The room was fine. Go to this accommodation for the location, the pool and spa, and especially, the breakfast. This breakfast was the best meal we had on our whole holiday. We were offered both sweet and savoury items, including home-made ricotta that arrived warm inside a bamboo tube and a mulberry granita. It was very special. If I had my time over again I'd stay longer.

Absolutely recommend this property - the pool and terrace is a wow, and so welcome after travelling. Plus an honesty bar to enjoy. The location being close to the square, the room was clean neat and comfortable. The breakfast was carefully and thoughtfully prepared with local produce, fresh ricotta straight from the farm. Our hostess even sourced fresh gluten free rolls and croissants for breakfast. Such a treat! Highly recommend.

Simply the best place to stay in Ragusa.

So I stayed here at the end of July and really enjoyed my stay. Firstly I was driving but don't worry as there's plenty of safe parking and the instructions are super clear when you get there. Just park up, get your luggage our and settle in then move your car up the road. I can't imagine a better place to stay and Giovanna was just so lovely and helpful. She made me feel special and I had so many lovely home made things to eat at breakfast. Giovanna cares about service and looking after the place and the environment. The views are stunning and it's only a few minute walk into the centre. Also because it's small there's not lots of people - I had the pool to myself most of the time. From the moment you get there you'll feel relaxed and will just enjoy the slow pace. I'm sure you'll enjoy it just as much as me.

The property is in an excellent location, minutes walk to the duomo piazza yet tucked away on a quiet street. You can park in front to unload your luggage and then the host will direct you to free parking that is close by.

The garden and pool are spectacular as they overlook the valley. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable.

The delicious breakfast was served in the garden with amazing views by an incredibly attentive host and staff.

If we get back to Ragusa Ibla, would absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful property run by extraordinarily kind and friendly people. Setting is great-wonderful view and the garden with jacuzzi, hammocks, and water feature you can sit in is just super charming and relaxing. Custom crafted breakfast served by Lisa is amazing. Very close to central lower Ragusa makes it easy to walk to restaurants and sights. Parking is on a nearby street and plaza, so while not on site, it’s very doable. Our rather small room was on the street, but it wasn’t too busy so we slept well. Other rooms are larger. If we’re ever in Ragusa again we’ll make sure to book early for one of the rooms off the street and this will make this the absolutely PERFECT place to stay anywhere in Sicily.

The best room of our 16 day trip to Eastern Sicily

We had an amazing time in Ragusa at La Casa del gesumina. The b and b was close to the center, walking distance to many sites and restaurants and also to the bus stops for the beach and Ragusa Superiore. The breakfasts were unforgettable and the best we have had anywhere. The warning “leave room for the cake!” Heralded a different surprise every day including caffe granite in a sweet roll, a fruit covered tart and others. This was after we had our savory breakfast including fresh ricotta daily from a local farm which we mixed with local honey. Everything was superb. The garden included a hot tub which was lovely in the evening as well as a shallow pool to keep you cool during the hot day. It was perfect!

This place is an absolute must if you are staying in Ragusa, the natural pool is like paradise, the breakfast was stunning and the hosts are superb.

We arrived early but were able to check in and make the most of the sun in the garden which is just perfect, you can sit under cover in comfortable seats, relax on loungers or in hammocks or lie in the natural looking pool and enjoy the jets.

The room was really clean and comfortable, parking was directly outside and the breakfast was plentiful, with lots of local produce and freshly made juice and bread.

It is about a one minute walk away from the centre of the old town, but lovely and quiet in the evenings and so serene and peaceful in the garden with spectacular views. I would thoroughly recommend staying here.

My wife and I stayed for six nights. Beautiful garden, nice bedroom and fantastic breakfast. The proprietor Giovanna and her team were excellent. Wonderful breakfast included. The garden has a romantic terrace, hot tub and plunge pool and hammocks. Central location in Ragusa Ibla, the historical and romantic part of Ragusa city. Short walk to restaurants, cafés, small supermarkets and gelaterias and bus stop for downtown and beach at Ragusa Marina. The B&B has a fridge to store drinks and robust Wi-Fi.

Hope to visit again one day....

Wonderful! The best breakfasts served on a lovely terrace overlooking the amazing pool. Friendly, helpful hosts who helped us sort out the buses for our trips out and recommended a good restaurant nearby. The beautiful pool was wonderful to relax in the afternoon, only just deep enough to dip your shoulders but being shallow meant that even in May it soon warmed up in the sun - towels were provided to use in the pool and jacuzzi. Our room was clean, the bed comfortable, you could help yourself to water from the fridge downstairs. I can't wait to go back!

It’s not easy to get to but once you get there the place is very clean and has an excellent view. The dinner place Johana recommended, the name might be the Fish a More, had excellent food and wine. Also, breakfast they made for us including the fresh Ricotta cheese was one of the very memorable meals that I had this trip.

If you visit Ragusa and you are lucky enough to be able to book this hotel, this is the cosiest place we've ever been to. The breakfast is genius and so are all the other arrangements!

Paradise

Usually the term “hidden gem” is overused but not this time! It is truly stunning! A pool in the middle of historical Ragusa is lovely and the garden is so welcoming and relaxing.
I can’t wait to visit again!
AC in the room, shower worked great and the bed was very comfy.
