Cute, well kept, apartment-style room.

I really enjoyed my stay, it is an older establishment but it was clean and well managed. The staff were what made it amazing, I was able to reach out (and I did several times) throughout my trip and was met with nothing by kindness and prompt responses. It was perfect for my solo trip to Rome!

The room and bathroom were both very nice, clean and comfortable. There is a beautiful leafy terrace outside where you can sit and enjoy the lovely breakfast that’s provided. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. I would recommend staying here :)

Great location , very clean rooms.
The patio which any one can use during the day or night is great .
We sat out at night and had a bottle of wine .
Cynthia the young lady that runs the property is lovely and is very helpful.
Also a big plus you are near the Metro stop Ottaviano and there are plenty of restaurants and stores nearby as well as phone stores if you need a SIM card for Italy.

This is a basic room in Rome, which means you’ll have a bathroom and a bed, and not much else. There is a very small kitchen with some amenities available, and a nice little dining area you can use for takeaway food. You cannot cook in the kitchen, although I’d gladly have paid more for the option of using the stove.

The location relative to the Via Ottaviano Metro stop, the Trionfale district, and Vatican City is wonderful. Just remember. You’re largely paying for location and not for a large fancy room and you’ll be fine.

The staff is actually very nice, and I feel the need to comment on this. Before we arrived, they gave me check-in instructions and a phone number to text 30 minutes before arrival. This is the first hotel in Rome I’ve been to (and I’ve stayed in 6) that accommodated an early check-in with absolutely no hassle. I can’t begin to describe how nice it is to check in right after a flight and a train ride.

This is a no-frills, location-based hotel with very good service and a nice included breakfast (salame, cornetti, cappuccini, yogurt). It’s located at the intersection of the Trionfale and Prati neighborhoods, and is a stone’s throw away from great markets, restaurants, and bakeries.

THE place to stay when in Rome

This was our 2nd stay and it didn't disappoint. Clean, quiet and safe. Great location-a 5 minute walk to the Vatican.Easy to reach- bus from the airport to Termini train station (6 euros), 5 stops on metro (less than 2 euros), and 5 minute walk. Pratinn feels like a cosy, authentic home. While some of the rooms are small, they provide everything you need, including coffee and tea, hairdryer, safe, over and above other more standard room facilities. Breakfast (incl), can be eaten on the patio, where you can watch all the activity of the city, or just sit out and read and relax. Much better than an impersonal hotel for a lot less money.. Cyntia, the manager, not only extended our check out time (very dependent on the check-in time of the next guest), but allowed us to store our luggage, and have use of the patio for seven hours beyond our check out time. We cannot say enough positive things about Pratinn- when in Rome we will not stay anywhere else.

Good location, just a few minutes away from Vatican and tube station isn’t so far away. We took the bus from Fiumicino and it was about 20 minutes from bus stop.
Room was clean and comfortable with in-suit shower room. There was a kettle and a mini fridge. Tea and bottled water were provided as well as small toiletries and slippers.
A nice little breakfast was served in the kitchen and we were told that we could use the kitchen if desired. There’s a balcony where breakfast can be served, weather depending.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Reception is not open 24h, but we received keys for the front door and gate. Mobile numbers were provided if we needed to contact them and it was easily done via txt or WhatsApp message.
Overall we were pleased with our stay :)

We enjoyed our stay at Pratinn Vatican. Cynthia and the staff were warm, welcoming and very accommodating. The room was clean and tidy with comfortable bed and ensuite. Good shower. The location is very good - only 10 minute walk to the Vatican Museum and 15 minute walk to St Peter's Basilica and Square and Castle D'Angelo nearby. Metro is near and also Carrefour and Co-op supermarket 10/15 minute away. Would use again.

