My initial reaction upon arrival was the place seemed a little dated, but I soon realized it was a very comfortable and clean resort. Very quiet and well maintained. All staff were very friendly and helpful.

Our overall stay was okay. The room was decent and clean, the view from our window took away from the experience (old rusty truck and junk behind the hotel).

The biggest disappointment came when we used the jacuzzi. After swimming in the pool, we quietly and respectfully entered the jacuzzi, not knowing a reservation was required. The policy was mentioned in small print, and we were genuinely unaware. An employee approached us in a sarcastic tone, asking if we were “having fun”, and informed us we needed to leave because we hadn’t reserved the space. We were respectful and quiet, and no one else had a reservation, so it felt unnecessary harsh.

It is a nice hotel. Most of the staff is very friendly. Room service is delivered quickly. The last time I stayed there, there was a bar/lounge, but on this trip I was told it was not there anymore. There is only a restaurant where you can order drinks but it's not the same. Overall, a great value. I would stay here again.

Nice location. Walkable distance to shopping mall, grocery stores, and restaurants, etc. The restaurant inside the hotel is great too. It will be great if they open little bit earlier in the morning hour. Hotel staff is always professional manner and friendly.

Good option for family, competitive cost.

Great location and internal view, large gardens and nice swimming pool. Most room have direct connection to gardens and nice view. Good location in newly commercial zone of the city, large and free parking, competitive rate. Internet has some speed issues and facilities are little old, rooms need some refurbish but not major issue. In general good for what you pay.

good location, close to town

The place is really nice. Very clean and comfortable. Stayed 5 nights and never felt like it was busy. The bar was always empty. The restaurant was always 1/2 full tops. You can walk to shops and even a casino nearby. Plenty of taxis waiting outside to take you anywhere you want to go. I would definitely stay here again when I return to Aguascalientes.

The hotel shows its age and needs a renovation. It would be OK if the rate was much lower but what I paid I could have gone to the Marriott across the street for about 10% more.
I had to stay there as this is where someone else reserved for me for a business trip.

We were in Aguascalientes for a cycling event at the Velodrome, so not business, but not really vacation either. The staff was VERY helpful. We were bringing a case of bottled water. One of the staff practically insisted that he help, carried it up to our room and then brought us a refrigerator.

Not worth the price for the room quality, the rooms smell really bad, I found two roaches in my first room and they thought I was overreacting for requesting another room, the wifi has really bad coverage, I heard it was a great hotel but I was surprised, if you want to stay in that area stay at the Marriott across the street, they have better service in general and it's super clean.

I was surprised to see such a beautiful and clean hotel. Very upscale from other hotels I have stayed at. Everyone from the front desk, doorman, bellboy, maids and room service personnel where very friendly and professional. I never expected the excellent service and attention we received during our ten day stay. The hotel is very family oriented. Easy access to the main streets. Across the street from a shopping mall and restaurants. They made our stay a very pleasant one.

I've stayed here several times. Great breakfast buffet both Mexican and US. Wonderful selection of fruit and juices, omlets, and much more.
Beautiful pool and covered outdoor area overlooking the pool where you can enjoy a drink or meal.
Lots of shopping within walking distance. Large mall plus walmart and Sam's and more.

Beautiful pool and grounds with lots of chairs by the pool to lounge in. Great breakfast buffet with custom made omelets, several different freshly squeezed juice options, etc. Next to mall. Rooms were just average, but good for the price.

Bargain business hotel in Aguascalientes

Free wi-fi in room, but signal was not the greatest - especially later in evening, when I assume more people were trying to connect; room a bit dated. Recommend asking for a room facing courtyard/swimming pool, otherwise the noise from road might be bothersome. Shopping mall within easy walking distance with many food options; buffet breakfast was very good. Marriott across highway probably a better choice, but Hotel Las Trojes a better bargain.

All the staff was very helpful. they are really interested in keeping guests for life.
My only complain: please improve WIFI signal. I stayed in room 251 and the signal was weak.
anyways, I definitely would choose Las Trojes Hotel again.

