The rooms were not very clean and the furniture had water damage/woodpeeling. Also the bed was horrible. I will not be staying again. Totally over priced for what it was . The sheets on the bed had holes in them. There was no water pressure at all. Took forever to was my hair. I had to use a bucket fill it with water to rinse my hair out. Worst time there. And don’t even try to get ahold of the front desk. They are never there

The View from the suite is fantastic. The suite is large enough for 4 people. The lay out is very nice. Bed and bedding is okay but not Luxurious. The Sofa is very uncomfortable and has been sawn together on the arm rest. The staff seem pleasant and helpful.

Thouroughly enjoyed our stay at Bayside with one exception. We purchase snacks from reception (crisps and a peanut bar) having eaten them I was fiddling with the wrappers and noted they were both over their sell buy dates. One by 2 months and the other by 6 months! We drew this to the attention of the staff who were very apologetic. Once checked out I noticed that we were still being charged for the items! I emailed the hotel to point out the situation and got nil response! Payment has since been taken. VERY disappointing customer service!

Staff was very nice but the room was so so. I stepped out of the shower then back in and the water coming off my feet was black. Best guess the grey floors had not been cleaned in a month or more. Unfortunately we probably will not return and that’s a shame since we hit the keys a few times a year.

I would not recommend this property at all. It’s basically a low grade motel. Room was dirty and in need of major repair. Grounds were unkept, garbage spilling over. Staff were rude and extremely unhelpful. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

This property is extremely worn. All the chrome fixtures are completely rusted. The air conditioning unit while working fine was rusted and moldy. The bed was extremely hard and the linens were cheap and thin. The location is good but that would be the only positive about this property.

The experience was very disappointing. The sink was clogged, and the room was not properly cleaned, there was visible dust in multiple areas. There was also no shampoo provided upon arrival, and it was only brought after calling, which shouldn’t be necessary at this level. This is definitely not what you expect from a $300-per-night hotel. There are plenty of better options nearby for the same price.

We only stayed 2 nights..I thought it was way overpriced for the room. The shower was terrible. We paid a resort fee not sure what it was for since we couldn't use the kayaks because of the windy weather and our room was not made up or fresh towels given.

This property is not maintained well. No pool towels like they stated. The pool towels that were returned in the bin next to the womens bathroom were never emptied and washed from Friday-Sunday. They lady at the desk kept saying they were short towels because nobody returns them. But maybe they should wash the dirty ones that are at the pool! The kayaks were never unlocked due to wind. One paddleboard for all the guests was in the lagoon. The bathrooms near the pool were filthy. No water pressure in our 3rd floor room. I couldnt even get the shampoo out of my hair. And to top it off on the second night we discovered out pillows were never changed from the prior guests. One pillow had a prior guests POPCORN in the pillowcase. We did not have popcorn! Very disappointed in our stay. The front desk lady when checking out just said \"sorry they are suppose to change all pillowcases when changing over the room\" when i told her about the pillowcase! And the pool is small, freezing, and cloudy. You cant see your feet. The room on the 3rd floor we were in had a very loud ac that never stopped clicking.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for one night as a quick weekend getaway and really enjoyed it. The person at the front desk who checked us in was incredibly polite and welcoming, and she even got us into our room a little early which was a nice surprise.

The experience with the property was great but the experience with Expedia was terrible. Will never go through Expedia again. Recommending going directly with the property. Had to leave a day early due to the weather and flight changes. Hotel agreed to reimburse the day but Expedia refused to do their part. Rented a car for the same trip abd the price on Expedia was $599 less than the actual. Expedia does not accurately reflect the amount you will pay nor do they care about you once you pay their portion of the bill. Better off paying direct.

Hotel rooms need a bit of TLC. The dock was great for the sunset and you could fish from the pier. Room itself was tired due to the humidity warping the furniture and salt air rusting everything. It’s fine, but price was not worth it. Not a 3 star property aside from the location.

Overall I would not stay at this property again. The cleanliness of the room was severely lacking. Including finding a drawer full of clothes that the precious guest had left. My room shades weren’t working properly and the elevator was broken during our stay. The positive is that the property sits in a beautiful spot on the water and there are great seats and hammocks to sit with a gorgeous view. Walk next door to Snooks for food and drinks on the water. Overall was not clean enough for me and most definitely not worth the high price.

Private beach was beautiful, not overcrowded during our stay. Pool looked nice but didn’t use it during out time as we were on the beach more so. Was nice there was games to play and activities to do. Wish there was a fire pit and a grill to use on the property. You pay a “resort fee” for each day you stay, so I feel more things should be included on site. Also wished that our room would’ve gotten cleaned and new towels during our stay. We had to ask multiple times for 2 days straight for a housekeeper, when you spend what you do here it would be nice for the room/fresh towels to be up-kept. It is a little more pricey down here for stays but this was the more “affordable” in the key area. Front desk staff was kind and helpful. Would recommend for a weekend stay!

Pool was dirty, cloudy had debris and never saw anyone cleaning it. I even complained to front desk. Had to chase down maids for toilet paper, clean towels. Requested they clean room and change sheets when we were gone for the day, came back and nothing was done. We were there for 9 days and terrible service. Elevator went down and they didn’t even put a notice on it. We were on the third floor and my husband is disabled so I called the office and they said because it was a weekend they couldn’t get it repaired until Monday, I requested they move us to a ground floor and they refused. I finally had to site the ADA federal laws. It was fixed that night but they never notified us. This place is run down and all I ever heard was that employees were quitting and they didn’t have enough help. For what we paid for this place I was very disappointed and I wouldn’t even give it one star

The room was clean, but we had a problem with the hot water at the sink... no pressure. They had a plumber come to repair the plumbing. We're surprised it hadn't been reported by a previous guest. Even though outside temps were cool, the room was often damp and stuffy. We had to run the A/C or fan constantly. Unfortunately, it was too cold for the pool. The highlight here is the office staff and their coffee machine. Location is convenient. The elevator was broken at one point, which was inconvenient for those with mobility issues. Snooks is next door, which is convenient for grabbing a bite to eat or take out.

The staff was affected by this since we were on the third floor. We got fresh towels once then had to ask for some more after the weekend. Outdoor spaces were ok but some people used the beach at bayside for a toilet so on a couple of days it smelled like sewer. We would return to this place but would ask for a lower floor.

Unfortunately the furnishings were very uncomfortable... the sofa(bed) had a back that leaned forward instead of back so we couldn't sit on it. The king bed was extremely firm and hurt our bodies, and had lots of small queen size pillows of varying firmness so sleep was not restful. The bedding and towels were scratchy. If they had better furnishings this would be a five star and I would not hesitate to return.

Our room was very clean and appeared to have been updated within the past few years. We did have a minor issue getting the room cleaned daily, but that was on us since we happened to be in the room when housekeeping stopped by. They were able to get it cleaned on our fourth day, which we really appreciated.