Pratinn Vatican is a real authentic Italian apartment which has been converted into a bed and breakfast. We had the smaller room, which was ample to our needs. En - suite bathroom, comfortable bed, kettle and t.v. Lovely terrace area to eat breakfast or sit and have an evening drink. Breakfast ample - cereal, cold meats, croissants, cheese, fresh fruit and of course coffee and tea. Staff fantastic and very friendly nothing too much trouble, . (Practice your Italian, they would appreciate it). Central location. Vatican, Vatican museum & Sistine chapel - 5/10 minutes walk. We walked to all the sites from the Pratinn. If you are expecting 5 Star plus accommodation this is not for you. However, if you are looking for a homely comfortable place to stay I would recommend. When I am returning to Rome - I will be making arrangements to stay at the Pratinn.

Very good location-just 5 minutes from the Vatican. Room was a good size, and the breakfast was very good. We could sit out on the large patio and relax after touring the city. The room and bathroom were very clean. My only complaint is that the description of the room on the Venere site, led me to believe my room had a \"living room and balcony\", and it had neither.

Me and my partner really enjoyed our stay here. The beds were so comfy and the room itself was quite modern. The breakfasts in the morning were quite simple continental breakfast but there was plenty to eat to start the day before lots of walking. The area of the hotel was so close to the Vatican that it literally took about 5 minutes to get there. Even some of the other tourist bits weren't that far to walk on a nice day. The metro and bus stops were close by which we found helpful to get to the Colosseum and to Trastevere which was great for restaurants and bars.

I would definitely recommend this hotel.

No one to let us in to hotel which was more of a bed and breakfast then a hotel.
The refrigerator did not work, it was replaced with one that also did not work.
There is no closet and the small rod for hanging close was so high that my wife could
not reach it. The free breakfast was very good and enjoyable. I will not stay there
again.

Very comfy bed...friendly staff...good breakfast...walking distance to Vatican City and Castel Angelo when you crossed the Tiber River from Castle it will take you to Piazza Navona and other touristic area. The only downside of the guest house is the the shower. But over all we had an amazing stay and try Hostaria Dino e Toni which Cyntia recommended delish food!!

Brilliant place to stay, my only advice is to let them know a rough idea of when you expect to arrive as the acomodation is not staffed 24hrs. I would definitely recommend a stay here. The in room fridge is real bonus to keep drinks and food chilled

This is a good place if you want to be near the Vatican. My room was decent, but it had a different location than advertised, on 50 Via de la Giuliana. There was no sign, and it looked like a clandestine hotel. I had to be content with water barely warm for shower. In this place there was no kitchenette, and breakfast was a croissant. No coffee. Luisa, one of the employees, was very nice and helpful.

Nice, lovely place. Great location very nearby Vatican. Good beds and breakfast was very nice - enough choice.
The only drawbacks were the fact that the room was a bit dark (not enough light as the upstairs balcony is keeping most daylight away) and that the shower was pretty bad. Very low water pressure.
But would still recommend this place - good value for price!

For the price we paid we both were extremely happy. The location is very near Vatican and walking distance to the centre - though not as pretty as some other locations in Rome. However the room was beautiful (even though it was very small), everything worked well, the patio for breakfast was lovely and Cynthia was incredibly helpful. The breakfast was ok, fine for the price though we have had better. However everything else would be highly recommended!

Gem in Rome

This is a little gem of a guest house in Rome. Claudio couldn't help us enough and even took our daughter to the airport in his little old Renault. Old building but with lots of personality. Lovely roof top deck for meals or just sitting. Spotless, fresh, well maintained rooms. Has tea and coffee making facilities. Would definitely stay here again.

Propreté : besoin de changement aux niveau des nappes tâchés dans la minuscule cuisine et tâches sur les mur de la salle de bain. Nous avons même dû laver des ustensiles. l'employée semblait occuper dans le corridor.
Un simple filet couvre la fenêtre de la salle de bain et absence de serrure. Point positif l'emplacement et les restaurant du quartier.

