The room is spacious enough, the shower booth too. All appliances work. Comfortable bed. Good provision of decent bath towels. The place is quiet, clean and one minute from a tube station and several bus stops, and no more than 15 walking from the Vatican square and museum. Plenty of shops, restaurants and eateries all around, and a good cinema too. Check in instructions are clear and easy to follow.

Overpriced

Good points:
Good location, quiet, big room and en-suite bathroom.

Bad points:
No extra facilities. I needed an iron to get ready for business meetings but was told another guest had it and had not brought it back so I needed to spend more money and go to a nearby laundry.
Only one plug socket in the room near the desk.
No breakfast.

I paid over £312 per night for just a room and nothing else. I booked because there was nothing else available. Would I do so again? Not for the price and lack of facilities available.

Close to vatican

Hotel was good, it is an appartment so there is no one on site. But this did not bother us, a man was waiting to greet us at our organised time. The room was a good size, but the doona cover had stains on it, and the shower was very tiny, but other than this it was a good stay, we were here for 3 nights. We walked from the ruins and all of vatican with out any issues, and plenty of food places around too. We organised a shuttle to the airport through the hotel,but we found out it was a taxi and all taxis have a set rate,so we got charged an extra €15 ....but we should have looked into it.

Great and cheap

In a great location 5 mins from station and 5 min journey into centre of Rome, 10min walk to the Vatican some lovely restaurants and cocktail bars near by, mini supermarkets everywhere, fridge in the room so you can store your drinks. It gets a little hot in the room but it's bareable with the fan, I would recommend this to friends had a great holiday.

Shower is extremely small & no a/c

The shower is not made for overweight or older people. The shower is on a high step-up and the opening is very narrow. The room has no a/c, luckily the evenings were chilly so we opened a window.
The key to open the street entrance door didn't work so we either waited 30 minutes or more for someone to come in or out or has a stranger help us open the door. We asked for another key which worked a little better.
The internet wasn't working for a day which was very disappointing.
The noise from the hallway is very loud so when someone would come in late it would wake us up.

Nice hotel nearby Vatican City

It was very easy to get around Rome from this hotel. The biggest plus was that it was just 10 minutes on foot from St Peter's Basilica. Tidy room, cleaned everyday.

Inexpensive, Great Location

I stayed in a room at the Roman Holidays B&B for a week. The location is great, the price was reasonable, and the building felt very secure (many layers of locked doors to go through before getting to my room). The only downside is that there was no air conditioning (a ceiling fan provided the much-needed circulation of air). I would stay there again.

Good value for money

It was not clear enough that we were supposed to have an appointment in order to get the key, so we had to wait for 20 minutes outside not knowing what to do because the problem was that no-one would answer the door bell neither the telephone number that was outside the door.
Anyway, someone came after all. All persons we met were very polite!
We would be more happy if there were a kettle along with the fridge (which was very handy) so we could make a coffee in the morning!
All the other services were very good.
Very good spot, near metro and buses.
Overall, good value for money

Carino, ottimo per concerto all olimpico

Ho soggiornato in questa struttura per la vicinanza con l’olimpico in modo da poter tornare a piedi, e per l’ottima posizione! A due passi da San Pietro e dalla fermata Ottaviano con cui è facilmente raggiungibile tutto. Molto carino e pulito.

Haben einen Kurztripp nach Rom gemacht und im Roman Holidays Rooms übernachtet. Das Zimmer war sauber. Bad sehr klein und in die Jahre gekommen aber dafür ausreichend. Alles in einem für 1 Nacht gut.

Affittacamere consigliato. Il ragazzo che ci ha accolti è stato molto carino e gentile. La camera era spaziosa, pulita e confortevole, dotata di frigobar e TV. Molto buono anche il bagno, anche se non era molto ampio. Per quanto riguarda la colazione tutto positivo, basta recarsi in uno dei bar indicati sui buoni che vengono consegnati all'arrivo, molto vicini al b&b. Sicuramente l'aspetto migliore è la vicinanza alla fermata Ottaviano della metropolitana, ad un minuto circa di distanza. Nel complesso, tutto molto buono.

