Spacious rooms. Walking distance from ski lift and hotel offers you also free storage for ski equipment right at the lift. 3 mins from most town restaurants. Staff was amazing and very helpful. Will stay again.

Definately a great stay!

All of the staffnat this hotel are wonderful. The 2 gentlemen who work reception, the 3 ladies who clean the rooms and the breakfast servers. They were all wonderful. Location is a 7 min walk from the 2 main gondola lifts. Hotel has its own parking garage (cost per night) and a secure equipment room. My son enjoyed the sauna and pool. The breakfasts were the best we have had over the last 2 weeks in Europe. No fridge in the room but we just put our stuff out on the balcony. (Dec) We also found the rooms warm but slept with the windows cracked open and enjoyed the fresh mountain air.

Room was clean, bedsheets comfortable, the hotel provided clean bathroabs and slippers. Bathroom was clean and large. The breakfast was nice and well appreciated. Unfortunately I only stayed one night, but I wouldn't hesitate to stay several days!

Two main issues:
1. Don't expect to be able to relax and enjoy the spa/sauna room. Full of loud British tourists.
2. The breakfast room is more like a hospital ward of serious respiratory disease than anything else. Most people are very sick and coughing all over the place, some seem on the verge of needing a respirator.

Surrounded by mountain views and similar properties area of Banyan hotel is exactly what I've expected of mountain holiday to be. It is a typical resort to take a rest, relax and enjoy nature.
Inside is quite simple, clean and modern.
Staff is always there, doing great job and keeping high standards of service.
Amazing place, very good location and reasonable price.

Our stay was fine, nothing special. Hotel was clean but lacked alpine atmosphere. Each night a loud group took over the “bar” area (6 chairs) so there was no place for a nightcap. Would stay elsewhere next year.

We stayed for 8 nights at this hotel. The staff was so friendly and went above and beyond to answer our questions, get us information, and make sure we were enjoying ourselves. The hotel manager was so friendly and chatted with us one night at the bar for a bit which was very enjoyable. The nighttime desk/bar attendant was awesome. We sat at the bar for longer than we intended to one night just to talk and laugh with him. All the staff was just fantastic.

Overall the Banyan is a good hotel, but with some issues.

Pros:
— Centrally located in Sankt Anton downtown
— A good and rich breakfast
— The staff was helpful

Cons:
— Small rooms. There is actually no place to put a suitcase and open it.

We arrived in the rain and were greeted by a friendly man - manager I think. He directed us to the underground car park where we could unload the car after checking in. There’s a lift to the floors so no lugging suitcases up stairs!
Rooms were clean and comfortable and beds good. Hairdryer provided and shower gel. Shower over the bath. Breakfast was buffet style with eggs and bacon available in dishes and the usual continental breakfasts. We got advice on places to eat in the evening, and had a good meal close by. The key card reader on our door was broken so we were quickly moved to another room.
Everything went smoothly and we enjoyed our one night stay.
It was walking distance to the shops and there’s a Spar a short walk away.

We arrived very late in lashing rain and had not had dinner. Obviously there was nothing open at 22.30, but we were offered a couple of pizzas and a couple of drinks which went down very well. Great when you think you have to go to bed hungry.
St Anton is a beautiful spot. We were there in the summer - I can only imagine how romantic it must be covered in snow.
The rooms were very clean and contemporary.
For breakfast we could have whatever we wanted - although after the late pizza we didn't eat too much.

Perfect for an elegant mountain escape

A small but well maintained and highly recommended hotel. Super nice owners and staff. Great breakfast and cool bar. There is a daily housekeeping and you get so many towels, plus a rope and sleepers. Quiet location as it's second row to the main street. Nice balcony, though no mini fridge in the room.

Had in all a reasonable time at this hotel.

The hotel has set itself up as a boutique establishment but misses in certain areas. Room was well equipped but double bed consisted of two mattresses, which were too large for the two bases. They were also incredibly hard. Effectively, paid for a double and slept in a single.

The bathroom was large and stylish yet once again had issues. There was only a shower and no bath, and the shower was a handheld attachment, only one shower gel option ...

The bedroom was large with good storage. TV had loads of English speaking channels and had a nice balcony. Negative was there was no fridge or minibar. The curtains did not have any under drapes, and as hotel is overlooked by an apartment block, you couldn't leave curtains open, when in the room, which was annoying. There were also no tea or coffee facilities and the safe in my room did not work

The room was spotless, however the maid did not turn up one day, and when queried, didn't really get an answer. However, they did offer towels etc but I wanted room cleaned, beds made. Particularly, for the price paid

Breakfast was great with an excellent selection but should be included in the price as standard

Pool was good but sauna was not on when I visited.

On balance, I think the hotel needs to up it's offering to justify the price being charged. Instead of aiming to be a boutique hotel, I think they need to get the basics right

Good Hotel, Good Location, approx 650m from lift and nightlife, so at the right end of town. Good local austrain restaurant opposite, and 50 meters from SPAR supermarket for supplies and free equipment and boot storage next to main lift was a real bonus. Had a twin room with 2 blokes and was ample.

