Good hotel close to center with large rooms
Close to old town and to trams and buses. Paid parking at the hotel. Close to a supermarket. Room that we had was very big and comfortable with small kitchenette and two separate rooms which is great if you're traveling with kids. Would recommend.

The hotel is comfortable and clean, the location is good, with a supermarket (Lidl) right next door.
However, as this was my 4th hotel in 8 days, I booked it mainly because it asvertised laundry facilities, which it does not have. The closest laundry facility was a few bus stops away.
Also a few bus,stops away is the actual Altstadt (15 -20 minute walk), do the name of the hotel is,aldo borderline misleading.

The hotel is around 20 minutes away from the Old Town and pretty straightforward. The room provided to us was fairly spacious. There is no AC and we couldn't find a fan, but the weather was very refreshing so we left the windows open. The breakfast buffet was good and had various options.

A great hotel for our stay. We were three people, and the room was plenty big enough and comfortable. There was a room with 2 beds, and a separate bed in the living room with another couch, plus a kitchen with basic equipment provided.

Apartment sehr geräumig, aber Küche könnte etwas besser ausgestattet sein. Zimmer sehr sauber, nettes Personal, genügend Parkplätze, Innenstadt zu Fuß oder per Bus gut erreichbar. Einziges Minus, keine Klimaanlage und sehr warm im Zimmer. Mit offenen Fenster nachts dadurch sehr laut.

The hotel was great and within walking distance of the sites in Dresden. The room had a kitchenette and an Aldi just a few meters away. They did not restock the coffee supplies though. Otherwise I would stay there again.

This hotel was a hidden gem.. I was looking for an unexpensive stay to not blow my budget when i found this place.. Room was much much bigger than i was expecting.. And being a corner room with all the windows made it feel bigger.. Room was clean and had a free parking garage, so i felt safe and could drive out whenever i wanted to
explore.. Restaurant next door was really good Honestly i think my only complaint is that i did not stay longer to explore more.. The city seemed to have much more to offer than i first thought.. Either way when i come back, this place will get my business again..

Free parking and pet-friendly
Located in a quieter part of town, we appreciated the free parking garage and the pet-friendly policy. The only quibble we have is that our bathroom was extremely tiny, barely large enough to accommodate a standing shower and a toilet.

The stay was nice and quiet, the free parking was really good and it is located only a 20 min walk from the city centre. The I lay thing I didn’t like was my room did not have curtains on one large window so I was woken by the sun when it rose - which in October is at a reasonable time but during the summer I can imagine it would be a problem.

They would have charged me 149€ + local tax. You have charged me 174 € and I had to pay local tax on top. What an intransparent and poor service from your end. I guess, unless there is no action from your end, I cannot give you any positive feedback. Honestly spoken, I would not consider your booking service at all in future.

This was our second stay at ACHAT Hotel Comfort in Dresden. It is conveniently located
away from the City and can be reached in a short bus ride of about four stops. When you leave, it is only a short taxi ride to the main train station. Excellent buffet breakfast.

My friends and I got two double rooms while we were visiting Dresden. Dresden is an expensive city, so you are getting what you pay for with this hotel. The rooms are pretty small, so it was difficult to visit the other room, especially because we had large luggage pieces. Wifi worked good. The hotel is a short 15 minute walk from the main train station and the Altstadt. It hotel isn't in the greatest neighboor, along a main road in and out of the Altstadt, but it was fine for our group.

This was a really nice hotel with lots of storage space despite catering for mainly business visitors. They don't get many English people staying, but everyone spoke good English. There receptionist was extremely helpful when we encountered problems with our computer and had to use theirs - the Germans have a different keyboard which is hard to work!!!

Great hotel, a bit further from the Altstadt than I thought (that was my fault), with some pretty rude guests. I don't think that's really the hotel's fault, though.

Generous breakfast service and good housekeeping. Really far from the Dresden Hauptbahnhof, a lot of walking or the need to take taxis. Hotel staff understand English and speedily attend to it.

Hotel offered basic accommodation in an older building, but was clean and hotel staff was pleasant and helpful. Hotel is situated away from downtown and away from Altstad. It is close to the train station. For the money it was quite acceptable.

The hotel was a bargain. After what we paid I honestly wasn't expecting much, but we were very surprised. This was a three room-suite with hallway, king-size bed, free mineral water, kitchen (with sink, hot plate, fridge, microwave, and coffee maker), and sitting area. I would definitely stay again. Just a short walk from Dresden Hauptbahnhof and easy to get anywhere in the city with their tram network. Also a brew house is right next door!

Perfect except for the location
Spotlessly clean, generously sized rooms with impressive attention to detail, welcoming staff... Far better standard hotel than I expected for the price. But unfortunately it's 15 minutes walk away from the Old Town along a busy main road (next to Aldi and the job centre) which I didn't mind too much but may not be great for anyone planning to go back and forth to their hotel several times a day. Those with a car may find it ideal.

While the room was clean and comfortable the location was quite far for. The center of town and the train station but we knew that ahead of time so I will not complain about that. However the breakfast service was quite bad. We arrived and there were no open or clean tables. After asking somebody to clear outr tale they never came and we had to just clear the table ourselves by moving all the dirty dishes to the other side of the table. We then had to go get everything to set the table ourselves. This was after about 10 minutes of waiting. The buffet was also missing about half of the items and no coffee was available. Next time I will go out for breakfast instead.

Overall is not bad, but location is rather difficult to find the entrance. Rather silent at night. Room cannot be locked inside. No lightings in part of the corridors, this makes me scared. Definitely, I will not come is I am alone. But, breakfast is very good and recommended.

