Sauna was so nice to have access to every day. Breakfast is nothing fancy (croissant, yogurt and granola, fruit), but they will deliver it to your room which is nice! Room is more of reworked motel room, but it’s cute, spacious, and close to the main road in Seaside. Walls are thin, so it can get a tad noisy but they provide ear plugs in the rooms. Parking is free. And lobby has a small bar where you can grab some drinks on tap and salads/charcuterie. I’d stay again!

We have stayed at Adrift a sister property in Long Beach and had some high expectations for Ashore and they blew it out of the water! We were lucky enough to get a room in the first floor and we loved being able to park right outside our room it made unloading our bags a breeze. Our room had a cute boutique industrial look, but did not skimp on comfort. The pool and sauna were clean, well maintained and HEATED! Although they are not right on the beach they are conveniently located next to everything! The beach is a 2 minute walk, shopping and restaurants also a 2 minute walk. We did not have to drive at all on our trip! Overall Ashore was a perfect hotel with great amenities while offering comfort and functionality. We cannot wait to stay here again and explore other Adrift Hospitality locations and would definitely recommend that you do too!

Room was clean but the fan in the bathroom did not work and the switch was completely broken. It also had a couple of holes in the wall. Overall, great location! Only a two minute walk to the beach. Breakfast was only pastries and yogurt, not full breakfast.

We stayed in #16 and the bed was HORRIBLE, the right side sunk down to the bed platform. Thank goodness it was a king size, so my husband scooted over to my side. We did not contact front desk because it was after 10:30 when we discovered the bed situation and we were only staying 1 night. I wore black slippers and picked up pet hairs when I went to pack it away, this was right before we checked out. The WiFi was awful, kept kicking us off, we didn’t even bother with it after that. Shower and hot water was great. There was a lot of noise from the swimming pool.

Breakfast was simple and good.

The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. We love the location was able to walk every where and did not need to drive. I was going to share about the room, but I was never asked how my stay was.

We hadn’t been to Ashore in 8 years and was really looking forward to this trip because we had fond memories there. Things are definitely run down from our last visit and when we checked in, the lady working the front desk was not very friendly. For breakfast, you need to fill out a form and turn it in the day before and if I had not asked, we wouldn’t have known because we weren’t informed at check in. The decorative pillows and blankets had stains and the community ice freezer was empty the whole time we were there. It was disappointing and we will be staying elsewhere on our next trip to Seaside.

Unfortunately, our stay wasn’t the best experience. The staff wasn’t very helpful, we had to ask about breakfast ourselves, and the following day we weren’t even given a form for it. We also had to keep checking in about basic things for the next day instead of being given information upfront.
We stayed for three nights and only received fresh towels once. The ice machine was never stocked either. The room itself also needed attention,multiple duvet blankets had noticeable tears, and the mattress was extremely worn with a large dip in it. It was uncomfortable enough that we ended up rotating the mattress ourselves the next night just to get some rest.
Overall, there were several areas that could use improvement, especially in terms of service and room maintenance.

The property was really cool and we loved the decor! Bedding was soft, room was clean, and they gave us a free bottle of wine plus s’mores fixings for the fire pit. Only thing I’d say is the standing shower was very small so if that’s a concern for you, book a larger room. I’d definitely stay again!

Hotel is adorable! Room was perfect! We got the suite and it was everything we needed and wanted for the weekend. The bed was comfortable and the decor was adorable.
We loved the coffee and tea offerings and my son and husband really enjoyed the beers on tap. The pool was perfect, it was 93-94 degrees (according to my watch).
Location is perfect It is a quick walk to the beach and yet still1-2 min walk from the Main Street with all the fun stuff, arcade, etc.
Only need for improvement would be the shower. The psi was insanely high 🤣 so everyone got powerwashed in the shower. This made it impossible to not get water outside the shower. Otherwise- perfect!!
It was a great weekend and opportunity to spoil our dog one last time. 🌈❤️

This was an interesting stay. It wasn’t bad, it just felt mildly inconvenient on so many levels. Check-in was later than most hotels, but it’s a small place so that’s understandable. The floor is concrete. I’m pretty sure there was a sand on the floor from the moment we walked in. The staff was friendly and the pool was great. Breakfast was gone, but we’re early raisers and the earliest option was 8-8:30 am. The trundle bed also had a wheel missing. From the looks of the scratches on the floor and probably is a reoccurring incident. I mean, it wasn’t bad. we probably wouldn’t stay there again because there are other places to try. Hotel we were in room one and you could hear literally every step above us. It was the worst creaking.

It was a cute motel, it’s like an upgraded motel with how it looks and the bar in the lobby. I did like how they can deliver breakfast to your door in the mornings. The mattress itself was very uncomfortable as it sinks in really low and the pillows are high so it did hurt my back — we only did 2 nights. I would say there again but probably no more than 2 nights.

We enjoyed our stay with our dog. They were welcoming to all of us at check in and answered questions we had. We had no problems using the EV charging station, though mid-week on the off-season that isn't surprising. The breakfast delivered to the room in the morning was a nice touch.