El alojamiento tenía una ubicación excelente, Vaticano 10 min a pie y fácil de llegar y rápido al centro de Roma en transporte público.
La habitación tenía todo lo necesario, ropa de cama, toallas, útiles de aseo e incluso una nevera personal.
Habían varias diversas opciones de desayuno incluso para personas intolerantes a la lactosa (noticandolo) me facilitaron yogures, queso y leche aptas para mi consumo que podía guardar en nuestra habitación.
Joseph fue excepcionalmente cercano, servicial y amable e hizo que la estancia fuera aún si cabe más memorable. Incluso jugó al futbolín con nosotras y nos recomendó restaurantes locales.

Muy recomendable.

Não havia ninguém para check in quando chegamos. Tivemos que ligar e as chaves estavam num cofre na entrada. É um apartamento B&B. Não tinham deixado a chave para fechar a porta do quarto, não nos deixou muito confortáveis. A Água do duche não era nada quente. A cama era super confortável.
No dia seguinte encontramos o Joseph bastante professional, foi extremamente simpático e disponivel para o que precisassemos. Prontamente arranjou-nos transfer para aeroporto para o voo de regresso. A localização é excelente para a Basilica S. Pedro ou Museus do Vaticano.

It was not as expected. The person that welcomed us was very nice and helpful. But after we had the room, and until next morning, there was nobody on site.
We had problem with the key to open the door of our room. We had to call the owner who was not in Rome. We finally were able to open it. It would be a good thing to change the door and the lock.
The room was clean and we had coffee and croissants in the morning that was very good.

No nos ha faltado de nada. Josep hizo que nuestra estancia fuera muy entretenida, nos recomendó varios sitios para comer y donde comprar. Skønt sted.

Dejligt lille sted, skøn terrasse, dejligt værelse, der er hvad man behøver, ligger centralt.
Men det bedste af det hele, var Cynthia og Joseph, de var utroligt imødekommende og hjælpsomme. Der var ikke den ting, de ikke ville hjælpe os med.
Vi vil bestemt anbefale det til andre.

A unas 5-6 cuadras del metro, muy cercano al Vaticano. Amplia gama de negocios, restaurantes cerca. El hospedaje tiene una excelente relación calidad - precio, brindan desayuno sencillo pero muy útil, excelente servicio y atención, es un hospedaje tranquilo así como la zona en la que se encuentra. 1 of the 2 contact phone numbers connects to a guy that systematically replies \"sorry wrong number\" when you ask if this is the hotel

The second connects to Cynthia which most of the time doesn't pick up the phone and communicates via WhatsApp messages every now and then

Booked a stay in this place on the wrong dates by mistake. Tried to change the dates or get refunded, never got an answer.

Being charged 200€+ for nothing + being ghosted until I give I up was a terrible experience.

Une erreur s’est produite lors de notre réservation sur l’app car la chambre n’était pas libre pour la première nuit mais les propriétaires nous offert une chambre plus luxueuse dans une autre de leur propriété en plus de défrayer pour nous les taxes locales comme dédommagement pour l’erreur. Ce fut très gentil de leur part!
Au Pratinn Vatican, les employés sont tellement gentils!!!
Les matelas très confortables et la petite terrasse pour prendre notre petit déjeuner a été bien apprécié.
À part le fait que la pression de l’eau dans la douche était très faible, tout le reste était très bien au niveau qualité/prix

El Lugar tiene todo lo que se necesita para estar Cómodo, pasarla bien, construcción tipica de Roma con ascensor! Super Seguro Limpio! Excelente ubicación! A 5 cuadras del Vaticano y medios de transporte! Una terraza hermosa para Desayunar y recomiendo incluirlo. Y destaco la Atención de Cyntia y Josep!

It wasn't any hotel, only one tiny room in a block of flat! Ebooker pictures of the room didn't correspond the size and the condition of this room. No space for luggage and clothes. Very dirty, having broken equipment. The washbasin was blocked, not working. No bed blankets available. The breakfast was far from continental breakfast. The room's key was simply primitive. In the common kitchen the electric switch of the stove was broken and fixed with insulating tape, very dangerous! Cannot suggest to any traveller! We left after 2 nights to a proper hotel, just couldn't stay any longer.
