Decent little hotel

Good little hotel, communicated with us by email. Room was clean, comfy bed, small balcony, small bathroom, TV. Breakfast was decent, better than I'd expected. Convenient location, walkable distance to all main sights & train station. We left a jacket behind & they are being helpful in trying to get it back to us (we're paying the cost). Taxis park outside too. Hotel has a lift.

Lovely hotel near main sightseeing spots.

Lovely and quaint hotel near the old Medina and Mohammed V avenue. Little coffee shop and restaurant at the hotel. Great staff - very helpful and courteous. Breakfast is fine. Recycling doesn’t seem to exist yet in this country. Rabat is a wonderful city! I Fully recommend!

Small pleasant hotel

Very much enjoyed Hotel Malak.
Service was good, room and bathroom of good quality and a nice buffet breakfast in the morning.

It’s a apartment building converted to hotel and I could hear the people talk through walls and the when neighbors flushed their toilet or wash their hands I could clearly hear them and it was not pleasing

Very noisy area. Unfortunately the hotel did not reflect what I had seen on Tripadvisor. The waiters were excellent... thank goodness. The room was fine. The bathroom tiny!

We were welcomed warmly by the evening receptionist who was very helpful! The location was pleasant & near a beautiful park. The bed was comfortable. The walls were thin! (The guy nextdoor ranted until 1am. But,at that hour, no one was at the desk who understood my complaint! Breakfast with an omlet& orange juice on day one was great. Day 2 lacked both due to waiters more interested in their concerns. We were very turned off. What a difference from how we were welcomed...

Evening staff that greeted us was wonderful to talk to! The wall between our room& the next were too thin. The guy next store was loud until 1 am when i pounded on the wall because no one at the desk then could understand English. The breakfast was good the 1st day yet very little available on day 2. The food was put up @ 10 ,(or before) when the desk told us 10:30! Waitstaff were tired I guess...whose in charge?!

Close to medina , staff is very friendly . Need to improve the quality of shower specially replace the Old fashion Curtain. Need to install the sound proof system . I heard shower noise from next door . Breakfast is ordinary but the restaurant is clean

Amazing 3-star hotel

Hotel was amazing for a 3 star accommodation. Toilet was clean. They even provided up to standard iftar and suhoor meals. Staff were also extremely helpful and friendly. Would stay again

Brilliant hotel in great location

Was soo pleased with the stay. Khalid was soo helpful, spoke good English and provided us with a plan to visit the sites walking which was perfect. Showed us the amazing view from the roof top highlighting the route to take.

Provided advice on how to get the CTM bus and even helped us call a taxi from the street.

Rooms were spacious, clean and most importantly the AC heater worked which trust you need in December.

Breakfast was ok, no kettle in the room however the security guard bought up a thermo kettle/jug at 5:30am in the morning as we had a bus to catch.

A few improvemens for the hotel, kettle in the rooms, improve breakfast, although it did the job and change the shower curtains to glass.

Thank you for a lovely stay.

Good Stay!

We had a nice 1 night stay at Malak Hotel. The manager was friendly and check in went well. Room is nice, clean and fresh. In the morning they brought the breakfast up to our room which we felt was nice. It was easy to walk to and from the train station, but there are also loads of taxi's outside if needed. We will stay here again. Definitely good value for money.

Awesome service by a gem!

Found this hitel randomly through a search and decided to stay. And I am so glad that I did! The hotel is very new and was undergoing renovations when I arrived. The hotel staff is very kind, accomodating, and just overall try to make your stay fabulous!

When I arrived I had some trouble with my can driver and Hassan at the front helped me so much. He got me checked in quickly to my room where I relaxed in front of my flat screen tv and firm/plush bed. The bathroom unfortunately leaves a lot to be desired and needs a good scrubbing.

The hotel does have air conditioning, but not all the rooms have personal air conditionings. So, you can either ask for a room with a personal air conditioner or you can ask them to turn on the air conditioner. This really helps when the high is 30 or 35!

The breakfast was also very nice as well. If you ask the staff they will make you an omlet as the breakfast is bread, yogurt, tea/coffee, and cheese.

