Our experience

Had a good time at D Andrea mare hotel.The food was amazing, the variety and choice was perfect. All the staff were accommodating and helpful. Leslie from the entertainment team was great, the others however didn’t really speak to us. We stayed in a double room sea view, and I do have to say it was a little unclean when we arrived and there was a crack in the wall where an infestation of ants came through! Besides that, the cleaners came every day and mopped the floor, replaced the towels and gave us bottled water each day. Overall, it was a good experience, would I stay again? Probably not.

The hotel, rooms and pool area were great. However, we felt the all inclusive amenities to be somewhat lacking. The food was fine not amazing but also something nice could be found. The drinks options were very poor. Both alcoholic and soft drinks. Juice was basically squash. Coffee machine was not great annd no other options. Only wine options were the on tap - white, red, rose no variety or sparkling even at the bar, except on gala dinner night where there was lovely sparkling.

The cocktails were pretty much terrible. I wasn’t expecting 5 star but these were poor quality.

We still enjoyed our stay and thought the staff, especially animation team were amazing. It’s a great place for families due to size and location of playground, pools and entertainment. The kids club could also use some improvements. As there was no checkin for the kids and felt they could easily wander away if they chose so we felt it necessary to stay close by. There were 2 hour sessions every morning and afternoon with generally the same arts activities. Our daughter enjoyed it but just didn’t give us what we were expecting.
Also there do not seem to be enough pool loungers for number of guests. So all are filled with towels by 8am even on the grass area away from the pool. A bit frustrating to have to make sure to send someone out every morning early to get a seat.

Fantastic, would definitely consider going back here when we next visit Rhodes. From start to finish we all felt a warm welcome from all the staff during our stay. A huge applause to the constant energy and enthusiam of the entertainment teams, restaurant and bar staff.

This resort had everything we needed and was top quality, our room was upgraded due to an issue with our original booking, without complication and we were so thankful. Some of the decor with the room we change to was a little dated, but thats me really trying hard to find fault in this stay.

We stayed with our 3 year old who had more than enough activities and variety to keep us all entertained. The mix of pools and play equipment was great and there was a even balance of families and adults which didnt make it too noisy or overcrowded, whilst still providing enough involvement in the evenings entertainment.

The quality of food was very good with a huge mix of different specials and cuisines on offer throughout the week. Having access to fresh food throughout the day via the snack bar was also welcome. Theres not a huge expectation when it comes to drinks in an all-inclusive, but the machine fed juices could have been better, although the bar staff were on hand all day for other beverages.

Theres also good connection via taxi or local buses to old town and local sights.

All together it was a brilliant stay and would highly recommend D'Andrea Mare Beach Hotel for anyone looking for a stay in Rhodes

Catering manager and staff were all so friendly and helpful. Loved the snack options when the main food area wasnt open and having a ice cream area … genius!

Only thing to be aware - on flight path - you get used to it but planes are very frequent.

We only had the best experience in the hotel. Very comfy and clean. Cleaning rooms and changing towels on everyday basis. Pools sparkling clean. Private beach not crowded. There is a minimarket where you can buy essentials. Receptionists very welcoming and kind, willing to help with everything you might need. Manager was very nice man, always around the guests with smile on his face and chatting. Waitresses and all round staff very polite. Food was great, variety of international cousine. We had late evening check-in so they prepared sendviches, fruit and water for us in room fridge. After check-out we still got all inclusive service all day as we had flight in the evening.
We had all what we have expected. There is only one downside: we wish we could stay longer. Thank you for having a great holiday!

It’s been the first time since Covid since I have been away with the family, The whole holiday from start to finish was excellent.

The Hotel, management/staff were brilliant and always willing to help, lots of variety when it came to food and all of good quality and quantity.

We stayed onsite mostly but there was plenty to do, swimming/sunbathing/volleyball/aqua aerobics more. What was also good about the hotel was that it backs onto a beach so if you got bored of the same routine you could literally walk 2-5mins and you’d be on the beach.

