The staff were the highlight of the stay. So friendly offering tea when I arrived and provided information of what to see and where to eat. Bed was very comfy and the facilities of the bathroom were top tier. Unfortunately I slept in so didn’t get the good of the breakfast but they offered to make me a coffee to good which I was appreciative of. Definitely would come to stay again next time I visit Rabat!

Amazing service and clean riad. The ladies working the reception were SO personable, caring and accommodating. We were travlling with a young child and they went out of their way to accommodate our needs. The little touches in the rooms were great. A very close walk to the market. The riad is just outside of the wall of medina. The medina of Rabat is small and very walkable. It is walkable from the train station if haggling with a cab driver is not your thing. The property is clean and sober. The staffs are helpful. Breakfast is abundant. Rooms are clean. Very quiet. A good place to stay.

Meriem and her staff were amazing. The Riad is in a quiet spot just outside the walls, convenient to everything. Taxi drivers in Rabat always use the meter and do not try to haggle a higher price. The museums in Rabat and the beautiful Atlantic beaches make this my favorite city in Morocco. Riad Meftaha is great value for your money.

In addition to the convenient location , cleanliness level in the room and facilities is exceptional. Breakfast was very generous and personalized. Attention to details in every aspect, ex. Baladi soap in bathroom, water bottle in room, water kettle and water jug in room, replenished daily, free tea and coffee available throughout the day, orange blossom smell throughout, fresh clean hand towels availavle in common area toilet. Hiba welcomed us at reception upon arrival with a big smile and was extremely helpful throughout our stay, responsive to any request and very courteous. We will go back again and again without any hesitation

We stayed at Riad Meftaha for a few days with our kids. The riad is located close to the entrance to the medina, within walking distance of the Kasbah of the Udayas and the Andalusian gardens. The riad is beautiful and has a nice rooftop terrace, our room was spacious and clean, and the wifi worked quite well. The ladies who run the riad were welcoming, accommodating, and arranged our transportation to the train station. We highly recommend this riad.

Wonderful quiet riad near medina/beach w/super svc

This riad is a wonderful blend of traditional Moroccan and European style. It's elegant, quiet, accessible to nearby medina and souk, even a leisurely walk to the beach. Great service with a smile. Breakfast is top notch and the welcome drink and snack was very appreciated. The room is reasonably large with high ceilings and beautifully decored bathroom. Highly recommended.

The Room was superb, best mattress and shower I've had in 2 weeks in Morocco.
BUT, the room was adjacent to the lobby and dining room, the room had no windows other than the ones looking onto these areas. You can hear a pin drop and anything happening, so you need good earplugs if you want to sleep past 8am, you need some really good earplugs. When I did manage to fall back to sleep, they knocked numerous times on my door to remind me of breakfast. Also, they played the same 3minute flute song for hours on repeat, which would drive anyone nuts.
There doesn't seem to be AC, so in the summer, it must be scorching hot in the room, without any windows.

Memorable Stay at Riad Meftaha

The Riad Meftaha is a gem of Rabat! We came to explore Rabat for a week and host Franck and Sameera made us feel really welcome - like a family! They would greet us first thing for breakfast and at the end of the day Sameera will make sure we are happy. The Riad was very clean, they sanitize the place continuously so we felt safe. The room we booked was Bouregreg, and had a private entrance. For Valentine’s Day, Franck made it special for us and helped us order take out food with freebie artisan soap made by his wife. On our last night I was so touched when they gave us a surprise of a bottle of Moroccan wine for us to enjoy. Truly memorable stay at Riad Meftaha! I will surely recommend this place!

Worth a visit.

Our stay at Riad Meftaha was very good. The room condition, cleanliness and service was excellent. We had to leave before breakfast but were offered breakfast packs without even asking, and these were available before we left. The only downside was that the advertised parking on site is on the street just about anywhere you can find a spot, which can be quite far away if there is congestion.

Stuck out and then inside our room!

The place was lovely and a nice surrounding. However the lock on our room was not great when we arrived and the bent key needed to use the lock didn’t help.
On our return after an evening out we tried to open the door whilst being watched by the member of staff that was working. The key just kept turning in the lock. She then attempted and had the same problem. We were then left sat in the lounge area for 45 minutes until they managed to force the door open.
We then couldn’t lock the door that night so didn’t have a great nights sleep. And the next morning we didn’t feel like we could leave the hotel as again we could not lock the room. So we ended up wasting our entire morning (our only morning in Rabat too!) stuck in the room.
When we were leaving after checking out the owner seemed very pleased to tell us that he was now going to fix the lock - we had literally already left the hotel and he chased after us to tell us!
This was the most expensive place we stayed at during our 2 weeks around Morocco and although the riad was nice I can’t help feeling very dissatisfied about the whole situation.

Pretty Riad and very warm service

Very friendly and warm service, in a beautiful Riad. They even had Christmas/New Year's Eve decorations, which we rarely saw during our Morocco travel. So clearly they were thoughtful about their foreign tourists clientele. We arrived very late but they were waiting for us and served us with tea and tasty Moroccan sweets. They also arranged for a driver for us from Rabat to Meknes. The room was comfortable, even though it was a bit cold (fairly typical situation for many Riads in Morocco in winter).

