My stay at Central Park Reef Resort was absolutely beautiful from start to finish.

The first thing that truly stood out was the view .. breathtaking bay scenery that made every moment feel peaceful and luxurious. Our room was just as impressive: spotless, spacious, and beautifully maintained. You can tell they really care about cleanliness and presentation.

But what made the experience exceptional was the staff. Every single person we encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. They were always smiling, always greeting us with a cheerful “Good morning” or “Good afternoon,” which made us feel so welcomed and cared for throughout our stay.

And breakfast with that view? Amazing. Starting the day with delicious food while overlooking the water was the perfect touch.
Overall, Central Park Reef Resort delivered not just a stay, but an experience. Beautiful views, beautiful rooms, and truly outstanding service. We can’t wait to come back.

The room was big, spacious & clean & check-in was smooth. The bed was comfortable but the air conditioning unit was noisy. The bathroom was clean, big & inviting.
The breakfast offering could have been better if the coffee was refillable for a second cup.
The food & drinks on level 6 in the evening was excellent. Even the food I ordered from room service was plentiful & delicious.
However, the most basic of things were not complimentary & I found that strange & annoying.
I asked for an extra pillow & I was told that it was chargeable per pillow per day. The ironing board was chargeable and the iron was not included. The local food that was ordered comes with rice to compliment the fish but here you had to pay for the rice.
One gets the impression that this otherwise nice hotel is trying to fleece customers for many amenities that hotels of a similar category would be complimentary.

We stayed here last night and would like to share some feedback. Unfortunately, we noticed a cockroach in our room (with photo) and there were also quite a few mosquitoes during our stay. We understand that these things can happen, but since this seems to be a common concern mentioned in other reviews, we hope management can look into it and make improvements. Guests would truly appreciate having an insect-free room for a more comfortable stay.

The hotel is newer in Barrio Barreto and is close to bars and restaurants. They have two pools that has a great view of Subic bay. The rooms can use better pillows and they only give one pillow per person and when I asked for additional pillow, I’m told there is a charge. The lobby, elevator, and hallways has no air condition which makes it unpleasant to stay there other than your room. If management resolves these areas I mentioned, I would give it a 5 star.

This resort is adjacent to the beach and it appears that all room have a view of the ocean and a small balcony, but I am not absolutely sure of this. My room had a modern and attractive design, although it is showing signs of wear and tear and could use some touch up work to repair minor damage to surfaces and paint. The room had a noisy AC unit and when I asked the front desk to address this, they sent a maintenance man promptly who said the noise could not be reduced. Thereupon, the front desk staff offered me another room that was much better. The hotel has two places for dining with each having a swimming pool, which was nice. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. All in all, this was a very nice place to stay.

Best hotel in Subic but not perfect

It’s the nicest hotel in Subic , but it has its issues , the wifi was terribly slow and unreliable I couldn’t even stream a song without it buffering . , the hotel pools are amazing but the beach is so gross garbage everywhere and sewage being dumped into it from nearby stream , some advice to the hotel if you want to invest in your future , hire someone to clean up the garbage on the beach , I know it’s not your fault but it DOES affect your guest experience and willing to return .
How much does it really cost to pay someone the Low minimum wage to spend the day cleaning up the mess on the beach right next to you. Anyways I still think it’s the best hotel here which isn’t saying much because the other hotels I’m Subic leave a lot to be desired also . It gets 4 stars almost entirely because of the pools which are once in a lifetime experience

We tried two different rooms and each one had major issues. The first one was worn with wallpaper coming off in spots, tv never worked well, there was no hot tub on property.

The next night I upgraded to a Jacuzzi room and the tub didn't work, there was a layer of dust on the furniture, a couple of cobwebs on the walls.

Check in was super easy. My flight arrived at 6am and I arrived at the property at about 11. Check in wasn't until 3pm but they had a room ready and was able to accommodate me as I was tired. The front desk staff were super friendly and handled my every need. Bell service was available to handle my bags that was great. I got one of the less expensive rooms but it was still large with a king bed and a partial view of Subic Bay. I was happy. The only thing missing was a microwave. I had left overs from the restaurants and couldn't heat them. There is a fridge with a stocked mini bar with things for purchase. There were chips, several types of beer, coke, sprite, milk and a couple types of juice. I ate several times at the two restaurants. They have large menus and the food was very good. Service was fine and about what you'd expect. Overall the value was pretty good and I'd stay again.

