The hotel was very friendly, clean and we especially liked the easy access to the beach. We also purchased the smores addition, which was well worth the price and included all the makings. Wonderful memories were made for our family.

It appeared to be newly renovated. The design was older but everything was clean and new. I liked that the windows in the room could open to let in the ocean sound and breeze.

The rooms are very clean, the staff was quite helpful. Beaitiful views. Downside is you have to walk across the street to go swimming in pool or to eat breakfast, Which started at 7 a m, we usually get up way before than.

Cookies at 6pm was a nice treat.

Breakfast was a nice plus, but hot foods not restocked quickly(ran out of scrambled eggs right before I had the chance to get any(@7:20am). Sat down and finished my breakfast which included toasting a muffin(about 10 mins). Left the dining area with no scrambled eggs being replaced. (Make smaller batches?)

Maintenance could use a bit of work. Toilet in my room was terrible at flushing, and bathroom fan as noisy and vibrated a lot.

Overall though, one of the nicest Hotels I've stayed at in Seaside. Would stay there again.

So I reserved a partial beach view and let me say it didn’t disappoint. The view was better than expected. The room was outdated but very well kept. They offer for a small fee a beach bomb fire package to take out and start your self out in the beach and with an easy/short walk straight to the beach. The only down fall was at breakfast, it looked pretty good but too bad I couldn’t get any as the line was big and the space was small, so I decided to dip outta there. Overall very nice place, with good staff, and hey! They bring out cookies every day at 6pm in the lobby.

The room wasn't very clean. The jet tub was also dirty. Only booked the hotel for the hot tub which was out of order, they did upgrade to the spa room which was nice but didn't want to use the tub because it has bugs and dirt in it.

I book this hotel for 2 reasons the hot tub and the laundry. When we arrived there was a sign at the front desk. Hot Tub out of order... OK, went to check out the laundry facilities, EVERY SINGLE WASHING MACHINE out of order. Went to the front desk, yep everything out of order... the rooms are much small than they appear on the listing. The bedroom windows are facing the outdoor walkways. Would not recommend

This is an older hotel and shows some of its age. It is a fine location and the views are good if on the upper floors. There is one elevator for access, but slow. The coffee and breakfast and nothing to write home about, cookies are put out at 6pm daily in the office. This is a good location for a quick walk into town, or to walk the beach, away from the town (for solitude). Prices were good, so they got my business. Not my favorite town, would stay in Cannon Beach next time.

The entire Ebb Tide is a \"tired\" structure. The entire complex needs a major overhaul. Cracks in our tub, wear marks on the toilet...

It was an ok stay for 5 nights. We kept ourselves busy so that we didn't have to stay in our room.

No access to Netflix, or any other pay station on the TV.

I wouldn't stay at Ebb Tide again. If anything, I'd get a better hotel off of the beach amd just walk to the beach when I wanted to go there.

Staff in front Lobby were always very friendly and fun to talk to.

Very good staff and very good breakfast. Good location. Hot tub was not working and pool area needed some attention. Lack of air conditioning was a problem as it was very warm in the room when we checked in. Had to use a fan to help cool down. We were aware that there was nto aircinditioning, but we thought it was going to be cool weather this time of year and it was not.

Ebb Tide is aged, but it gets all the important things right. As long as you don’t mind an older property, you can rest assured they’ll take care of you and your family/friends during your trip to Seaside, Oregon.

Clean comfortable bed. Great views. Easy access to your rooms. The keys and mag locks work on the doors. A delicious (included) breakfast. Perfect location to the city amenities.

It's nothing fancy, but it's nice, clean, and quiet (depending on your neighbors). It could use a little updating, and Netflix, YouTube on TV, or casting from devices would be awesome. A bigger shower head or more water pressure is a must!
Oh, there was no drain stopper for my bathtub so I couldn't soak in.

The hotel has seen some years but it is really well-maintained. The rooms are very spacious with great views (if you opt for ocean view). The staff is super friendly and helpful.
There is also a full breakfast available, as well as fresh-baked cookies every afternoon.
I highly recommend it. We have stayed here at least 3 different times.

Picture a tall Motel 6 with an ocean view without a balcony to sit and enjoy the fresh air and view, just to be admired from a window.

The area seemed a little sketchy at night, with odd characters roaming the paved path right below our room half the night.

It felt overpriced for the experience.

The rooms are set up very oddly as well. The bedrooms were located just off the main hall so people are constantly walking by making it not feel very private with visible gaps from the sides of the curtains, especially being right near the elevator. In addition, the room with the view is an odd living room with a weirdly angled, uncomfortable couch. The decor was somewhat drab and dated, and the whole room gave off a sort of dingy vibe.

Overall takeaway, if you're on a tight budget for an ocean getaway, I guess it works in a pinch, but next time I will probably spend a little more for upgraded accommodations. No offense to the Ebb Tide meant.

We rented a room with a kitchenette and was stocked with all amenities except for anything used for cooking (i.e salt, oil, etc), so if you're planning on using the kitchen, please be sure to buy some ahead of time. As stated by it's name, the hotel was right outside the oceanfront. It was lovely being able to watch the sunrise/sunset from the hotel window and you were minutes away from the beach itself.

Breakfast is included in the price of admission and they were fully stocked for the usual continental breakfast including multiple dairy items. We actually were in love with the local yogurt that the hotel stocked (I believe it was a brand called YAMI) and it was nice that the hotel included local offerings instead of big brand name items.

Older motel, but right on the beach. Very close and walking distance to the main strip area with restaurants, bars, souvenir shops, ice cream. Free parking, cookies at 6pm and grab and go breakfast. Love the option for 3 queen beds too in the room, great for family or larger group of friends. Bathrooms should probably be redone. Windows open one way, would make sense for the curtain to open in the same direction so you can air flow into the room without having the curtains completely open (room window on walkways). (Common sense)

We've stayed at this hotel several times before. This trip we were in room 120 which is across the street from the lobby, pool, and breakfast area. Sadly, this room is very dated and is in very poor condition. The tap water was undrinkable and sink and tub drains were very slow. Probably the most troublesome was the extreme smell of bleach that permeated the room, especially the bathroom. On a positive note, breakfast is wonderful and staff is attentive. We would likely stay again but not in this building.

The room was very clean. Some of the more affordable hotels at the beach are a little musty. This place was not at all musty. They said the front desk was 24/7, but I kind of had to take their word for it because there were no issues that ever required getting a hold of them! The three times I did talk to them (check in and check out and getting some extra Keurig pods), they were super nice and very efficient. Breakfast was way more food than I was expecting for a \"continental\" breakfast. There was sausage and eggs and a pancake machine and biscuits and gravy for warm stuff. There was cereal and fruit and yogurt. There was a drink station with coffee, tea, and juice. I'm probably forgetting some stuff. Suffice it to say, there was a breakfast room with lots of varied food. Anyway more thumbs, to give this place the thumbs up they deserve! 10 outta 10! No notes!

I didn’t mind having the ground floor room where you couldn’t see the ocean but wouldn’t stay in one again. Upstairs guests were very heavy walkers and had a child that ran back and forth in the room which was pretty noisy. Other than that I would definitely stay again just on the upper level.
