The room was great the only issue we had, the bed had hairs all over the sheets and pillows. A tower or two also had hair. I didn’t have breakfast, so I don’t have any comments on that. The rest was great.

Will definitely come back every year. We usually stay at our family's home during vacation but we were really in need of a certain amenities we don't usually get there. The staff was wonderful. Every single one of them was super attentive and polite. From the bellboy to the lobby staff. The rooms are a little dark, but very clean and comfortable. Housekeeping is great. I stayed with two kids and they always sorted out our stuff animals and made our room feel just like home. Room service Food was good, affordable and always fast. The rooftop pool was so nice and had plenty of tables and sitting areas. The view was amazing. We stayed there for 5 nights check out, went to Guadalajara for 3 days, came back for 3 nights, stayed in Puerto Vallarta and came back again to the same hotel. My kids refused to try any other hotel experiences because this one felt just like home.

Was a bit disappointed at this stay,we tried to eat from the buffet, all the food was not kept warm.
Could not understand the concept of not getting our car from parking garage through the same area we came in through, my father could not walk up all stairs so he had to walk almost a block just to get in car through the other exit.
Front desk staff never greeted us once or even bothered to looked up to acknowledge us walking in or out. The girls from housekeeping and the porter were the staff that were always very helpful and friendly.

The hotel looked good on photographs but the actual experience was different. All rooms have doors towards the inside patio, it means that if someone sneezes in the reception on the first floor you will hear it in your room on the 6th floor. A lot of noisy traffic on the side of the hotel facing the street and even the side that faces the opposing side is noisy due to the generators on that side.
Stuff is not helpful. At 2 in the morning the group of people started checking in making a lot of noises. It was impossible to sleep. Appealing to the reception and asking them to calm people people down only led to reply 'it is normal for people to be noisy during the checkin, even at 2 am.
The hotel room was so called i had to ask for a heater but the heater overcharged the room fuse and the room electricity shut off. Woke up shivering from cold and had to call maintenance.
Didn't sleep practically that night.
In the morning hotel representative called a taxi and he told that the trip would be 35-45 pesos. The taxi driver asked 70 when arrived, twice as much and the hotel representative just shrugged the shoulders and didn't intervene, not even a sorry.

Good facility but lack ammenities such as coffee maker in the room. Pool closes each monday but not noted on website. Distance to downtown center more than a mile vs what is stated on website. Lobby staff customer service oriented. Maids knocking on doors at 8am not acceptable.

Excellent downtown location. Amazing lobby with an open view of the 10 floors. Friendly staff and service is outstanding! Room was very clean and had comfortable firm foam bedding. Heated pool is on the 11th floor with a beautiful view of the city. I will definitely come back next visit.

Pros: The staff is so professional. They will do anything for you with a smile on their face. Everyone! From the receptionists, housekeepers, bell boys! The hotel offers a great pool on the roof top. Came to the hotel and both assigned rooms had a foul odor, service for exchanging those was great. then we needed to change another room because it had a smoking odor. Smoking is not allowed in the property but somehow the previous occupants smoked quite good on the room. At the third time, we were assigned our 3 rooms.
Room's amenities are quite basic but clean, the best part was the shower. we didn't noticed when we booked this hotel that the room did not have fridge, ice container, nor ice machine in the whole property.
Electronic keys and system was also a pain, for some reason our keys kept failing and we needed to replace them a lot. I think we did that at least 5-6 times in a 3 days stay.
Pool area is nice, but BE PREPARED, you will be asked to pay extra if you dare to bring any beer to the area.
Parking garage is very secured and surrounding areas are safe, there was a nearby bar from the left of the hotel that was very nice.
Bar in the hotel is tasteless, no decor and looks sad and empty.
There is an artificial area in the middle of the patio that is entirely useless, there is no access to it unless it is during restaurant hours. we were looking for an area where we could have a get together with my family to talk and playing games and there is nothing!! Very disappointed.
Overall, customer service is great but the hotel needs a huge overhaul to meet family needs. If I get back to AGS for any event, I would not select this hotel anymore.

Electronic keys and system was also a pain, for some reason our keys kept failing and we needed to replace them a lot. I think we did that at least 5-6 times in a 3 days stay.
Pool area is nice, but BE PREPARED, you will be asked to pay extra if you dare to bring any beer to the area.
Parking garage is very secured and surrounding areas are safe, there was a nearby bar from the left of the hotel that was very nice.
Bar in the hotel is tasteless, no decor and looks sad and empty.
There is an artificial area in the middle of the patio that is entirely useless, there is no access to it unless it is during restaurant hours. we were looking for an area where we could have a get together with my family to talk and playing games and there is nothing!! Very disappointed.
Overall, customer service is great but the hotel needs a huge overhaul to meet family needs. If I get back to AGS for any event, I would not select this hotel anymore.
