeous hotel, great location

The hotel was beautiful in an amazing area. The back door led right onto the river where there was a beer garden and paths to walk along and see a panorama view of old town. It is in a great location to explore both the old town and the new town. The room was comfortable and spacious and the bed was wonderful. The shower in the room, however, kept switching between normal temperature water, scalding hot water and cold water. The staff was friendly and accommodating even allowing me to check in early.

Good location near the Old Town.

We overall like the hotel and would return again. Disappointed on check-in I booked 2 rooms for our friends & my wife & I. One would think that would not be a problem but it was we were put on the first floor our friends on the second with a long treck to their room. We are all retired people & asked if the rooms had walk in showers answer no, bath with shower attachment.
We think they could do better.
On the plus side ordered a taxi the night before check out & it was promptly waiting spot on.

Overall, this is a nice hotel. It is a bit of a throwback (in terms of architecture and interior design) to East Germany. My only real complaint is that the beds in my room had a very spartan feel to them and the water temperature in the shower was not good. It would oscillate every two to four seconds between ice cold and scalding hot.

Wir waren innerhalb von 2 Wochen für 2 Nächte in diesem Hotel. Alles war immer sehr sauber und gemütlich. Besonders gut ist die große Auswahl beim Frühstücksbuffet. Und wenn man früh genug dran ist, kann man beim Frühstück auch noch die aufgehende Sonne über der Altstadt bestaunen. Gerne wieder!

Wir haben zwei Nächte eingecheckt. Haben uns die Altstadt von Dresden einwenig, fußläufig sehr gut zu erreichen, angeschaut.

Obwohl wir gern kleinere Hotels bevorzugen, haben wir uns auch hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Highlight war das Frühstück. Das Zimmer war sauber und modern. Vielen Danke.

Toller Aufenthalt in zentraler Lage mit leckerem Frühstück. Das gesamte Personal war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Die Gäste erschienen uns während unseres Aufenthaltes teils stur, wenn man sie grüßte. Wahrscheinlich lag das auch an der Unsicherheit der vielen internationalen Gäste. Das Angebot mit den Rabatten zu dieser Zeit hat gepasst, so dass das Hotel für uns gleich in die engere Auswahl bei der Buchung fiel und unsere eigentlichen Favoriten, die dahinter liegenden Plätze einnahmen.
Die Regelung mit der Pool-Gebühr ist gut und preislich vertretbar. Wir hatten an den drei Tagen den Pool mit Blick über die Elbe auf die Altstadt für uns fast allein und niemand störte.
Zu erwähnen sei nich die Ausstattung und der Zustand der Zimmer, was wir Beides als sehr gut und sehr gepflegt empfanden. Parkplätze waren ausreichend vorhanden und und der Preis entsprach den üblichen Gebühren in anderen Großstädten.

Das Hotel war sehr gut, gute Ausstattung und vielseitiges Frühstück.
Die Lage des Hotels ist super super gut, man ist fußläufig in der Altstadt und hat eine tolle Sicht auf die Elbe und die Altstadt.
Einzig die sparsame Ausstattung der Sauna hat uns sehr enttäuscht, sehr klein und spartanisch. Das Schwimmbad dagegen ist sehr schön.
Es war bei bestem Wetter ein toller Aufenthalt

Alles in allem ein gutes stadtnahes Hotel. Zimmer sauber und ordentlich. Frühstück gut. Personal nett. Leider die Tiefgarage baulich eng und schlecht. Beim einfahren meine Felge routiniert. Es werden E-Laden beworben, die einfach in viel zu kleinen Parknischen installiert sind, das sollte man wissen. Für 24,-€/Tag eine absolute Zumutung.