Petit hotel idéal

Un hotel vraiment hyper bien situé dans Rome. A 300m du Vatican, 50m d'une station de métro. Idéal donc pour pouvoir visiter cette ville magnifique ...
La chambre est très confortable, il y a même un mini frigo, ce qui est fort pratique. La salle de bain est super. L'accueil plus que correct: 3 jours avant le patron m'avait envoyé un mail me demandant mon heure estimée d'arrivée parce qu'il n'y a pas de réception, il était pile poil au RV !
Le petit-déjeuner est un cafe et un bon croissant fourre à la crème ou au chocolat ds une cafétéria du coin ... Je n'en demandais pas plus.
En conclusion, nous y retournerons rapidement parce que nous avons adoré !!!

Eher Apartmentwohungen in Zentrumsnähe

Das \"Hotel\" liegt sehr zentrumsnah und ist deshalb ideal für Sightseeing. Die Ausstattung und Zimmer ist vollkommen in Ordnung. Das Frühstück besteht aus einem Gutschein für ein Heißgetränk und ein Biscotti im Cafe nebenan (typisch italienisch). Das Hotel ist eher ein Zusammenwurf aus Apartments im Sinne von Zimmern in einem Privathaus. Da es keine Rezeption gibt sollte man vorher unbedingt dem Eigentümer mitteilen, wann man anreist, damit auch wer da ist um einen einzulassen.

Après une arrivée angoissante du fait d'aucun acceuil devant une porte cochère fermée a clé la finalité s'est avérée convenable suite à la venue d'une personne visiblement responsable mais par contre aucun dialogue possible du fait de la langue

Het hotel is eigenlijk een appartement waarin kamers verhuurd worden. De beheerder was niet aanwezig toen we arriveerden, waardoor bij ons een hoop onduidelijkheid ontstond. De locatie is heel dicht bij het Vaticaan en ook andere highlights van Roma zijn op relatief korte afstand. Kamer was prima verzorgd, netjes en eenvoudig. Geen airco, wel een ventilator aan het plafond. Het was nl. behoorlijk warm in de kamer, omdat de verwarming niet uit kon. Leuk is dat je bonnen krijgt voor een Italiaans ontbijt, te besteden bij enkele adressen naar keuze. Het ontbijt bestaat uit 1 cappuccino of koffie en 1 zoet broodje.

Dit was geen hotel,althans wat je verstaat onder een hotel, eerder een soort appartement. Omdat ik niet zeker was of we voor 21 uur zouden aankomen heb ik hun van die onzekerheid in kennis gesteld. Welnu rond 20.45 kwamen we bij otranto 39 aan en er stond inderdaad iemand buiten ons op te wachten. De sleutels (5 stuks) , de ontbijtvouchers kregen we en vanaf dat moment was het onze kamer en onze separate badkamer. Het ontbijt bestaat uit 1 kop koffie en 1 croissant.

Einziger Vorteil - Metro und Vatikan-Nähe

Das Zimmer - sauber und für 2 Personen ausreichend sowie die Nähe zur Metro und zum Vatikan sind ein Plus die hier zu vergeben sind, ein absolutes NO GO ist, dass das Gebäck weder bei Ankunft noch bei Abreise deponiert werden kann und macht das Zimmer somit für Städtereisen uninteressant, Zusätzlich wird auf diesen Umstand beim Anbieter nicht klar hingewiesen. Also Achtung für alle Städtereiser: Vergewissern Sie sich, dass es eine Gebäckaufbewahrung gibt! Gerade in Rom, wo ausschließlich wenige teure und Zeit aufwändige private Aufbewahrungsstellen angeboten werden, ist eine Gebäckaufbewahrung im Hotel das Um und Auf.Das Frühstück ist eigentlich gar nicht der Rede wert, die Coupons für 4 Bars in der Nähe für 1 Kaffee und 1 Croissant sind die geringsten Kosten die hier zusätzlich aufzuwänden wären. Also Zimmer mit Frühstück gilt als irreführendes Angebot.

