The room was a nice size but needs improvement one of the lampshades was missing from the bedside lamp so was just a light bulb I did report to reception but was not repaired one of the windows had duck tape holding the glass in place these are things that could be easily fixed
The hotel it’s self is very clean and the staff are friendly there is a bar that had live entertainment on the Friday night
The room we had has a nice view of the sea and had tea and coffee facilities and bottled water daily

Hotel with a View .

Found hotel to be in good location in a quieter part of Ramsgate on the sea front. Parking was easy as hotel out of the restricted parking zone ,it also has small car park .
The hotel has a lift to all floors and the room was quite large with side sea views and a large 4 poster bed, and bathroom with walk in shower.The cooked breakfast was included , we also paid extra for a evening meal that was excellent, also had live music on the Friday night at the time we stayed. Ramsgate harbour and town would be a 20 minute walk which is a lively town with bars and restaurants .

Extremely noisy during the week early mornings with trash van and linen van collections at 5am. Outside noise in the evenings with traffic and party goers kept us up late.

The rooms were ok but they forgot to remove the many spider webs. Bed was quite uncomfortable but clean and staff made up the bed every morning. Tea and coffee available with bottled water each day.

Breakfast had a very good choice but evening menu was drab and normal restaurant menu had nothing appealing.

On a whole the staff were friendly and helpful and view was great.

Pleasant stay helped by very good weather. Hotel nicely positioned and efficiently managed. Bed was small so sleep was not good. Room 409 needs a king sized bed to meet modern expectations.

The continental breakfast was lovely. The evening meal we booked was delicious and as it was Friday we had a live band . Unfortunately their groupies came and hogged the dance floor all night. The room was nicely decorated and we had a sea view. the location is not good, on a steep hill with only a bus hourly.

Firstly, the view of the tv (which is in the corner of the room) from the bed is partially obscured by the posts of the four poster bed. Second, the wall lights by the bed have been installed lopsidedly.

not so good, there could be more done with the rooms and decor around the hotel, more to point the rooms. Very Basic, bland, needs more colour, furniture and beds in particular need replacing. They done more in the bar area, which looks very modern and jazzy, to match it, there's not much. Sauna and Gym area are good. The service from Staff is very seldom, especially staff not caring there are fly problems around the hotel. Also, the food needs improving, quality check is required. The menu needs streamline and cut down. Far too much, which explains if they cook fresh. i would not knock it down completely there's always room for improvements.

The staff are friendly and bar and breakfast area good and bathrooms have been recently refurbished well. But the hallway and rooms and furniture have not been touched since the 70s and single glazing means very loud in the wind . Also we had two rooms same price one was in the attic with slopped ceilings and limited space other was full size need different room pricing structure. Lift also took many minutes. Confused why rooms were not refurbished at the same time as the bathrooms . Living off past reputation and if want a good room saw the suites as door was open and look good and worth paying the extra for

I spent a week in Ramsgate visiting my daughter and was pleased to stay at the Comfort Inn.

Rooms were good but I will upgrade to a suite on the front for my next visit (ocean view!).

Area was lovely. Right on the sea front and within easy walking distance of the town centre.

Above all the staff were very kind and I sincerely appreciate them being flexible with my booking when they didn't have to. Thank You.

Best choice in Ramsgate. Definitely plan to stay again.

We expected basic, and were pleasantly surprised. The sauna was a bonus, the gym well kitted out, the evening entertainment free and good fun.
The continental breakfast was substantial enough to not need to purchase a cooked breakfast in either morning and staff were really helpful when our keycard wiped itself and provided us additional bottles of water when requested.

Very clean hotel right near the beach. Free parking in the street as well as hotel car park. Lovely hot water for Bath and shower. Good continental breakfast with full breakfast option. Just 1 criticism our room was very hot! I should have spoke to reception about it.... but didn't!. Couldn't set the temperature of the room and radiator didn't seem to be on!. Wee would definitely stay again as it is close to all amenities.

Our upgraded doubel room was even better than we expected. We especially enjoyed the terrace with views out to the sea.

This was our first visit to Ramsgate and it will not be the last for both the area and hotel.
The staff were amazing all Covid restrictions were adhered too. Very helpful and friendly staff, we felt very welcomed.

We had an evening meal which was very good especially as both my husband and I have food intolerance, which the staff were able to accomodate for us.

We arrived for an overnight stay on a wet and dark day in October - not ideal for a seaside stay. The staff were very helpful - multitasking amongst the front of house roles.
The hotel was quite empty, probably because of COVID,

Overall, staying for one night, our stay was ok. Staff were polite and welcoming, and instructions for everyone’s wellbeing, under the circumstances, were easy to follow.
The hotel is under redevelopment, and so, it was clear we were in one of the ‘older’ rooms, the bathroom has seen better days, but that’s ok, my main concern was that there wasn’t a blind on the window, just a net curtain, so I didn’t really feel like having a shower with the light on, for all to see me. Also, our tea/coffee ‘station’ didn’t look like it’d been re-filled properly, both cups were dirty, as was the one spoon to accompany. So, to stay for one night, our room was ok.

No one was ever at reception when something was needed. The hotel was very hot and the air conditioning did not work. The breakfast is not worth paying for go somewhere else. The car park is tiny so don’t expect to be able to park there so you then struggle to find somewhere else.

It was very clean and nice with a great view.
There was only a few things that made us not have a comfortable stay.
1. It was very hot in our room, we didn't have the heat on and we tried to turn on the AC but it didn't do anything (the temp was 7 outside so it shouldn't have been that hot)
2. The bed was horribly uncomfortable. It was hard as a rock.

Also we only has 1 towel in our room (we booked as 2 guest) which was annoying when it came to showering. They did bring one up once I called the front desk but still had to wait for it.

The property is in an amazing location with beach view , when we arrived there was no one at the reception we waited for about 15-20mins to check in, the staff is really slow, There is no parking in the premises very limited. cleanliness is ok, and the rooms a very big especially the family room. The breakfast was horrid just toast cereal and pastries nothing else. The staff was ignorant we had to call them 3-4 times so they could attend to us.

Our room was ok. The bed was comfortable and clean and the shower was good. The air conditioning worked well. However the furnishings are dated, the room had no view and only 2 plug sockets, one for the tv and the other for the kettle. The tv aerial was poor so the tv picture was constantly pixelated. Luckily we were only in the room to shower, change and sleep. Breakfast was continental and was reasonable with a variety of yoghurts, fresh fruit, cheese, cold meat, hard boiled eggs, cereals, bread, crumpets and pastries. We just lacked plates and spoons! There is a very small car park otherwise you need to find parking on the street nearby.