We wanted a non-smoking, but the room we 1st had was smoke filled. I had to go down the second time to demand a change, only then were they willing to make this change. The staff was cool and often uninterested in servicing their customers. The internet was very weak.

Overall, I was quite happy with this simple little hotel: The staff was friendly, the rooms clean, and the location quiet and not too far from central locations like the train station and downtown. The only slight drawback was the lack of laundry facilities and no nearby laundromats, which might be important to those wishing to stay longer.

The hotel provided spacious family facilities for my wife and two teenaged kids. It was 3 minutes from the Altstadt and well accessible by car. The hotel does not cater for lunch or dinner, but restaurants were close by. The breakfast was ample and was catered for in specific breakfast facilities.

With GPS it was easy to find. Good value. Not too far from histrical centre. Free underground parking was a bonus. We didn't use breakfast room, so can't comment. Room was clean, and well kept. We would stay there again.

It was extremely hot, with no screens or fans. Beds were hard, the bathroom tiny and not as clean as I would expect. The noise level, even with the windows closed, was really high. Our room was 10 away from the stairwell and we could hear people going up and down all night. Breakfast was minimal (bread, cold meats, coffee) and extremely expensive, so we declined it. The staff tended to ignore all guests unless approached directly. We did not meet any English speaking staff. Only positive was that the rooms other than the bath were large. Not recommended at all.

Great value but a bit noisy
I can't fault the hotel for value for money or service. It is conveniently located next to a bus stop with a frequent service into town and the main railway station is about a 10min walk away. My only complaint would be the noise from the traffic in the side street which seems to get a lot of trucks and buses in the wee small hours. It would be better if the room had air-conditioning and we didn't have to leave the windows open although I must admit that after a couple of days I was sleeping through it.

A good place to stay in Wonderful Dresden
We stayed on the sixth floor of this simple but very comfortable, clean and quiet hotel. We couldn't work out how to get to it by public transport so walked, but it was relatively close to the station. We didn't have breakfast so the price of the room was good value for money. The bus into town is just across the road. We loved Dresden and would recommend Achat as a good place to stay.

Large Apartment Hotel Room
This hotel is situated about 10 mins walk from the train station slightly away from town. Town is approx. 30 mins walk. We where back backing around Europe as a family and the location wasn't a problem as it was good value for 4 people with breakfast included booked through hotels.com. We used public transport, 6 Euros for an al day family pass and the buses stop just outside. If your on a budget then this is for you, if you like to be in the centre of town and pay the price then look elsewhere.

The hotel was outside of the old city, but directly on a bus route, only 3 stops away. Right next door was a delightful restaurant, Stammhaus, which also had an outdoor beer garden. We had a suite, which we shared with our children. There was a private bedroom, a bathroom and then the living area which was set up with the extra beds. The only odd thing was that there was a room when you first stepped in, with totally wasted space, only the bathroom was there. They could have made it a small sitting room.

Not impressed for the money
In our notes, we requested a non-smoking room with a double, queen, or king bed. I know they aren't obligated to read the notes, and they didn't. We had a room that smelled like smoke, and two twin-sized beds. The window had no screen, and was right over the dumpster on a busy street. So opening the window to cool the room (no A/C) meant flies would come in. You can hear cars at night, but it wasn't too bad. They don't have ice machines or buckets. The concierge gave us a small cup with ice. Nice effort, but failure in execution. It was also further away from the train station than I hoped. Nothing going on in the area. No restaurants, bars, banks, etc. Next time I'll spend a few dollars to be closer to the center of Dresden.

This was a very nice hotel and the restaurant next door was excellent, however, it is located on a very busy main street and it is quite noisy at night so the windows have to be closed even in the summer since there is no air conditioning.

Was good and efficient
a medium sized hotel. Got there late and not a problem with my room being available at 2am in the morning (not always so!) Good, friendly hotel staff and very efficient on wake up calls and helping out. Now ability to get a cash point at hotel (nearest was 2 miles away!) so be careful if you call a cab and don't have cash on you. Good value in Europe

Die Zimmer sind vollkommen in Ordnung nur den Teppich würde ich komplett entfernen. Die Lüftung hat mich etwas gestört aber war nicht so schlimm das man es bemängeln muss. Wenn man vom Teppich absieht,sind die Zimmer sehr sauber auch bei der Dusche war alles sehr sauber.
Die Betten sind sehr bequem wenn man es etwas weicher mag. Frühstück vollkommen ausreichend.

In der nähe vom Hauptbahnhof. Ruhig gelegen. Frühstück in Ordnung. Mitarbeiter alle sehr freundlich. Parkmöglichkeiten vorhanden. Es gibt ein Parkhaus. Kostet 9 Euro am Tag. Mit etwas glück kann man aber auch um dem Hotel herum kostenfrei parken. Zimmer sind Einfach. Für ein kurz Trip sehr zu empfehlen.

Das Hotel war nur Ersatzunterkunft, da das Hotel, indem ich ursprünglich Zimmer für meine Gäste buchte, einen Wasserschaden hatte und meine Gäste nicht einchecken konnten. Ich musste deshalb sehr schnell eine andere Unterkunft finden. Im Hotel Achat wurden dann meine Gäste freundlich empfangen, gut betreut und alle haben sich wohlgefühlt. Ich kann das Hotel weiterempfehlen.

Unterkunft war okay alles zweckmäßig. Bisschen laut wegen den Fenstern. Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommende. Die Lage ist Recht gut man kann alles gut zu Fuß erreichen (30 Minuten zur Altstadt) ansonsten sind Bushaltestelle unmittelbar in der Nähe.