Taxis/Excursions can be booked at reception and all for reasonable prices depending on where you want to go.

Really pleased with the experience we had in Greece and would most likely book into the same hotel again in the future as it was perfect for myself and family.

Thanks to all the staff at D’Andrea Mare it was a pleasure staying at the hotel.

The staff is kind and helpful (pool bars, restaurant, reception). The animators are great! The pools are very good for all ages, especially the river pool. The family room is spacious but usually is not cleaned well, there are open closets, which is unusual and not very comfortable. We had a problem with our safe box twice and the water in the shower overflowed which caused us to slip a few times...the floors around the pools are slippery as well

We felt the location and private beachside location was very nice.
The staff was very accommodating especially, Mr Nikkos with IT and front desk clerks.

We would recommend the hotel. Food was very good a d variety of different items. Also there is a rental car agency on site which made additional travle options good. Mr. Michael (Trust car rental) rented us a vehicle for a day trip and gave good information for places to Visit. Trust rental also provided private pickup at the Rhodes ferry to our hotel. Very professional. We would stay there again.

Perfect all inclusive

Family stay for 5 nights. It's really a perfect family hotel, all inclusive we several pools and plenty of kids entertainment. Food is really nice, rooms are well maintained and cleaned daily. Hotel is very modern although situated in what seems to be a surrounding wasteland so not possible to go walking, but not really needed as the hotel has everything including a mini shop.
Reserving a sunbed is done so you need to get up early, beach is usually a bit quieter and the sea is really perfect for swimming in

Amazing hotel - very clean and beautiful, excellent location (walking distance to town, but far enough for a quiet stay) great food, so much so that we didn't feel that we needed to eat out even once. We were upgraded to sea view room on 4th floor, was excellent! Staff and entertainment team were absolutely wonderful - pleasant, polite, helpful and always smiling. We gave compliments to the chef which he was genuinely very grateful about. This was our second time in Rhodes, and so far this is the best hotel we've stayed at here. It is a family friendly hotel so there were quite a few kids, but you learn to ignore them. Otherwise, no faults, recommend 100%!

However the entertainment and noise was just awful. Everything was about children and you could not get away from it. You were forced to get involved in activities when you just wanted to relax and get some sun. You could not eat dinner without listening to Baby Shark or Crazy Frog. The entertainment team leader was one of the most annoying people I've ever met in my life! Instead of paying these clowns to work at the hotel, get entertainment in that have real talent. A band just one night even!

The food was also poor. All the meats were chewy and nothing was cooked fresh. Yet again the atmosphere was bad just due to the noise and screaming children running around.

Very remote and limited facilities. Glasses mostly looked dirty as were plastic and probably had been used for drinks all year without replacement. Only one restaurant where in other all inclusives we have stayed in we normally have a choice of at least 2 or 3. Had to leave the main building in wet weather to get to the restaurant which was not good. I would give this 2 stars at most. The best review I would give would be for the staff

Nice hotel, relaxed stay, food could be hotter, that would make a huge difference. Could do with drink station in snack bar area. Air con in October should be free if you feel you need it. Kids food area could be highlighted more and food served to kids lunchtime and dinner time. Spirits should be available earlier in day and not from 2pm. External area outside room 214 etc could be cleaned more regularly. Our room was not ready for the 3 of us on arrival at midnight, only a bed made up for 2, the chap at reception went out of his way to get bedding & pillows, Overall a few tweaks it could be improved. But we still had a lovely stay.

Given a room upgrade for free on check in, the sea view balcony’s are lovely! Really clean, all the staff are friendly and the entertainment team work really hard to give you a good holiday. Food could be better, it gets quite boring after a few days but I’ve had worse all inclusive food. Some of the cocktails are delicious, and some are horrible! But overall we had a really good week and would definately recommend here.

