Cheap hotel trying to be a boutiqe hotel

Checked out after one day and moved to a neighbor hotel. The size of the family room was good. The room felt dirty, showering there the whole bathroom got wet. In general the hotel tries to be a \"design hotel\", but you so clearly feel how cheap all the design elements are....
Got a new hotel closer to the water and still enjoyed our stay in Kristiansand.

Parking was a little far away. I was not offered on site parking. We had an interior room. It would’ve been nice to have an exterior room. All that being said the room was lovely and the beds were very comfortable. It was nice to have a coffee maker in the room as well as a tea kettle. The buffet breakfast is outstanding probably the best we had in Norway.

Great Location but as ahead about parking

Was an overnight stay with a family of 4 so hard to tell about the overall experience with such a short stay. One thing was that we needed to use the hotel parking lot. When we checked in we were told they were book. I was never told to book ahead of time and parking in another lot was a slight challenge as we were leaving for the airport at 4am.

Vi hadde familierom pga ungene var med. Vi hadde rom med veranda ut mot lobbyen. Litt mye bråk fra baren så litt urolige barn rundt midnatt men gikk bra. Fine rom og god størrelse. Litt kaldt om kvelden men det gikk bra. Personalet var utrolig hyggelig. Utrolig koselig med musikk i lobbyen om morgen. Frokosten var helt midt på treet. Kjøkkenpersonalet var 10/10!

Vi ankom sent med færgen fra Danmark, og da vi havde parkeret og ankom til hotellet blev vi mødt af det fineste oppyntede hotel - der emmede af jul og hygge - meget venlig personale selv om klokken blev mange for indtjekning så var personalet venlig og imødekommende. En nat til tanke os op til en længere kører kører tur gjorde godt - der var helt ro på hotellet til en god nattesøvn :)

Trodde det skulle være bedre på Ernst. Man går jo rett inn på rommet, er ikke noe sted å sette skoene. Regnet veldig, så rommet ble jo vått når man gikk inn. Skulle være en dørmatte. Savnet også chromecast. Frokosten var stappet, og mye av maten gikk tom. Så at de som jobbet i frokosten stresset noe veldig, som gjorde oss også stresset

Rommet stilte ikke opp til forventningene i det hele tatt. Vet at bilder lyver men at det sju være så stor forskjell hadde jeg ikke trodd. Trangt rom, liten dusj/badekar. Vi fikk itillegg rom vendt mot sola så var helt forferdelig varmt selv med 3 vifter!

Bad service

When we arrived at the agreed time (3 p.m.) our room was not cleaned yet. The receptionist said that it would be ready in a few minutes and that we can wait in the lobby for a moment. We understood that she will come and let us know when it is cleaned and ready. We waited for almost an hour and when I went to ask why it is not ready yet, she asked my name and seemed that she did not even remember what it was about. Another receptionist joined the conversation and when he understood what it was about, he told immediately that the room was ready. We got the feeling that the first receptionist just forgot us..

För dyrt för vad man får

Detta hotell säljer sig som ett 4-stjärnigt hotell, vilket det inte är. Lobbyn är fin, men rummen är gamla, mörka, trånga och inte värt pengarna. Vi bokade ett deluxe rum (3500NOK), och fick ett rum tillhörande ett 2-3 stjärnigt hotell. Ingen minibar (stängd under sommaren!), urkass AC och ett badrum från sent 80-tal. Som jämförelse så bodde vi natten innan i centrala Olso, 5-stjärnigt hotell för samma kostnad. Och till sist; man måste uppskatta skrikande barn om man bor här (vilket hotellet såklart inte kan rå för, men är av betydande vikt för oss resenärer som inte uppskattar spring och skrik från barn).

Unser Zimmer hat direkt gegenüber einer Karaokebar gelegen, die bis 3:00 Uhr nachts laut Musik gemacht hat. Und das nicht nur an einem Abend, sondern von Montag bis Sonntag.

Bra hotell for folk på ferie

Et bra hotel med det en trenger, men nå på sommeren så åpner ikke frokost før kl. 07.30 dette er alt for dårlig for alle som er på jobb reise, vi var 10-15 stk som stod å ventet på at det skulle åpne og det var ikke snakk om å få slippe inn litt før🙈😡

Litt vel mye luft i ventilasjon inn på rommet da vi hadde små barn der og baby! Så ble ikke så komfortabelt på rommet.. babyen var kald da hun våknet på natta.. reiste hjem 1 dag før tiden.. skulle ha 2 netter, ble bare 1 desverre.

Brukt Ernst mange ganger - og kommer til å gjøre det igjen. Rolig. God seng, Stort bad. God frokost - i rolige omgivelser. Fin service i resepsjon. Sentralt.
Rommet vi hadde var veldig lite og dobbeltsengen var smal. Så er det noen år siden hotellet ble renovert - noe som sees enkelte steder.

Kaldt rom

Sov dårlig i for hard seng. Rommet var kaldt og det var ikke mulig å stille varmen. Det tok hotellet tre netter og ikke få til og reparere dette. Vi fikk ekstra poeng, men ville heller hatt et behagelig opphold

Veldig glatt i badekaret ved dusjing. Det burde være en matte i karet.

Den ordinære kaffen var ikke god, det være seg både morgenkaffen og ellers - jeg gir den navnet «brunt vann».

Flott sentral beliggenhet, hyggelig personale og god mat. Eneste minuset var noe støy fra ventilasjonsanlegget på rommet og en parkeringskjeller som ikke er egnet for annet enn de minste bilene.
Totalopplevelsen er allikevel slik at dette har blitt vårt faste hotell på det blide sørland.
