Don’t let the outside rundown look fool you, they are in their facelift era, they have so much to do on their property and the cleanest rooms I’ve seen in awhile.

The hotel left mixed impressions. We liked the breakfast, the quick and smooth check-in, and the responsive staff, as well as the comfortable beds and Smart TV. However, the rooms need updating: the furniture is worn, there was a strong smell of cleaning products and later dampness, and the internet was unreliable. On the first night, there was noise from a group of teenagers, and we did not feel completely safe. Overall, there are positives, but also important areas that need improvement.

This place was wonderful. They made us feel welcome after we left from a different hotel because we were uncomfortable in the situation. We were at it the other hotel. The staff was very helpful and nice. The place was clean and comfortable, and it felt safe. Was close to everything. Close to the beach, close to the shops. Would definitely come back. We really enjoyed our stay.

The breakfast was good and the location is perfect. It has a small indoor pool which was fun for our grandson but I wish there was a jacuzzi in the pool area. There used to be one but it was cemented over. Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Patti.

This is our favorite place to stay in Seaside. I take my grandson on spring break every year and this hotel has everything. The staff is fabulous. They are so kind. They’ve got puzzles movies books all sorts of stuff in the lobby for you to borrow also bicycles. they have an outdoor fire pit They light for you so don’t forget to bring your smore supplies. We absolutely love going here. They will always have our business. Thank you for such a fabulous stay this year.

Breakfast was okay nothing ever changed up, same stuff everyday. Location was great within walking distance to everything. Pool was cold so the kids didn't swim. Staff was awesome, we left behind somethings. They called and let us know, and kindly mailed them to us. We would stay again.

When we arrived at the hotel, we immediately noticed the comforter had 3 very clear stains. Some resembling possible bodily fluids(???) When inspecting further, we noticed the hotel-provided dishes were not fully clean. A bright red, hardened piece of food was stuck to the side of a bowl. We requested sheets, and received them along with a brief apology, which I appreciate. The soiled sheets were never picked up from our room, and we slept with them on the floor that night. Apart from that, the ladies at the front desk were kind, and they had yummy cookies for guests to enjoy. Although, that does not at all redeem for the cleanliness concerns..!

The pool was nice. Appeared that there may have been a hot tub but it got filled in. That’s a bummer. The pool water was a bit cloudy. We swim at a local ymca and their chlorine pool is never that cloudy. I wonder if they test the water for clarity, ph and all that. Staff was great and helpful. Enjoyed the breakfast. Room was clean. Beds were comfy. We enjoyed our stay

The night shift guy was awesome! Very friendly and helpful. Made stellar cookies too.

The room was nice. Clean and spacious. I loved that the windows actually opened. The fridge worked great, almost a little too well. The only thing I would have changed were the pillows, they were… mushy.

The breakfast was good only due to the waffles. The lack of protein was a disappointment. No eggs except hard boiled and no meat. It worked though.

Overall not a bad place for the off-season rate paid. I was there on business so my needs were met. Room is an odd mix of old and new. Curtains definitely need to be removed/replaced. Bed was comfortable. Desk chair was one step away from needing duct tape. Points for decent in-room coffee with Coffee Mate creamer and not powdered packets. Close proximity to Broadway and dining/drinking options. Just a few blocks from the ocean. If the price is right I would return.

The room was in fair condition. The TV remote did not control the actual TV that was present. Dated property, but has had somewhat of a facelift. Found it to be quite expensive compared to similar properties nearby and even those oceanfront.

This was by far the friendliest hotel I’ve stayed at….and I travel a lot. The front seat receptionist was happy, positive and helpful. The staff at breakfast were very kind and thoughtful. This hotel was super cozy and close to all the seaside attractions. The hotel room was extremely clean and we enjoyed the heated swimming pool!! We will be back again!!

I knew the price was really low but figured it had to do with it being winter.. the room, while it had been cleaned (I know this for a fact because we had to wait for them to finish), was.. not great. I’m not really sure if they just put us in a bad room because they knew we had kids or if they’re all in that state, but our shower curtain was torn the bathroom walls were falling apart the door had had a hole in it that was patched with a large obvious piece of wood etc. the furniture was kind of hodge podge.. and the room was very very dim. I would not stay here again.

The suite was pretty disappointing, it felt and smelled more like a run down apartment than a hotel suite. The couch smelled like body odor and the entire suite smelled like mildew and heavy cleaning chemicals. The AC was just a noisy rolling swamp cooler, and did not do a great job of keeping the room cool. The staff was very helpful and friendly, we had nothing but good interactions with them. They were really kind and accommodating with our dog, but I doubt we would return because of the condition of the room.

Three of us stayed at Inn at Seaside to celebrate a birthday over the weekend. Cute hotel with lots of character and staff was very nice. Super clean, comfortable bed, and our kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. Our issues were with the specific room we were given. Our room was very noisy, located right next to the breakfast room, front desk, and door leading to the pool. It was impossible to sleep without earplugs as staff rolled carts up and down after hours. Ventilation was terrible and the room super stuffy. The kitchen windows opened into the noisy hallway so no help there.The heating/ac unit dripped lots of water on the floor so we avoided using it. It was a busy weekend and the hotel was sold out, so there were no options to move to a different room.

We stayed at the Inn at Seaside and were impressed by how super clean everything was. The staff were very nice and incredibly helpful, which made check-in and our overall experience smooth and pleasant.

The only downside was a strange smell in the room that lingered throughout our stay. It wasn’t overpowering, but noticeable enough to mention.

Despite that, the cleanliness and warm hospitality made it a solid stay. If they address the odor issue, this place would be an easy five stars.

Staff was friendly and inviting. Amenities equal or better than other similar dwellings visited.
Location is excellent, but quite a bit of road noise heard in the room due to proximity to Promenade.

Easy checking in and the staff are nice.
Accessibility and walking distance to the nearby restaurants.

And best part is that they provide towel and blanket for our pet, unlike other hotels we stayed at before in Seaside. Appreciate it much. I highly recommended this place.

This was my second time staying here, and it was great. I should probably mention, the lights in the room I stayed it kept flickering. Not bothersome for me, but maybe something the hotel should have inspected. Also, I noticed crumbs and dust under the couch, up around the dishes, etc. Again, not bothersome, but something to mention. Overall, this was a great stay. Thank you.

Stayed over the weekend. Unbeknownst to us that the roof was being replaced and we were staying at the top floor. When we got there we inquired if the work would be paused over the weekend - we got the mixed messages from the staff and the workers themselves. Needless to say they were working on the roof - with loud bangs for hours on Saturday & Sunday.
I understand that it is a temporary situation but I wished that property would have been more clear about the work, we may have stayed at someplace else.

Additionally, the Room 318 where we stayed shares the wall with the elevator. And we heard the elevator going up and down whenever we are in the room - over the weekend including late at night.

However the staff were courteous and friendly.
Tried to accommodate us to a different room but did not fit our needs - party of 5.

The staff was very nice, which pushed up my review. We brought our two dachshunds for a weekend event. They provided a nice welcome package for each of our dogs, which includes bowls, treats, then towels and sheets just for the dogs.
But, the shower handle was broken, used soap on top of the shower ledge, it was difficult to see, and there were coloring books left behind by another guest.

I hate to complain because every interaction we had with the staff was so pleasant.

The hotel was very cute. Check in was easy and the front desk was super nice and helpful. The room itself wasn’t terrible but it definitely felt worn. The carpet was gross. Beds were comfortable and clean. We spent a lot of time in Seaside at the mall and boardwalk checking out the shops. Everything was walkable distance.