Wonderful holiday

Really nice holiday, the hotel was a bit busy, but which good hotel is not during peak season; most importantly we always found a spot in the shade, and always found a table to eat right away. This hotel is very family friendly, with nice kids swimming pools, my little one loved the kids disco.The staff was wonderful, always trying to accommodate and help everyone. I think the one area they can improve is the cocktails, but apart from that I would definitely return to this place.

Really nice hotel in good quiet location. All hotel staff were incredibly pleasant and helpful. Could not believe how hard they all worked. Food was very good and varied. Indoor pool and gym facilities were very good and outdoor pool excellent. Nice garden area between pool and beach where one could relax under palm trees. However, it was very difficult to relax anywhere outdoors due to the constant, intrusive and extremely loud music blaring out from speakers at the pool bar all day from 10 am. One could not escape this noise even down on the beach! This tended to take the gloss off what was otherwise a very enjoyable holiday. So for this reason only would I hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Fantastic Hotel & Staff Great Facilities

Fantastic hotel and grounds. The staff of the Hotel very excellent especially the Maitre D'Hotel Sokratis Spanos anything you wanted you just had to ask. Also special mention to the Entertainment team who were fabulous and their shows excellent. Georgiana and Myky made you feel welcome. Georgiana became a new friend and we looked forward to our talks with her around the pool. We had adults and children in our group and everyone enjoyed their stay. Having different types of swimming pools also was excellent. Going from the normal pool, to the lazy pool to the flume. We were also pleasantly surprised of the quality of the drink considering it was all inclusive. We have no complaints what so ever and in fact have recommended the Hotel already and booked to go back next year.

The food was lovely and plenty of choice for all eaters, in my opinion.

We have stayed in this hotel for a week as a couple and we really enjoyed it.However I would recommend it more for families.There are so many interesting entertainments for children.
The location is perfect 30sec walk to the beach and 10min by car from the airport.I would advise to buy a shoes for enjoying the sea,because this beach is not sandy,mainly rocks.
I have to add that the food was out of this world,very delicious and everyday different choices.Excellent!The cocktails were based on juices,and very little amount of alcohol,too sweet,didn't like it so much,but the selection of wines and the beer was amazing.Staff very friendly and polite,specially the bulgarian lady behind the pool bar and the lady at the reception.

All in all a really nice hotel. Clean, quiet, lovely setting - but the main issue which I hadn't read before is that the hotel is on the incoming plane flight path, which peaks in the evening.
Food was the main let down really - quality was fine but very little change in theme throughout the week for all meals. Some variation would make all the difference. We found ourselves eating out 3 nights of 7 to have a break from it.

Lovely hotel! Brilliant staff!

This is a really lovely hotel with some great facilities. What stood out for us was the brilliant customer service provided by the animation team and staff around the hotel. The restaurant manager (Sokratis) made a great effort to see how our holiday was going and was very approachable and happy to help. The food was to a high standard with a really good variety and the Greek night with live music and dancing was great. There are a variety of activities to keep you busy during the day such as Volleyball and stretching. The pool area was excellent for adults and children. We had a top floor room with extended balcony and sea view - this was a big plus for us! The only thing that I would improve is a double bed in the room rather than 2 beds pushed together and the entertainment in the evening (but I do understand that this was the last week of the season). Finally it would be even better if there were a few more options on the drinks menus. Overall a lovely hotel with lots of plus points. Fully recommend.

The room was cleaned only one time during all stay of six days. A lot of noise from landing aircrafts passing above the hotel. The room condition can be much better. Water was not going down in the bath.
The pool is excelent and fits children all ages.
The food was ok. Every evening was nice show in the hotel but music was very loud and children can't sleep well. Overall not recommended, so only 3 from 5.

The hotel is not very large, has its own part of the beach. Very very friendly staff, always was served with a big smile. It is a bit hard to enter the water because of pebbles, but very quickly you stand on fine sand. Beach is well kept, not crowded. There are really a lot of kids. They seem to love very loud evening entertainment, although everyone but us seem to enjoy it. NB for cat lovers: many wonderful cats and kittens. The food is very nice, although snacks between meals were just pizza and cookies. Good white wine, but red is a bit watery.

