Loved this cute hotel. Views from the top floor balcony in our room were amazing and being able to leave the screen door open all night was so nice! The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom looks very outdated but its cute in a vintage way. Even though it is old, it is very clean and doesn't feel gross. The cookies in the lobby in the evening were fun and the staff was so helpful and accommodating. We got into town a couple hours early before check-in. They hurried and got our room ready for us and gave us a call to come back and check in. Super kind! Would recommend for this area!

Great staff. They were helpful. But the actual hotel and amenities are so incredibly dated and mostly shabby. Absolutely needs a modernization. No AC in the rooms, the lobby is closed off to everyone except for breakfast hours. Pool was fun for my daughter, but dirty. And for 209 for a single night(taxes&fees incl) I would have rather spent the money somewhere else.

We traveled to Seaside as a family with young kids. Our initial impression wasn't great. I asked the front desk about where to go for tide pooling and they didn't know (odd to me, with it being a coastal tourist town). Our room had a bad smell too, just from age, I think. But we left the door open (screen door shut), and it aired out quickly. Typical continental breakfast without waffles in a small area. Maybe 4 small round tables? The pool was a very comfortable temperature, but cramped. 2 benches to sit on.

All that to say, the location was fabulous - right on the promenade - the room was comfortable, staff was friendly and attended to our needs very quickly. We loved the cookies in the lobby every evening. I would stay there again, if we make it back to Seaside.

What a lovely place to stay on the Promenade at Seaside. Staff were super friendly and helpful, room was immaculate, bed was comfy, fresh baked cookies were a nice surprise, and views from the sliding glass door back patio were lovely. I will note that if you want a SUPER quiet place then this hotel is probably not your cup of tea because sound easily traveled through doors and hallways during the day, but guests were thoughtful after sunset and it wasn't a problem at all at night. If that sort of random ambient noise in the middle of the day is not a big deal to you because you're going to spend all of your time hanging out at the beach or the Promenade then I can heartily recommend the place.

Great 2 star hotel to stay at and be within walking distance to town and the beach. Lovely to go down at sunrise and sunset and walk barefoot on the beach. I enjoyed this, but idk how everyone feels, birds were nesting above the window and we got to listen to babies and watch mom and dad come with worms all day long on the rainy day we mostly spent inside. Fireplace, table, nice it has utensils and dishes to go with the fridge and microwave

Its amazing! Stay here if you have family and want to enjoy Seaside Oregon. I recommend a 3rd floor room for nice views of the ocean. Cookies are a great touch for kids and the pool is clean and very nice. Perfect temperature although I did come in June. When I return to Seaside this will most likely be my go to hotel!

Rooms are very clean the bathroom is really small so if you're over 100 and something pounds you will not be able to fit in the bathroom comfortably other than that the rest of the room was very nice pilot to the fire was always lit so you would see a little flame which kind of bothered me the view was pretty do not smoke on their balcony they have you sign a release form that says a $250 fee we had to walk down to the front where the beach Walk is very convenient to all the shops didn't try the pool or the breakfast

My only complaint was that I couldn’t take a shower in the AM because it wouldn’t come on. I tried every way imaginable and I couldn’t turn the shower head to turn on. I mean, that’s not a difficult task, but, it wasn’t working for me. I was in room 202.

This is our 4th time staying at the Hi-Tide, and we enjoyed it very much!!
We love the old school feel, and that it is within walking distance to the little town of Seaside. The ocean view is the main reason we chose this hotel. We used the indoor pool and hot tub numerous times during our visit.
We ran into a couple of people who were not happy with their visit. They had complaints that we did not find relevant. Our beds were very comfortable, our room did not have a 'funky' smell.
We know it is an older waterfront hotel and that is the charm of it!
Breakfast was minimal, with the basic grab and go. We brought food to cook, so that was not and issue with our stay. The warm cookies served at 6pm were a highlight for my companion.
We would certainly recommend this hotel! It is reasonably priced, staff are so nice, housekeeping and groundskeeper were always taking care of the property!
This is the only place we would stay for our visit to Seaside

Location is excellent to beach, restaurants and stores, all easy walks. Great ocean view from 3rd floor with elevator access. Room was clean but with outdated furniture and old yellow bath and sink. Quiet location further down promenade from bigger hotels and traffic. We booked 4 days in advance but room prices were lower for the same room the next couple of days. Overall enjoyed our stay at Seaside and will come again. Hope High Tides finishes their remodel soon.

Biggest disappointment was that the fireplace didn’t work which was the main reason I booked the place. Rooms look a little better in the pics. Clean, but outdated, especially the bathroom area that looks like it’s from the 70s with the weird off yellow color in the bathtub. The lighting in the detached sink / mirror area makes everything look a bit dingy and not ideal to do makeup (ended up doing mine in front of window). I wonder if some rooms are more recently renovated than others and we just didn’t get the luck of the draw. I like that there are dvd players in the rooms and you can rent dvds from the front desk if you wish - that’s the best part of the stay besides the proximity to the beach. Breakfast was subpar - mainly prepackaged grab and go items like yogurt and instant oatmeal, but better than nothing. I’d stay here again if I was low on options but I wouldn’t plan to return necessarily.

No time for the pool during this visit, but we've enjoyed it in the past. Love Seaside and love the Hi-Tide. We'll be back for sure

Despite renovations being done to the building, there was no noise early in the morning, and everything was cleaned up and put away for the evening. The room was clean, the view from our oceanfront room balcony was awesome. The sound of the ocean waves was soothing, the sunsets were gorgeous, and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. Those 6:00 pm cookies every evening were delicious and worth coming back to every evening. Access to the beach was just a short walk down the stairs or elevator to the back of the building and a very short stroll (1 minute) to the beach as you can see from our room. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Dear Hi-Tide Oceanfront Inn

I hope this message finds you well. I would like to provide some feedback regarding my recent stay at your establishment.

While I truly appreciated the beautiful view, which was absolutely stunning and a highlight of my visit, I did encounter a few concerns during my stay. The furniture appeared to be quite old and unfortunately emitted an unpleasant odor. Additionally, the carpet had a noticeable smell that was somewhat off-putting. The bathrooms were very small, which made it difficult to move around comfortably. Lastly, there was no extra storage available for personal belongings, which was inconvenient.

I wanted to share these observations to help improve the overall experience for future guests. Thank you for your attention to these matters, and again, I must emphasize how much I loved the view.

Fireplace did not work in the room. The rooms are a bit outdated and it was musky but hard to notice after a bit. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was limited but at least they had some protein options. We showed up to check in at 8:45 PM really looking forward to spending some time in the hot tub before bed, but the pool closes at 9 PM which was disappointing. The price was very good considering it’s right on the beach.

Great views so close to the beach . Best part about the room was the balcony . The rooms are very outdated, the refrigerator didn’t work . It was hard to open the door cause the old paint you had to push door handle up. The keys deactivate if they get anywhere near your phone . The fireplace is just a light that flickers .

Very pleasent stay. A bit noisy, but I can't blame Hi-Tide for that. The staff were very friendly. Room a titch dingy but open up the sliding doors for fresh sea air, it was not an issue. Good price for what we got. Also liked that everything was in walking distance.
