The room was a nice size. The bed was very comfortable.There was a quaint balcony to enjoy morning coffee. There was a jacuzzi tub in the room. Unfortunately, did not have time to enjoy it. We were located close to Wayfarer Restaurant. Had breakfast there. So good. Very walkable to the beach. One half mile to the downtown area. Lots of coffee shops, restaurants and shopping. Highly recommended this lodging if staying in Cannon Beach.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Hearthstone! It’s in the perfect spot in Cannon Beach. Very short walk to the sand, the shops, and a very short commute to Ecola and other cool places to visit. I will for sure choose The Cannon Beach Hotel Collection when I’m blessed to return to this beautiful town.

Wonderful pet friendly option in Cannon Beach! We loved our stay in one of the McBee Cottages! Our pupper was spoiled as soon as we arrived with a thoughtful basket full of towels, sheet to cover bed from pet hair, a toy, food bowls, poo bags, and treats! The location was perfect, being only a block from the beach and an easy walk into the main part of town. We also enjoyed using the hammocks in the shared garden area. The team was super accommodating with any needs or questions that we had and would definitely stay again! Also got to enjoy a surprise drop in from the local elk passing through the garden one evening!

Our cottage had a comfortable bed and pull out sofa. Gas fire was great. Able to walk everywhere, very convenient. The bath and kitchen were run down and in need of a deep scrub/upgrade so I felt it was over priced.

There is an attached bar/lounge next, plenty of coffee shops and other places to eat, and very close to the beach. We really appreciated that there were two electric car chargers available in the parking lot— that made our travels so much easier.

WiFi was terrible and TV remote was slower than molasses. Never could watch other apps due to slowness of trying to connect.

Toilet is very low to the ground and close to the wall.

beach block and such a beautiful beach steps away!

the cottage was very cute. our only negative feedback is about the pull out couch. it was pretty bad. a cheap couch with a very thin mattress. i don’t see how two people would be comfortable in it. our daughter ended up putting the sheets on the couch without pulling it out the 2nd night.

otherwise the visit was perfect.

We had a great stay! The customer service was amazing from start to finish. We did have one small issue with our room, but the staff fixed it right away and continued checking in with us throughout the weekend to make sure everything was perfect. The location was great, the staff was incredibly kind and attentive, and overall it made for such an enjoyable trip. Would definitely stay again!

The McBee Cottages were super cute. There’s a nice little courtyard with a fire pit, hammocks, and a place for your pup to go to the bathroom. The cottage itself was clean, no sand on the floors at all, and had everything we needed such as a microwave, stovetop/oven, and mini fridge, etc. The beach was also super close, as well as some shops and restaurants. We loved our time here and definitely plan to come back.

Property was a little difficult to find, but staff was very helpful. Room was lovely, but we recommend bringing your own pillows. The ones on the bed looked good, but were not comfortable for sleeping. They were huge and overstuffed. There were no other options—not even tucked away in the closet.There was a cute little staircase down to the beach. The fireplace made the room extra cozy. Overall, we would stay there again, and recommend this property.

We stayed in the Courtyard property. Looked like it had been hurried up to get it ready - after a long winters nap.
The only good thing I can say about the room were the beds - they slept well. Otherwise, there was no attention to detail and many places appeared to not have been dusted or cleaned well. For this property, don't believe the pictures. It is quite a small room with no room for luggage. An outdoor patio had chairs we would not sit in due to the filth of winter. Never the Courtyard again,

The Cannon Beach Hotel was built in. 1914, and retains its historic charm. The staff is extremely gracious and helpful, Maya made our stay feel more like we were having a home visit.
We stayed in the Premium Queen room and it was lovely. Just an FYI, the room does not have a refrigerator or microwave so make appropriate plans.
The walk to the beach and Haystack Rock is about 10 minutes. Make sure to watch a sunset.
The Alchemy Lounge is inside the same building and offers an expansive list of liquors. They have good food options to enjoy with drinks.

We originally made a reservation for Friday night, paid in full. A day or two latr, we received an invitation to extend our stay to Saturday night at a special rate. After the third such email, we talked it over, and accepted, then made extra plans for the weekend. We also took out travel insurance just in case.

The day of our first night, we got a notice that our \"request\" for the extra night would not be honored. I called three times during their stated office hours once to the listed emergency number, asking what the heck was going on. No one was there, left three voicemails asking for help. No one called back.

With check in only four hours away, we finally found another hotel for both nights, and booked that. I tried to use the trip insurance but was told it had expired at midnight the previous night, so no refund was possible.

So we are out $200, and to add insult to injury we FINALLY heard from the hotel this morning saying essentially that this was our fault, no refund. This was a popular weekend in Cannon Beach, and i suspect the hotel was hoping to sell our room twice.

Not the way to do business with us, certainly.