We has a wonderful stay at the hotel. The service and the food was great! I liked the Greek night with the music and food from the area. The view was AMAZING!! The resort is on a nice beach, the water of the ocean was a good temperature to swim in May (warmer than the pool). The room was clean and comfortable. The only thing was, that it was a bit noisy for in the room in early evening for our baby. We had a great patio with sea view, it was a wonderful vacation!

We had a fantastic 8 days at this hotel at the end of October,apart from the first day the weather was superb. From the moment we arrived the hotel staff made us feel at home and looked after us very well. The food was fantastic and the honest generosity of the Greek people make it special.

We only stayed one night because of a flight cancellation. Everything about the hotel was really good,appearance,service,pools,proximity to the beach and the buffet selection. We are itching to get back there.

Lovely hotel on the beac

Very pleasant staff - whether behind reception, cleaning, tending the bar or in the dining room they were all pleasant especially considering how near the end of the season it was when stayed.

Great value for money!

We stayed at this hotel for a week on a last week of September. As it's already end of the season the hotel wasn't busy, it wasn't a problem to find sunbed or a table at the restaurant. The staff was very friendly and proffesional. We were offered free upgrade and got a room with a seaview. Highly recommend this hotel.

Quiet hotel with a lovely pool

The hotel is lovely, the pool area is great and the staff are mostly really friendly. It's a good base from which to explore Rhodes and the all inclusive whilst a little restrictive in choice is good quality for both food and drinks.

Lovely family friendly hotel

We got back from a 2 week stay at this hotel on 28th August. We had a wonderful time, and I would recommend this Rhodes and this hotel without hesitation.
The rooms are clean and comfortable. The only reason I marked room comfort down a little is because the air conditioning could be more powerful.
The staff were all friendly and very helpful.
The food was fresh, beautifully cooked and presented, varied, and plentiful. The pool bar staff make a wonderful Tequila Sunrise!
The swimming pools are clean and well maintained (I noticed good water quality certificates dotted around the pool area). Our kids loved the lazy river, and the flume pool, while we loved the direct access to a beautiful beach. Yes it's pebbly, but a pair of beach shoes soon sorts that problem, and it's worth it to get into the warm, azure waters of the Aegean! The whole outside area of the hotel has been thoughtfully laid out, and looks lovely with a wealth of palm trees, and the little wooden bridges over the pools.
I'd recommend getting sunloungers that overlook the sea on the lawned area. You get a lovely breeze there to help cool you off, and the free show from the kite, and windsurfers is well worth watching.
If you get out and about, I'd recommend the butterfly valley, a trip into Rhodes old town, Kalithea is lovely especially at night! And if you hire a car for a day or two, Lindos and Seven springs are lovely.

Nice hotel but too close to airport

Room very spacious and well equipped.
Need to wake-up at 6:45AM to get a long chair near the swimming pool, clearly not enough chairs available.
Food could be improved in terms of quality and especially variety. Moreover, not enough fish variety is served and no grilled meat or fish on spot.
Otherwise the hotel looks like brand new.
Several (5 or 6 per hour depending on the days) planes just passing on top of the hotel. It is true that after two days we got use to it.

Nice holiday

Transfer time from airport less than 15 minutes Room with a sea view as promised. The room smelled stale and moldy, which was the biggest disappointment. There were also some ants. Air conditioning worked well and there was no problem with warm water.
Food - there was good range of different options. Unfortunately there was always something missing, which they did fill up after a short waiting.
Nice pools, but not enough relax loungers for everyone! The kids really enjoyed the slide and lazy river. Very nice stony beach.
Planes flying over the hotel, but those did not disturb us.
The Wifi was poor.
Staff were always very polite and helpful.

