Let’s just say the pictures on the website are deceiving. The handicap spots are literally right smack in front of the front doors, so it was fun squeezing suitcases through the cars not to scratch them. The woman that helped us was very friendly and helpful, so that was a plus. The floor in front of the elevator had puddles everywhere from the swimming pool. I will say the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom could be cleaner. Literally had stuff wiped on the walls. i didn’t really want to know what had been wiped on walls in a bathroom. The maids hair was wrapped in 2 towels and a wash cloth, so that was a fun surprise when getting a towel out. I turned on the heater as it got a bit chilly and it smelled like i was burning down the place. The game room was fun, my daughter loved playing ping pong. However it was so dirty. Looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in days. Broken game pieces sitting on tables. Ziplock bags on the floor, Sticky orange juice on another table. We were there for 2 night and all 3 days it never got cleaned. The free breakfast left a lot to be desired. The room is tiny and trying to squeeze around people to get to things was ridiculous. Maybe we came at a busy time. They only had waffles, bread, cereal and a few things in the fridge. We left and walked to pig and pancake instead. The fire pits were cute. Close walk to town and beach was a plus.

We came for six nights and arrived during a huge event in town that we didn’t know about. Parking spaces were very tight, and the lot very crowded because other random people were also using the lot for free parking since there was no parking enforcement. Staff was friendly. Our room was directly above the pool, so the noise echoed until at least 10pm every night, and the humidity in our room was quite high. People staying in the room next to us repeatedly tried to come in through the adjoining door at all hours of the night and early morning. The bathtub had very high sides, and the base felt very lumpy and uneven. I mention that because I have bad knees and balance issues, so it was challenging, and the grab bar had little space to actually grab. The breakfast was okay, but always very crowded. Hotels.com clearly said there was an “on-site arcade and game room,” but there was no arcade. There was a lot of road noise from the bridge, particularly in the early morning hours, because of delivery trucks. Evenings were very noisy until 11pm or midnight every night with people coming and going, slamming doors, and dogs barking. The one positive was the view from our balcony to watch the different sea birds….until they cleaned the moss off the roof/building, and left all the balconies and chairs covered in debris. We were really looking forward to a restful vacation, and it just didn’t feel like that.

Super friendly staff!!! Our check in experience was wonderful thanks to the excellent staff who made us feel so welcome! The kids loved everything about this place. From making s'mores over the fire pits (s'mores kits available at the front desk!) to the play area outside to the game room inside. Breakfast was simple and delicious. Very clean rooms. Great place for families. Would definitely stay here again.

We were pleased with the central location for easy beach and shopping access. Breakfast was ok. Our room faced the river and had a small balcony, which we enjoyed. The outdoor seating with fire pits were a nice touch.

The breakfast was a littledisappointing, even for a Continental breakfast. Choice of cereals was disappointing, including no oatmeal. Waffle maker worked fine. Our in room coffee maker did not work and the shower curtain was too short, resulting in the water on the bathroom floor. Kind of average for the cost of the room I thought.

A couple of issues - maintaining the room temperature was terrible. One minute you're fine, the next you're freezing. The other was there was damage to the shower curtain rod was pulled from the wall. The room was great. The balcony to the river was fabulous. The breakfast was awesome.

The beds were uncomfortable the pillows were flat as a pancake! The shower curtain rod had tape all over it. My son road one of the rental bikes and the belt came off 3 blocks down the road. The pool had sand all in the bottom of it .. so nasty. The only thing I would say the things we did enjoy was the fire pits outside and the breakfast was grate other then that I would never stay here again for the price of 230. The refrigerator in the bedroom wasn't even turn on. But the staff was super friendly!

This hotel was recommended to us by a family member and it did not disappoint. The staff was friendly and helpful. There were cookies and coffee at check in. Our family enjoyed the pool, hot tub, firepits, game room and complimentary breakfast. The $15 smores kit available at reception was lovely and even included roasting sticks and a variety of chocolates (Andes mints, Reeses, and Hersheys). The kids found this very fun. Our suite was clean and spacious with a nice view of the river. The hotel is dog friendly and located a couple of blocks from the ocean. We would definitely stay here again.

We booked a suite and the connecting room was perfect for our needs. We didn’t use the pool but the fire pit by the water was enjoyable. The location is walkable to restaurants and attractions.

The location of this property was good. The view from our room was great. However, when we woke up in the morning and wanted to take a shower there was not hot water. We called the desk and they stated they were working on the issue. But that did not help us. The place was clean and well maintained. We did have a leak in the bathroom sink as well. We told the front desk and they stated that they would get someone to fix the leak. They did say the hot water issue had been resolved.

Close to the Main Street. Room was decent. You hear foot steps in the hallway, next door, and people above/below but that is typical. Pool is a little cold. Our truck was parked in their parking lot and we came out the next morning and someone has broken in and took some jackets, sunglasses and other things that were hidden. Went to the front desk to check out and asked them if they had cameras to the parking lot. She said that she can’t find the feed that fast. We’re going to file a police report. Not a fun thing to do for a one night stay.

I had better experience with staff from my previous hotel we stayed. One cleaning lady who worked there was loud and not very professional when asked for breakfast and talked behind my husband back and he could heard her saying it. Staff needs more training.

We stayed ina room with 1 king bed and 2 futons. The room is basically two rooms combined. The balcony with river view was a nice touch. There's fire pit with lawn chairs outside but the propane wasn't hooked up. The futon mattress was almost nothing - thin. The room was very clean. Free breakfast was great. Plenty of food choices. Biscuits and gravy for breakfast - a 1st for me at a hotel. The staffs weren't the friendliest with pleasantries

When we asked front desk all they had to say was we dont have TV through internet. Its cable. No other solutions. Good thing we werent in room much our 3 day stay , just one rainy afternoon . They had DVD and rentals but DVD player didnt work either. Coffee was less then steller. Not sure even the brand. Hot tub could use some deep cleaning as well. Id rate a 5 out of 10. Could use some improvement but wasnt a miserable stay .

My husband and I brought our 2 kids for a family trip. We had 3 things that were a must for our hotel. Hot tub/pool as we knew it would be raining, breakfast and walking distance to the beach. We got there checked in and went to check out the pool first, only to find a sign saying it was out of service.. needless to say our kids were bummed as we planned to spend a good part of the day it rained ALL day at the pool area. It was a huge disappointment..

The rooms were clean , the only issue I had with the room is that the fold out couch had boogers on the sheets and when we had told them that the sheets were a lil unclean they kids brushed it off saying well we have never ever had dirty sheets here out of all my years of working here 😳 then proceeding to say well you can just come down and get them from the desk or just check the drewers for clean ones. Ok checked the drewers and the spare sheets were also not fresh . Another thing is 2 of the workers definitely made me and my family unwanted or as if we didn’t belong because we are of color and mixed race yikes 😬!! But there was 1 worker that had checked us in that was so great , nice and friendly and had a good spirit name stars with a c . Overall place is nice and clean they did give a slight breakfast , coffee was 24/7 it was just a few hiccups but no I wouldn’t return too this site my personal preference.

High risk pregnant mama took the kiddos on a little night away before baby comes. We chose this property so they could enjoy swimming. The pool was so cold we were in it for 5 minutes total then we tried the hot tub and that was cold too. The hot tub was colder than a child’s bath would be. The kids were very disappointed and upset.
