This beach front resort is absolutely beautiful. Ana greeted us warmly at the reception desk. Our room was very spacious. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! It was nice to have breakfast and lunch included in the price. We appreciated having the opportunity to change the set menu for dinner if we wanted. The Masai security workers deterred solicitors while lounging on the beach at the resort. I highly recommend this resort.

This was hands down the most amazing stay I have ever had. My wife and I chose this resort for our honeymoon and we would do it over again a million times. The staff, location and over all experience was unbeatable. They did everything humanly possible to make our stay truly incredible and we could not have asked for more. The grounds are beautiful and feel very safe, cozy and clean. Our driver did a wonderful job at transporting us to various events off resort and was truly an incredible person. I will be recommending this place to every single friend and family member that is willing to travel 31 hours outside the United States.

The staff is very kind and helpful, rooms are beautiful and clean, bedding is perfect.
The hotel and the beach are really calm which is perfect for relaxing.
The food served in the hotel is very good and the home made cocktails are delicious :)

Paradise found

We have just returned from a perfect stay at Next Paradise. Located on the most beautiful, quiet beach with an under developed charm that still allows the local population to live life as they have always done. The hotel successful aims for a relaxed vibe with attentive service, excellent food and very high standards of upkeep and cleanliness. Our room was a cool and relaxing oasis. Lovely touches included delivery of breakfast and hot drinks to your room for no extra charge, remembering your preferred drinks, substituting food without fuss from the impressive daily menu and surprising us with a beach pavilion dinner on our last night. We would highly recommend this lovely hotel.

Peaceful paradise on the beach

Beautiful location right on top of a white sandy beach. Real getaway. Great rooms, thanks for the upgrade! Exceedingly friendly staff, although a few service hits and misses. Would like to see more traditional options on the restaurant menu.

Nice refuge in an isolated location

Was a super lovely place to spend time if all you want to do is lay in the sun or on the beach, or go kitesurfing as the consistent wind is perfect. The resort gardens are beautiful and well kept. The level of service and attentiveness was incredible. Other than that, don't expect to walk around to explore the surrounding village and area because the poverty may make you feel uncomfortable (unless you're a journalist working on an angle). The village water well is directly on the other side of the hotel wall, so the kids do their bathing in the morning in full view of humanity; the poverty, for me, was palpable and sobering when you're spending so much money on your vacation; I felt like a royal jerk. On the beach, expect to get hassled every 10 minutes by a hustler, kids, or lady selling scarves and trinkets. I found it served me well to keep repeating, \"Sorry, I prefer to be alone today,\" and keep walking.

The most restful retreat we've experienced

Our week long stay was one of the most restful we've experienced. The staff could not have been more helpful and the food was excellent. The room was impeccably kept and a cool retreat from the afternoon heat, in between spending time in the warm blue waters washing in with each afternoon tide. It was one of the most scenic spots we've stayed and we really enjoyed our stay - no real need to move out of the ambience if you want a wonderful place to relax together

More than a Paradise!

Next Paradise exceeded all of my expectations. The setting, the staff and the food are above average. I was looking for a tranquil place to recover after spending 4 months in a primitive location in Ethiopia. I did my research and kept coming back to the reviews for Next Paradise. I was not looking for a lot of people or activities but a quiet place to decompress. This place blew me away. The staff was amazingly attentive and accommodating. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The setting and atmosphere is all about beauty and serenity. The food was beyond delicious. Fresh seafood off the boat every night! Prepared with expertise found in the best restaurants around the world. This beautiful little place is right on the sand. You can hear the ocean on you veranda and a short walk out your door takes you to the beach. Perfect for a honeymoon, anniversary or quiet getaway... I look forward to a return visit. Oh! Did I mention the value? This lovely resort can not be beat for the cost... very fairly priced it includes everything and more than larger resorts. I truly did not want to leave.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. Daniella and the staff are super friendly. the hotel pictures dont give it justice as it is so neat and beautiful. Everything is so well put together and you can tell it was made with a lot of care. The food was soooo goood and even though the menu is set, the staff and the chef make any change you make with extreme delight.

This Paradise

This hotel is exactly what we wanted. It's a beautiful, intimate hotel, with a lovely setting, in a small town, far from the maddening crowd at some of the other beaches. Low key and elegant. Perfect--that is unless you want to be where there are lots of hotels and lots of action, which I realize is what some people want.

