I have stayed here many times. It has always offered good value, decent, no frills accommodation. However, this time, the room really wasn't acceptable. The bathroom basin was badly cracked and the bath plug had been replaced with one that was significantly smaller, meaning that I couldn't fill a bath, as the water ran out as fast as the tap was filling it. I had also asked for a quiet room and was assured that I was away from the road, but the traffic noise kept me awake until the early hours.

It's a shame as it seemed it was the only room of this standard and if a complaint were to be made there will be no other options.

Our room was disappointing due to the chronic noise from the ventilation going on and off every few seconds, which meant we had little sleep! The Canterbury Belle bar looked very bright and appealing, but the rooms are dark, with poor lighting. We won’t be returning!

Very clean and comfortable, close to huge shopping centre which could maybe be both a pro and a con but we made the most of it! Staff were kind and helpful and we had everything we needed. We wanted to be close to the beach in Broadstairs and the loop bus takes 40 minutes- wish I had researched this- it's a nice scenic route though and a much shorter journey to Margate, so we went and had dinner there one evening. It is also a shorter journey to Ramsgate and had we had more time we would have spent longer in all three places as they are all great. In a car it is a short journey from Broadstairs (8 minutes according to google maps) and the pub is in Broadstairs but also only a hundred yards or so from both Ramsgate and Margate, right on the border of the three. I'd recommend it.

My recent stay at your hotel was deeply disappointing and far below expectations for a supposed 4-star property. The air conditioning unit was excessively noisy, making it nearly impossible to relax. The room was infested with bugs and ants, which was highly unhygienic. To add to the inconvenience, there was no shower gel provided—only hand wash in its place. The window had a gap, rendering it far from soundproof, and we were disturbed all night by loud car tire noises and conversations from people on the ground floor, as our room was on the first floor. The constant noise made it impossible to sleep properly. Based on this experience, I would rate the hotel 1 star and cannot recommend it.

Amazing stay as always, it’s my go to when I visit my family. Only one thing I wasn’t happy about was the kettle in the room had not been checked or cleaned and I wasn’t able to use it due to this black flaky stuff stuck to the bottom of it on the inside that wouldn’t wash away. Plus it kept turning on randomly through the night so had to unplug it.

I knocked a star off the facilities for the wet room and that was for issues that are of my personal preferences only. I would have liked a toilet brush (I do not expect anyone to clean up after me if I soil the toilet bowl) and also a bath mat (although being a room for disabled people some would say that would be a trip hazard). Another very minor issue was the shower head holder would not tighten properly and if knocked lightly it would fall down. Not a huge problem just a minor irritation.

Room okay but not returning
I visited here for a one night stay and requested a quiet room prior to booking. On check-in, located in the main pub area - it was quick and simple. Unfortunately I was placed in a room right next to the main road which I learned was busy most of the night. The bed was comfortable but had an uninterrupted night sleep due to pub patrons entering/leaving noisily, car doors opening/closing, general street noise. I was awake at 0315 and could not return back to sleep. I could not check out in the traditional sense as there was no-one at reception in the separate hotel building and the pub across the road was closed (0630). There was also a significant leak in my room and had no opportunity to report this on leaving. I am not sure I would stay here again
