The place was recently remodeled, very cute and cozy with soaking tub and fireplace (beachcomber room). Location was on the main strip walkable to the beach, shops, and food. Staff was super friendly. No breakfast included but a lot of great cafes and restaurants (hit up Yolk). Parking onsite. Would definitely stay there again.

It was a clean room in a good location in Manzanita. I am guessing their other rooms are probably nicer, so would like to stay in one of them some time, but we were in an adjacent building and not in the main part of the Inn. We got it because it was relatively cheap and we were booking last minute. The room was pretty basic (bed, one chair, microwave, fridge, nice TV). It did have a jacuzzi tub, so that was its one \"frill\".

Would I stay again? I would look around, but if nothing looked better I would stay there. Oregon Coast is expensive, so you kinda get what you pay for.

Unfortunately I can’t recommend staying here. I paid $534 for two nights and am shocked with what I got for that cost. Our room was dirty—salt covering the ledge where the microwave was that we had to clean up, spider/cobwebs all over the beams and bathroom ceiling, and the floors were filthy and gritty (see pic of just one swipe of the floor). It’s old and in dire need of a complete renovation and I feel we were charged a price as if one has already been done. The bathroom fan is loud and creates a smell of smoke, and the place is very loud where you can hear anyone in the hall or above you (including a dog that barked each morning). Craig the maintenance guy is very nice and we appreciated him turning off the gas fireplace that was going when we got in, but other than that and the location, we wish we had found somewhere else for the two nights. The property said they credited me $100 back for the situation, but honestly this isn’t enough given the price and just how run down the property currently is so it still wasn’t worth the price to stay here.

The property was undergoing some remodeling construction, so the front desk was actually located across the street. No big deal, but a little distracting. Our room was quite cozy. Window blinds were broken so we had to get staff to fix that. They did in a timely way, which was great. Overall I would probably stay there again because I love Manzanita so much, but it’s not worth the cost. Hotel prices along the OR coast are all over-priced.

We always enjoy staying at the Inn at Manzanita, and have stayed in several different rooms. It’s comfortable, friendly, and incredibly convenient. It’s an older hotel with character and it’s a little bit scruffy, but the small upgrades already done by Adrift look very promising.

This is a very friendly hotel! The staff was great. Location is in the middle of everything! The tv/ entertainment system is older and hard to operate. Couldn’t find the guide. If it gets off the hdmi-1 location your dead.
Seemed like someone in room south of the Beachcomber was doing construction till around 10:45 pm. We have stayed in the building on the SE corner of the property and it was fabulous, thought this stay was going to be the same.
Over all, a good stay. Price was reasonable.

I decided to bring the pup last minute and they were very accommodating. They even put a little basket together for him with extra blankets to sleep on, a towel for the beach and a bowl for his water. Just about everything in manzanita is on the same street and just a few minutes walk to the beach, coffee, or food

We've always enjoyed the Inn at Manzanita as we did these past few days, however, it is time for some maintenance.Replacement of some windows, lighting the in front of the inn, and general repair to keep up with the cost of the room. Everything worked, which was good but it is just showing its age. I was clean though - so important!!

My first time here and i will definitely be back. Be aware that it is not ADA accessible and depending where you are there may be stairs. Wifi is not reliable and therefore the cable/tv access is affected but there is a DVD player!

Disappointing old hotel, in need of major repairs.

Our family lives the Oregon Coast where we have visited many times in the past. Nothing can detract from the natural beauty of this beautiful area. However, we were very disappointed with the accommodation. The buildings are very tired and run down, in need of external repairs and internal maintenance. The room was cramped and dirty. The old Venetian blinds were covered in thick dust. They didn’t look like they had been cleaned all year. The carpets and furniture are very worn and stained.

We’re very fond of this place and have stayed several times because of the great location and - I have to say - its quirky character. It’s definitely a bit down at heel and is in need of a good cash infusion to update and do some basic improvements. We have never found our rooms to be dirty and the mattresses and linens are good. Just be careful of the rooms (Whale Watcher is one) with “sleeping nooks” unless you’re fine crawling in and out over your partner. Awkward.

The unit we were in was clean, fairly quiet and nicely located near the beach and shops. It was really showing wear and tear: none of the blinds could be raised, though at least you could open and close them. Some windows did not have screens, but you had to have them open due to heat buildup during the days. The west windows were very dirty (perhaps due to blown seals) and the windowsills were in need of refinishing. The shower appeared to be pretty old, and though it was a good shower functionally, it was dingy, with chipped paint and faded wallpaper border. The shower curtain did not reach the shower sill. For the price you could stay in a nice Best Western in Seaside. Everything was convenient, clean and comfortable, just worn out. Needs a cosmetic refresh.