In the middle of nowhere

This hotel was far too overpriced and so far away from anywhere nice. Greeted by a large cockroach on entered the room, I'll let that slide as it is a tropical climate. The beaches were covered in seaweed and there is only a local village nearby. We found ourselved regularly catching a $25 taxi to the northwest of zanzibar to get to the nice beaches and restaurants. The hotels & restuarants up there were 1/3 the price of Next Paradise. Everything they organise for you at next paradise is overpriced, for example taxi to airport 60 euros, when i walked down the road and negotiated $30 with a local taxi driver. Excursions were crazy prices also.

Wonderful stay in wonderful surroundings

We stayed here for 9 days after our safari, and had booked this hotel based on the good reviews. We had a delightful stay. The hotel area is stunningly beautiful and the staff exceptional attentive and friendly. The food is very good, fresh sea food every day. We really liked the arrangement with the menu being written on a board in the afternoon.
The tide is no problem, with the pool and beach area so close to each other, and equally appealing. Lovely!
We have a few buts though, we would like to mention. We had booked through hotels.com, what was there called junior suite. Although our room was very elegant, it’s was a smaller then the impression we got from the website, and the sea view was quite limited. A tiny disappointment. The air condition only works until around two o’clock in the night due to pore power supply, leaving us with the fan, which made the rest of the night quite a warm experience, and reduced the sleep quality. The wi-fi is very limited, most of the days it was impossible to get any connection. But hey, you’re in Africa, so what to expect – hakuna matata!
When staying in good hotels, there are some things you get use to, which this hotel doesn’t offer; like complementary water and bath amenities such as shampoo, conditioner etc (there were only one shower soap, which lasted for a couple of days, no refill), so bring your own.
Because every expense is just written on the room, we didn’t tip anything to the waiters during the stay. Therefore we left quite a big tip for the staff with the manager at check out. We like the tipping box you find at some hotels!
All in all, we recommend this hotel because it’s so beautiful, the wonderful staff and the very good food. Thank you so much for an excellent stay!!

Next Paradise Boutique Resort Zanzibar

A neat little hotel, very quiet, ideal for a few days' stay
The local staff is not too good in English, so you have to be a bit patient, but other than that, everything is just fine. Would definitely recommend.
Not the best location for a swim in the ocean - very high tide fluctuations, lots of sea weed and the shallow waters are too warm for my taste - but excellent diving/snorkeling near by - Mnemba atoll. For swimming - try the western/northern side of Zanzibar - Nungwi is a good choice.

Beautiful place and staff is very friendly. Food is delicious and reasonably priced. Also some other restaurants nearby, but otherwise village is quite quiet. Perfect for relaxation! Tennis court is a plus. Would definitely stay here again.

Einfach perfekt!

Es war wunderbar! Libevoll hergerichtetes Resort, schon fast unheimlich freundliches Personal, das einem jeden Wunsch von den Lippen abliest. Leckeres Essen, tolle Drinks, weißer und sauberer Strand vor türkisem Wasser. Management hilft bei jeder Frage, jedem Wunsch und jeder Unternehmung. Es war einfach perfekt!

Très bien mais pas exceptionnel

We spent four days there with my husband; the place is very beautiful (well decorated) and very quiet, food is nice, confort of the room is very good, we also really liked the pool. However something was missing to make it really great and meet our expectations :
- We were not very well welcomed when we arrived (no help to take down luggage and a manager asking us what do we want in a weird way)
- the managers were dressed very casually which did not make them look professional, especially compared to local employees wearing very neat uniforms
- The one time we asked for help, we wanted to rent some bikes for a day, it was very complicated. I had to ask, wait for them to look for a solution in the village, then we had to call and wait for the owner of the bikes and go with him to his shop to just get a price
- Drinks are over-priced (4$ for a bottle of water, 10-11$ for a cocktail)

Gute Alternative zu den sonst üblichen Resorts

Wir hatten 5 Nächte im Hotel. Die Anlage ist klein (20 Zimmer), sehr gepflegt und gut durchdacht gebaut.
Ausreichend Sonnen-Liegen an den zwei Swimmingpools und am Strand vorhanden, d.h. die Gäste verlaufen sich. Getränke- und Essens-Service an Pool und Strand vorhanden. Die Speisekarte (preislich o.k.) vom Hotel ist überschaubar, bei Bedarf kann aber auch nebenan (ca.100m) in der Waikiki-Anlage sehr gut gegessen werden. (Gute Italienische Küche !). Zum Baden im Meer nicht wirklich geeignet, da sehr flach und \"Seeigel-verseucht\". Einziger Kritikpunkt: die Matrazen waren knüppelhart, deshalb nur 3 Sterne in der Rubrik \"Zimmerkomfort\".