We stayed at McBee Cottages for only one night. I would have liked to stay longer. It was a good size.The decor was very cute and cottage-y, with beadboard walls and a cozy fireplace. There is one wall with all the kitchen amenities so you could plan to cook some meals. Everything was clean and comfortable. We only realized later how close we were to the beach. It was just a short block to walk there, and Haystack Rock was right there. It was low tide and there were volunteer naturalists there to tell us all about the tide pools.

This is such an amazing place to stay on a budget! It has a full kitchen, a spacious bathroom a gas fireplace and enough room for a family of four! I love the hammocks outside and the cozy fire pit too! The courtyard is super pretty and even has a grill that you can use! It’s a quick walk to the ocean too! Did I mention the staff? Because they are all lovely and so friendly, the really made us feel at home 😆 thanks Cannon Beach Hotel collection for a wonderful Spring Break!

I books a room at the hearthstone and when i got there I had a hard time finding and realiseing to check in at the hotel collections building rather than an office at the hearthstone building. I called multiple numbers and no one answered( seemed to be a busy day though). I figured it iut got everything and went to my room only to find i r was not the same rooma s the picture. And the Wifi wouldnt connect. So, i go back to the check in building and grab all my things in hopes to get the cabin feel room i had origanally booked. Receptionist informed me that they hadnt taken pictures for the new rooms yet and my room was actually booked. So i got a free upgrade to a better room! It took a moment for my mind to shift from what i expected and then i realised i got a king bed and a timed fireplaces at a diffeeent hotel closer to the beach within their collection. I was very pleased , still got the fire logs that were included in my orginal stay, but me and the recptionist forgot to give it to me. So I went to my room, set everything down and had to go beack to check in again. She triped to make it up to me by offering wine , speciallty popcorn, or bath salts. I politely declined and had an amazing rest of my stay. There was no toster in my room despite ebing told otherwise, and a robe had other peoples hair stuck to it from the wash ( aside from that everything was very very clean). Amazing location as well. Overall 9 out of 10 expierence.

The toilet kept running, we had to lift the lid and reset it every time we flushed. The shower was so small, when you were in it, every time you turned, the shower curtain stuck to you. And what's with polyester sheets? Please get 100% cotton sheets for the price guests pay for this room. Overall great experience! Very cute and dog friendly! Staff were readily available and very helpful when we needed additional dog blankets and chairs for the beach. Only complaint was the pull out couch bed was very uncomfortable and the shower was very small. But overall- wonderful experience and plan on coming back in the future!

We enjoyed our time here in Cannon Beach. The property was in a perfect location withing walking distance o town,, the beach, the restaurants. It was a nice quiet place of the beaten path. We even had a heard of Elk walk past our door two times.
The room was comfortable and clean, However some attention to detail like floor trip has been neglected.
It had a nice small kitchenette, but the kitchen accessories were lacking. There was not a blow dryer. We had to keep asking for coffee. It seemed that there should have been an ample amount in the room instead of having to ask and only getting 4 cups worth at a time.

I very much enjoyed my one-night stay at the Cannon Beach Hotel. The hotel is charming and peaceful. The check-in was very quick and easy. I stayed in a Classic Queen room. The room was clean and cozy. The bed was comfortable. My one slight complaint is with the shower. I found it a bit cramped, and the shower faucet was a little challenging to figure out. With that being said, I thought that my room at the Cannon Beach Hotel was a good value, and I would consider staying here again.

This is a cute and compact hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. The room locks even use actual keys!

They also offer two EV car chargers (1 NACS, 1 J1772, both level 2).

All the rooms are on the second floor, accessible via stairs only. The rooms are basic and small, and offer all the amenities needed for starting the night. The WiFi is strong and free, the room TV’s are Roku TCL’s, and be sure to ask for extra towels when you check in.

There are several coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance, as well as a whisky bar attached to the hotel that offers food and drink.

This hotel was really cute and the amenities were nice. Loved the fireplaces in the room and in the courtyard.
The one negative thing was the cleanliness of the room. There were hairs all over the bedding, towels and floor. I’m sure if we had spoke up, they would’ve changed us rooms but we enjoyed our stay overall.

My sister and I loved the cottage so much! Check-in was easy! The McBee Cottages were just down the street from the check in spot! We stayed in#37 on the corner, it was so cute, we loved the layout and the bed was comfortable. The fireplace is the heat source, which we found out when adjusting the thermostat. We are only sad that our stay was one night and look forward to staying longer next time!

Everything was fine, and I appreciated the water faucet for the sink because it is the type that flows like a waterfall. The hot tub worked well, but you could hear our neighbors tub about the time we were going to bed, so the walls may be a touch thin. No view of the beach, but there was a generous balcony window looking out onto the courtyard, which was better than a parking lot.