Some of the entertainment eh karaoke needs to be canned or moved to a soundproof room as it disturbs the entire sea view side

Lovely hotel, brilliant staff

The hotel itself is wonderful and the views from our room were stunning. We had a few issues with our door but was dealt with efficiently. The hotel is right on the beach. The beach is very stoney, but still lovely to walk across.
Unfortunately we had to wake up really early to get a sunbed for the day.
The animation team are beyond amazing, they made us feel at ease, involved us in conversation and activities.
The food is good but can get very repetitive, this is to be expected from all inclusive, so didn't bother us too much.
There is a shop on site, which we were not informed about until we asked where the local shop was.
Overall, we had a great stay in a great hotel.

Wonderful resort that we'd come back to...

Read through the reviews and had mixed feelings about this hotel. Disadvantages: Not all that close to town, but a short walk to the main road and a bus will bring you right in. From the main road to the resort, the area is somewhat run-down, but we never felt unsafe. Advantages: Once we stepped in the front doors, we felt like this was a brand new resort. Lobby is beautiful, with lots of sitting areas. Our oceanview/poolview room was very clean, and spacious, with a nice balcony overlooking the gorgeous pool area and the ocean beyond that. Friends of ours opted for a non ocean-view room, which looked a bit more worn, with an older tube-style t.v. So from what we saw, we'd recommend oceanview. Buffet was surprisingly good, with lots of fresh options, and themes each day to change things up. There were no other real restaurants onsite though which may pose problems for some. Overall, I'd recommend this resort. Very impressed.

Tolle Lage direkt am Strand. Gutes Essen mit viel Auswahl. Animation top! Jeden Abend eine andere Show o.ä.
Nicht zu voll aber auch nicht zu leer, das es langweilig ist und trotz paar Kinder sehr angenehm! Gehe sonst eher in Robinson Club oder Magic Life und hatte Sorge, dass das Hotel nicht mithalten kann… dem war aber fast nicht so! Echt super für den Preis!

Ich kann es wirklich jedem Empfehlen!

Trevligt och bekvämt hotell

Trevligt och bekvämt hotell, rent och fint. Maten helt ok, ingen större variation, men ung som man kan förvänta sig av ett fyrstjärnigt hotell med all inclusive.

Gymmet och övriga gemensamma utrymmen bättre än de flesta jämförbara hotell. Trevlig personal!

Enda minuset är att läget nära flygplatsen medför en hel del flygbuller, men man vänjer sig efter några dagar.

Kokonaisuutena positiivinen kokemus. Mukavan pieni hotelli verrattuna joihinkin resortteihin. Henkilökunta ystävällistä. Erityismaininta pool barin henkilökunnalle.

Meillä oli sviitti, joka oli kivasti sisustettu ja pinnoilta moderni ja puhdas. Toki sängyn alla oli aika reilusti pölyä eli tarkempi siivous olisi ajoittain paikallaan. Joko meillä oli hiljaiset naapurit tai sitten äänieristys normaalia parempi. Todella hyvät sängyt!

Allasalueen vessat kuluneet ja ei niin siistit. Allasalue muuten viihtyisä ja puhdas. Hyvät aurinkotuolit!

All inclusive ruoka ihan ok, mutta ei mitään super hyvää. Eipähän tullut syötyä ihan liikaa. Mehut ja limpparit laadukkaampia kuin muissa käymissämme 4 tähden Kreikan hotelleissa. Viinit samaa litkua kuin muissakin. Pool barin drinkit sen sijaan todella hyviä ja mukavan laaja lista!

Leikkipaikka ja Kid's club vähän kulahtaneet ja pienet. Mutta kyllä niissäkin lapset viihtyi ihan ok.

Beach volley -kentän hiekka harmillisen kovaa. Hiekan vaihdolla siitä saisi helposti toimivamman.

Hotelli menee ehdottomasti "Saatamme tulla uudelleen" -listalle!

Godt hotel til børnefamilier

Meget venlig og høflig personale. Hotellet er ikke nyt, men de passer godt på den og renligheden var god.
Receptionen og mini Market personale var meget høflige og dygtige med hjælp og info.
