Staff great, hotel clean, breakfast was nice but our experience was ruined by the cold hotel. Reception kindly gave us 2 electric heaters for our room though. Unfortunately that didn’t help the freezing cold bathroom so we had to shower once we got home. Another couple were also offered an electric fire, so it wasn’t just us.

The room and entrance were really clean and good condition. There was a weird smell in the entrance hall, may be cleaning products but didn’t smell very nice. Didn’t really get a good nights sleep because our room was facing onto a smaller roof and we could hear the electric generator or fan (not sure what it was) humming all night on both nights. The breakfast was average, eggs cold almost instantly after touching the plate.

The room was clean and looked like recently renovated. Nice breakfast. Staff were very helpful and friendly. However, the aircon in the room was very poor. Tried to increase the temp to 21 deg from the preset temp of 18 deg as it was -2 outside. It never ever got to 21 deg and in fact I never saw it above 18.5 deg. The fan was extremely noisey so turned it down to minimum but then of course the aircon would not respond to the 21 deg demand.

Having come from another Holiday Inn Express the night before I can very easily compare one against the other, especially as the rooms were almost identical layouts.
The room at Holiday Inn Express Ramsgate was certainly more tired in appearance and not cleaned to the same level, although nothing that warranted immediate attention / change of room. The rooms are functional and comfortable, though if you want the window open the proximity to the dual carriageway is a tad bothersome.
The greatest difference in the two locations was the staff, sadly I would say Ramsgate reception staff were 'luke warm' in comparison, not 'rude', but not particularly helpful.

Room was cleaned to a high standard throughout our stay. my only drip is I was unable to reach the washbasins ( I am confined to a wheelchair) and could not get close enough either basin. We only stayed one night but it was good. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent for both of us. I'm a vegetarian and my partner enjoys his meat. He said the bacon was particularly good. The staff were brilliant at breakfast it was busy and they were very helpful. I booked a double room and my only issue was instead of a double bed it was two single beds pushed together which wasn't mentioned in the booking.

The road near the hotel seemed very busy but it was very quiet at night and had a great sleep. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice and you could help yourself to as much or little as you liked. Cooked food was hot and restocked often.

Our second stay at this well placed, clean, comfortable hotel near Ramsgate. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Our room was large, comfortable bed, very clean. The bar area has lots of comfortable seating, TV. The breakfast is possibly the highlight, plenty of choice including full cooked option which you help yourself to. Well cooked, hot, eat as much as you like. Parking could be an issue, especially for later check-ins, probably because this hotel is very popular, easy to see why.

The hotel is situated on the A299 about 5 miles from Ramsgate. Although on a very busy road the room was quiet and very comfortable. Check in was from 2pm and we arrived just before then. We were greeted warmly by the reception staffand check in was fast and efficient. Slight issue was that we had requested a twin room and were given a doulble but they changed the room immediately and without question. The room was very comfortable and we were at the back of the hotel so had a view over fields which was lovely. The beds were very comfortable and the room was a good size. Bathroom was clean and well equipped. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice of both hot and cold offerings and the hot was HOT. Bar prices are very reasonable and the public areas are well maintained and pleasant.

When we entered the original room 020 at minster ramsgate it had a dreadful smell likened to feaces. We retreated out and striaght back ro reception. The staff were extremely apologetic and immediately gave another room. Perfect spotless and very comfortable.

An excellent one night stay. The check-in was very smooth, the staff are very friendly and efficient. Our room was very spacious, airy, comfortable, very clean and very well decorated. The room included an iron and board, tea and coffee were minimal, but adequate for 1 night. The bar area was a very pleasant surprise, very comfortable, airy, great bar service at a reasonable price. Free on-site parking was very welcome. I would certainly return if in the area.

The hotel has a slightly unusual exterior—possibly a converted building from the old Manston airfield—but don’t let that put you off. Inside, the facilities are simple, but everything is immaculately presented and spotlessly clean. The rooms are very tidy and comfortable.

No not Herne Bay advised that it was nearest via hotels.com eventually found it using the ref number and she said “oh it’s under Mrs Dawson Not Mr! “ Hie many triples with figs did they have booked and how many Dawson’s I wonder? Staff are very helpful, the bar is there bt very limited. No Rose wine, then no Coke Cola for the Vodka we opted for. The breakfast is plenty and done very well, however as for the bar Menu I think there was about 3 things on the menu. The saving grace there is a Pub (beefeater or similar) literally 100mtrs away and the food, bar, stock, and atmosphere were a saviour. Nice eniugh to stay in but with Premier Inn across the way with a bar and full menu I think we would opt for that.

A lovely modern interior with a retro exterior feel which resembles that of an art deco airport. It is well positioned in terms of close proximity to Margate, Ramsgate and Broadstairs. The staff were so pleasant & helpful and the breakfast provided was well presented and catered for too! A revisit is on the cards!