Best Hotel in Aguascalientes

I have to say that service in all hotel areas was first class. All personal are customer satisfaction oriented. The room was clean and spacious.
Food was amazing , I tried 5 different meals and I was impressed.
The hotel is a cross street from a big shopping center.
For sure I will came back to this hotel

Sleepless nights in Aguascalientes

Stay was good but the hotel has 1 central air conditioner which keeps ALL the rooms at the same temperature and if the 1 central air malfunctions ALL the rooms are without air. I spent a miserable nigh because the setting was too high/hot for my comfort and the night time front desk said there was nothing they could do because only the daytime manager could change the setting.

Las Trojes Hotel was great, in the center of many great attractions in Aguascalientes. Check in was a breeze the room was super clean and comfortable bed. The other great feature of this hotel was they offer a buffet at very reasonable price and their food options were great!!! I will be staying here again.

The front desk had an attitud because the reservation was made thru hotels .com and they prefer customers that make reservations directly with them.
They are in the midst of renovating their rooms so there's construction noise. Service from housekeeping, room service, laundry services was outstanding.

back to Las Trojes! -- good choice!

I stayed there for the first time, last September. It was ok, then -- but even better now -- which is likely a testimony to the changes occurring in Aguascalientes (ie., more foreign clients coming in) They had gone through some renovations (from the last time I was there) and also the staff were even more friendly, cheerful & helpful than before!! Room is comfortable. The food there is \"ok\" --workable, for breakfasts, late dinners, etc -- but, at the same time, it's right next to several big malls, where there's a lot of opportunity to eat (ie., Sanborn's, YIPS, Carl's Jr, etc) The hotel itself is a little far from the airport; on the other hand, it's a direct route, as the hotel itself is directly* at a crossroads with the expressway. The gym is awfully small, but there is also a pool .....the sliding doors in my room, opened up at the back, to this area -- tranquility, relaxing! Would definitely stay there again!

I stayed 7 nights at las trojes. Had great service! Rooms are way smaller then U.S hotels but was clean. Hotel looked nice. The only issue I had was that the toilet leaked a little when you flushed it and sometimes when you walked in it would smell. But is probably the second best hotel in Aguascalientes!

I used to stay in this hotel when I was a kid, I remembered it with a smile Cause this hotel is very close to my uncle's, it's next to the biggest mall on the city and it had great installations (pool, huge garden and Tenis courts), this time I was disappointed with the room, it doesn't have a minibar, you can't make calls from your room to anywhere outside the hotel, and the room service closes at 10:30 pm... Even though the price of this hotel is the best in the zone

Hotel staff was very helpful & suggested various local 'tourist' attractions that I otherwise would have missed (as AGS is more of an industrial town). Great location of hotel, with easy highway access to either airport or local businesses! Food in restaurant was \"ok\", a bit pricey for its quality -- but -- the hotel is next to several shopping malls (for restaurants) as well as some local Mexican eating joints. Easy taxi access, about 15 minutes to downtown. Small gym for 'mini' workouts, a lovely pool (my room backed onto the pool, which I loved!). Wireless might be free, but almost impossible to access late nights -- so, get up early in the morning ;). There's an Office Depot nearby for any major photocopying. The staff was great, and accommodating in many ways.

Call to see if the air conditioning was fixed

My wife and I stayed 3 nights. The hotel itself was nice, but we were informed on check-in that the air-conditioning was not working. Since it was about 90 degrees that day, it would have been much better had it been working. They suggested we move from the king size bedroom to one with 2 full size beds to put us on the cool side. So, we were effectively downsized. They promised us a fan that day, but it didn't show up. We did get one the second day, via the efforts of the cleaning staff. They were great.

The hotel restaurant serves a pretty good breakfast buffet. But I was disappointed in the dinner, and the Margaritas from the bar weren’t worth ordering another. But, there are plenty of close options to eat and drink.

The air-conditioning was out during our entire stay. I would certainly call and find out if it was fixed before booking a room here. Definitely not worth the $200+ a night as is.

This hotel provides you with a resort atmosphere in Aguasclientes, Mexico.

Customer service is high on the list of all staff.

The pool area and grounds provide a quiet and relaxing atmosphere with plenty of trees and flowers to add to the beauty.

This is a beautiful hotel. I have stayed at the Marriott across the street and it is stark and has a Jetson's science fiction style to it. Las Trojes has some old world flavor and is on a \"human scale\". Las Trojes was custom designed by an architect where even the furniture is matched to the room. The pool and lounge area are absolutely gorgeous and the grounds are equally beautiful. Highly recommended for those that are looking for something a little different from another American style hotel.