The hotel is in a great location (if you like Barrio Barretto), right on the beach. It is one of the grander hotels in the entire area, with some unique features. This hotel could be great, but the staff ruined it for me. I had lots of problems and the staff always seemed apathetic. They never followed up to see if the problem was fixed or showed any sympathy and didn't communicate well. E.g., the wifi didn't work for many hours; I had to call many times and threaten to check out to get anything done. One day they forgot to clean my room and when I asked for housekeeping at 4:45 and they said they couldn't because it stops at 5 PM. The next time I tried to be proactive by calling at 2 PM to ask to clean my room. They said \"sure\" but nobody ever showed up. I called back two hours later but nobody answered the phone. I gave up. It really shouldn't be this hard. And so on.

Other problems... If I ever left any food in the room, it would be swarming with ants a few hours later, even if the bag was tied. The room was missing a lot of amenities you'd expect at this price...they didn't have Kleenex, bathrobe, hand towel, or tea bags. Oh, and they wanted 50 pesos for some ice (unlike almost every other hotel I've been to). To be honest, I was happy to leave.

Anyone who travels around Asia knows that the number four is an unlucky number. It’s also well understood that the number 13 is unlucky. Well, I had room 413. I don’t like to write negative reviews. I really don’t. I’ll tell it like it is though. The people who checked me in Yes I say people rather than the professional staff, seemed rather offputting and unwelcoming. I was treated like I was checking in. Well no I wasn’t. I wasn’t treated like I was checking in for a bus because frankly victory liner bus service does a better job. They’re more professional. The room was broken. Damage the door frame to the bathroom, a leaking AC unit and a chair that was well worn up against the desk. If you could see the AC unit in action, it was quite impressive. If it was to fill a tank for water consumable water that is it would probably feed a family of 12 for a week after only one night stay. It was terrible. It’s a wonder that the floor hasn’t come up yet.

Property is probably the best one in the area. The facility itself can probably use an updating with cleaning up the place a little better. You can tell it's getting old and not very shiny in some places like the restroom. Was really disappointed with the food. Ordered a soup and they gave it to us luke warm. Everyone knows you don't serve soup like that but what really upset me was watching the staff eat their soup for lunch which i saw there soup steaming hot. Hot soup for them and cold soup for the guests. Not cool.

Booked here and then read a lot of recent bad reviews….my experience was the exact opposite. All the staff were extremely friendly. Anything I needed was dealt with as quickly as possible. I had a jacuzzi suite- jacuzzi worked great, the room ahead an incredible view, room service was affordable and quick, front desk staff arranged taxi service for me, air conditioning worked great and I didn’t see any bugs. Sure there are locals trying to sell souvenirs-but that’s everywhere in the Philippines! I bought some cool bracelets off a guy on the beach. I’m not too into clubbing, but if you are there’s a lot of nightlife. I chose to stay in and enjoy my room most of the time. Would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat! 10/10

Decent location but has some small quirks

We had an ongoing leak with our bathroom bidet that finally got resolved the night we checked in. They had to come to our room 2x to change out the hose.

Large bath towels were in decent condition but when we requested face towels, they were subpar. Very grey and missing fabric.

Rooftop pool is closed all day until 4:00PM! Crazy! So when the sun is out, you can’t get se the pool. The staff at the rooftop restaurant are unattentive and very very slow! Ground floor restaurant which is open for breakfast is excellent and has attentive friendly staff. Hotel is clean and in excellent condition, all other staff are helpful and considerate.

Why is the best amenity (the rooftop pool) closed all day? Every day??

The cleanliness was very good. The staff did not share smiles. At least some did not. Only 2 things i was NOT pleased about.. 1- The restroom smelled very foul.. It was very difficult to tolerate the smell while taking a shower.. 2- The TV did not work. I was only there for a day. Im sure this is not the experience of all guests

Its not bad. But there's a lot of room for improvements. Price is quite reasonable but needs to improve a lot in the reception because its the first impression of the guest that matters, especially after travelling from a long distance or abroad. Maybe put some drinking water or maybe put some soothing sound system or change the ambience of the lobby as it looks and feels like a factory.

She was very unprofessional, unaccomodating…she lacks basic skills to politely deal with customers. She needs to be fired ASAP because shes a disgrace to the hotel and the paying customers of which she is supposed accommodating and polite to.

Great hotel except my room was bugged!

I checked in and went to my room, but discovered that the key wouldn't open the door. I was reissued a another key and I dropped off my luggage. I returned to my room later and discovered large bugs crawling on the bathroom floor. Soon after, I noticed bugs also on the walls in the bedroom area. I requested a different room and was satisfied thereafter!
