I just stay from the 6th of Jan to the 9th. I was traveling alone (female) the first night which was Tuesday night went for dinner came back to two males one standing outside and the other standing in the door way were you scan your card was super weird lucky I had a guy friend walk in with me. Then we walked in there was about 6 or people/family sitting in the hall I felt uncomfortable. The other days i spent in door it was very noisy due to remodeling and construction in side one the first floor I was right in 116 were it was happening not cool. Room was clean and the air was great but will not book again.

Hotel is currently under remodel, so lots of areas closed off. Room was very clean, but they forgot to include toilet paper. Had to run downstairs to get a roll. I was very disappointed that room did not have coffee maker. TV was not connected to internet or cable, so could not use. Check in area was not welcoming. Small closed off space, kind of prison like. No lobby to speak of. Must say though, that clerk was very personable.

Property is nice and clean, staff was excellent, Matthew , Tina and another girl that i forget her name, ( I'm sorry about that) were so nice and professional, they were always willing to help me out with anything I needed the days i was there; the room was enough for the days I needed to stay, good A/C, small kitchen, the only thing they don't provide pots and pans, dishes or utensils if you want to cook some breakfast, no gym, no swimming pool; waltmart, restaurants, highways are close by, is a convinient location

The lady who checked me in was so lovely. The room itself was clean but later in the evening I killed 3 roaches climbing on the walls thus the not 5 star review. There were a couple kinda sketchy guys that hung out on the side of the building where not a lot of traffic is but I also tend to be suspicious of everyone. Overall though I would probably stay here again if I had to come down again for work.

WE arrived at about 5pm - and the door to the front office was looked. We waited around for about a half hour, making several phone calls, non of which were answered. We finally went to find another hotel - which was not easy because the whole town of Kllleen was filling up because of a tornado in a neighboring town. I would hope we can get our money back for this.

I am glad I looked at the reviews.
You do have to bring your own supplies needed to cook or clean. The hotel staff may or may not agree with what they have available. For instance the front desk may or may not be aware that the cleaning staff can only provide a broom and dustpan. Fortunately there is a grocery store and a Walmart driving distance from the hotel to pick up supplies you might need. Staff seemed friendly overall and responsive to concerns, but limited in what they could do.

For the most part be expected to do some cleaning when you enter the room and while staying. This hotel, at the time of posting, was a bargain for being in the total solar eclipse path, and what was provided was a place to sleep for the week.

Run down and dead bugs on the walls.

The photos they’re using in their ads must be from a long time ago because this place is run down. I booked online. I got there and didn’t want to stay. The walls are thin and there was banging on the ceiling and the walls in the next room. They refused to give me a refund so I chose to stay there instead of going somewhere nicer. It was not good! There were dead bugs stuck to the walls. The walls were dirty. Everything looked old and run down. There were screw holes in most of the walls. The lights are on some weird timer so they turn off every 20-30 minutes. I was taking a bath and had to get out of the bath to turn the lights back on. This happens in the bedroom too. It’s extremely irritating. I really wish I had read the reviews before I booked the place. I just looked at the photos, which in my opinion, is false advertising. This place is at the top of my list for worst hotel stays.

There was a smell when we got in the room. There was a jacket left on the bathroom door by a previous guest and the keys from the previous guest was also still in the room. If you get the room for the kitchen be aware there are no dishes. You have to rent them separately. But the lady that checked us in was super helpful and sweet!

Staff put another guest in our room - didnt check ID. screwed up our reservation- supposed to be 3 nights, they only charged us for 2 then knocked on the door asking if we wanted to extend. Ended up paying WAY more than we planned due to their issues. Our room was right next to laundry; door slammed every 5 seconds and shook the whole room. Someone's jeep was broken into (2 windows smashed) right beside our car. No 24hr front desk. No coffee maker in room. Saw a roach. Complete nightmare.

Let me start by saying my first room was dirty. Since I had a late checkin the maintenance man or overnight clerk checked me in, so I waited until the next day to get another room. Doing that night the refrigerator and air conditioner was so loud I could barely sleep. The next day Iwhen I went to change my room I went to two different rooms until I finally found a cleaned room. This being said the information that the front desk had for cleaned rooms were wrong. She undoubtedly blamed someone else that worked there. Now this is supposed to be a extended stay. There are no blackout curtains, so as soon as the sun comes up you are up. The beds don’t fit the headboard that is on the wall and neither does the mattress. This place definitely needs new management.

I have serious concerns about the cleanliness of the property and pest management. As soon as I walk into my room, I see cockroaches. 3 roaches crawling on the walls, 1 roach literally crawling out of the dresser drawers, and a roach or two crawling across the floor.