The property is in the center of town, very walk-able to shops and the beach. The facilities are very dated, electrical does need to be updated, I blew the circuit twice by using the potato button on the microwave. The sliding glass door sticks and you have to use brute force to open it. No AC so this was our only option for ventilation in 85 degree weather. I love that it is dog friendly. It is not handicap accessible.

It was an easy check-in and perfect location and I just loved everything about this place. It has a great little kitchen with a refrigerator and then the bed that was tucked into the wall was adorable. Super comfortable. The huge Jacuzzi tub was unused by me, unfortunately, but I will be bringing my husband back next time who will definitely use that. It was a perfect stay for a small family. I did not pull out the sofa bed so I am not sure if it is comfortable or not. But there is plenty of room to do so as it’s almost like a small apartment. We will definitely book here again and I’m glad that we booked months in advance because it definitely gets sold out .

A well designed, true Oregon Coast jewel. Funky. Innovative room layout in our room (whale watcher), two blocks to the beach, walkable to shops and restaurants.
Work on: blind pulls didn’t work. Confusing TV instructions (we decided it was getter to read books, do crosswords, and play cribbage anyway).

It was quite rainy during our stay so we were especially happy to have such a nice room with jacuzzi and gas fireplace. There is only one other room in the building. It was very quiet, which we appreciated. Nicely decorated. Knotty pine ceiling. Electric kettle, plates, bowls, cutlery, toaster, microwave, and tiny sponge and dishwashing liquid for washing dishes. Bed was very comfortable. All very cozy.

We had a nice view of the ocean. Next time we will select a room with a regular bed layout. Our room had a Captain’s bed surrounded by three walls. The inside person has to crawl over the other person to get out of bed at night. The room was nice anyway.

I love Manzanita. We were disappointed with the room. It was very different from the photo online, much smaller. The outlet that service the YV and DVD player only had one working plug, so we could not use the fireplace while watching a movie. The chairs were wobbly. The heater was noisy. We could hear the hot tub above us while being used and while draining. The reforestation was noisy. The linens and bathroom were clean, but the rest of the experience was not great.

Our unit appeared to have updated bathroom, and window coverings worked. Window covering were problem in previous stays in other units, so not sure if upgrade everywhere or just our unit. Ventilation at night was minor issue because it's ground level and windows had to be nearly closed or completely closed for security. TV was modestly sized but good picture, and easy two switch between the DVD player and cable.

I had higher expectations for this property, not knowing the area, than was delivered. This property seems to have units that are a little more tucked away, so I suggest calling the property to make your reservations so that you know which ones are more secluded and not on the street side, especially if you are looking for a more romantic experience. Three of the rooms, ours included, that have the fireplace and spa tub for two experience, are on the street side...the main street of the town. We had the taqueria across the street serenading us with their outdoor speaker till 10:15 at night all three nights. The bed was very old and creaky in the Manzanita room and we even tried to flip the mattress since it was pillow top on both sides. I would say mattress is at least 10 years old. We even added our own fluffy mattress pad since most hotel mattresses are firm, but it really didn't help much. The pillow top is just too worn down. The coffee pot wasn't cleaned out and still had some grounds and liquid in the bottom. The ceiling fan was so thick with dust on every blade that I would say it had been at least 6 months to a year since it was cleaned. Overall, it just needs to be overhauled and spruced like paint, caulking, wood refinishing. This is all well and good for an average stay, right on the main drag, with a 2 minute or so walk down to the beach access. But, it's not really romantic and the bed, I have to reiterate, must be replaced!

Our refrigerator hadn't been cleaned in a long time. crumbs, old food etc. Gross. It just made me think everything else had be cleaned badly. Also the bars on the fridge door were all broken so we couldn't use. The decor was stained and tired. Watermarks on wood trim etc. Honestly if they gave the place a lick of paint and a good scrub it would help. I asked for an iron and they didn't have any. Bed was plush and somewhat comfortable. A little soft. Sofa bed was ok. Location was great. cupboards were stinky... they need a good disinfect.

While there were some nice features such as the woodwork, this was a disappointing stay. It was a huge splurge for me at nearly $500 for two nights. The bathroom, including the toilet, was dirty. The sheets were stained. There was sand all over the table. Staff are only available to check you in from 4-5. You can hear every sound through the walls, ceiling. The mattress was old and uncomfortable. Someone did change the stained sheets for me, but overall this was not a good experience and not worth the cost.
