Great stay at the Yarrow. The reception staff were fabulous. The spa was a lovely relaxing treat after a long walk. Shame the steam room was out of order and we weren’t told. Breakfast also really good and we weren’t hurried out when it finished. Would thoroughly recommend.

Room was quite nice , fairy new rooms, but the hotel. Warning! The hotel insists on taking your bank card and they want your pin to type into their system for storage, which isnt secure for customers. They dont allow you to do this using a pre authrourisation using a machine.

Clean and well appointed. Nice friendly staff. Did find the hotel extremely hot though, in general. Would have been nice to know you need to book to use the very small spa area, too. And only one hour at a time. This was pretty inconvenient. Oh, and the TV didn’t work. Over the course of 5 days it would have been nice to occasionally sit in front of the telly.

Disappointing stay. Started with check in we arrived at 2.30pm and yes official check in was 3pm we were advised that rooms not available as and when ready and all were made available at same time. Obviously this meant 3pm - don’t often encounter such inflexibility these days. By mistake we had booked an accessible room and no others available so we had to live with that. Unfortunately the room is in serious need of a refurb - the overhead shower was useless and just sprayed water everywhere, the soak away didn’t work very well and the whole wet floor flooded - there was a big wide squeegee to help us! Advised hotel reception after first use and we asked for extra towels for the floor so we could make a dam and these were provided. Sunday housekeeping we came back to our room at 1.40pm to shower as we were going out early and our room had not been made up. Housekeeping knocked about 2pm and we advised they couldn’t do our room until 3pm when we were going out and they advised they wouldn’t be able to do it and had been busy with other rooms - based on the lack of people at breakfast the following morning it would seem they had concentrated on empty rooms rather than rooms where people were staying over! Asked at reception on way out and they said it would be done. Unfortunately we were left with 2 bath towels, no hand towels, and no new water bottles and our floor dam towels had all been removed. Night manager was good and gave us some water.

Great 2 night stay in Broadstairs

Great hotel with superb staff. We had a suite at the top of the hotel and it was very comfortable and a great base to explore the coastline around Broadstairs. The breakfasts were fantastic and we booked a dinner on our last night which was very tasty and top restaurant quality as well as being great value for money.

I’ve stayed at the Yarrow many times, but this time I booked two rooms for my friend and myself, we both received with out warning, rooms that were for guests with disabilities, meaning no bath/proper shower or proper bathrooom. Only a large wet room with nowhere to store any toiletries, the rest of the room was fine, but other made it an uncomfortable stay

It was a large well presented building. The staff were friendly and attentive. We had 2 suites which were very spacious and comfortable. It was quiet. We enjoyed the bar snacks, which offered a good size portion. The breakfast was a good choice and very nice. It was help yourself, but there were also specials to order. There was plenty of parking on site. It was convenient location close to the town centre and the beach, plus the loop bus stop was right outside. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and if we visited Broadstairs again, this would be our first choice.

The yarrow hotel is a lovley hotel decorated to a high standard.The rooms are to a high standard as well. The spa area is a must you are charged 15 pound each to use the spar but it is well worth the price very private area.The staff are extremely good at there job which makes the stay even better good breakfast as well

The staff are incredible, always welcoming and friendly. The hotel is located in an old building which has been very well maintained and taken care of, the decor is classic but still modern, the facilities in general are good and the room we stayed in a lot of space and a very comfortable bed.

I booked a room for 3 pax with a sofa-bed. We assumed the sofa-bed would be made before we arrived, but it wasn't. There were also only 2 sets of towels, 2 bottles of water, 2 glasses... So I think they forgot there was going to be a child with us. I asked at the reception if anything could be done to help with this and when we came back, the bed was made and the extras added, so we very happy despite the initial miscommunication.

We were sad the restaurant was closed Sun-Mon as we stayed Sat-Tue. We mentioned to the reception we planned on having dinner there on Sunday or Monday and were told it was closed, but they served food at the bar. We were shown the normal menu, so it was disappointing to arrive at the bar and realise they were really only serving light sandwiches and crisps. We were so tired we couldn't bother going back to the town centre to eat. The sandwiches were fine, just not what we had planned to eat.

On the last day, the housekeeping forgot to tidy our bathroom and change its bin which was had a couple of our kid's nappies from the day before. I mentioned this to the reception at check-out, so they could be aware.

Despite some hiccups, we still loved our stay!

We had a wonderful time in Broadstairs, 2 night break. The Yarrow is very grand and spotlessly clean and excellent decor. We had a large classic double which was perfect. Only issue was the heating was quite loud and noticeable at night so we slept with it off. Breakfast was lovely, we opted for the individually cooked breakfast which were heavenly. Looking forward to our return to this hotel

Amazing building with very interesting history, which was a nice suprise.

The sauna, steam and jacuzzi requires an additional charge pp, but it is well worth it as this allows you 1 hour of exclusive, private use.

Close enough to beach and town - about a 15 minute walk.

This was an ideal hotel to stay , as we came along way nearly 6 hours, this was right off the main road and plenty spaces to par, the hotel has some lovely history and from the outside it has a oldy worldy feel, but a modern twist it had everything we needed, towels daily, water hot and clean bedding, had a huge bed and room, the service was very good and polite staff in all areas, accomadating also fresh milk everyday, 3 days was not enough, but we came to go to family gathering.
Will come again in the springtime thank you again.

We were attending an event at the hotel. What we liked was the service we got from the reception, the bar and breakfast staff. They were amazing. What we were not very happy about was that the shower in the bathroom was not good at all and the only toiletries there were minimal - shampoo/conditioner and shower gel. No body lotion, shower cap etc. Also only BBC1 and BBC2 were effectively available on TV. This is supposed to be a 4* star hotel !!

The last time I stayed at the Yarrow I wasn't very happy as I felt, from the check in time, a lack of hospitality. I left a not so great review. It is only fair to amend my thoughts publically, as this time the hospitality was evident from the start and the whole experience was delightful. Check in was wonderful, the room had some sustainablly-minded solutions where there weren't before and the breakfast was great. Highly recommend the Yarrow!

We have stayed at the yarrow several times, and again it was the perfect stay, room very good size, very clean with everything you'd expect , tea, coffee try, bottles of water, biscuits, fresh milk available from reception, just ring and they will bring it to your room. Lovely white towels, toiletries in bathroom, air con / heating plenty of hanging space, desk with hairdyer and lots plug sockets 10/10
We had a tasting menu booked, which again was very good.

Good but be aware in using wheelchair.

Great hotel in a great location. Amazing service. If a wheelchair user, the main entrance is not suitable for use, and the back door doesn’t work, so make sure get someone who can get things organised to gain an entry.

Fantastic hotel, great location.

Wonderful stay in this lovely close to town hotel. The room was big and spacious. The breakfast should suit everyone as it was very varied, cooked, pastries, fruit and cold cheese and meat. The lounge and bar are very comfortable we were however disappointed that the bar closed at 10pm. If I was being picky I would like to see glasses in the room and maybe some body lotion. But all in all it was a wonderful and we will be back.

It is a clean neat very friendly and helpful place to stay. It makes no secret of being away from the immediate town centre, but misrepresents its position in its' frontage photo. In fact it is on the left ( SE) side of the road behind a high hedge, so not so readily findable by looking for the building. A photo of the entrance gate and sign would be helpful. Otherwise, great.

Not our first stay here but still enjoyed ambience and good breakfast.
Disappointed that our classic room only had a standard double and mattress was very uncomfortable leading to two poor nights sleep. On mentioning this at check-out there was no apology but told hotel was refurbishing bedrooms and this one had not yet been done. Disappointed.