Sehr schönes kleines Hotel direkt am Strand

schön gestaltetes kleines Hotel, sehr aufmerksamer und guter Service. Frühstück gut. Wenig Auswahl frischer Fisch bzw. Seafood auf der Karte, deswegen sind wir in benachbarte Hotels/Restaurants essen gegangen, wo es besser geschmeckt hat und günstiger war.

Wunderschönes Boutiquehotel

Das kleine aber feine Hotel ist an einem wunderschönen Sandstrand gelegen. Das Hotel ist sehr hübsch, dezent und im Stil von Zanzibar eingerichtet und fügt sich wunderbar in die Landschaft ein.
Das Essen ist italienisch angehaucht und sehr gut.
Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist wirklich gut.

Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt - es war richtig schön!

Wunderschön und toller Service

Die ganze Hotelanlage ist hervorragend gepflegt und wird sehr liebevoll geführt. Der Gast ist wirklich König, kleine Wünsche werden schnell und unproblematisch erfüllt. Die Managerin erkundigt sich stets nach dem Wohlbefinden und kümmert sich um alles, wenn man das möchte. Wenn nicht, kann man dort auch hervorragend einfach seine Ruhe haben. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und wird immer frisch zubereitet. Auch das Frühstücksbüffet lässt keine Wünsche offen.

Lyxig avkoppling i paradiset

Fantastiskt fint hotell. Perfekt för par som vill åka på lyxig avkopplingssemester. Kritvita stränder och klarblått vatten. Hotellet är superfint, bra service, bra mat. Skön avslappnad stämning, ingen stress ut tidigt på morgonen för att få solstolar - alla får plats! Fyrarätters middag varje kväll med komponerad meny, ofta utefter dagens fångst från fiskaren. Ganska höga priser dock på mat och dryck, men absolut värt. Vi åkte på snorklingstur som hotellet ordnade med lokal guide, rekommenderas starkt!

Total sett är vi supernöjda med vår vistelse och skulle gärna återkomma.

Tophotel, genoten van rust en service

Erg fijn hotel, waar we onze safarivakantie heerlijk hebben kunnen afsluiten. Bij aankomst gelijk ontvangen met de mededeling 'your holiday starts now' en dat bleek gelijk uit de service, verzorging, goede maaltijden, een heerlijke locatie en een keurige kamer.

Fint boutique hotell i private omgivelser.

Hotellet ligger nær stranden i koselige omgivelser og innbyr til lesing av en god bok i skyggen av palmetrær og en avkjølende bris fra havet. Eller spasertur oppover, nedover eller utover stranden. (Det er veldig langgrunt ved lavvann). Solkrem med høy solfaktor er et must og en solhatt på hodet er lurt. En morgen og/ eller kveldsdukkert i et av de to velholdte svømmebassengene var helt topp.
Måltidene ble stort sett inntatt på hotellet, treretters basert på sjømat + dessert til middag hver dag. God frokost med frisk frukt og variert lunchmeny. Ølet og vinen var upåklagelig.
Og med noen utflukter i tillegg møtte oppholdet alle våre forventninger.
Hilsen et eldre men eventyrlystent ektepar.

Fantastisk!

Resorten ligger direkte på stranden med flotte bungalower og hotellrom. Alt omringet av svaiende palmer, nydelige blomster, deilig basseng og hyggelig personale. Måltidene var både velsmakende og så delikat ut. Dette stedet kan vi anbefale på det varmeste. Bademulighetene var bra, selv om det var stor forskjell mellom høyt og lavt tidevann. Badetemperaturen var særdeles behagelig uansett når på døgnet.

Hier ist der Name Programm!

Im \"Next Paradise\" fühlt man sich sofort wohl. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und man spürt die Liebe zum Detail. Das Management sowie das ganze Serviceteam sind sehr herzlich und darauf bedacht, alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Frühstück und Abendessen sind hervorragend. Der Strand hat uns ebenfalls sehr gut gefallen. Die Gezeiten sind nicht so extrem zu spüren wie im Südosten der Insel.

Sehr schönes kleines Hotel

Super schöner Strand, allerdings mit relativ viel Tide (bei Ebbe kann man dann nicht wirklich ins Wasser). Einziger Nachteil ist, dass es ca 45 Minuten von Stone Town weg ist (Ausflüge, etc.). Würde aber wieder in diese Ecke oder in den Norden gehen.

Hotel ist sehr Nett, Angestellte sind extrem hilfsbereit - sehr angenehm!

L'hotel correspond tout à fait à notre attente.L'endroit est magique, très confortable et la cuisine excellente de très grande qualité avec des produits de grande fraicheur.
L'hotel est de de dimension humaine avec beaucoup de charme, les propriétaires sont très disponibles et de bons conseils pour l'organisation d'activités et très réactifs.
