Definitely has everything you need, except the Boardwalk. Many restaurants to choose from, and Starbucks on the premises. I'm not a gambler, but was there for a show. The room was quiet and comfortable. I know folks don't go there to watch TV, but after dinner and a show I wanted to whine down with a little TV, and I realized local stations or even news or sports stations didn't exist. I understand, people are there to gamble, but it was still a tad bit disappointing. All in all, it's a very nice hotel. I did have a problem with the toilet and after contacting housekeeping, on the MGM app, they were there in about 5 minutes and quickly fixed the problem; super happy about that.

Hidden costs, poorly ran, lots of vacant rooms but they put the very few guests right next to each other, and the floors smell like weed. Check in had two people working, other customers complaining about it being understaffed. Nothing special about this place at all. Food in the restaurants was overpriced trash.

My wife and I booked 3 nights for our honeymoon. We flew into Atlantic City from Florida. What we didn't anticipate was the worst blizzard in 10 years on the Jersey Shore. After 3 awesome days of gambling, eating, and drinking at the Borgata, we were snowed in. We had to add 4 days until the next flight was available back home. Not only was the front desk very cordial, the gave me 4 additional nights at extremely low rate. The gambling options tremendous. The amount of restaurants and bars available were fantastic. Room service options. Indoor pool and spa in the dead of winter. Security and cleanliness were top notch. Be aware that if you book during the middle of the week, some dining options may be limited. Table limits are high, but they have automated versions that are much more affordable. Free drinks while playing cards or slots. The slots were pleasantly friendly as well as not afraid to give bonus rounds. Overall, my wife and I cannot wait to get back. Truly a 5 star casino resort.

There was a small issue with the bathroom drainage being clogged when we took a shower the next day after we checked in. However, once we informed the front desk, the maintenance team came right away and fixed it promptly. I really appreciated how quickly and professionally they handled the situation.
Despite the minor inconvenience, the excellent service and the comfort of the room made our stay very enjoyable. I would definitely consider staying here again.

We have stayed at the Borgata before but this time we had a very bad experience. We checked in for two rooms. After waiting 20 mins for an elevator, we got upstairs and one of the rooms key wouldn’t work. Back down to the desk. Back up to the room. 40 mins later, even the new key won’t work. Luckily we had another room so we could put our things down and call back down to the desk. Turns out the battery in the door was dead. Instead of giving us a new room, they made us wait almost an hour for a locksmith. FOR A ROOM WE HAVE NEVER EVEN ENTERED. Refused to give us as a new room. When the locksmith came and we finally got it, we basically had to run for our dinner reservation.
