Everything about this place isn't 4 star. This is a basic Lodge that purports to be something more. The luxury room is tired and dated. The table leg was broken. The air conditioner leaked water and the room had insects everywhere when i arrived. The staff don't share details of what is available where. It's just about making money.

We stayed here for our last night in Windhoek. It was a nice place to come and rest before a big flight. We were in a luxury tent, which we didn’t realize was at the far end of the property of all amenities, like the restaurant and pool. Not a huge deal because they do offer porter services to drive you to and from your tent to the reception/main area. We ended up walking which was only about an 5 minute walk, but would be difficult for someone with mobility issues. Our tent was clean, the restaurant was busy and had good food. The property is clean and quiet and felt very safe with two security gates. Overall, a nice place to stay for a night passing through Windhoek

Happy to wake up to the sounds of birds

We stayed in a luxury tent LTC1 near the road. I was worried about road noise, but some earplugs at night solved everything. My husband and I had a great time, waking up to the sound of birds chirping every morning, we saw so many different kinds. The whole property was very well manicured like a desert garden. Loved the ability to grill. I would highly recommend!

Luxury tents are nice, there is A/C and beds have electric heated mattress. Be aware that insulation is not the best as these are tents therefore during winter it will get cold. The bathroom attached to the tend is very spacious and nice. There is a grill for bbq, a minibar (outside), cutlery and an electric water pot for coffee/tea.

Within easy distance of Windhoek and only 40 minutes from the main airport. Great grounds for birdwatching or just sitting and relaxing on your veranda. Friendly staff and very clean.
The only downside was not enough chefs in the kitchen had to wait an hour for our meal.

Staying at Arebbusch Lodge is always a pleasure. This time round we stayed in 'the square' which has its own wifi, parking and swimming pool. Fantastic! The rooms are huge, clean, with a full bouquet of DSTV channels and your choice of tub or shower. There was a comfy armchair in the room and plenty of desk space for working. Outside there is a table and four chairs and the view looks out on the square, in the centre of which is the pool. We did not eat lunch or dinner in the restaurant, but the breakfast had everything you'd expect in a buffet.

I stayed in the permanent tent facility . it is well equipped , but we did not realize the location is near a busy highway. the noise during the night was terrible and we could not sleep. I will make use of the venue in the future , but stay in a chalet that is further from the road and reduces noise pollution

The resort is in top condition with no stone left unturned to uplift the quality and beauty. Staff are extremely friendly and helpfuand the restaurant is great. The luxury tented camps have too little light, unless you open a window - from the outside - to be exposed to any passer-by. It would be nice if there was a kettle and cups to at least make yea or coffee before leaving the room. It has a lovely sitting area outside to enjoy with the coffee! We'll be back soon and try out one of the chalets.

I've stayed here twice before. This time i chose a luxury tent and it looked fantastic. Huge bathroom, nice outside sitting area etc. But sadly the tent had a chemical smell possibly from the new canvas. The biggest problem was traffic noise. All night, and very intrusive. The final negative was the terrible Wi-Fi connection. Useless, yet they claim it works. It's such a pity to write negatively as this is a very well maintained place with nice staff

Stopped over to get on a flight the next morning. Very basic lodge. The room was ok. The bathroom was difficult to get in and out of as the door swings to the toilet. The bright light outside stays on all night which shines through the gabs of the window blinds.

Having the kitchen, toilet and bedroom all in one is not my idea of ‘family’ accommodation, not even a chair to sit on, WiFi advertised but non existent, this should be advertised as a definite ‘one nighter’ to catch ones breath before embarking on ones journey to explore Namibia or heading back home. The DSTV spoken of was also barely that! The restaurant area was peaceful and pleasant enough, the buffet lunch we had was good enough, not much of a selection though and warm to cold rather than hot. The kids play area was poorly lacking and not a place a child would want to play. Upon enquiring about more suitable accommodation for a family of three, they were fully booked and when we asked for suggestions regarding our request with other establishments we were told if we were looking for luxury there is a Safari hotel just up the road. Suffice to say we ended up checking out early.

Feeling like be in the bush

Although close tot he city it feel that you are in bushes and you can relax. You do not really experience the other guest and the rooms are private. The restaurant is very good and we enjoy the breakfast every morning.
They are good in catering for inviting other friends over for cocktails or lunches.

Perfect hotel to stopover near Windhoek

Stayed for one night on arrival in Namibia and at the end of trip in different type of room. One was a room overlooking the pool and the other a chalet further from the main block. There is also a camping site and larger bungalows all set in beautiful gardens. Whole site is fenced with an attended security gate and direct access onto the Windhoek bypass making it easy to reach airport and other destinations. Has a great restaurant serving large portions and varied menu with nice outside area.
Although situated next to domestic airport there are no night flights. Has a conference centre and used by business guests.

Overall a pretty decent stay for the price. The place was like a chalet/resort with good security in place. Just stayed the night before heading out of Windhoek so just satisfied that it was a comfortable stay. Seemed to be pretty much on the southern fringes of the city but didn't head out to explore so not too sure about the location

We payed for a standard chalet, but while we were checking in the manager upgraded us to the Luxury Chalet (LC2). It was awesome! Staff was friendly and the whole place was very organised and clean. The resteraunt was very good as well and reasonably priced. Can't go wrong here.