Very nice place to be. Rooms are super clear, new. In reality looks much better then shown in the pictures.
Food was amazing. Sauna & pool are in great working order.
Hotel staff is very welcoming and helpful. Check-in and checkout were smooth. You can get your ski pass at front desk. Hotel provides vouchers to store your ski equipment at the storage center next to all lifts.
Walkable distance to all destinations - restaurants, shops, ski lifts and train station

Rude hotel Manager and not client oriented

The hotel manager was unprofessional, he did not have a good manner at all ,
He gave us one room with the price of 450 eur exc tax and the other one which was exactly the same with 537 euros per night, further to that despite the fact that he had sold the last 2 rooms of the hotel in these ridiculous prices for this hotel, he wanted to charge us for breakfast of 50 euros per room per day! When we said that was excessive by all means, he said he would have sold the rooms 3-5 times anyway at tha the prices because this is St Anton!
At the departure at check out he also wanted to charge us for 17 euros parking a night on top which he just informed us upon printing the receipt.
I am not recommending this establishment to anyone , they are just opportunistic greedy both the manager owner and the receptionist,
The only guy who was very polite and welcoming was the night shift guy, the others should take an example of him.
To cut a long story short this hotel is hugely overpriced and the maximum you should pay for this kind of hotel is in the range of 200

took me a little while to find out but then I was looking at the pretty houses and not really paying attention. It is tucked away behind another hotel. It was very comfortable, the staff super friendly and helpful, great location but most of these hotels are unless you are on the hill and this hotel was not on the hill. Bonus is the pool and spa with sauna, which is very welcome after a day out in the cold.

Great modern hotel in a very convenient location in the centre of St Anton. Very friendly and helpful staff, allowed us the make the most of our long weekend there. 1 room made available earlier than check in time to get changed in, purchased lift passes there and a free locker pass for Alber Ski rental right at the bottom of the Galzig lift - so convenient!
Rooms very comfortable and clean. Not additional extras in the room, but we're were there to ski not order room service and watch videos. Been before and will be back again.

Excellent stay in St Anton

It is hard to fault the Banyan as a base for a couple's ski trip to St Anton. The location is great, about a five minute stroll up to the Galzig lift but far enough from the bars to be quiet at night.

The room was stylish and relaxing, with an excellent bathroom. The only possible quibbles are the temperature (hot even with the radiator turned off, so we often opened the window for a few minutes before going to bed) and the fact that our bed was two singles pushed together (so had a gap down the middle).

The spa is lovely and was never too busy.

Excellent breakfast and very helpful, friendly service from Todor on the front desk.

All in all a great stay.

This is a great mid sized hotel - in resort less than 5 minute walk to centre. Hotel was very clean rooms are a good size and have modern bathrooms. The staff are both friendly and helpful, boot room is excellent in the underground garage (which offers guest parking). Breakfast is plentyful and has a good selection of hot and cold. I would definitely recommend and will visit again.

We had a wonderful experience at Banyan Hotel. We had a few small issues with the room but all due to the fact that the hotel had just opened for the season. Good location but vastly overpriced.

We have just come back from a weekend in St Anton and we stayed at the Banyan. It looked ok from the website and it is relatively new and clean. The facilities are average at best and it is certainly not worth EUR 330 per night. It is more like a Premier Inn than somewhere warranting that sort if price tag. There are also plenty of other places in St Anton that will present better value. I expected a great deal of this place and unfortunately it did not deliver. The skiing and the après ski in St Anton were great though. Just stay somewhere else.

It was a nice hotel, but would not come back because you have the empolyee smoking area at the entrance of the hotel so the hotel lobby smells like smoke. Because we are not smokers it is very irritating and gives a very bad impression. Please move your smoking area far away from the intrance of your hotel.

Quelques jours pour s évader avec le confort adéquate pour passer un très bon moment dans les montagnes Autrichiennes. Les oreillers sont un peu trop mou, une bouilloire serait un plus (nous apprécions prendre une tisane après notre grande journée) la piscine est le spa sont vraiment appréciés en fin de journée mais le complexe pourrait être ouvert toute la journée. Seul petit point autour de la piscine nous avons trouvé des pansements. Et le petit plus quelques fruits secs dans la salle de repos serait vraiment top. Ce ne sont que des détails car l hôtel est vraiment bien situé, une belle vue et le petit déjeuner est formidable. Nous reviendrons.

Äußerst angenehmer Aufenthalt

Wir waren unter den ersten Gästen der Wintersaison und wurden \"auf Händen getragen\". Zimmer war sehr angenehm und ruhig, die Betten neu und bequem, alles sehr sauber. Frühstück mit viel Service und herzlicher Zuwendung.

Das Hotel ist sauber und ordentlich, Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Ein super Frühstücks Angebot und der Pool sowie Sauna sind auch toll.
Die Parkgebühr ist jedoch sehr teuer mit 10€ pro Nacht

Super Hotel, zu fairem Preis. Frühstück mit riesiger Auswahl. Sauna und Dampfbad toll, Schwimmbecken recht klein und nicht tief, man kann aber trotzdem ein paar Bahnen schwimmen. Sehr freundliche Service-Mitarbeiter:innen. Nahe am Dorfzentrum und guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Im Sommer gibt es in St. Anton einen großen kostenlosen Parkplatz in der Nähe, ein Supermarkt ist direkt vor der Tür.
