Friendly staff, the manager knew my name. The entire check-in was miraculously easy - Are you so&so? - Yes I am. - Welcome, here is you key, room # is to the right. That was it. Big smile from the manager lady and cannot-be-simpler blasting speed check-in bit any 4- & 5-star hotel I have been to. In other words, easy going relatable approach goes a long way. the hotel room was neet and appeared nicely renovated. All rooms are at the upper level of a big estate, which is a big dinning venue downstairs.
The hotel itself is part of a vibrant local community with shops and cafes around. No noise issues in the room. 2 free vouchers for drinks at the sport bar downstairs. Room 8 was very noisy, we spoke to Rachel, who spoke to the Manager and upgraded us to a Queen size ocean view front with no issues what so ever.

Clean and comfortable room with access to shared balcony, suitable for our overnight stay, which was the last leg in our coastal journey from Victoria and up the NSW coastline. We stayed on a Thursday night so minimal disturbance from facilities below. Warm, welcoming check in and loved the free drink vouchers, great after a days travel. Food was amazing from bistro below, a definite winner there! Within walking distance to beach and ocean which was lovely to explore. This place is all about location and great for all travellers.

The room and main entrance area all need upgrading as they feel outdated compared to the restaurant section of the hotel. Average rating for cleanliness, some parts felt a little bit grubby. Food on site was excellent and nice to have received a free drinks voucher on arrival. Plenty of free parking on site and nearby.

Sadly, this was a very disappointing booking. The property is in need of repairs and general maintenance. Our balcony ceiling was slowly collapsing but made for a good bird nest. The bathroom is very tired with a minuscule sink and shower that leaks onto the floor. The room was fairly small and dark. The air conditioner swivel vane was partially broken. Finally, the hallway door was missing the closer, so it was propped open allowing the music from the bar to emanate into the room. Along with road noise, we slept with our earplugs. Only positive was proximity to the water.

We had a lovely stay here, we had a large room with a balcony. It was walking distance to shops and beach. We were also given a drinks ticket each and as we happened to be there on a Monday, they had an offer of steak, chips, salad and a drink for $20 and it very nice and excellent value for money. Would definitely stay here again

The rooms are extremely tiny! The balcony roof was filling down and bits of wood on the ground covering damage to the floor.
As a smoker, its common sense that every accommodation will not allow you to smoke in the room. However when booking a room with a balcony you would assume (there was NOTHING written in the property info) that you could smoke on the balcony.
I wouldn't recommend staying here unless some serious renovations are done on there rooms.

So close to Huskinson Beach. The bed and pullows were comfortable in Queen room. Sink in bathroom was very small without vanity so it was a bit awkward. Price was worth it for sure. I'd go back.

In general, our room appeared clean however there was amassed and obvious dust built up on the picture above the bedhead, the fire alarm and the ceiling fan in particular. All good except we were about to leave the room for check out, it was 9.57 am and the housekeeping staff person knocked on the door then attempted to open it and I said to her we were just leaving and she turned her nose up and walked away without a word. We were out of the room by 9.59 am. No need for rudeness.

We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. The front of the hotel was plain but the rooms were well maintained and neat and clean. Through the back of the hotel was a great bistro and Pavilion and outdoors area which would be beautiful on a sunny day. We would stay there again as it wasnt expensive.

A pleasant spot for an overnight stay. Right on Main Street, easy to find, an easy walk to downtown and the waterfront. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room and bathroom are small (don’t bring too much luggage!), but the room gives you access to a large covered balcony. Restaurant and food are recommended.

Check in took too long - you walk in to a good service area and don’t expect to be seen quickly. Staff left us waiting with our bags in the restaurant with people collecting their food form the hotel ‘reception’ for half an hour while sorting out their paperwork. The room was clean and ok but the noice form kitchen air extractors was terrible. Also we were woken up but loud banging noises at 3 or 4 in the morning with some offloading going on outside. The noice kept going all morning with a digger arriving around 8 to dog some hole in the garden. Basically, if you plan to have some sleep - this is not a place to be.
