My stay at this hotel was just okay overall. While the location was convenient, the property itself could definitely use better upkeep and attention to cleanliness. It appeared that one side of the hotel has been newly renovated with updated rooms, but unfortunately I was placed in an older section that felt worn and not as well maintained. The customer service also left a lot to be desired. The employees were not particularly warm or accommodating, and interactions often felt more transactional than welcoming. What was most frustrating, however, was being double charged during my stay. I was told the issue would be corrected and that someone would follow up with me, but I never received a call or any resolution.

Nice room, comfortable bed. Heating unit for my room and another nearby room made a lot of noise and it was difficult to sleep. And charging or putting a hold on my card for $150 for just one night I was just looking to sleep was a bit much.

The staff, particularly the young woman, were very sweet, kind, and helpful. I felt safe in the hotel and could park my car within easy access to my room. I was warm enough and comfortable enough all night. Though I was not able to use the pool, it looked very inviting and is a great asset to the inn. I was attending an event in New Bedford for the weekend. I found it easy to get to New Bedford from the inn and easy to park there, as parking is free on Saturdays. I also found several nice restaurants and friendly people all around.

Upon checking there were no rooms on the first floor and was directed to the second floor which is more like a third floor with the half floor steps you had to climb no elevator. The room assigned was supposed to be a queen bed it was not. Pond complaining there was no manager available so we said we would just lodge a complaint and the front desk called back of graded our room to a king size bed on the first floor. There was some kind of odor in the hallways but couldn't identify it

We stayed at this hotel as a last minute getaway and took our German Shepherd. We had a room with 2 doubles which are the pet friendly rooms. The room was recently really nicely remodeled and was very clean. The beds were comfortable and it was very peaceful and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to go back.
There is an Indian restaurant onsite and there was a lovely bar with live entertainment at the back overlooking the marina. The food and the drinks there was excellent. Our dog was even relaxed and fell asleep on the floor next to the table outside on the patio and enjoyed chicken nuggets and fries. We checked out and when I arrived home I realized I had left my boots in the room. I called the front desk who called me back within 15 mins to confirm they were there. I sent a prepaid shipping label via email and they boxed them up and sent them back to me. Just wanted to say thank you to the front desk gentleman for sending these back and providing such an exceptional customer service. We will be back!!

Overpriced. Property dated, not well cleaned (crumbs and wrappers in halls, room surfaces sticky and stained) AC wasn’t working very well, room felt damp and muggy.

I booked this hotel because it was dog friendly. I booked a deluxe room since we brought our 2 dogs. Upon check in I was told the deluxe room didn’t allow dogs. They told me to cancel through Expedia & they would rebook me directly. Its the day of check in so I couldn’t do that. We drove 3 hrs to be told oh well. I wasn’t happy and said just put us in a dog friendly room & refund the difference. Instead we were allowed in the room & they up charged us more per day for the dog's. Our room had a bathroom sink they leaked & no one responded to my calls. No towel racks in bathroom & dog peeing area was sand with rotted raw chicken left in the middle. I would not recommend.

it is an older property. They are in the process of doing updates, but sometimes there’s only so much you can do. There were ants in our room in our bathroom. I think it could be cleaner the photos online made it look nicer than it really is.

The room smelled and felt musty/humid. The rubber base is pulling away from the wall, the towels have stains, and there is even a hole in a wall. Because of the waterfront bar and live music, there was also no parking when my kids and I came back from dinner. The lot was full from the locals at the bar. Since we were on the first floor, we had all the lights from cars coming and going all night. We could hear the band clearly, it was that loud, and the patrons were yelling outside our window and we hardly got any sleep. The gym was out of commission, signs claiming they are under renovation, and the advertised free breakfast is not a thing. From what I heard up from, the hotel had been “under renovation” for a long time with no work actually being done. I left early for a race, paid extra for my kids to do late checkout. I didn’t find out from them until well after we left that they couldn’t take showers because the shower wasn’t working. So much for paying the extra fee. I consider the $270 I spent a total waste. This isn’t a resort; it’s a low budget motel.

Before booking on Sunday and arrive at the resort Monday I called the front desk. I mentioned online it shows live music and a bar they said yes I also asked if the gym was open and if they had free weights they said yes! When we arrived the gym was closed and being remodeled and I was also informed the the live music was only on the weekends. When we went to pack and leave on Wednesday we found the entire area around the air conditioner socking wet and so were our clothes!

There were tiny flies flying around the room at times, limited number of towels for two night stay, and hair on the pool towels. However, the bed was comfortable and shower was decent. 1. We realized that we were given a handicap room only when we went to take a shower the next morning(with a large bathroom, the showerhead was mounted very low for handicapped people, and we had difficulties using it).
2. The bed area was very small.
3. There was a loud noise at night, most likely from some machine or the refrigerator.
4. The door was jammed. We had to kick hard to open the door.
5. The TV did not have the option to watch Netflix or other similar channels, even if I wanted to log in using my account or pay for the service.
6. The swimming pool is available only from 9 AM to 9 PM. No hot tub.
7. There were no additional services such as breakfast, spa/massage, etc.
Overall, I won't call it a resort, but a motel with a high price (by calling it a resort).

When we first arrived we were charged up.front for the room. This should of been an indication of what was to come. We were on the second floor, no elevator. We needed to switch to a one night stay so they switched out room. The room was disgusting. There was a bag of trash with wet cigarettes butts in the bathroom. Wet towels on the floor. Our ac unit had mold all over the front of it. There was a dried up booger on the wall. Fridge just about fell out of the cabinet when you opened it. The room smelled like a wet mop. There were a bunch of drunk people hanging outside the side door smoking and being loud. We tried to get a refund but the girl at the font desk suddenly didnt understand us. We left and stayed somewhere else.

At 4pm for check-in, my room was not ready (check in is at 3pm). No hotel staff present except housekeeping. The person who checked us in was working the front desk and cleaning rooms. There was a sign on the front desk that said “be back soon” but waited for almost 10 minutes before someone showed up. AC unit had instructions to use thermostat on wall, but there was only a patch in the wall where there must have been a thermostat in the past. A Sweet N’ Low packet was placed over the peep hole. Remote had no back, so had to hold the batteries in place to use it. Comforter on the bed had bleach spots. Could not wait to check out!

Great location right on the bay. Nice bar outside with live music. Fairhaven is a nice town, especially the area around Fort Phoenix. Sadly, this property let itself down. The room was dirty, and I have never seen such dirt in the glasses and mugs. Made me feel sick. The coffee maker did not work; but worse it also fused the electrics of the room, so actually dangerous.

It was nice. Definitely good to get off the scallop boat I came in on for 3 nights. Was bummed the hot tub was gone. Rasputans around the corner was a fun spot. Good proximity to everything we needed. Only down side I would say is I’ve stayed numerous times over the last five years and it seems like the construction never stops.

The staff is most professional and attentive. They helped me navigate this town and made check in quite easy. The Seaport hotel has been renovated and brought up to speed since my last visit 8 months ago. I found the indoor pickleball facility in this town to be terrific and it was only a mile away!

We had a king room on first floor and it was recently updated except for the tub and tile. The bed was comfortable and the room was a good size.
My child loved the pool but there is no hot tub as it was filled in with dirt and plants. It okay place to stay for a night but no breakfast and not exactly perfectly cleaned or maintained.