Also, the area around the hotel is not the best, but is in a 20-30 minute walking distance of major spots to see, such as the beach, rabatville train station, old medina, chellah, and tour Hassan. Despite the heat I managed to get around the city without a taxi. The staff was very happy to also help me find places to go and recommend restaurants.

Overall my stay at the hotel was comfortable and relaxing. I would recommended it and come back again!

Nice hotel for an enjoyable stay

Really nice hotel. Staff was exceptional and genuinely concerned about making my stay enjoyable. Room was small but very clean. Made a great home base for exploring Rabat. Will stay there again if I ever make it back to Rabat!

you get what you pay for

The location is fantastic, and this hole in the wall hotel being one of the most affordable ones in Rabat, it's great for a night or two if you need to be close to the train station. What I did not appreciate, but this happens all over Morocco, is that upon paying something, in this case tax, the staff just doesn't give you back your change- it's the Moroccan compulsory tip. The receptionist took only 4 Dh which is about 45 cents, but it's a matter of principle- I would tip ten times that if I had gotten my change back. Rooms are tiny but clean- that's why it's good for a day or two otherwise you'd get claustrophobic.

Modern, clean hotel near Medina and centre

Small but lovely modern hotel right near Medina gate but also walkable to most sights. Staff were wonderful and so helpful. eg offered to print out my boarding pass on their reception computer as no business centre. My previous 4 star hotel unhelpfully would not print it for me. Arranged my taxi trip to airport, even nipped to the bank nearby to change Euros to Dirham for me, chatted to me every time I entered and escorted me to restaurant to show me around ...so helpful they made my visit so enjoyable. I could hear the traffic noise outside was loud as on a main square so asked for a quiet room away from the road which they gave me. The view from the new room was not as nice but at least there was no noise which was bliss and preferable. Breakfast was basic but fresh and taken in the restaurant that faces the square and used by polite locals alike which made it enjoyable and different to the corporate brand feel that I find a bit boring in other hotels. Service was very good and great English spoken. I dined here also as I enjoyed breakfast and the food and service in eve was equally good. Wifi was good throughout hotel. Some noise from corridors as the floors are marble and tile which causes clatter of suitcase wheels and can cause echoing voices so maybe earplugs needed if you are a very light sleeper like me.

Nice hotel and central to sights

Lovely hotel with helpful staff, especially Khafid who was very friendly and welcoming, and Mohammad who provided excellent service.
The hotel was nice and clean with good facilities. Very close to the medina, hassan tower (15 minute walk). I Would stay here again and would also recommend it to others.

All good about the hotel and the room, and i would come back to this hotel again and again. few issues they can work on to make it perfect first is the bathroom, as water leaks during showering and the second is the Breakfast which is very basic with no choice, they bring some breads and one jam, one honey, one cheese, and one batter on a tray and that's it really. on the third day i asked for fried eggs and they bring it. You see what i mean, there is no menu and if you did not ask you you don't take. I use to drink coffee first things in the morning, tea with breakfast. one day i asked for another coffee and i had to pay for it, as they said 2 drinks only allowed, LOL.

Ce n'est pas mon premier séjour à l'hôtel Malak. A proximité de nombreux points d'intérêt : 10 min à pied de la gare rabat ville, bab medina à côté et le tramway passe à proximité.
Hôtel :
Personnel et portier très disponible et sympathique.
Bon petit déjeuner varié, avec éléments salés comme œufs brouillés, fromages, salade, et éléments sucrés comme viennoiseries, gâteaux, fruits, yaourt (svp prevoir yaourt sans sucre pour les diabétiques merci). Serveur très gentil. Belle salle sur le stah pour profiter de la vue sur la ville, medina et la mer lorsque temps degagé.
Chambre : Menage propre, femmes de menage très serviables également. Installé côté ruelle, il n'y avait pas de bruit la nuit, j'ai très bien dormi. Literie confortable. Niveau équipement : il y a notamment un petit coin table avec un fauteuil, une armoire de rangement pour les vêtements. C'est assez spacieux pour moi. Il y avait une bouilloire à mon premier sejour mais pas dans le second, c'est un plus.
Globalement, cest un bon hôtel sur Rabat, avec un petit café resto au rez de chaussée avec des prix tres accessible. Bon rapport qualité prix : je le recommande.