I chose this place because the reviews were good. Now this place is not terrible but is also just not a place I would stay again with my family.. The beds are comfortable like temperpedic but because of all the protective covering on mattresses all you body heat and moisture is on you. My 4 year old was sweating like crazy. We stayed in the suite so we had a microwave. If your not in one,you will share one microwave with the rest of the hotel outside! I witnessed homeless using it and someone shooting up drugs while I took my puppy outside. Their back parking lot has orange caps, condoms and trash littered. I tried to blow dry my hair and kept popping the fuse. Hence why I believe they have a community microwave. The pool is too warm but I think is non chlorine which is nice. Their coffee they deliver for breakfast is good! The big silver Sesame Street trashcan with a lid was awkward in a indoor room . Oh and also if you take a shower or bath make sure door is shut cause the smoke detector goes off even if you have the exhaust fan on.. lol Love noon checkout.

The rooms were remodeled and super clean and industrial looking. The rain shower was relaxing and the bed was big and soft. The major downside is the noise. This hotel is right near downtown seaside so I was prepared for more noise and commotion overall, but I wasn’t expecting the lack of sound proofing in general. Every footstep outside was noticeable, people talking (even in the parking lot) were clear as day and there were cars peeling out until pretty late. I am a light sleeper and was worried as soon as I saw the complimentary packs of ear plugs! I’m sad because the staff and amenities are awesome and it was really easy to bring our pup.

Just a quick getaway with my 5 year old son and our dog to Seaside for a night. I love this place. Great location, always clean, always friendly, easy check in and check out and great amenities at a great price! My son and I loved the heated salt water pool. Last summer the whole family stayed at the Long Beach, Washington location and it was just as fantastic. We will be staying at Ashore again the next team we head to the coast.

We really loved our room!! The bed was crazy comfortable, there was plenty of room to spread out, the shower was a walk in with a rain like shower head. I really dug the decor too! We were a 2 minute walk from the ocean as well as many restaurants and shopping. This was one of my favorite hotels on the whole Oregon coast which we visit often. Great price too!

Solid deck and stairs so you don't hear people banging/walking around. Board games to play. Nice staff. Complimentary check-in drink (on-site small bar). Wide parking spaces. Showerhead comes from ceiling, so unless you're 7'6\", you get a good shower. The only down side, wifi would not connect in room. Very convenient to beach and main street/shops. We would book here again.

Remodeled motel but still great

We had an overall good stay. We didn’t look at pictures of the entire hotel but the ones they had on hotels.com. You can tell that it is a remodel of an old motel, which initially was alarming since we were bringing our 1 year old. We walked in and realized it was remodeled and modernized. Our room was very clean, though the Edison bulbs did not give good lighting for our room. Overall, the service was great, amenities were good and were one hotel off the beach and one street away from the main part of the downtown area so location was great. Seaside was a nice town though it did feel a little run down, like it was really nice about 10 years ago. We still had a good time but Canon beach is substantially nicer. Overall, we had a good stay but it’s not your typical 5 star look and feel so I gave it a solid 4.

The room was great! Reminded me of a loft in Soho in Manhattan, NYC. The decor works well. Complimentary breakfast delivered to your door and Monk's coffee were a plus too! Staff was helpful and friendly. Beer on tap and mixed drinks too! Pool and sauna were clean, and both were a nice temperature.

We have stayed at other hotels and keep coming back to this hotel.

The good: Location! One block from the beach and main street. They’ve added complimentary breakfast. Just make sure you fill out the breakfast slip DAILY to get it. LOVE the meat and cheese board offered. Most staff very friendly.

The bad: Pool heater seemed broken. First day (Saturday) pool was very warm (similar to past stays-which is one of the reason we stay here). Second and third day pool was cool-too cold for my 4 and 8 year old. The other complaint is I wish they provided a stick vac or Swiffer/broom in the rooms. Being a block from the beach means sand. We love the concrete floors because you know what’s on it (vs a lot of the hotels in the area that have old, gross carpet). However the floors get sandy quick. Need a vacuum or broom in the room to fix this.

The ugly: Checkout is noon (this is great). We checked out at 11:20 and mentioned we would like to leave our car for an hour in the parking lot. We’ve stayed here many times and have never had an issue with leaving it in the lot after checkout for a few hours. Two employees said we could leave it there until noon and no later. Because they needed to have room for people checking in. I’ve posted a picture of the lot at noon. This is a 22 room motel and they had at least 9 rooms open for check in on the day we check out (per Expedia). It’s Monday of Labor Day weekend. Not asking to stay very long but didn’t appreciate the lack of flexibility.

The check in process was easy and the staff at check in were welcoming and warm. The room was decent enough. The reason for my poor rating relates to the check out process. I asked for a late check out of 1230 instead of 12pm and was denied. The room needed to be turned over for new guests, I understand that fair enough. My partner was running a relay race in Seaside so I packed up the room and was out at 1152 to meet her at the finish. I received a call from the hotel at 1206 telling me to move truck because every space was needed. I fail to understand how six minutes after check out my truck is creating a parking shortage for guests who are unable to check in for another four hours. There were more open spots than filled at that time when my truck was moved at 1209. My perception is the hospitality stops at the moment of check out.