We loved everything about our stay at the Riad Meftaha in Rabat. It is a very kid friendly. We arrived late at night, and even though kitchen was closing, they offered us dinner. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of breads, spreadings, fruits, orange juice and a delicious Morocco tea. Bedroom and bathroom were clean and cozy. Decoration was warm and very interesting for Brazilian/American family.
The ladies working there were super nice and made us feel at home.
A special thanks to Rajaa and Chama, they were very sweet and professional women!!

Riad Meftaha is beautiful - the building, the people, and the food. Everything! The bed was one of the comfiest beds we have slept on in a very long time. We were greeted with tea and biscuits even though it was late at night and we were nearly 4 hours late because of a delayed flight. The breakfast was amazing. We only wish we had more time to experience the spa and the restaurant. The tilework and decor is absolutely gorgeous. I'd highly recommend that you stay in this little oasis in the medina of Rabat!

Good value riad in urban area. Very pleasant service on arrival and at breakfast by two young ladies, one did not speak English but we managed in French and she used a speech translation app on her phone. Some information about Rabat would have been helpful and we did not see the riad owner. The location is very convenient, near the kasbah and coast but easy walk down to station and ville nouvelle though taxi is necessary with luggage.

This place is fanatsiatic. If you are in a romantic getaway or with friend or even on solo trips this place is awesome to stay. Very quite and tranquil feel with Moroccan culture infused both in building architecture and service. The room was very comfortable and amenities were best. The staff has been extremely good polite and helpful. Although there was a bit of a struggle if you don’t speak French or Arabic but google translate helped mitigate that problem.

I have to say, the staff were so friendly. They greeted me with smiles and plied me with mint tea. The bed was soft, the room was warm, and spacious, and had all the amenities I could need. And breakfast was a real treat. Very sweet, very filling. I wish I hadn't left so soon-- that I had stayed at least one more day. Fortunately... I will be returning for one more night in a few days time.

The staff was extremely helpful , I wanted to cancel after having problems finding the place due to GPS miss guidance, but after calling the front desk she asked a kind person who knew ithe language and way around to ride with me and show me where the place was. I tried to give the kind person 50 DHA, but he only ask for 20 to take taxi back to where I picked him up, that made my day after the bad experience in had in another city I stayed the night before. Rajah was excellent in preparing breakfast, helping with getting laundry done and all the other things she do in the guess house, give her my regards, and also the young lady (Chaymae) who work in welcoming guest and offering tea. My star was an interesting and positive one.

The most beautiful riad I stayed in morroco

Traditional, colourful and beautiful riad. Comfort bed, clean, hot water, good facilities, even with a jacuzzi, good breakfast with fruit. The owner and staff (Samira) greeted us on arrival. Samira served us morroco tea and breakfast. She told us the neaby scenes and introduced the hotel toom detailly. From hotel to Rabat ville train station is 1.7 km.

Charming riad close to the medina

My wife and I stayed for two nights with our infant daughter. Franck and his team made us feel right at home. The hotel is very conveniently located with ornate and spacious rooms at a very fair price. However, the service is what we appreciated most. From thoughtful restaurant suggestions, to an excellent restaurant, refrigerating milk for our daughter, and even washing her clothes, this place had it all. Thank you!

the riad is 10 minute walk fron the medina and numerous good restaurants. the hosts were friendly and personable. our room was spacious and well appointed. the shower deserves a special mention with the choice of overhead, handheld or body jets. breakfast was a great selection of breads, pasteries, fruit, olives, figs, eggs and more.
The eating area has a 6 m high ceiling and is open to the atrium/courtyard. a wonderful space to begin the day. riad decor is beautiful. fully agree with all the positive reviews of this place.

I really enjoyed my holiday at this wonderful Riad. The property is close to the medina, the souks and the train station is only 10 minutes by taxi.

The rooms were very clean with complimentary drinks and I had no issues with wifi. The staff are very helpful and they provided an excellent service.

I will definitely book it again, if I decided to go to Rabat!

Perfect, wish we stayed Longer!

My husband and I loved our stay, we wanted to book an extra day after staying there, but they were fully booked. Definitely going back and staying longer! We stayed in many places in Morocco and this was our favorite place by far. Service was outstanding, room was perfect and the breakfast was delicious. Surprised how much they gave us, more than even variety. Thanks for an amazing stay and the hospitality. We'll be back for sure.

absolutely marvellous riad, highly recommend it.
From the warm and cordial reception to the detailed care during the two day stay, everything was perfect. All other riads should judge themselves against this riad, it is the standard.

Merveilleux séjour , chambre spacieuse. Personnel très gentil et aux petits soins. Petit déjeuner copieux et parfait.. pour tous les goûts .. hôtel très bien situé , nous y avions un merveilleux séjour et ne nous ne manquerons pas d’y retourner lors de. Ôtez prochain séjour à Rabat.