The staff was accommodating when we checked in late. The elevator was dirty with drink spilled on floor. The halls smelled of marijuana each day we were there. There was a roach in our room. The beds were uncomfortable. The only reason we didn’t leave www because we had family that we visited all day and only slept there at night. Someone’s truck was even broken into. We would never stay there again.

At check-in at 3pm, I was informed my room was not ready. I had to wait until 4:30pm to get into my room. 2 rooms near me, the guests were loud, had a lot of traffic, filled the hallway with the smell of marijuana and went in and out there rooms the entire night slamming doors. I called the front desk around 9:50pm to complain and was asked to call at 10pm when the night shift came on. I called back later that night several times and no one answered. Then that evening one of the lights went out in my room. The attendant came to my room and check the breaker box but couldn't get the light to work. She then moved me to another room. Once i got in that room, the same light was out. It was a horrible stay I will never go back.

Totally a bad experience. Checked in with bad attitude staff. Room was filthy. Left to go eat dinner and when returned my card wouldn't open my door. Upon going to the desk i was told they accidentally gave another customer the same room and he actually went into our room! Later around midnight he was knocking on my door to explain why he had a card to my room. Nothing was taken thank goodness but what a joke!

The staff leave after 10pm and don’t come back until 10am and there is no security so the guest were blasting music at all hours and smoking in places they were not allowed to. The room was dirty. I had to move rooms because my nonsmoking room smelled like mildew and cigarette smoke. The carpets were nasty and old. The bed was cheap and rusted. The bathroom was worn and had mildew all over it. The fridge had rust stains all over it.

The staff at the desk was great Ms Tina & Beth were helpful /great.
Room needed maintenance, paint, door lock did not close unless the handle was depressed, had to use the key to be able to leave the room or the door would not lock, secondary safety device had been forcibly removed and door showed wood damage, bathroom comode was clogged when we checked in and would not flush . Window did not latch fortunately they had added a track lock but the window could be opened from the outside (2-3 inches)

Disappointing, Did not get a good nights sleep.

Arrived at hotel after front desk had closed. Paper on wall had phone number that did not go to front desk. Called the number on reservation and it went to voice mail. Stood waiting and luckily someone came to check me in.

Kitchenette had no utensils, plates, cups, pots or pans. Bed was a bare metal frame with no duvet, no comforter, only a fitted sheet and a thin sheet.

TV remote would not change channels easily, volume on TV was either too low to be heard over the air condition, or too loud when the air conditioner was not on.

Saw another guest request towels after 10pm. 15 minutes after the desk had closed. Employee told them they would have to go to Walmart to get towels.

Energy efficient light switches turned lights off every 20-30 minutes. Had lights turn off while in the shower, and while watching TV. Was unable to find a way to keep them on.

Interior hallways had dirty paint in some spots, a button on the elevator was taped over, and had wires sticking out.

Woke up every 30-45 minutes uncomfortable due to lack of covers and stiff bed. Had back and arm pain the entire next day. Did not get a good nights sleep.

The staff were not helpful, they did not maintain the rooms, door lock was broke and they did not fix it, no one EVER answers the phone at the front desk and the automated system would not transfer you to the room, added additional days because your site said they had 2 rooms left, they said they were booked and I would have to leave, then I get charged a one nights stay for cancellation, they were the ones that told me I just needed to cancel, I should not have been charged a cancellation fee when the site stated there were rooms!

My experience with this hotel would be summed up as Hotel Hell. First, I reached out to see if I could check in between 8a.m. -10 a.m. on Saturday. I sent an email on Tuesday before my arrival. No one responded nor no one answered. We arrived at 9 a.m. and no one was at front desk. Used the phone to call and a man answered informing me that check in is at 3p.m. I called after 11 a m. to see if I can check in early because my family and I drove 9 hours and we're tired. I was told by the morning staff that I couldn't. The elevator smelled of marijuana, we didn't get any washcloths or extra towel. There was no laundry done. The front desk personnel was unprofessional. After we were checked in, there was shouting in the hallway. Someone double booked the same room. The front desk personnel knocked at our door. Also, I was given the wrong key for the room. We were already tired and frustrated. I will never recommend this hotel. I give it a one out of five. I'm being nice.

Our room was very clean and there were not any odors in the room. The refrigerator and stove top functioned properly and were very clean as well. It was refreshing to see partial wood flooring in a hotel room as apposed to the tile normally seen in hotels.

However, there are two items of improvements I would suggest. First, the dark green grey paint on the \"bed\" walls needs to be a alternate pastel color to the rest of the room. Second, the bed, though accommodating, needs to be a bit better quality as it seemed like it came from IKEA.
