The place to stay in Ragusa
Centrally located, quiet, safe and comfortable, this is a great place to stay when visiting Ragusa. The rooms are beautifully remodeled and located within UNESCO buildings along a pedestrian streetscape. The communal grounds are amazing with beautiful gardens, a great pool (although unheated), and views of the surrounding area. A very nice breakfast is served in their communal breakfast room overlooking the gardens. The main town square is just a short walk away. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking and driving in this hill town can be a little tricky but street parking was fairly easy to find adjacent to the hotel. Highly recommended.

What a beautiful little place right at the heart of Ragusa Ibla. Lovely welcome by staff who showed us where to park for free. The room was a good size, tasteful with a nice modern bathroom. Beautiful towels. Great WiFi - good coverage. The place as a lovely little pool, a great garden full of fruit trees. The breakfast was beautifully laid out and we were offered freshly cooked eggs. Cereals, fruit, meat, cheese and pastries. It’s a family run venture and the couple in charge were lovely

This hotel is perched above the town and has a beautiful garden filled with fruit trees, and views of the duomo, town and valley. It's a lovely, quiet place and it even has parking about 5 minutes up the hill, which is impossible to find in Ragusa Ibla. The staff are very gracious, and the breakfast was delicious. The room was so quiet, and the bed was very comfortable with a mattress topper. We highly recommend it.

A very nice place to spent a few days. Right in the middle of the good walking areas. Rooms are quite and comfortable. Beds are very good. Breakfast is very good. You ask them to cook the eggs how ever you like them. The grounds are kept in excellent shape. The gentleman who runs the place is very helpful and welcoming. Parking is on the street in front of the hotel or about 200 mt up in a city parking area.

There are not enough positive words in the English language to express my love for this hotel. The property, the rooms, the breakfast, the staff, the neighborhood....it is all perfection! I wish I could live here permanently. I cannot think of anything that would have made our stay better beyond being able to stay longer.

Lovely bed and breakfast above the Duomo in Ragusa Ibla. Delicious breakfast, great location with nice views from the garden, which also has a pool. The only drawback is it’s difficult to find because of all the one way streets and poor directions on Google/Apple maps!

This hotel is situated in a central area near the top of the stunning Ragusa Ibla, around tiny windy streets and steep steps, with stunning views over the Duomo and surrounding countryside. It really is a magical area and the hotel is a little oasis of calm. Nice big rooms and very clean. The breakfast was nice and the staff members were really helpful and friendly- couldn’t have asked for more!

Nice location in the old town of Ragusa which is where you want to be - so could walk to all the highlights easily from here. The rooms are split out onto several floors so be prepared for lots of step. The room was nice but very dark so was happy there was access to a beautiful garden where you could sit and enjoy a drink. There was free parking and plenty of spaces at the top of the hill so dump the luggage at the entrance and then keep driving up.

Unfortunately there is a mistake in the description of the comfort room type that we booked as it says on Expedia that it has a balcony but the room we had does not have balcony. Michele the owner was apologetic and ensure the website will be updated accordingly.
We stayed two nights and it would be good to replenish the body wash as we will only given 2 bottles when we checked in and they were not replaced when the room was cleaned on the second day.
Also there is no onsite parking so will need to park along a narrow street outside the hotel (lucky if you can find a space) or park in a parking lot which is a distant away.

This hotel was on the hill above the Duomo just a short walk to main piazza and pedestrian zone. The rooms are minimally decorated. There is a subtle elegance to walls and ceiling we did not notice at first. Our room had a lovely large shower a real treat after so many tiny ones. We enjoyed an afternoon reposo by the pool and garden overlooking the hills. It was so relaxing under the orange blossoms sipping a complimentary bottle of wine! The breakfast each morning was delicious too. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Great location in old Ragusa. Walking in the old streets, shopping and eating were delightful pastimes. It was a little hard to find at first because of the narrow one way streets. Michael, the owner, was so friendly, helpful, and made our stay the best. The hotel garden was calm and with the many fruit trees smelled heavenly. All in all staying here was delightful.

Too cold for me to hit the pool, but two in our party loved it. Great location, just a minute walk from the main piazza and duomo. Importantly, parking was easily available right outside the property. Our host Micaela was most helpful with any questions, parking, ZTL information, etc. He and his staff were so nice! Great breakfast as well. Would definitely stay here on a return trip.

The property is in a great location very close to the centre of Ragusa Ibla and with wonderful views down the valley from the garden and pool area. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. Driving to the property initially was tricky as Google maps were unreliable in the small local streets but parking was easy near the property once we had found it. We were given an upgrade to a better room for two nights when we arrived which was good. Regarding the bottle of wine your correspondence says we were entitled to we were unaware about that and so were the proprietors I think. Frankly we weren’t bothered. We had an upgrade on our room which was better for us and the property was a great place to stay

Absolute gem nestled on the side of a hill top - a bit of a white knuckle driving experience getting to and from Ragusa but we’ll worth it - as was the three years and 5 rearranged trips due to COVID. The staff were incredibly helpful…my husband became ill and we had to figure out, in the middle of the night, how to find the local ER. They told us which hospital to go to, offered to call an ambulance, and worked with us for a late check out since we discharged late from the hospital. We booked this hotel because of the swimming pool, but sadly it was cold so we could not use it. The hotel was fine, and the staff very friendly. They gave us access to a free parking. The breakfast was also very generous.
The only downside is that you could hear the people in the room next door. They came back at 3 am and woke us up.

Couldn’t fault the hosts or the cleanliness, only gripes would be that the air con seemed to be stuck at a very low setting in the room and there weren’t enough plug sockets. Giardino sul Duomo is an extraordinary little B&B, and reason enough to make a visit to Ragusa, especially if you are in Sicily. It consists of 14 rooms around a 400-year-old landmark garden, with fruit and nut trees, flowers and a pool, Giardino Sul Duomo's owner, Michele, who said he was 33, has created a wonderful peaceful world in this beautiful hilltop city in southeastern Sicily. Most of the town is walkable, and there are sweet parks, shops, nice restaurants and a great ambience. Our room was large, well-appointed, and had a big bathroom with a Jacuzzi. Breakfast was great, in a dining room overlooking the garden, and Michele's restaurant suggestions were perfect. The location in Ibla was great for sights, and the price was reasonable for the level of luxury. We came off-season, but the place was nearly full. It's definitely worth booking ahead.

Wonderful place to stay!
This was one of our favorite B&B's in Sicily. Everything was great about it. Michele, the owner, is really nice and he even came and got us when we got to Ragusa Ibla and could not figure out where we were. (Note: GPS only works from time to time in Sicily, Google maps better.) The location was walking distance to everything. We were right around the corner from Ciccio Sultano's Michelin two star restaurant. The wifi was super fast. Wish we could have stayed at least another day. We would definitely stay here again and we highly recommend.

This lovely hotel was the crowing glory of our holiday. It was unexpectedly charming, with breathtaking views from the terrace that I will never forget.
