Why be so cheap and get rid of the hot breakfast on the weekends when families go there? We pay a higher rate and get less. That sounds about right for world we live in. We have stayed at this property a dozen or more times but I doubt we will be back. It used to be a good value but not any more. We used to like the Hampton Inn on the Cape Cod Canal also but that place got ridiculously expensive. Another good place that values the almighty dollar over its guests. I’m so not surprised. We had a wonderful week long stay at the hotel even though there was a snowstorm (blizzard) that cut power to the facility for 2 days. We had no heat, etc. but the hotel staff was absolutely great to make everyone comfortable and ensured their guests were feed and had what they needed. The hotel manager, Crystal Demoranville and her staff went out of their way to assist all hotel guests. I'll definitely stay there again.

At 3am a group of people were right outside our window making a lot of noise. I heard a loud noise and it woke my spouse up as well. In the morning, there was a fried chicken bone outside our window. When we told the receptionist when we checked out, she said there are no security cameras in the back of the hotel.

Great room. Nice facility. The girl at the front desk around 6 o’clock is an All-Star. I was going to a dinner I needed to do a speech. I needed to do some updates on the computer and then print it. I had some technical difficulties and she jumped right in and helped and got my speech printed for me. She was top notch.

I was not aware that there was no tub in the room when I booked. Also, the room was really dusty and you could see dust built up on all surfaces in the room. There was a ton of particles near and around the base of the TV. The toilet didn’t flush well, you had to hold it down for a significant amount of time to flush fully. I wasn’t fully satisfied.

Hampton Inn has very nice. Staff was very helpful and professional rooms were comfortable and very spacious. Breakfast was provided with really good coffee. We would stay here again if we come back to New England

This hotel is a true gem. Tucked away in a quiet spot, with a shopping center and restaurants nearby. Conveniently located to explore the area from Newport, RI to Cape Cod. Our room was spacious and comfortable; breakfast was better than most, with hot and cold options that slightly varied from day to day. Staff was nothing but nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

It’s just perfect for me. It’s close to my family when I visit from New York and it’s a good place to call it the night. The staff is friendly, the rooms are great, and the breakfast is excellent. Even better, our dog Tonio is welcome.

Overall very happy. Quiet and clean. Breakfast was perfect. Only negative was the bathroom door didn’t close well and there was no conditioner in the shower. Really needed that but it was too late when I realized.

I requested a handicap accessible room. in the first room. I had had a tub shower with a bar on one side, but the showerhead was on the other side. Even at six feet tall my arm span could not reach both the bar as well as the showerhead and it was very difficult getting into the tub. I asked the front desk if they could find a new room and they did that within a few minutes, but even that room number 111 only had one bar in the shower. at my next stay in another hotel there were several bars in the shower and the showerhead was conveniently located. As someone with limited mobility at the moment, I had a hard time, especially with the first room.

Property was undergoing renovations so there was some inconvenience. Did have two room issues but Leo, the maintenance guy took care of them immediately. The breakfast choices were excellent and well maitained. The area is unwalkable with a major road and no sidewalks.

We stayed here Fourth of July weekend on a spur of the moment trip. It was myself, husband, baby, and dog. From the moment we entered, staff was immediately kind and handed us treats for our dog. Our room was well sized, stocked and extremely clean. It was about an hour drive from cape cod, which wasn’t bad at all! The pool was nice and clean as well. The location is close to many food places. Can’t forget to mention the free breakfast was delicious!! I’d definitely stay here again :)

They are doing updates, but we had a room that was noisy with an old bathroom fan and AC that kept the room at 78 degrees. The separate room suite was dark and dingy. The only window overlooked the parking lot so you had people looking in if you raised the shade.

Easy, quick check in. Pet friendly with nice area for dogs right behind the hotel. Very sound proof rooms. Wonderful room darkening shades. Great pool for a quick dip. Comfy beds. Traveled with 2 dogs, 10 adults, 2 kiddos. Had 4 rooms all near each other. Just awesome!!

I enjoyed the location - it was very close to shopping areas and other fun places. Didn’t enjoy the noise that sounded like mice in the air conditioner. That kept us up most of the night. My husband mentioned this to the front desk.

We were next to the \"machine room\" and it made noise all night long.
In room AC was loud.
Got about 4 hours sleep.
Complained the next morning and was told \"Sorry\".

We have been staying at Hampton Inn New Bedford annually for years as relatives live in the area. The renovations are nice, and weblook forward to more. We like the convenience of Fairhaven and the shopping nearby, and the Whaling Museum is a must-see. The breakfast buffet is nice and plentiful, and the staff are very helpful. We had a problem with our window shade which kept our room dark the whole time, in spite of 3 calls to the front desk. Apparently no maintenance person was available, but we kept being told they'd send someone up right away. When checking out, they said the manager would give us extra points on our Hilton rewards account. Otherwise we were very happy with our stay and will be back again.

Housekeeping never cleaned room or replaced firty towels until i complainted. They front desk staff blamed me. I never once but the door hanger on my foor tge whole time during my stay. General manager even blamed me for the issue of my room not being cleaned.