Overpriced remolded old motel in tourist town. Advertised free breakfast & coffee but coffee not ready at 815 and no cream etc. No maid service even though requested. Close to the beach & town. If you want to take kids to do bumper cars, ice creams etc this is your place, it’s convenient to all of that. Young kids are running the desk & seem over it. I think they are taking advantage and charging too much for a simple motel.

What was not so great- the door to the room was not sealed to the outside, the frame was broken and did not feel the most secure. The shower was not properly cleaned there was a zin and hair in the tub when we got there.

Racist- terrible and aggressive staff

This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.we were in town for a family vacation, and several other of our family members also came in town and stayed at other hotels so we could all be together. At check in, I was spoken to very rudely and didn’t feel welcomed. The service and staff were aggressive and racist. They tried to upcharge me and accuse me of having multiple pets or guests because my family who were also staying in seaside stopped by in the morning to say goodbye before they left at the end of their trip. They also tried to charge me for their cars just for parking to say hello to us. And then lied and said our family had been coming in and out all day. This was only 10am when they arrived to say goodbye. I was also told I would be charged two pet fees simply because when I requested to extend my stay an additional night, they had to schedule it in the system as a seperate reservation per their explanation. Even though we were the same family staying in the room for the same trip/ duration. I was then told I’d be charged to replace towels if our food stains couldn’t be cleaned out by staff. I was never asked nicely about any of the confusion, only charged immediately and then spoken to like a child. We are a black family and I feel this was racially motivated on how aggressive they were with their words and mistreatment . Other hotel guest were around as well and were not greeted the same way - I canceled our trip early and checked out immediately

Unexpected rustic industrial decor, breakfast of yogurt, fruit, and croissant brought to the room, and plank flooring are some of the features that were very different from a chain hotel stay. Super clean room, comfortable bed and very nice staff. Location is great.

We did a last minute trip and booked for one night. The continental breakfast was great. Coffee shop was great with good latte. Close to beach and promenade with easy access. Bed was ok but not great. Mattress was lumpy and I shared with staff on checkout.

Stayed in a king room and it was fantastic. Bed was one of the best ever in a hotel. Room was spotless and has a fridge. Front desk was helpful with everything from directions to giving us extra creamer for our coffee. Continental breakfast is delivered to your door which is a great touch!

Cement floor is terrible. My crawling baby was filthy so the floors were not cleaned properly. This broom was for 4 people but only had 1 real bed and a roll out/futon forbthe other bed. Had to go outside to the nearest micrwave to warm anything up which is horrible when traveling with a baby. The hairdryer cord had a cut and electricuted me when i tried to use it. Plus it was a low quality blow dryer. I liked breakfast delivered to my room but forbthe hindreds of dollars we paid, i expect more than a pastry and fruit. Will never stay here again. Plus the artwork is creepy, we had a picture of a random guy just staring at us. Curtains had stains, the list goes on...

Family friendly near the beach

Great hotel close to the beach. We only stayed 1 night, but the experience was great! Service was awesome, room was the perfect size for us, a family of 3.
Pool was warm and it felt wonderful after a day of travel. The bar onsite is great, and being able to order breakfast to your room was a definite perk.
The only negative thing we have regarding the room was the air conditioner....it was noisy! Other than that, the experience was great!

$50 ripped off by Ashore Hotel.

They charged us a fee of $50 for if the room was left dirty. We were told the money would be returned in 3 days after we left. We made sure the room was spotless. We never got the money back, we called twice and was told it would be returned, never happened. Called again, now was told that it went to a pet deposit which we already paid when we were there. I feel we were ripped off. NEVER GOING BACK THERE. They lost a good customer over $50.

I liked that this motel is a green motel. There were several unique things about the motel. One is that the ice was individually wrapped in bags and that the continental breakfast was delivered to the room. For the price point, it was noisy (we could hear the upstairs people walking around) A bit pricy overall..

Great staff. Friendly and efficient. Everything else was pretty basic.

With every light turned on that we could find, the room was very dark. And the room design kind of felt like someone put their good ideas into the rooms without actually staying the night to see how they worked out. For example, large metal trash cans with lids on them are not exactly convenient when you're trying to throw something away when your other hand is occupied.

Because of demand at this popular beach in the Summer season, prices are extremely high. That is understandable. However, when prices are literally three times higher than similar hotels in the off-season, you would think a tiny bit of that profit margin would be spent on... Something... Like nicer coffee, or at least one coffee pack per registered guest... We were a party of three, and amenities like that were sparse for a party of two.

I don't want to ramble on with negatives, as there were nice things about the place. But when prices rise that amazingly high during the summer months, a hotel should be really careful not to skimp on the various things that cost pennies and yet make a guest feel welcome.

The hotel was what I expected... a small quaint beach hotel. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable. Would def stay there again. The larger rooms are perfect for families traveling with kids.
