The staff was friendly and quick, but the hotel entrance was hard to find in the dark because it was moved and there inadequate lighting and signage. The room was clean, but it was TINY and had no room for our suitcases. The bed was also and old spring mattress that sagged in the middle. We stayed only one night because it was close to the airport, so it was bearable but I will not return.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. The convenience to Dyreparken cannot be beat! We had all of our breakfasts and dinners at the hotel and were not disappointed. The table agreed that that their coffee machine is great! We even had a emergency happen while at the hotel with our two year old getting injured while at the hotel (not the hotel's fault, just an accident) and the hotel staff was amazing! Many people on staff jumped in to help along the way, and two of them even offered to drive me and my son to the emergency room since my husband was away from the hotel at the time. When we got back to the hotel after my son getting a few stitches the dinner staff checked in on us again and made sure everything was okay. I cannot say enough nice things about the staff! Regarding the rooms, they have everything you need. The bunkbed rooms are more fun because they are more themed, but we had no issues with cleanliness, or anything like that. Would definitely recommend staying here, and will be back again again some time in the future.

Amazing Hotel, Staff are very friendly and helpful! Next to the Safari Park, I couldn't visit as I was travelling for business so arrived late and left early for the Airport but will definitely visit again. Amazing for families but I felt very comfortable and welcome as a lone traveller. Very Clean.

Property was under renovation while I was there but still an excellent stay. And what could be better than right next door to a zoo, an adventure park, and a singing pirate ship that goes right past your room if you get one overlooking the water! I had a great time. The breakfast is also wonderful!

To be completely honest. I don't think the bunk bed is apropriate and safe for kids above 9 years old. Unless they have a small complexion. My 13 year old had half of his legs out. And I was too afraid for my 8 year old to turn around and fall from the higher bunk bed level in the middle.of the night.
Otherwise I lived the location as you are just next door to Dyreparken entrance and it has its perks. Enjoy the some animals sleep (zebras, ostriches, jirafes, okapies) as they mingle at the yard next to the hotels entrance.

People were smoking right outside so we had to close our window but because there was no temperature control we slept with ice. We used noise canceling headphones but they barely took the edge off the noise At a minimum they should not rent the room we were in but guessing since they didn't offer to move us the entire hotel needs better sound proofing.

Expedia noted this as a hotel close to the Kristiansand airport. They did not mention it was a zoo/pirate themed park. I was travelling for work without my family, so it wasnt a big deal, but this would have been a huge selling point if my kids were in tow.

Selve hotellet, servicen, og frokostbuffé var glimrende. Rommet var veldig enkelt, pluss for vannkoker og tv på rommet. Men vi så rett inn til naboene fra vinduet, så vi valgte å trekke for gardinene under hele oppholdet. Minus for utsikt/innsikt og mye støy/lyder fra gjestene rundt oss.

Hyggelig hotell og praktisk ifht Dyreparken. De ansatte var hyggelig, møtte ingen som ikje var trivelige. Frokosten en en av de beste vi har fått på hotell!!!! Eneste jeg vil anbefale er å sjekke størrelse på rommet ifht hvor mange dere er. Ble kanskje litt trangt, men fikk vel egentlig det vi betalte for.

Hotellet er ganske slitt, dårlig renhold i oppholdsrom og trapper/ganger. Vi kom til rent rom, men ekstra-køyen var det brukt sengetøy på. Vi var i resepsjonen og sa ifra 3 ganger, ble byttet 22.30, litt sent å legge en treåring, da… Frokosten var helt grei, men dyr. Middagsbuffet var også helt grei. Mulig vi vurderer å bo et annet sted neste gang vi skal i dyreparken.

Møtes av veldig vennlige personale når du kommer inn døren som veileder deg så du får registrert parkering og smiler og er glade.
Fikk ett fint stort rom med dusje og en liten køyeseng i tillegg (ble ikke brukt). Vannkoker og kaffe og te på rommet . Grei temperatur på rommet så det var greit og sove men en dobbel seng som heller mot mitten var eneste minus.

3 oppholdet vårt så vi er jo «fornøyd» sån helhetlig. Maten osv er bra der, men renhold på rommet synes jeg burde være bedre. Man burde tømme søpla og fylle på håndklær osv selvom man bare har 2 netter der.

Alt var bra med unntak av dyr frokost , for min 14 åring og meg nok 483. På grunn av dette vil vi søke å finne et annet Hotel neste gang. Vi har planer om å være i Kristiansand en gang per mnd fremover

Veldig lytt på rommene. Vi hadde flere rom i vårt reisefølge. Det rommet hadde en (lite isolert) dør mellom oss og «naboen», vi hørte derfor all hosting, og snakking og krangling mellom de som bodde der 😏 Våknet tidlig om lørdag morgen pga så utrolig lytt mellom rommene 😏 Et av de andre rommene i følget vårt ble så vekket altfor tidlig søndag morgen av motorsag-arbeid (!) inne i Dyreparken kl.0800. Hotellet anbefales ikke for folk som vil ha fred og ro!

Hotellet ligger helt i tilknytning til Dyreparken, så det er kun noen få meter å gå. Standaren er helt gjennomsnittlig. Rommene var alt for små til en familie på fire, selv om vi bestilte større rom. Frokosten er bra, men er svært dyr og koster 250kr per dag per pers. Vennlig og serviceinnstilt betjening. Gode parkeringsmuligheter. Alt i alt et greit opphold, men kommer nok til å velge andre bomuligheter ved neste anledning.

Vi ble ganske skuffet når restauranten var stengt, det blir ikke det samme når man må dra avgårde for å kjøpe noe mat til kvelden. Også var det veldig skiftende varmt/kaldt vann i dusjen. Ellers var det veldig deilig frokost og hyggelig personell i restauranten.

Fint hotell med god parkeringsplass. Brukte ikke restauranten. Baren stengte tidligere enn vanlig, men lite folk så det er forståelig. Mange barn naturlig nok, så for voksne som reiser uten blir det litt støyete. Flott opphold.

Ekstremt lite rom for fire personer, ikke noe plass til bagasje noe sted. Sovesofaen er hard, her burde det ha vært en overmadrass. Sovesofaen knirker også høyt ved den minste bevegelse.Gikk greit for en natt, men ikke mer grunnet plass og comfort. Ellers meget god service, godt tilbud i resepsjonen av snacks, småmat og lignende. Frokost til nesten 1000kr for 4 pers var helt uaktuelt, fin med kjøleskap på rommet for egen frokostmat. Rent rom. Mye innsyn.