Die Fassade des Hotels war nicht sehr einladend

Wir mussten ca. 1 Std. warten bis endlich jemand kam.Telefonieren war nicht möglich, da kein Empfang, ein Cafe in der Nähe konnte uns dann endlich weiterhelfen, es stellte sich heraus, dass wir in diesem Cafe unser Frühstück bekamen, 1 Croussant und eine Tasse Kaffee. Wir hatten Einzelbetten bestellt, dem war aber nicht so, die Betten konnten dann aber auseinander gestellt werden. Der Fernseher ging nur 2 Tage dann ging nichts mehr und es gab auch kein deutsches Programm. Die Sicht vom Fenster aus ging in einen dreckigen Hof. Handtücher wurden in den 4 Tagen unseres Aufenthaltes nicht gewechselt.

Typisches \"Hotel\" in Rom

Rom ist auf alle Fälle einen Besuch wert. Die Stadt hat einiges zu bieten. Tolle Inneneinstadt, hier sollte für jedermann etwas dabei sein. Enttäuschend war nur, dass einige Denkmäler wieder eingerüstet waren.

Super dejligt B&B, og rigtig godt til prisen.

Dejligt og roligt område at bo i, og tæt på metro, så det er nemt at komme rundt i hele Rom.
De har god aftale ang. morgenmad, så det er en fryd at gå ned og få sin morgenkaffe.

Une chambre propre et agréable dans un bâtiment habité, non pas un hôtel ...
un petit déjeuner à prendre dans une des 3 brasseries proposée tout de suite à proximité .
Le principe est sympathique, nous avons notre trousseau de clé et on fait comme chez nous...
Un petit hic tout de même étant situé en plein centre le bruit est assez présent de jour comme de nuit mais le double vitrage est efficace .

nous y retournerions bien volontiers

Unsauberes Hotel in Stadtzentrumsnähe

Freundliche Begrüßung bei Anreise. Der Zimmervermieter hat sich bemüht all unsere Fragen zu beantworten. Das Hotel hatte eine absolute Top-Lage. Wir wollten einen Kultururlaub machen. Das Hotel war nur 5 Minuten Fußweg vom Vatikan entfernt und fast unmittelbar vor dem Hotel befand sich eine U-Bahn-Station, sodass man schnell in der Innenstadt war. Dafür war das Hotel perfekt für unsere Bedürfnisse gelegen.
Das Hotel an sich war jedoch nicht so schön. Schwarze, lange Haare auf der Bettdecke. Schimmel in der Dusche. Ein verstopfter Abfluss, sodass man beim Duschen immer in einer Pfütze stand. Ein defekter Spülkasten, der unheimliche Geräusche gemacht hat. Das Zimmer war auch relativ klein, aber für ein paar Tage war es ok. Ansonsten hatte man vom Zimmer aus einen Blick auf einen dreckigen Innenhof.
Für unsere Bedürfnisse war es vollkommen ausreichend, da wir den ganzen Tag außerhalb des Hotels verbracht haben und lediglich dort geschlafen haben. Für die Urlauber, die mehr Zeit im Hotel verbringen wollen, ist von diesem Hotel abzuraten. Für die, die sich lediglich für ein paar Tage die Stadt anschauen wollen, ist es vollkommen ok.

Nice hotel!

It's a nice hotel. It's well located, very close from the Ottaviano station (so very close from Vaticano). The hosted was very nice and helpfull. The room is like the website photos, maybe little smaller than, but it's ok. For breakfast we recommend go to the Luma caffe danesi, the other options are not so receptive. Anyway, it's a simple coffe and some croissant.
